"Eh...??" The punches stopped, Kyosuke finding it fun to keep his rhythm going while he bounced his head side to side a bit. "You're just standing there? What's the fun in that?" He gave her a moment to respond before stepping in and throwing a snap kick with his front leg.
The door would lead to a dark room full of jars. Each of them had their own smell, and peering inside would only yield the sight of a bland powder. This powder was the same color of sawdust in all the jars, so it would be no help. In the center of the room was a statue of a fat man with an incredibly large nose and outstretched palms.
"I... I think we have to do something with that guy..." Said Vetta being the helpful Zora she was.

Not exciting enough, perhaps? Interesting... Then he came here for his entertainment? Seeking thrill from battle instead of finding it on the field of sports?
She processed this in silence, though her eyes seemed to harden, suggesting that she dropped behind a steel wall. The snap kick, when it came up, was evaded instead of merely blocked this time around. She merely turned, a motion that seemed to suggest dancing instead of fighting. Her back foot pushed from the ground and she turned herself perpendicular to her opponent, which moved her out of the kick's quick zone. Her front knee bent slightly to accommodate the motion. He was very close now.
She leaned forward and brought up her back foot sharply, as though she would drive the side of her foot into the side of his head. Because of the movement, this was an attack generally referred to as a crescent kick. She wanted to test his ability to block. Previously, he moved himself out of range. Either way, she borrowed the capoeira fighting style now.

Kyosuke was able to shift the weight on his front and pivot with Tsuki's movement so that she didn't get away from him too much. It was enough to give him room to block. Instinctively, he lifted a forearm and dipped his head to one side to minimise damage. He stepped back quickly, keeping his feet balanced under him. "Cool move!" He seemed to be enjoying himself, even if Tsuki wasn't. "Show me something else!" Instead of going in again he waited this time. He looked like he was really getting warmed up now.

He adjusted to block the attack instead of panicking. The more they continued and from what she saw, it seemed to be more and more the case that he was here because he was looking for something to entertain him. He was enjoying this skirmish. She would process this later, but this was also the attitude of others that were in the club, and it was not foreign to her.
Tsuki brought the foot down that she had kicked with and with a shift of movement, this foot became the front that she set her weight on. Her lips shifted to allow the hint of a smile.
Leaning on her forward leg, she pivoted again, bringing her back leg forward. She snapped this leg toward his side, and in a blur that was practiced motion, she brought this leg higher, snapping it a second time to aim at the side of his head. Two kicks in a second.

He might not have wished for her to do so after all. It was reflex to block the first kick, which the new boy did effectively, but this second one was a different story. His arms distracted, he couldn't help taking a hit to the head. Dazed, Kyosuke stumbled back. After regaining his balance, he looked ready to come at Tsuki for his turn.
"HO!" But before that could happen Takumi called an end to the round. The other members stood dumbstruck at the two's skills.
"Do you want to continue, Kyosuke-kun?" Said Takumi placing a hand on the new kid's shoulder.
"... No, that's alright," his smirk replied. "I know when to call it quits. Now it's time to practice for the next match." He wouldn't take his eyes off Tsuki the entire time, giving a bow and then heading over to a free area to practice some of the drills Takumi'd taught him.
"Were you... Smiling?" Takumi couldn't blink enough. "... Ah! Um... Never mind. It's just, well, I haven't seen you use that move since you first got here."

Tsuki recoiled and set her feet evenly on the floor as the match was called. She knew that now that this speed and technique had been shown that it would be practiced for. It was quite possible that this new student would adapt to it, and she understood the threat that he could become better than herself. If he tried. That would be in his court, however, and given the interaction of their match, she had a feeling that this wouldn't be the last time they exchanged blows.
A person's personality, and who they were, shone best in exertion and in action. Instinct in motion showed whether someone was a coward, prone to fits of anger, or if they reveled in the experience, to challenge themselves, or to do something different.
Even in the club, there were few that really went into a sparring match with no expectation, wishing simply to enjoy the fight. Yet, he seemed determined to find a way to win. She was intrigued and curious. That was the motivation that made a person improve and get better. She bowed to her opponent as he took his leave.
Her expression returned to normal just before Takumi mentioned it. An eyebrow raised in curiosity, but he shook off his question. He hadn't seen the double-kick? Well... perhaps not from her. It was true, there were some moves she didn't practice in the classroom. If you were afraid of knocking over a punching bag, you didn't follow through as you should.
"I wasn't sure if it was practical to use in a sparring match." Clearly, though, it had its uses as a feint. She would keep that in mind. Though, this was something she spent a lot of time practicing while she was at home. ... In the moments when she was at home.

"You whaa??" Poor Takumi almost fell over from the shock of such a statement... For some reason. Practical? Does that mean she wasn't going to use it unless totally necessary? Is Kyosuke-kun that good?
Shortly after recovering from this surprise Takumi was called away by some newcomers looking to learn what Tsuki just did. They would've asked her themselves, but they were apparently intimidated by her awesome show of power earlier--more so than they already were afraid of her, crossing the line from respect to genuine fear. Meanwhile, Kyosuke wasn't going anywhere, practicing his blocking and shadow boxing when he became bored with that.

After that point, the club meeting went on about as usual. Their time for the room came to an end and the students packed up the equipment, padding, the punching bags, and the few kendo swords that had been used by those who enjoyed that particular form of combat. Tsuki moved from the window to her bag and with a final glance to the field outside, she picked up her belongings and would move from their meeting place to the locker room, where in short order, she would be dressed in normal civilian attire, and be outside again, to patiently wait to ensure everyone important left the school premises safely.
Today had been interesting. The days to follow would probably throw her a few more surprises, but she felt that she might be able to handle those.

(I'm ready to continue, though I'm very curious about what the Zora will be up to.)
Exciting indeed, and it was hardly over. After leaving, the sun now overcome with a soft orange, Tsuki was free to go on her way, home or otherwise. She would of course have to pass by the soccer field to leave, which was great because a certain studmuffin just so happened to still be there practicing. He and Jason had been practicing their formations and patterns and things while Tsuki waited for Kyosuke to get the hint that the place was closing up.
The soccer field, obviously, didn't have such limitations, and so the two star athletes of the school got to hone their skills to maintain their positions. It went without saying that they would take off their shirts to practice. I mean, would you really expect two hunky guys, one who happened to have a feeling someone was watching him practice off and on, in the forge of teamwork known as competition to keep their clothes on?? It was as though he caused jewels to appear; really he just needed something to do to kill time before tonight's operation.
His apartment was empty; it made the shower echo out even more into the night. Katsuro's thought moved with the steam, out the window, into the cold, open future. It excited him too; just as he was brought back to this moment, realising he just stood there, breathing in incredible heat, he inspired again to run a new scenario for himself. This went on until the shower's second threat of running cold on him, at which point he got out and wasted little time getting his things ready.
He had on all black, even those little stylish fingerless gloves and a beanie to match. Slung over his shoulder like an animal pelt was a case with all the necessities: aerosol, infrared camera, an expensive looking mic and headset, etc. He departed in silence from his apartment, leaving a light on in the main room just to give the impression someone might still be up. On his way to the remedial building he would have to pass by Tsuki's place. At such a time it was expected for everything to be quiet, and yet here was Katsuro, running through the streets after a loud crash. Apparently he wasn't always graceful.

Tsuki managed to keep her sighing and swooning to a minimum while watching the practice continue. When the evening procedures and motions had come to their proper conclusion, Tsuki finally turned her course home. Cleansing rituals were seen to, daydreams were allowed and cultivated as she adorned herself in clothes she would comfortably wear around herself, but wouldn't be terribly worried about if she was seen or suddenly met by someone at the door. It wasn't the school-approved uniform, either, which would probably strike some as strange, but she was home. Details of this nature didn't matter.
The school paper was set on her nightstand. She opened a small notebook on the same stand and wrote down what Katsuro-senpai had said earlier in reference to heroism and the memories of the students. After that, she wrote own her impressions and feelings about that statement. She concluded her hope and confidence in his words made it easier to handle the stress and pressure of suddenly becoming a public figure. She looked forward to things returning to normal again.
This record served as her diary, in a way, and she wrote down what she couldn't capture in other means. Words deserved to be cataloged, though she doubted that she would forget them.
Homework was seen to an taken care of. She had no sooner put it aside than she heard what sounded like a crash down the street. Confused and curious, she moved to the closest window and glanced past the curtains. There was a figure, in black, in motion.... running. Why? Tsuki frowned and her eyebrows knit together, which were her only physical reactions. She watched his stranger as he ran... She couldn't quite make out his face until he came closer, and even then, what betrayed his identity to her was his gait and his method of running. Some would argue that people ran the same way. One foot in front of the other, eyes forward, an to a point, they're right. However, the foot one favors while running, how they correct themselves, their postures, their focus, how they held their head.... made people slightly different from each other. Similarities were closest among those who did similar sports. The difference was slight, at best, but still....
Once that connection had been made, the other little pieces that would confirm it for her all lit up in sequence and her expression immediately changed to accommodate this. Then came the confusion.
What was he doing out in the darkness and dressed like a burglar?
She moved quickly from the window and to her room, quickly adorned a thick sweater, picked up a flashlight, and moved out to the front door. Mother and Father were both away, still, and she had the house to herself. She snapped off the lights as she went, though there were not many on to begin with, put on her shoes, and with key in hand, she locked the door behind her, and was out to follow the one she worried so much about. However, respect for him determined that she must not be seen by him, lest she disturb what it was he was doing.

"Seems like it." She looked to all the jars and then the statue in thought. Getting an idea, if the statue was able she would try to put a pot into his arms or putting the powder into his palms

(In the interest of time I'm going to cut right to the chase. Hope it's not too much of a bother for you.)
After a while of trying different powders the two would finally guess right. The golem's eyes opened wide and suddenly, and there was a loud rumble as the exit door fell into a slot on the floor. Never mind how all that must've worked, the important thing here was that they were out of the room now.
After a few more trials like this they were finally at the end of the maze house--or at least the goal. Along the way they passed several couples who were stuck. After pointing them in the direction where they came--as was their only salvation at this point, apparently--they went on their way until they were at the final door. The whole time Vetta seemed to be getting more comfortable around Zana, which was nice.
"I Hope we win a prize..." The door was heavy, and opened slowly with its own momentum after getting started. There in the middle of a bunch of arcane symbols, dust, and generally occult things was a man seated on a slab of rock, waiting.
"Um... Sir? Is this your maze?"
"... I wasn't sure you two would make it all the way." So, yes. "It's good to see there are some bright ones out there yet. ... You two should have more adventures like this. They're so much fun!" As he got up and spun around the room, the out line of a treasure chest would become visible, gradually filling in.
"*gasp* Go open it, Zana!" The wizard nodded, giving a friend smile.
Back on the streets, Hideaki was high-tailing it to the remedial building. Being the kind of athlete he was, running upwards of seven miles with pace per game, he was definitely fast. His full gallop would have been a little loud for the sleeping people, though, and, seeing as he didn't actually want to go to jail tonight, he slowed it down a bit.
It wasn't until he turned a corner and caught a glimpse of a human figure following him that he picked up the pace. He didn't even know it was Tsuki at the time, just the sight of someone; the knowledge of "I've been caught" that went with it, was enough to really light a fire under the prince of Montoya. Here we see Hideaki really kick it into high gear. Tsuki, unfortunately, would be left in the dust.
... Though she wouldn't need to keep up with him to follow the studly manwich to his destination. They were close enough at this point to be able to spot the remedial school off on the horizon. Katsuro, making his last turn before going turbo in that direction, was most definitely headed there.
Upon arrival the prince made no hesitation getting ready. Hopping a fence as though it was some kind of Japanese obstacle show, he was inside the grounds before anyone knew it. Certain not the others anyway. Yes, tonight was one of those rare spectaculars where the entire Montoya media filed in to sneak in and see what could not be seen, if you will, in the now "haunted" halls of the remedial building. Katsuro was so fast in getting in and finding a safe spot that the others, still standing outside the West fence, talking stupidly amongst each other about what the plan was, would be the only humans Tsuki would see when she got there.

So, clearly she wasn't the ninja that some might have believed her to be. She was an adequate and capable fighter, not someone who was able to blend into the shadow. Despite the caution she took not to be seen, she must have been noticed, for he seemed to speed up just enough and turn as though to lose those who were trailing him. Frightened at the prospect of losing him, she tried to speed her course, but it was a bit too late.
What could be done was trying to predict where he was going. At this hour, she couldn't think of any logical place to go.... and yet.... Why did this course lead in the direction of the remedial school? Was that it?
She slowed her pace and finished the rest of the journey at a determined, but calmer walking pace. When she reached her destination, she found others huddled nearby. She stiffened and grimaced before they saw her, and this brief microexpression would be gone by the time they noticed her.
The news club.
She swallowed her feelings and approached the fence. She began to look for a practical way over or around it... or even if he was inside the building. What in the world would bring him here?

"Beats the hell outta your pyramid idea! At least mine's about staying low key..."
"Oh, yeah, and banging through the ventilation system isn't calling attention at all!"
"GRR...!" GRR...!"
This went on for a while, the two lead males of the group of seven or eight adventurers from the news club arguing other the best way to go about the operation--probably scarring the ghost off, if we're being honest--while the females, most notably Ayane and Emi, sat by and played with their hair, texted, and unconsciously grow to hate "the Patriarchy." ... Alright, suppose that last one might've been a stretch, but the ladies definitely weren't as absorbed in the conversation as the fellas, and so were much more aware--and by that I mean at all--of the presence of another.
"Guys, shh! ..." Ayane interrupted.
"And that's why people loved you new font, right? They said it looked like a Rorschach test! I... Huh, what's up?"
"Someone's here... HEY, WHO ARE--MRPPHHMRR!!"
"Are you stupid??" Said Takeda holding back Ayane by the mouth. There was silence, but the group kept looking in the direction of Tsuki, into the dark veil.

Well, being unseen wasn't going to continue. Tsuki lamented, but she was able to accept that sooner rather than later. News of this would probably make it into tomorrow's paper. Probably. Two of them were fighting, the guys, who seemed determined to make it in somehow. It was Tsuki's experience that schools in general weren't immaculately defended or protected against invasion.
Tsuki could already see three different ways to get in. She also didn't see that many security cameras. Besides, what in the world was there to be stolen from this school? Perhaps someone very desperate could take one of the thick block televisions or the old computers, but there wasn't anything here that would turn a profit for the effort, as she recalled. So, the arguing was confusing to her.
The question that now came up, though, was whether to address the crew before attempting to climb the fence, or to excuse herself and lose them? .... Well, Emi and Ayane already found her. It seemed rude to ignore them, as they now had means to control how the school thought of her. She looked back at them, considering in silence as they suddenly fell quiet. Were they worried or holding quiet and still to see what she would do?
She shifted her head slightly, encouraging them to follow, and she began to walk along the fence, until a weak opening was found. There was a tree that could easily be climbed that also went over the fence. Because of how the tree grew, it dented the bottom of the chain-link, pushing it in and warping its path.
Tsuki climbed this tree with a fair amount of ease, and when high enough, she kicked off of the trunk and vaulted into the schoolyard. She flicked her hair over her shoulder and then gathered it together. She tucked it into her sweater and moved the hood over her head. She then proceeded into the schoolyard, in search of the one she followed. There were only so many places he could be.... but why was he here, and what brought him here?
