"I don't know..." Pteryx replied, and nodded slowly. "I want to see some of it, but I hear better than see right now."
She paused, and then leaned up to whisper in Lupinus's ear, "Could you tell me what she's doing, so I imagine it all?" It was strange that Pteryx would trust the boy she used to be slightly jealous of, she thought to herself but he was the most familiar thing in the castle at the moment.
Listening to every word, Pteryx found a place to lean against so that she was close enough to hear but not to be seen.

"I'll try." He was never really one for being elaborate, but he should put in an effort, as it was partly his fault she couldn't see as well right now. He spoke in a low voice, both so that he didn't distract Aranea too much, and so that he wouldn't miss anything either she or the prisoner might say.
"Aranea is filling a syringe with liquid, with a long sharp needle... she's injecting it into the mouse's arm. The prisoner is lying on the ground still." He described the way Muris looked as she lay there, as she was given the drug, as Aranea patted her on the head. He paused in his speech as Aranea moved away from the prisoner. "She won't be moving much for a while now," he said. The rest would be mostly talking, and hopefully they would hear something interesting. Even if the information wasn't useful, the fact that the mouse was so determined not to betray her friends... to force her to do so would be even more beneficial than killing her, perhaps.

((sorry, sorry. Didn't realize it was my turn to post again..I'm going to assume this is some sort of truth serum as well as a paralyzing thing?))
The mouse panicked a bit as the poison wended its way through her system, but as she realized it must kill her, she relaxed. Finally, at least, they were doing something...
But no. She was still alive, but could not move, and it seemed after a while that the poison had finished it's effects. What, then, were they planning to do? What was going on?
Her mind was feeling a little fuzzy. Very fuzzy, in fact. Once when she was little Shiaree had given her cough medicine when she'd fell ill, and this felt rather the same as that had...as though she were far away from here. She rather liked it, at this point.

Pteryx listened quietly and patietnly, wishing she could go in and see it for herself. But maybe later? She sighed, and tried to find the right wall out. "Okay. Maybe I can get some sleep, I think I need it again, and then I can be wide awake for the best part. Tell me if she says anything interesting?"
After waiting for an answer, Pteryx made her way out slowly and carefully.

Aranea walked along the passage between cells, stopping outside the only occupied one. She let herself inside, kneeling in front of Muris, tilting the mouse girls head up towards her. The pupils of her eyes seemed dilated more then the gloom of the cell would warrant and they seemed glazed too. The drug was working its way happily through her system; 'So little mouse. What's your name?' she asked softly, brushing the woman's hair back as though in affection. All she was really doing was helping the mellow feeling so that she would happily 'spill her guts' so to speak.

Mm. Everything felt so nice. And look, the spider-lady was being nice to her now. Perhaps they could be friends...
"Muris, but my friends call me Muri," she said, her speech just a little slurred and falling back on her peasant's accent.

She brushed her fingers through Muris's hair, smiling; 'Thats a pretty name. It suits you,' she said silkily. 'My name is Nea,' she said, giving the shortening that Feles had bestowed on her. After all she wanted information from the Fey - she wasnt going to be giving away much herself. 'You and your friends live in a Castle dont they?' she asked. It was something she already knew but was keeping things simple whilst the girl was floating along in happy-land.

Muris smiled remembering, "Oh, yes, they do. I don't. I live outside the castle, just above the stables where I take care of the horses."

'But that sounds like an important job. The Sun Fey, they like their horses dont they? So you are an important person,' she said, talking in an low, almost hypnotic tone, still softly stroking through Muris's hair.

Lupinus listened, remaining where he was for now, out of the way. He'd watch, listen, learn what he could by observing this prisoner. And he'd try to remember to tell the child anything interesting that was said. He sighed as Muris mention she worked with horses... she may not know anything at all, then. Not that he'd really expected her to, for would the Sun Court be foolish enough to send someone on a mission like this who wasn't expendable? Well, maybe they would, but it didn't appear to be the case this time. It wasn't as if stablehands were in high demand.

The mouse-woman shook her head, "No, I'm just a commoner," she sighed softly, "not important at all."
And because of that, she knew that she shouldn't love Alcie. She wondered why this spider lady was being so nice to her. Oh well, it didn't matter anyways. She felt pretty good. She'd really like to take a nap...

'Oh I bet you are more important then you say..' she said, her voice still hypnotically soothing to the ear. 'I'll bet you know everything that happens...and if anyone new has visited your Court,' she said, finally asking one of her important questions. The Majestrix had after all said that the Sun Court knew not of their existence before the Ball. So how then had they been able to find the Castellum? Someone had told them. And she wanted to know who had betrayed the Moon Court.

Muris shook her head, sniffling a bit, "Not important enough...but I know some things. Sometimes I can sit in on meetings and stuff. Even if I'm just a stablemouse."

Meetings huh? 'So at these meetings; have there been any strange visitors recently? People not from your Court say?' she questioned gently, looking at Muris's eyes. The dilation of her pupils seemed to be lessening, and she thought that maybe the drug was wearing off.

Muris blinked, feeling a little less comfy-cozy, but still a bit warm and sleepy, "Er...I think...there might've been." her memory was feeling pretty hazy from the drugs, "There was somebody I didn't like very much...Wanted to take people to rescue Whinny, but I knew it was better if I went with Alcie."
