At least Caroline had figured out a solution to the problem of delivering the keycard by prying it lose, something Lucky hadn't even dared to try. Lucky wasted no time in dropping the severed hand beside its former owner the first chance he got. Caroline could hang on to the dead man's keycard until they came across Mark. "Mark!?" He was baffled. He'd been pretty convinced Charlotte's interference had been Mark's death sentence. He rushed over and pulled out a roll of runic bandages, awkwardly waiting for Mark to be done dramatizing his injuries. "How are you still alive? I thought - well - you know -"
Lucky made a vague gesture with the runic bandage roll. He didn't want to say he thought Charlotte killed him, but... he thought Charlotte killed him.
