Lieutenant Aluminite
The lieutenant's long legs carried him too far too fast and Domeykite slipped behind too quickly. The moment he realized that his companion, he'd dare to say partner during this stupid excursion, had fallen behind and been pelted with rocks, well he doubled back immediate.
"s**t, sorry. I panicked," he apologized, returning to the slightly shorter man's side. He managed to tug him to his feet, looped Domeykite's arm across his shoulders and settled a firm grip on the man's waist.
'You and me, we're getting out okay." Then he did his best in attempting to drag them to the wall that'd caved in. Angrily kicking at a rock when he realized they were still trapped.

He tucked the crystal away into his uniform, the ground beneath him trembling. Hydra had come darting over, and Aurostibite reached out a hand, grabbing onto her shoulder and propelling her forward in front of him. He did not have time to appreciate the crystal, nor the fact that she had been the one to acquire it - commendations would have to come later, when the cave was not about to come down on their heads.
"Everybody out!" Aurostibite shouted, a hand still on Hydra's back. His other shot out and grabbed ahold of Kainite's arm, all but shoving him forward, Aurostibite gesturing for Reinerite and Bloodstone to come along as well. They had not, however, managed to go far; the entrance was blocked.
Aurostibite swore, teeth gritted together. He was still standing close to Hydra, protectively watching both her and the crystal she carried, but within the next second, his weapons shot out, a scalloped blade cracking against the heavy stones as hard as he could. Pebbles and shards scattered, a screeching sound of metal against rock.
"Hold tight to that, you're doing well," Aurostibite said, with a glance back at Hydra before slamming his blade across the rocks again.

Corrupt Sailor Hydra
Despite her grip on Aurostibite Hydra stumbled, heel catching over a fallen rock and making her hit the ground, just as a bunch of rocks came loose and hit her back, calves, and shoulders. She suppressed a cry, determined to still appear strong and capable as she scrambled to her feet. Her knees were scraped, likely to bruise in the aftermath, and there was a gash near the crack in her chest from where the crystal had broken skin in her attempts to guard it closely.
The back of her fuku was torn, pale skin marked with harsh angry red scratches as she stumbled after Aurostibite, his hand both a welcome reminder that he promised to help her and a painful one of the injuries she'd sustained.
She huddled close to the man, peering at the nearby lieutenants that had been assembled and gathered.
Meekly, she tugged at a rock she thought might come loose with one hand, the other pressing Metallia's crystal firmly against her chest. There was no way she was letting it out of her sight or hands.

Lieutenant Reinerite
Reinerite spottedAurostibite close to the hole in the rocks that they had used to enter this part of the cave, doing her best to dodge falling rocks as she did.
It was perhaps a miracle that she hadn't been hit by anything so far given the way that rocks were pelting down from the ceiling.
Not that she was given much time to feel relieved about the fact as a sudden rumble heralded the fact that they had bigger problems on their hands in a form the set of rocks that had fallen and was blocking their way forwards.
She caught up to Aurostibite, noticing thatHydrawas with him, although the turquoise-haired corrupt was sporting some nasty looking scratches that suggested that she hadn't been so lucky with the rocks.
Then again if they couldn't find a way past that rock then none of them were going to be lucky. She summoned her snow globe again because whilst it was pretty much useless it was also all she had.
Then a sudden spark of inspiration, or perhaps it was more desperation, had her pulling off her belt before tightening it around the snow globe.
Holding the end of the combined belt and snow globe Reinerite grimly let it fly at the rock as hard as she could - hoping that the two together would be better than just the snow globe on its own.

Things seemed to be going well for the most part, surprisingly. They were able to break through the rock wall with little consequence, they were able to locate the crystal required by Metallia, and they were so far avoiding serious injury. Not all injury though, and Bloostone paused in heading back up towards the exit to stand beside the young woman named Hydra.
“She’ll need to be checked for internal injuries once we surface,” he stated lowly to Aurostibite, knowing very well that he could speak directly to the young woman, but she was already focusing on protecting the crystal she’d found. He did take a moment to remove the sash from around his chest and quickly folded it up to hand to her.
“Place this against your chest,” he instructed, hoping she would be okay doing this since she was already clutching tightly to the stone that cut her. “Can you still walk? We don’t need you collapsing if you can’t,” he reminded her softly.
Following Reinerite’s example, Bloodstone moved towards the wall of rocks that blocked their path. His weapon would do no good, but he still had plenty of practice in physical combat. He leapt forward once no additional weapons were being thrown, kicking hard at one of the rocks and hoping to dislodge it.

Of course rocks would be falling. Of course they wouldn’t be able to teleport out. Of course his day would just continue to get worse and worse.
Jet groaned and whimpered as everyone started heading back towards the exit from where they came. Aquamarine seemed to be remaining close by, and the others were doing a good job looking for crystals while he sniffled and felt like he did little more than just kick dirt around.
He tried not to make it seem as though he was as miserable as he felt, but from the dark circles under his eyes from lack of proper sleep, to the sniffling and coughing and sneezing he was doing, well…
Miserably, he moved forward to the wall of rocks that blocked their path, drew out one of his weapons, and gouged the blade of the knife down between two of the rocks, using it as a lever to try and dislodge one after another, while trying to ignore his running nose.

Sanidine wasn't the least bit happy with the cave falling in around them; he was less happy when he couldn’t even find Evan. With all the movement, the glowing crystal wasn't much use; he could see a bit, but Evan was small, and fast, and dark—no more than a shadow. He had to hope that the youma wasn't getting into trouble, or that he was still with the bigger youma that actually seemed to know what he was doing. Or that the cat that had attacked him had lead him to safety—that they'd gotten out before the wall of rocks blocked their path.
But he didn't know, and even when he tried summoning Evan to him it didn't really do anything—or, at least, if it did, he couldn’t tell. So he did the only thing he could do and attacked the rocks blocking their path.

Captain Cavansite
Cavansite gave a grunt of annoyance as she came face to face with yet another pile of useless. Worthless. Awful, not sparkling.
Rocks.
“All right. All right then.” She jutted her spear out, smacking it between a few of them and wiggling it to hopefully loosen the massive pile, when something caught her eye. There was movment, like the darkness itself was moving…so of course, she reached out and grabbed it, just as the poor little youma was about to be crushed by a big nasty rock.
“Well well. Saved your life, now didn’t I?” She threw the youma on her back, holding onto it with one hand and continued smashing and smashing all of the rocks she could.
She was getting out of there.
…They all were. Even this dumb youma, who used to cook such good meals.

The barrier of rocks was formidable, but not impenetrable, and the forces of the Negaverse were a mighty force. It couldn't withstand the barrage against it. While some attacks, like Cavansite's and Angelite's, Aurostibite's helped pave the way to an opening, it was not without consequence. Chunks of rock flew at Obsidian and Aluminite, sharp and heavy. They were difficult to dodge, but they could do little more than scrape or bruise. Hydra and Sanidine were no more fortunate and took a blast of dust and debris, all while rocks continued to rain down on the group.
The cave roared loudly behind them; dust filled the air—and then they cleared the path. It was rough, and they didn't have much time, but the way out was opened for them.
Now they just had to make sure that crystal got back to Metallia all right.
Quote:
There are no more rolls! Hydra still has the recovered crystal, and now the final leg of the journey will begin! With the cave open, you can now exit and teleport back to the castle to deliver it to Metallia! Good job everyone! Anyone who participated in this ORP and posted at least 500 words can count this for a battle towards their next growth requirement!
You may write an exit for your character or move them directly into the Conclusion ORP. Make sure you check it out if you find out how what plans Metallia has for this crystal!
