Nim was not the most athletic girl. Admittedly, there hadn't been a lot of time for proper exercise on the commune, but she had always enjoyed running. Though most of her experience running involved hiding from Elders and cops who didn't know what to make of the weird children with bags under their eyes and a hunger in their voices. The point was, her breathing was pretty hard, but she wasn't going to let up. She wanted to get this done and get away from Pokemon at all costs.

Starter Pokemon: Mimikyu [F] Name & Level: Eins, Level 3 [Temperament] Lonely Bio: Eins spent most of her pre-capture time haunting a candy store and sneaking free lollipops into the pockets of screaming children. She'd have been content to stay that way but for the will of the cult. Indeed, she was actually caught by Nim's sponsor, and given to the girl in an attempt to give her a step up when it came to fighting. The sponsor also has a slightly better sense of humor than Nim-- giving a Mimikyu a Mimikyu! No one could count on Nim's dislike of Pokémon being quite as... intense as it was, for the girl can barely stand to look at her starter. Nim couldn't even name the creature properly, just giving it a number for a name. For her part, Eins isn't too fussed; humans are strange, and she'll melt her trainer's heart one way or another... possibly by giving it a heart attack, but still. Sadly for the Smoochum, she would find her efforts were under appreciated by the Golett. Though he often identified himself as male, Umbra was a genderless. A soul housed in a clay body, and hence he was above and beyond the reach of feelings of lust or love.
She had however gotten Sol's attention...for all the wrong reasons. Wax Smoochum Lips are worth a FORTUNE in the right markets! To some it was a delicacy! Others an aphrodisiac! Some woman even believed it would give them thick pouty lips like a Jynx! No matter how Sol looked at it he saw money, and so he would give the command "ASTONISH!"
Umbra's eyes lit up at that; one of the few things he could do to visibly emote. The call of battle would have rushed through his veins if he had any. As it was, he would respond with words best suited to the situation ">Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn<" Following this shocking declaration the Golett would swing the back of his hand at the oncoming Smoochum.
Starter Pokemon: Golett Name & Level: Umbra, Lv 3 [Temperament] Brave Bio: Shaped from clay and given life centuries ago, this Golett was created with a singular purpose: to serve the people of his homeland. In times of peace that meant simple feats of strength, hauling limber and iron. In times of war...acts far more grim in nature. His last images of a world long lost to the sands of time, were of his comrades and redness of flame. Then....darkness.
When he rose again it was to the shattered ruins of what once was, and the broken forms of other Golett. He wandered the remains of the castle for a time, but departed before long. There was no point in protecting a land which had been forgotten by the ages, and so he went in search of a new "purpose". It was this same search that would lead him to the tunnels beneath Roshan City. A veritable maze, the tunnels see frequent use by smugglers and those of less than legal enterprises. It was here that he encountered Sol, and where he found purpose once more. Dubbed "Umbra" by the boy, he once more found himself with a home and people to serve; but in his ticking "heart" he knew it was only a matter of time before he once more graced the battlefield.
The Cherubi certainly looked like food...and it would probably taste pretty good. Trafalgar couldn't understand the Cherubi, but seeing it wobble so excitedly in front of him, Trafalgar decided to play nice. "Hey there buddy." Trafalgar spoke to the cherry Pokemon.
Trust would respond to the Pokemon instead. /Sorry to inform you, humans cannot fly. We...were dropped off at the top of this tree and climbed all the way down. Did you want something?/ Trust replied to the Pokemon. Some would say, Trust was as clear and cut as Trafalgar could be.

The Sneasel watched the human carefully as it moved, a low growl coming from his lips. Why was it getting low to the ground? To start an attack?! With a hiss, the Dark Claw Pokemon dropped into an attack stance, ready for battle. It seemed he might let Altair go, but from the way he swung his claws, if the student pushed, there would be a fight.
Unfortunately for dear Nim, her attempts at flight would lead her straight into a fight. Charging through the snow would cause her to stumble into a hole in the ground, her foot stomping on the poor creature inside. Though her foot got out free, it would be followed by an exceedingly angry looking Sandshrew. Whether Nim liked it or not, it seemed she was in for her very first fight in the wild!
A wild Pokemon, even angry however, was wary. It knew it was never going to be the fastest, and so it would merely bar the way.
[[;^; why must you kill]] ((9+5)-3)+(11-6) = 16 x 2 = 26 DMG! Smoochum is at -12 HP Umbra gains 28 EXP! 79/100 EXP
Umbra's hit had connected, and sent the Smoochum flying back. It was all too much for her. The brutality, the excitement, the rejection-- between the powerful hit and the shock to her system, she immediately passed out from a heart attack. This left her body lying in the snow, bruise but not as bloodied as the Bunnelby. Alas, love sometimes dies.
">WOWZERS!<" The Cherubi exclaimed ">What kinda Pokemon could have dropped you off? It musta been HUGE! N' it was probably all like nyoooooom~!<" The Grass-type chattered excitedly, giggling it as it wobbled back and forth. It didn't seem like this Pokemon was after anything, it just saw something interesting and went for it!

Once more Sol would bemoan his lack of a sharp object. As fun as ripping the lips off someone sounded, it wasn't particularly good at keeping said lips intact. Oh well, at least they were getting strong....and it was telling him what sort of tools he needed for future collection.

Lets see he'd need a knife...or something sharp....and ice, something to keep limbs and organs cold during transport. A cooler would probably help too. Oh and a towel. Blood n' all. Man corpse harvesting was such difficult work when you had to do it under supplied....
So it was with these thoughts Sol continued on.

There'd be no reasoning with him. A pity, but if wild pokemon were that friendly everyone would be a trainer. He stood up straight now, proud and tall, and dug into the inside of his collar.
He'd waste no time yanking Deneb out of the safety of his clothes. "Subdue him" was the only command he'd give as he held the cutiefly out before flicking him towards the opposing pokemon.
Deneb just barely avoided hitting the snow. Beating his little wings as fast as he could, he buzzed frantically up, down, and side to side as he tried to regain his balance. The cold mountains were not meant for flying in, and he'd have plenty of time to cry about being thrown into another fight after he was in control of himself again.
Trafalgar nodded as he listened to the two Pokemon interact.
/The Pokemon that dropped us off was a Noctowl. Maybe you've seen one before? I guess it was...pretty huge!/ Compared to Trust's little size, the Noctowl had been rather large. /But yep, that's how we ended up here. We're on a mission. We're suppose to rescue a lost worker./ Trust responded to the bubbly Cherry Pokemon.

THUMP
Nim landed facefirst in yet another snowbank as she tripped. "Can't see anything in this razzing frazzing snow," she grumbled as she got back up, struggling to yank her foot out of a hole. She flipped herself into a sitting position, intend on testing her ankle for a sprain when she noticed the Sandshrew. Wow were those beady little eyes creepy. Admittedly, she wouldn't be happy if someone stepped on her... but creepy. And those claws were worrying. She shivered, both from the cold and fear. "Okay, okay, I'm going, I'm going," she muttered, crawling slowly backwards. Well, she'd just have to tell her professor she couldn't complete the miss--
Eins to the rescue! The strange little ghost wasn't hampered by a ground or a fear of Pokemon, so she'd bustled right along until she noticed something had trapped her trainer. And unlike her Nim, she was completely ready for a fight. /EXECUTION!/ trilled the Mimikyu, slicing her shadowy tentacles in an X-Scissor!

The Sneasel narrowed his eyes. Air support! The fiend couldn't match him on the ground, so he was calling in backup from the skies! Admittedly tiny back-up, but in his paranoid and cautious state, he didn't discriminate. All threats deserved the same treatment: the chompers. The Sneasel jumped into the air, snapping his teeth at Deneb in an attempt to Crunch him like a midnight snack.
The traveling salesboy would come across an oddly peaceful sight: a Sneasel building figures out of snow and ice. The dual-typed Pokemon worked carefully, making sure to capture all the details of his subjects-- the soft curve of a Swinub, the craters of a Roggenrola, the swirl of a Vanillite, all etched in ice and packe with snow. The glimmered in the faint sunlight, a surprisingly serene and lovely picture.
Until the Sneasel suddenly began to slash at this creations, yelling wildly. Well, everyone had their ways of dealing with stress. The point was, the Pokemon wasn't paying even the slightest bit of attention to Sol.
">Worker? What's that? Is it like a Combee? I've heard of those! Always buzzing around doing the pollen-thingy! Mama said one day they just aaaaaall disappeared though! Apparently some big scary yellow monsters destroyed the place they lived and built evil homes for themselves! Big scary bright things!<" The Cherubi said, still wobbling from all the excitement. Clearly it at least was having the time of it's life!
