Jaro was also sleepy and probably had five times the amount of Aodh. He'd been possibly throwing a personal tantrum when the other was on his date. "Should've made you as a mermaid." He chuckled, "That would have been funny. Not merman. Mermaid. Boobs and all."

Aodh made a face. "Pass. No genderbent mermaid Aodhan, please." He was a gay male, thankyouverymuch.

"But genderbends are all the rage right now.." Jaro had rolled a bit to look up now, no longer curled on his side. Thankfully there was a blanket over the back of the couch he could tug down on himself. "I could probably sell that and say I was making a statement."

When Jaro was tugging on the blanket, Aodh reached to help pull it down. "Don't care. I like me the way I am." Definitely sounding a little petulant and his statement was punctuated with another poke to Jaro's cheek. "Make a statement with claws or make some other statement that is inspired by me that is either male or ... I don't know." He rubbed at his warm face. "Not like I'm inspirational material anyway. I am not a muse."

"I'm also not a real artist anyway.. just a scrap guy." Jaro shrugged and then rolled over again to look at the TV. He was getting sluggish now, tired and wine-soaked. He yawned. "But it's good... I like you the way you are too." Jaro's eyes closed without much thought.

"I don't believe you," Aodh replied, "I think you are or maybe just an artisan. A crafter. You make things with your own hands. They're good things." Wine made him a little too loose lipped and drowsy. His head tilted against the back of the couch. Definitely going to have to rewatch this episode. His eyes blinked back open when he heard Jaro again, watched as the other's eyes closed. Aodhan's fingers were still curled in auburn hair, finding one of the bits that were in it and playing with it. "I like you the way you are too," he whispered back as if it was a secret. Then he let his head go back against the back of the couch and his eyes close.

Aodh would wake up in the morning, the wine it seemed was a bit more potent than he expected, but instead of being uncomfortably folded on Jaro's sofa he was in the man's bedroom. It didn't look much different from the once or twice he'd been sent in there as a teen to retrieve a wallet or some keys. A massive bed with no frame to speak of, covered in pillows and high thread count sheets, surrounded by the baubles and collections of the auburn haired man who kept too many things. Jaro was nowhere in sight but his robe was gone from the hook and the pants he'd worn the night before were on the floor beside the bed. Aodh was in his underwear and the clothes he'd worn the night before were also dropped in one pile on the floor beside his shoes. The clock revealed it to be close to 1pm and the burgundy curtains with the sun behind them set a rosey tint to the light of the room.

Aodh woke up in stages. Fingers curled in a warm spot that had faded. He went to stretch like he normally would, only to stop himself with a half-awake chuckle of pain. It took several minutes of laying there, half awake, for his brain to catch up and tell him that he was not in his own bed. That this place smelled like Jaro and the sheets were way too nice for his own bed and- Jaro's bed?!?!?!He bolted up with a sharp cry that stifled off immediately, arm going around his side. Aodhan squinted bleary eyed at the clock and the time and moved to tug the sheets off and- (blush level over 9000 achieved)Not nude but he might as well have been considering he was just in his boxers. Aodh saw a pile of his clothing and shuffled awkwardly to grab the trousers and slide them on. The shirt was ignored for the moment because he did not want to fight with it, not when his side was feeling like it was. That blush was still there as he appeared out of the bedroom, going to look for Jaro. It dusted his shoulders and the back of his neck, Aodhan rubbing a hand across his face in an effort to really wake up. The wine had been a lot stronger than he realized. Nor was he really going to think about the last thing he remembered or how nice it had been just to sit on the couch. Aodh could do without feeling like a twitterpated teenager but he was definitely feeling it again.

At least it was to be noted that Aodh's clothes were in a pile and not a trail, and nothing was sticky or smelt funny. ALL GOOD SIGNS. The bathroom was accessible from the hall and right next to the bedroom, though not connected. It was damp and smelled nice in passing which meant that Jaro had also showered before the young man had woken. He was in the kitchen sitting at a spread of food in an open robe and low slung patterned pants. Jaro had a fresh cup of dark coffee and was eating meat, cheese, fruit and yogurt though there was something with scrambled eggs and crumbled cheese so he'd at least made some effort to provide breakfast. Seeing Aodh he laughed, "Your shoulders are blushing."

Aodh just gave Jaro a sleepy-eyed stare. A very sleepy-eyed stare. With hair in his eyes it was likely ruined (actually that was the blush that did that). Good smelling Jaro, stronger than the smell in the bedroom, just made the blush worse. It did not fade at all. "Shhhhhh," he told Jaro, pulling a chair out and sitting down at the table to have some of the yogurt. It wasn't like this was the first time he had stayed overnight at some other attractive man's house. Oh, wait. It was. There wasn't even shenanigans.

"Coffee?" Jaro stood up, robe swishing around him. He walked past Aodh and fluffed his hair because it was adorable and he gave no ******** know your parents are going to think you had quite the date." He then chuckled low as he fished for a mug.

Aodh was still not talking, just nodding his head for coffee. Jaro got another sleepy-eyed stare at the hair fluff. Even if he actually liked it. His hair was soft and thick and stupidly fluffy. It was vaguely annoying to Aodh but that was why he kept it short. Longer it likely would not have been as bad. He blinked when Jaro spoke and then slowly lowered his head to the table with a quiet thunk. Once, then twice, and then he just let out a muffled annoyed sigh. "He's not even my type," was barely heard.

Jaro took down a mug that looked like a little kid made it. There was some sort of abstract looking monster with another grey figure. It looked like a monster fighting a knight, if only because they had talked about it the night before. He thought a second and just sort of winged it on fixing the coffee, a bit of sugar and just a splash of cream so it wasn't black. It was set down in front of Aodh after he topped his own off and sat down again. "And what is your type?" No he didn't look smugly nosey at all.

Aodh did not pay any attention to the cup, though if he had he definitely would have thought about a knight fighting a monster. His fingers closed around the warm mug, taking a sip and making a small appreciative noise. There really was no particular way he preferred his coffee so long as it was coffee. Which lead to a near sputter, choke when Jaro asked what his type was.

Jaro laughed incredulously, "What?!" He shook his head and munched some food, "You act like it's some odd question for me to ask. This is what people do Aodh." He shook his head. "Would you prefer I comment on the New England weather or perhaps who you voted for?"
