 Light came back the next day and decided to stand in the long queue to give a gift to the doe. He beamed very contently and hummed the entire time he had to wait. when it was his turn, he bowed and drop the ring of roses from his neck to hers.

Traveler decided to take a little bit of a chance, as he had last time, by bringing Hold a small sprig of holly that smelled rather pleasant.
He was sadly unsuccessful.

While digging, We Break had found the snapdragon that he'd been wearing a few weeks ago. It wasn't in pristine condition - but this was charity, and the doe was supposedly very generous in her evaluation of gifts.
He came away with a token and a self-satisfied smirk.

"Hey, hey, I brought you something good today!" Steam had remembered the booth, and when he returned the next day he actually brought something purposeful for a gift - at least for this one! It was a pretty, white stone, worn into an exceptionally smooth, polished state by sand and erosion. He'd found it ages ago, but he didn't really do anything with pretty things - so why not give it away?

heart Roll 1D6 if you've chosen to try your luck with Hold. If you roll a 1 or a 6 you get 2 tokens, everything else is 0 tokens. Light was determined to persuade the buck today, he noticed the short line and soon enough, it became his turn. what do you want? the buck grumbled. Gathering his courage, Light went up real close to him and threw the ring of flowers from his own neck onto his. "I WANT YOU TO HAVE THIS AND LIKE IT AND SMILE!" he shouted out loud.

EJB decided that it was best to stand on the doe's line and avoid the buck this time. Her gift would be a nice turtle shell full of nuts and berries if she ever got to the end of this queue.

Sunset Showers had found something that she thought was interesting, but she doubted that anyone else would care. Still, it was worth a shot. She was shy enough to follow the longer line of what seemed like guaranteed acceptance. Once she reached Speak Your Mind, she dropped the rather large, single sheet of bark in the shape of a leaf in front of the doe. She watched her curiously, giving a tentative smile. "Isn't it lovely?" Once she received her token, she gave an appreciative nod and stepped aside to let the others through.Quote: If you want a guaranteed 1 token from Speak then get into line, and wait your turn till she can see what item you're giving her and can give you a token in return!

Ghost approached the grumpy buck, setting down flowers that had been dipped in a scented and colored bath of water. He seemed satisfied with it and she took no time in scurrying away.

"These bones have been picked clean," announced We Break triumphantly. "Look how white they are. Much better than butterfly wings," he added. It seemed like this was a point of contention somehow.

Land approached the buck with a turtle shell he'd found earlier in the day in hopes of trading it, only to be turned away. He shrugged and trotted off with it.

 ( darkcyan ) Fish Bones waited in line all evening and well into the night. He wondered if he'd be sent back to return tomorrow it was so late. But finally he got to see the doe. He set down his basket, strips of grasses loosely woven, colors lending a sort of sunset feeling to it, going from bottom to top. Inside the basket was nestled a small turtle shell, and inside that were a variety of colorful river rocks. "It's for carrying things around, even small amounts of water." he explains, smiling at her as he collects his token and heads off.

Seven Steps Back waited patiently, after making sure the buck who'd refused him a few days ago was watching him, and handed the doe his gift. It was a pine cone attached to a braided grass lanyard. It was meant to hang elegantly around your neck and, while he wished he could have given one to the buck too, felt it suited the doe rather nicely. The buck would have probably refused it anyway!

Light had carefully picked out a branch full or ripe berries. Hoping that she will like it. "It's pretty and edible," he said to her when it was finally his turn.
