The blast knocked the sword clean out of her hands. The vibration from the attack causing her hands to sting in pain. Things seemed hopeless yet again, there wasn't enough time to run and grab the sword without exposing her back to a blast, but perhaps there was something else she could do.
She reached inside her pocket, pulling out the stone she had been given earlier and glimpsing at the queen through the hole in the middle. This was a last ditch effort to figure something, anything out. Either that or the entire act would hopefully distract the queen.

Mara took another step forward, then paused and stared at Syth with a dwindling patience for this. "......what the hell is that?.. who gave that to you??......" she asked then sighed. "What did she tell you... why are you so invested in her...? I don't understand." she seemed perplexed why a stranger was doing all this. She appeared hesitant but then shook her head, ready to throw another blast if this horned girl really was so persistent to help Alice.
Syth would have not seen anything much different. There was nothing out of the ordinary about Mara.
Tri wrestled out of Alice's grasp and grunted as he took a swing.
Alice blocked his swing and grabbed his wrist, trying to throw him.
Tri let himself be pulled and thrown to an extent before he bent and planted his feet as he used his momentum to pull a Alice off balance and turn the tables into throwing her into the ground hard.
Alice yelped again loudly, pain surging through her body. She was trying to get up again but it hurt so much to move.
"Surrender." Tri spoke, a harsh hiss as he moved to grab her and pull her into a head lock, trying to put enough pressure to cut off her airway long enough, attempting to knock her unconscious.
Mara glared at Alice but looked to Syth. "...last chance."

Syth could only remain silent as she gritted her own teeth. She didn't have enough time to try to save Alice right now. Not without exposing her own back to the Red Queen and opening herself up to eat the floor. She could grab the sword and try to make a move.
She reached to grab the sword. Taking it within two hands and forcing the tip of the blade towards Mara's own abdomen. She wasn't going to surrender, there was no other option.

Mara hesitated, stepping forward and reaching out to try to stop Syth but hadn't anticipated Syth to turn and stab her through with the sword. She stared in disbelief and frowned at her own failure.
Tri's eyes widened in horror. "No!" he yelled.
Mara looked up with fading eyes. "...my king... run and.. protect the yourself..."
Tri seemed conflicted then let go of Alice and took off for the doors, running inside to the next room and trying to shut the door behind him quickly.
Mara smiled sadly as she saw him run into the next room then sighed. "...I'm sorry... my queen.." she muttered softly and collapsed dead on the floor.
Alice was already running after Tri, brute forcing her way into the next room.
In the next room, was the throne room, where a woman in a red ball gown stood with a worried look. Tri was already dead just inside the room, not having made it to the queen before he met his untimely demise. The red queen looked exactly like Alice, backing up as the blue-dressed Alice that Syth had been with approached fast and grabbed the red queen, and forced her arms behind her then shoved her down. "What a sick joke, impersonating me... you think that's going to fool her... we aren't even dressed the same, idiot!" Alice hissed. "You can't prey on pity anymore. We kill you, and I can finally go home..."
The red queen frowned, trying to break free but didn't have the strength. "....please don't... Alice, you need help..."
"Shutup! I'm tired of these lies! Making me think I'm crazy when I just want to go back to the surface where I belong. I'm not your prisoner any longer!!" Alice looked to Syth. "Syth.... you have the sword.... kill her. Kill her so we can finally go home..."fiye Please roll a D20 in your response.

With one simple motion she had managed to defeat the Red Queen. A deep sigh escaping her as relief washed over as she believed the entire ordeal was over. Or at least, that's what she believed for a brief few moments before her king ran off into the Throne room. The doors shutting with a loud bang before hearing Mara mutter those last words. She drew the sword back in a quick motion. Using Mara's dress to wipe up the mess she had made.
"Alice wait!" She shouted, trying to communicate to her as she ran off to catch up to the other before pausing. A loud groan escaping her as the doppleganger nickname she had given her became a reality right in front of her own eyes.
Still, she couldn't stay sure. Relief was in front of her but she wanted to look through the stone she had been given. Something itched in the back of her head and she needed to be one hundred percent sure this was useful for something.

Alice watched Syth move for the stone, finally seeing it for the first time. "Wh-who gave you that?!" she demanded the answer. "What are you waiting for? Kill her!"
Looking through the stone, Syth would see that there was nothing out of the ordinary about the Red Queen. But the Alice she had been with, however, looked completely different. She looked like a tan-skinned woman with yellow eyes, red hair, horns, and tattoos lining her body. This person was not Alice in the least.
Alice hesitated then moved to grab the sword from Syth. At least getting her hands on the sword, but not a good grip, she struggled for the sword.
The Red Queen backed up the moment Alice let go of her. "Please don't kill me... you don't understand... Alice is very sick.... If you would just listen, I could explain it..."
"Shutup! Just shutup!! I will no longer be your prisoner!!" Alice shouted, trying to get the sword wrestled from Syth.

This could've saved her a lot of trouble earlier on. And she wouldn't have had to have murdered someone needlessly. Her chest felt heavy about her last actions but she took a deep breath trying to calm herself down. Yet her attempt to calm herself down would only last for a moment as the demonic being that had been with her the entire time reached for her sword.
Her focus moved back to the Alice she had been with from the beginning. Glaring at her as she used her foot to kick her back, to create a little bit of distance and hoping end her attempt at claiming the sword.
She wasn't sure what she was going to do next. It wasn't like she could tell the Red Queen her intentions anyway.

Alice was caught off guard by the sudden change in Syth, being kicked back, but not before grabbing the Red Queen and keeping her the closest. "She's gotten inside your head too, hasn't she... turned you against me..." she spoke bitterly. "I got you all the way here just for to falter now..... "
The Red Queen frowned. "...alice... please listen, we have told you that you can't go because you aren't apart of the surface world... your mind has warped your thinking...that we are your enemy but-.."
"I said shut up!!" Alice a pulled a knife and put it to the Red Queens throat, using her as a shield to prevent Syth from attacking her. "This may not kill you, but it will sure as hell hurt a lot, queen."
The red queen winced as the blade pressed agaisnt her throat. But she took a deep breath and smiled sadly at Syth. "Just do what you must... you already know my fate in all this, don't you..."fiye There is no need to roll in your response.

"You're still wearing the earring! You're the only one who's talked to me this entire time!" She cried out hoping to buy herself some time. For some reason this doppleganger was still being called Alice by the Red Queen. Still paralyzed by the decision of what to do. Wait too long and Alice could have her throat slit and it wasn't like she wasn't eager enough to get it over with already. She had killed any possible help she could've had and she didn't have any of her actual power to help.
She took a gulp, trying to put together words to say.
"Let her go. I promise you won't enter the surface world with her dead."

The Red Queen frowned as Syth said nothing and made no moves.
Alice narrowed her eyes. "Then why are you stopping now. The entire purpose was to come here to kill her and now you hesitate. You can't trust her just because she looks like me.... The only way out is to get the masks from the cheshire which is nigh impossible,... or to kill the queen." she explain, desperation and anger in her voice. "What am I supposed to think when you're there when I wake up.... you help me get all the way to the queen just to seemingly side with her..... please tell me you weren't an informant all along..." she half-begged, eyes starting to water as she kept the blade against the Red Queen's throat. "If you can't kill her because she looks like the girl you knew in the surface world... then give me the sword... I'll do it."
The Red Queen was calm but her shaking hands showed her fear in all this. She was conflicted between trying to say more to convince this outsider, but then there was the risk that Alice would kill her right here and now."....please understand..." she addressed Syth. "You can see it too... she's not the same as us... it's because she's sick... plagued and we can help her if she would just calm down and stay with us."
"Shutup! Stop talking to her! You just want to keep me a prisoner forever!"
"We want you to get better... if you were better, you could leave..." The Red Queen frowned, then stared at Syth. "...you're not from here, and we can't stop you from leaving. In fact, you could leave right now... just put down the sword. Don't let Alice do this to herself. She can be saved. And you can simply go home."

'You know I'm not an informant! Its not like we've had our minds linked together from the very start of this. Its just...' She paused on her own words, still unsure of what move to exactly make. She trusted the stone to have shown the truth. That the Alice she had known and had been talking to wasn't truly Alice. But then why would she have sought her out. Why would she have known her? Why go through all the effort to make it here, slay most of the citizens of this castle, and then have her kill the possibly real Alice to get out.
Of course it didn't help that talking to the Red Queen was something that was currently impossible. Would Alice listen to the request without hesitation?
'Alice, She started, taking the time to come up with the right words, 'I want to talk to the Red Queen.' She asked relatively coldly. Her mind and body still worked up from the fighting it took to just get here. Her grip remained tight on the sword even if she wasn't about to leap into action.
Internally she felt she could still trust Alice more so than the Red Queen. If she was her why hadn't she gone out of her way to reveal who she was. Not to mention the idea Alice could be saved. Saved from what? For all she knew she was dealing with two copies of a dead wife, one of whom seemed to be a demon with a glamour of some sort.
What even was this place?

Alice looked to Syth as if she couldn't believe her request. "Talk to her? What, do you not believe me??" she asked, a certain pain in her eyes like she had been betrayed. "What could you possibly want to hear of her lies that has you so intrigued that you won't kill her so we can get out of this place. Remember the tea party? She had those people killed! She's not a good person, she's not innocent, she is evil and will keep us here forever if you let her live!" she exclaimed, keeping the knife pressed against the Red Queen's throat.
The Red Queen frowned but said nothing, waiting to see if Alice would comply to the request with some coercing from Syth.

'And do you not trust me?' She responded back with quite the bite as Alice continued to hold the Red Queen hostage. She wasn't concerned with Alice hurting the Red Queen. If that had been her goal Alice would have already done it and they would have been over with it. She's have to finish it with the sword in her hands.
'Or better yet. Why haven't you ended her yourself?' She goaded on. 'You wouldn't want to keep us here longer right?'
Perhaps it was a bit hypocritical of herself to be turning on Alice so fast like this. Considering when they had gotten here she was the one to have charged head first into fighting back everyone. But something about what she was in that stone made her question what she was doing here.
