Caiden was happy as ever as he sniffed the teas. It was all so fresh and flowery smelling. This was what the good life was. He frowned a little, sad about the fact that bloodfest was coming to a close. "Are you gonna be here next sweep?" The brownblood asked the booth owner.

Rastin Morden
Rastin patted his pockets with a satisfied look. They will filled to the brim with packets of tea that he couldn't wait to try when he got home. Of course, he'd need to make sure that he exercised some self-control and didn't drink it all in one week. It shouldn't be too hard, though.
"A discussion group, huh?" He questioned, his brows furrowing. "Uh..."
"Sure, why not? We clearly share a common ground with tea, so I don't really see a reason to decline. I'll leave you with a place we can meet and my mail address. Please feel free to stop by, but only if you bring samples of your tea with you! I'd really like to trade recipes."

"Nice to meet you Adamaz." Tevini mimicked, reaching to shake his hand. It gave her a silly feeling to re-introduce themselves like this after their first meeting but it was nice of him to go through the trouble. It made her feel a bit weird again, to know someone this nice was on the side of the queen. She figured he was just laying low so he wouldn't end up on any chopping blocks, a life that she too would have accepted if she hadn't been forced into the rebel group out of necessity. Basically she felt she couldn't judge him for his loyalties even if they did make her feel bad.
"I'd love some tea." Tea was a thing highbloods liked, right? It'd be awkward if she refused. Even if no one else was paying close attention to them, Tevini felt the need to keep up appearances just in case. She'd heard something about an incident over at the Starlight booth regarding rebel activity and really didn't want any similar incidents to start around her. She wanted to write it off as a rumor but her nerves wouldn't let her.
"So... what have you been up to?" How have you been since we last met, she wanted to ask but they were just now meeting for the first time! Hoping he'd understand, the girl hoped he'd have some information on how normal Alternia was going. Gog it felt like it'd been forever since she'd gotten to be normal.
Wizardy Herbert So sorry to be super late with this! If you'd like their interaction to fade to black that's okay! I just wanted to tag you back since it seemed awkward to end there!

" Uhh. Been good. Mostly drinkin' tea. I don't do much." said Adamaz as he absently made tea. He brewed some the tutti-fruit-tea he had concocted and stuck it into a leafwater screamer provided by the booth, letting it steep. He let it steep, falling rather quiet as he watched the steam curl, imagining the tea shifting color. That was his favorite part about tea. Once it was done, he poured out a mug and handed it to Tevini. " This has been my favorite booth so far. The other one I went to had a pretend murder party, which I didn't appreciate. Bad experiences with murder parties. This one has nice people, and tea and thoughts. How do you like it?"

She didn't know anything about tea, it was a luxury to her to have time to spend on it. Tevini was by no means good at making food or beverages, she tended to just eat things basic. It wasn't that the girl disliked more flavorful things, she just didn't spend time on preparing them. Watching Adamaz work so diligently on his tea was odd but interesting to her. It was clear he found it important to do it right. She watched him in a comfortable silence, content to let him focus on his task. Once he was done, she accepted the mug and took a sip.
"That sounds awful. Why would anyone want to do that?" Tevini frowned at the mention of a pretend murder party. Skittish and easily scared, it sounded like the most stressful booth a troll could prepare! Adamaz mentioned having prior experience with murder parties that caused her to blink in confusion and wonder what antics he'd gotten involved in. This orangeblood was mysterious in how casual he could be about difficult situations.
"This booth seems nice, I agree. The questions are really interesting, I like how they make you think." Tevini admitted, grateful to move onto a more peaceful and safe topic. She truthfully found some of the questions challenging but that didn't mean she disliked them. They just made her have to face things that she hadn't been expecting to face here at a festival. Or in this case, people.
"Thank you for before, by the way. You... you're a nice guy." Her face flushed from attempting to pay someone an honest compliment. She wanted to thank Adamaz for repeatedly helping her when he hadn't had to. Even if they were on opposite sides of this war, he seemed like he'd make a good friend.

Adamaz agreed about why anyone would want to go to a murder, and shrugged – the questions also made Adamaz think pretty hard, so he nodded at that. He sipped his hot tea gingerly, and burned his mouth anyways. Oh well. A conversationalist, Adamaz was not. " Thank you for before, by the way. You... you're a nice guy." Adamaz’s face lit up, both with curiosity and with the sudden realization that he… hadn’t really been complimented by anyone before, except Sascha once or twice. And though he had been thanked before, it was never for something so secret and important to him as his mission in the dark swamp. He paused to process this, and his cheeks reddened. Then he smiled in a moment of clarity. " Before? Sorry, you probably mistook me for someone else. We’ve just met. But you -" he raised his tea cup and clinked it against Tevini’s, " you’re a nice girl yourself." At which point, he took a big slurp from his tea and finished it off, a bit dribbling down his chin.

"No, I-" Tevini stammered in protest before catching herself. She hadn't done anything nice for him to say that but stopped herself from being impolite. He was just being nice.
"Thank you." She murmured with a nod of her head. As he downed his tea, she took a sip of her's to mirror him. Unsure if they were both supposed to be gulping the whole thing down, she tried to copy him with mixed success. It was very hot still, a little painful truthfully, but she didn't want to be rude. She swallowed it down and placed the cup back. The air went quiet again as she contemplated pointing out the dribble on his chin before deciding against it. He'd notice it himself, right? No need to embarrass him by mentioning it.
She settled for another long minute of silence. Neither of them were good at small talk, nor did they have anything left that they needed to say to each other. For Tevini, the unspoken pieces of acceptance were enough. Adamaz's demeanor suggested he was agreeing to let her continue attending the festival in her disguise without reporting her to any of the Royalists lurking around. Relieved, she dabbed at her mouth with her napkin.
"I won't keep you any longer than this, thank you for the tea." It seemed they never spoke for very long before she had to get going. Bowing her head slightly, the girl gathered up her backpack and passed her dishes off to the booth to take care of. Glancing back at Adamaz one more time, she wondered if they'd meet again someday. She was so busy lately with her project and didn't really know anything about the orangeblood.
Setting off back into the night, she hoped they would.
Wizardy Herbert Figured I'd let them wrap up here! But if you'd rather continue, we can work something out! Just seemed like they were done with the tea : )
