A Krabby wouldn't particularly like Aile running around in its territory, making the chase a three creature train for a little while.

Finally, Aile would catch up to Eisley, giving the mole a small whack on the back of his head. "Eisley! Seriously, don't run off like that here. I don't need to lose you as well."

"Exca..."

"Now, where- huh? What is this thing?" Aile poked the Pyukumuku, tilting her head. "Uh-huh.... Um..." Looking around, Aile would then pick up the creature and toss it back into the ocean, tilting her head. "One strange place... Come on, Eisley. And don't think I've forgotten about my disk." She would press down her hat once more and continue of, Eisley grumbling along the way.

A magikarp would splash out of the water, Eisley looking at it hungrily. "Come on, Eisley, that would be hard to roast right now..."

Another Magikarp would splash out again, and AIle wouldn't pay it any mind, dragging Eisley along and he tried to go after this one too.

Staryu would show up, but Aile would only give it a cursory glance, moving on quickly.

A Mareanie would show up, causing Aile to tilt her head. "Right.... No thank you, even though you look like a vicious little brat."

Another Goldeen would splash out of the water, looking fairly annoyed now that there were multiple people disturbing its home.

A Stunfisk would show up. Aile would shake her head and move on. The derpy looking Pokémon was not for her, she felt.

This may have been my fault in Cubchoo's inexperience. Before now, the most I done was have it battle with the likes of Torchic, Mudkip, or a couple of Tristen's Pokemon. It's not used to this. I'd have to take it out more often, I suppose. It's about the only other way I can think of. Not all Pokemon can be trained the same ways. Similar, sure, but not completely the same. They take their own experiences differently. It was a thought that I had to muse on as we continued through the island forest.

Cubchoo ended up stopping following for a moment, taking notice to a Cutiefly that was buzzing about, but once he started to realize he was falling behind, he rushed off back towards me.

I combed a good part of the island forest by now, I'd think. I was beginning to believe that there wasn't all that much going for this place. Youngoos, Cutieflies there...maybe the occasional oddity such as the Venonats and those variant Rattatas...can't really forget about the Passimian, though...my head still hurts from where he lobbed that thing at my head. Freakin' monkey got an arm. Something that I reminded myself where I rubbed the spot on the back of my head where he nailed me.

Case in point, another Yungoos...who knows, it might be the same one...come to thinking of it. ".......?" I took a look around the area then looked back down towards my Cubchoo. With the innocent eyes and the long dangling clear snot hanging from its nose, it stares at me in confusion. "...am I going in circles in this place?"

I contemplated where the heck I was in this island forest for a second. I was beginning to believe the reason why I kept seeing the same Pokemon was not because of any sort of nest nearby...I was going in circles. "It's official, I think I'm navigationally challenged. Suddenly realizing why Freth always demands to lead the way whenever we went on vacations." I lamented to myself. "No...this can't be it...I don't even recognize the area...I'd swear, you know what?" I then walked over a short ways and marked a nearby tree. Let's see how crazy I was getting.

As I was making an icicle in my hands, I was dead set in making a hard mark in the tree, carving a big enough shape. A diamond of sorts. Something familiar. Cubchoo was just staring at me, looking at my proverbial work of art, then noticed something. "Cub...chaa?" There was something in another tree, perched. It was a large brown mass, it seemed, something odd, though. "Chaaa?" The mass's head then turned 180 degrees, giving a hoot. Just the fact that this thing's head turned like it did freaked the little bear out. "CHAA!? Cubchaa! Cubchaaa!" The bear practically started hugging the leg now, which unfortunately, that meant a pair of pants was officially going into the wash...probably immediately.

"GAH! Cubchoo! UGH! Your nose! Seriously! Come on!"

"Cubchaa! CUBCHAAA!"

"What!?" I then looked over, seeing what the bear was pointing at. "...the hell are...wait, aren't you one of those..." I said, taking out of my SNAG, now ignoring the now massive damp spot on the pants leg. "Rowlet? Hmmmm...I...think...I may have found me a mark..."

"CHA!?"

"Yea, I think I may have found me one for the road...alright then, let's pick a fight with-" I then looked up, seeing the owl no longer in the tree. "...it?" I then quickly looked around, seeing it starting to fly off. "Oh hell no you don't, Cubchoo! Come on!" I shouted, giving pursuit to the bird.

The Cubchoo was stumbling a bit, trying to keep up with me, while I was trying to keep sights on the owl. "Cubchoo! Come on! This is your break!"

"Cub-chaaaa!" The bear shouted in reply. Things gotten way too sudden, way too fast for its liking.

"Cubchoo! Use Icy wind! Bring that thing down!" I called out.

"Cub-CHAA!" The bear howled out, unleashing the biting gale upon the grassy bird. The winds caught under the birds wings which stung quite fiercely. The bird had no choice but to land. The Rowlet with a hard, frustrated coo shook itself, its feathers puffing up every which way, the bird trying to get warm and fast.

"Nice work, Cubchoo!" I stopped and allowed Cubchoo to get ahead of me. "Get in there!"

The owl turned its head 180 degrees, seeing Cubchoo coming forth, then made a rather eerie howl for a bird its size. It hopped, turning its body 180 degrees to make it line up with its head, then hopped once more, unleashing a whole flurry of leaves. The leaves pelted the Cubchoo, making him tumble back, but, the funny part about it...that...didn't look like any sort of an attack I've ever seen before. I took a look at the leaves it fired...they weren't sharp by any means, or gave any sort of an aura...so that ruled out Razor Leaf or Magical Leaf...and considering Cubchoo was managing to get back up, it wasn't exactly the strongest of attacks. Fine then, might as well try to capitalize.

"Cubchoo! Get in close! Slash attack!" I called out.

"Cubcha!? Cubcha!" The bear then called out. It was in a panic, trying to make sure it was doing everything it was told right, rushing frantically after the bird. The Rowlet kicked off the ground, trying to avoid the bear and managed to get off the ground and airborne again, leaving Cubchoo to swipe at air frantically trying to reach the bird. At this point, the Rowlet was almost mocking the poor icy bear.

The Rowlet then rushed down, practically divebombing the bear, ramming into the Cubchoo with a full on Tackle attack, sending Cubchoo off and making the bear hit the ground and eat some dirt.

"Cubchoo! Relax already! This isn't getting you anywhere!" I said. This bear was freakin' nervous, stressed, his first battle that wasn't inside the headquarters for a change. "Now! Deep breath." The notion kinda went over his head. "CUBCHOO! Seriously, take a deep breath!" You could hear it, a deep breath out of the bear, although it was kind of fast. "Now, ready yourself. Powder Snow!" I called out.

The bear gave another deep breath, then one more, though this one it was to unleash its snow flurry upon the bird to once again knock it out of the air. "See! That's what happens when you keep your head in the game! You can do this." The bird shook off the snow, getting rather agitated now. "Hang on, here it comes!"

The Rowlet howled out, rushing forward once again, kicking off the ground then started scratching with its talons and started pecking away, almost like the Spearow's Fury attack from earlier. If I didn't know better, I'd say that what it was. The Cubchoo frantically cried out, trying to protect its face and head as it needles the bear with its attacks, stepping backwards leaving the Rowlet to press its advantage. "Cubchoo, you have to break through! It's right there! Slash attack!" I then called out.

The Cubchoo stopped, stomping its foot and dug its tiny foot into the ground. "CHAA!" It brought out its arm, claws out then gave one hard slash upon the bird, driving the bird back with fury. "Nice work! There you go! Now you're taking a bit of a level in B.A.! Don't get complacent though!" The slash attack left the Rowlet reeling quite a bit, cringing from such a hard strike. "You know...I may just...go for it..." I said, taking out a Great Ball from the ball pocket. "I don't have many shots at this...please work..." I said. I gave the Great Ball a hard toss right for the bird...

The ball ensnares the Pokemon, and in it went. Cubchoo and I stared at the ball intently as the device shook furiously. The Rowlet apparently didn't want this fight go unresolved. "...stay in..." A shake. Another shake. Yet another shake...then finally, the click that echoed through both of our ears. I stepped forward to the Great Ball and picked it up and looked at it for a moment, then walked back towards Cubchoo and held the ball up to him. "You did that. Good work."

"Cub...Cubchaa." It...actually did a good job.

Aile and Eisley watched as a female Salandit was trying to attract males to her, her pheromones going out wildly. Thing of it was, it was working a bit too well and the Excadrill was startiing to move forwards. "No, Eisley, come on. I doubt she's your type."

A Mareanie again. "Um, Eisley, didn't we see this thing before?"

"Ex ca...."

"Right... I don't think it likes us that well. Let's go now...." The two would hurry off as the Mareanie started to chase them.

[Side Area A – Beach]

Near the water, Amaranth could spot... something. She wasn't sure of what it was or what was trailing behind it, but chances were that it wasn't going to be wise to find out. The Mareanie would be left alone without a second thought as she went to another part of the beach for safety.
