★ A user who obtains all their kin from the CS had them listed up. She came back to find the kin were sold and then the trading pass for her account was disabled. The email she got said that something on her account was obtained illegally, leaving the only source it could have been was the gold from the user behind the mass buy up. So even if it was an MP purchase, any transactions through the account behind the buy up have been frozen until it is sorted out it seems.

Bunni-tan Oh God, yeah; the a** kissing (mainly from guys) was very cringe-worthy. rofl Those who've done business with her are in a world of hurt now. lol Oh, yeah that was funny. xd Glad I read it before the thread got deleted. xP On the bright side, 26b is relatively easy to get back nowadays. lol Doubt I'll do business with him since I brought my BGT from him. But that was a month ago before the fiasco hit. >.>; Eh, I'm not upset about losing 26B. Like, I said, I got entertained. It was worth it and the half-orc deserves the reward. LOL

Jisen Meizuki Doubt I'll do business with him since I brought my BGT from him. But that was a month ago before the fiasco hit. >.>; Eh, I'm not upset about losing 26B. Like, I said, I got entertained. It was worth it and the half-orc deserves the reward. LOL Mm, yeah. I'm hoping now that this whole fiasco gets taken care of quickly and we never have to go through this much insanity ever again. lol lol Yeah fair enough. whee

Sinfulcraft Letting everyone know right now, I'll be removing this topic after this all blows over. Granted no one is name dropping and such, but it doesn't hurt to be careful. At least it looks like it is being dealt with to an extent.. So that's good. That's smart and probably for the best. And the story of a troll playing at being a goddess will be lost to memory

Sinfulcraft Letting everyone know right now, I'll be removing this topic after this all blows over. Granted no one is name dropping and such, but it doesn't hurt to be careful. At least it looks like it is being dealt with to an extent.. So that's good. As OP of this thread, I'm okay with this. I just wanted to to see if you guys knew something about what was happening. The fishy smell had been too much. I may have mentioned this may have been related to that Switchem exploit this mule was posting days ago. Now we get the alert that the game SAS taken down. Probably not a coincidence at all. I just wish the mods acted a little bit faster. Could have averted this act of economic terrorism.

Alright. I don't think I need to take the thread down yet. As there wasn't really any posting of names or any of that stuff. So I think it's safe for now. >.<; Would have been nice if they had acted sooner. So much could have been avoided like you said. Hopefully all the innocent people that got tied up in this can get their stuff back and trading passes enabled soon.

I said this before in another thread. Consider it happened at nighttime where it was after business hours and the staff were at home, we can't blame them for not acting immediately since the servers were in the office headquarter. However late than nothing. If Gaia claims the gold was legit and let it go, economy would have been worse.
Glad I emptied my shop when it happened. I know she was only after the kins. But seeing how she brought the Bridal Legs at high price, I knew that sooner or later she would go for high price items. Thank goodness my trade isn't disabled.

Maybe I'm just paranoid but did the admins cancel the AtS because they are scrambling to repair the economic damage done by said person and similar others? I heard some of the kins were dumped in the DD.

Like she traded/bought from people, who used the gold they got from her or items and traded other people.. It's definitely a chain reaction. The tainted gold was used to buy the kin and then those who got the gold bought stuff without realizing it was tainted. Gaia has had to disable the trading passes of anyone who has the tainted gold, which appears to be quite a lot since some of them made purchases before Gaia realized what was happening.

Unless they were scouting the marketplace, I don't think they could have caught this as fast as some would have hoped. If they did decide to cancel the AtS because of this, it at least allows them more time to get facts straight and decisions made.

As others have said, it happened at night and also during the weekend when staff were probably at home, so if the mod had maybe sent information on to the others, it may not have been seen until too late especially since they probably had other emails and messages waiting for them when they got back to the office. It's a terrible mess, and if they didn't have preventive procedures set up, I hope they'll be setting them up for the future. I'm a little surprised that some of the expensive kins weren't quickly soulbound to prevent purchases and sales.

My mule had its trading pass disabled because the person bought my Fafnir Splicing Shard Bundle from the MP. I hope I get the shard back, kinda regret selling it.
