MosiPost Two 15 HP
- - -
I CHOOSE CHOICE C - - - Today had been a good day for hunting. Mosi had retrieved no fewer than three flawless golden quartz and five good sized pieces of onyx, a masterful haul, if she did say so herself. All she had left to do was get out of the cave and make her way back to her climbing equipment before—
She froze as the ground beneath her feet began to tremble, setting her off balance. The Yaelian had never had a reason to fear a cave collapse, but that was mostly because she had never been in one. The reality of the situation was quite a bit more terrifying than she could have imagined, and as visions of her messy—but thankfully quick—death flashed through her mind, the world cracked and fell away, a sharp disorientation piercing her fear as she fell through the earth.
Mosi landed with a startled 'oof', pushing herself to her feet in irritated confusion as soon as she figured out which way was up. While she was grateful she wasn't dead, she wasn't much of a fan of what had just happened, or whatever this place was, or... pretty much the entirety of this experience. All around her, twisted trees shifted into shapes, familiar for a second or two before turning unrecognizable. The sky was especially alarming, bright with unnatural whirling color that left her dizzy when she looked at it for more than a couple of seconds. Despite the figures in the trees, she was alone.
With a deep sigh, she began to walk.
- - - After what felt like half the day, during which the girl wasn't sure she actually moved, a mist rolled in, quiet and near-instantaneous. At first Mosi coughed, overwhelmed by the sudden change in the air, but it wasn't long before that seemed like way too much effort. She closed her eyes and breathed deep, and when she opened them again, her surroundings had changed.
She was back in the caves, though the walls of these were darker than the familiar medium gray ones on Yael. That she was no longer on her home island didn't seem to disturb her, though there remained an urgency in Mosi's chest even as she took a seat at the edge of the nearest pool, her bare feet shedding a plume of dirt into the water in a cloudy little circle. It disappeared as she watched, the pool pristine again in a matter of seconds.
She couldn't stay here. She had to move on. Still, in that moment she chose to linger, if only for a little while. Mosi pushed herself forward, slipping into the warm water, clothing and all.

I CHOOSE CHOICE A NiadraPost 1 - Intro HP: 25 HP Niadra was worried, but more then that she was sad. Her life had been going so well, her dreams so nice, why now were they messing up? It wasn't fair and she didn't like it one bit. She wanted to go back to the real world, to wake up and cuddle against Nyiim. When the mist started towards her Niadra tried to get away, she didn't know what the mist was or if it was safe. However eventually it caught up to her and she was happy it did. When the mist was gone and she opened her eyes, revealing a hot spring, Niadra was pleased. This was the kind of place she could stay in for a while.

I CHOOSE CHOICE B || Jakkoa ღ ❅ || Post: 2 || HP: 15When it became clear that he couldn’t leave the clearing, Jakkoa stopped walking in the direction he had been and frowned as he surveyed the landscape. He retraced his steps to his starting point, or tried, but found the entire scene so surreal and shifting that it was hard to be sure. He couldn’t have said how long he spent attempting to determine another way out, but immediately noticed the fog when it began to roll in. It wouldn’t have been concerning, other than the ease with which one could become hopelessly lost in fog, except that all but instantly, it proved itself to be more than just that.
Not wanting to lose his position, Jakkoa had resigned himself to staying put until it passed—but the moment it filled in the space around him physically, he felt its effects. A trickling, sweeping calm, that filled him like sand slipping to one side of an hourglass. He shook his head once, but that did little to dispel it, and the curling, endless sea of white fog looked almost hypnotizing to the eye. He shut his. Around him, the air thickened all the further. The substance in his lungs and against his skin shifted, and by the time he drew himself out of it again, the clearing had vanished, usurped by something closer to what he’d started in.
A hot spring, filled with clear, glimmering water.
All around him, it held his weight suspended. Warm, and encompassing. It was relaxing and pleasant, but despite that, Jakkoa found himself searching about for an exit. The sluggishness of it all, ‘tempting’ though it presented itself to be, made him feel held back. Restrained, and stagnant. He had things to do.
He swam for the embankment, and left the water.

I CHOOSE CHOICE A Rhonann - Post 2HP 20 Rho felt like she'd been wandering for ages, looking for that jerk and for the way home, whichever came first. The fog came first though, and she sighed heavily. This place was just making it harder and harder to get back! She felt the fog thicken and press, enveloping her like a warm cocoon. It was quite soothing, actually...
She felt like she was floating. She looked down, and was surprised to find herself in a pool of hot water. Had she dropped in while walking? ...It was so cozy though, she didn't really care. Why should she? As far as she could remember, she was just traveling anyway. Now, she was just traveling through here. Just another place. At least it was a nice place to be.
She sighed happily and leaned back, content right where she was.

I CHOOSE CHOICE B Dexurn - Post 2HP 20 Dex was more curious than worried. Where had Shikori gone? Why was this place so endless? It felt like he was wandering the sands of Oba again, but with less fear. Just keep on walking... Though, walking wasn't getting him anywhere either. The scenery never changed... Well, until the fog rolled in.
As it wrapped around and pressed in, Dex's brow knit with further confusion. It almost felt like he was starting to float... His body was telling him to relax, and he closed his eyes for just a moment.
When they opened back up, he was shocked to find himself in a hot spring. It was so soothing to his tired body. It made him want to sleep... but he had something more important to do! He had to find out where Shikori had gone!
Shaking his head roughly, he spun and kicked to the edge of the spring. Climbing out, he felt as though the water was trying to pull him back in, just a little. He was glad to be out though, and focused again on his goal.

I CHOOSE CHOICE C Faamy - Post 2HP 15 When she realized walking wasn't getting her anywhere, Faamy snorted and sat down. What a pain this was. She was utterly confused, and that was frustrating. Hopefully something would clear the way soon.
She rolled her eyes as the fog rolled in. This was rather the opposite of what she wanted! The fog hugged around her, easing her frustration. Well, it might not be exactly what she'd wanted, but it was rather pleasant.
It took her a minute to realize she wasn't actually sitting anymore. Her head snapped around, finding herself in a pool of the coziest water she'd ever been in. She frowned slightly and started for the edge of the pool, but paused. It felt so good in here... She really needed to go. She had a sister and a mother to find. They would surely be worried about her.
Yet, upon reaching the edge, she simply used it to support her head as she let her body relax. They could wait a little. She'd done so much for them, and worked so hard... She deserved a break. Just a small one.

I CHOOSE CHOICE B Dris'rynne - Post 2 / 20 HP
Dris'rynne could only watched as a mist consumed the landscape around her, covering her with it's warmth until all she could feel was a strong pull to simply relax. The word seemed foreign in her mind, even more so when she felt herself relax into a hot spring. For a moment she didn't bother worrying about how she got there; it felt too good to put that much effort into it...
But a strong sense of purpose wouldn't allow her to rest for long. No sooner had the water lapped at her shoulders then Dris'rynne was pushing her way out, clamoring out of the warm water with more than a few feelings of regret. Maybe in another dream she could rest, but not now! The area felt colder to her now, almost as if there was still a pull to slip back into the water, but her hesitations were gone. Dris'rynne needed to find an exit and that's exactly where she was going to go.

I CHOOSE CHOICE C Ujana - Intro / 15 HP
All thoughts of the butts seemed to slip away as Ujana was swept up in warmth, and deposited into the hot spring. She hadn't felt this luxuriously enveloped in nature since her days in Jauhar. Memories of her mother, her Uncle and cousins helped her to melt in with the water around her. It wasn't a hard choice, when she came down to it; this was a dream, after all, and dreams should be relaxing. She knew she had people to see, butts to talk to, heads to bust, but what harm could there be in a little R&R?
Ujana kicked her legs out into the water, pleased to find that she could only just touch the bottom. It was always a little comfort, something particularly thrilling, when her long legs could dangle. The feeling made her reminiscent of a time when she was still a child, tucked close to her family when the world seemed to make sense.
Just a little while longer, and then I'll get out. Just a little soak, and then she could worry about what happened to the butts.

I CHOOSE CHOICE A Edathe HP - 15
Edathe saw the mist coming before she felt it. It rolled in from the trees and all but swallowed her. It was warm, soothing, and getting thicker. But instead of fear it was... relaxing.
She sighed with the warmth and let it all soak in but then it was too heavy. It was water, and she was up to her chest in a hot spring. She closed her eyes and let her arms fall, the doll she was holding was soaked through and probably ruined, but she didn't really mind at all. She could just stay here forever. And - she thought with another sigh - that was exactly what she would do. She would just stay here.

I CHOOSE CHOICE A Vaena HP - 15
Vaena was still lying in the center of the field with her eyes close when she felt something soft and warm start to caress her skin. She opened her eyes and sat up to see a thick thick steam all around her. It felt nice, definitely relaxing. She closed her eyes again and let the steam build up around her before turning into water.
She could help but think it was strange, but at the same time she knew she didn't care. Let the steam/fog/water do what it wanted. As long as it felt good, it was good with her.
She thought about the stalls she had left behind and threw her head back. If that's what she had to look forward to, then no thanks. She would just stay here forever.

I CHOOSE CHOICE B Mirin HP - 15
Mirin circled the clearing until she realized that there really was no leaving this place and settled with retreating back to the center. What kind of place was this? What was she supposed to do if she couldn't get out?
She watched as the mist rolled in, heavy and thick, and her lips pressed firm. It didn't look very inviting, but when it touched her skin she could feel the heat spreading from it and encircling her. It felt pretty fabulous actually. She was nearly devoured by the stuff before she could feel it start to press against her. Was it getting thicker? It was getting warmer too, borderline hot. She closed her eyes and felt the mist turn to water around her.
She leaned back and could feel that there was a ledge to the water. Was she not trapped now? She looked behind her and realized she could get out. She could leave the clearing. It didn't take but a second for her to do just that. The water was nice, but she had things to do. She had to get out and back to her own forest.

Aylin Post 2 - Choice B HP: 15 I CHOOSE CHOICE B This was starting to grate on her nerves, the colors of the sky starting to weigh her down with a foreboding presence and the trees seeming to twist away from her- never breaking, ever changing. She felt as though she was losing her mind to this place and was filled with a strong urge to find a way “out” of this ceaseless clearing.
As this panic began to set in she suddenly noticed the thick coils of mist rolling along the spongy ground- had they always been there? But then they began to rise, overtaking her senses as they filled the clearing. This at least was almost familiar- the cloying moisture clinging to her skin as it did on warm, humid days in Jauhar- but then heat started to overcome her and this mist’s resemblance to smoke brought back memories of the fire, of the war, and everything felt wrong. Despite this “wrongness” her eyelids felt heavy, a strong desire to merely accept this and sink into the moisture overcoming her fear and she wondered hazily if perhaps this was actually a cloud of poisonous spores from the fungi hanging in the trees.
She struggled to open her eyes fully, and once successful, discovered herself to be surrounded by water. This itself sparked her alert- it was unnatural to be steeped in warm water, her place was among the trees, no matter how relaxing this pool seemed at first. As the warmth of the water surrounded her she found it hard to breath and the initial feeling of relaxation that had washed over her melted away. She took stock of the pool around her and managed to wade over to a rocky ledge that made a convenient exit route, was she late for her lessons? She hoisted herself out of the water, and decided- yes, that must be it- she needed to practice the spells put forth for her by Biroki, needed to learn control so she could help others without fear of hurting them in the process. She stepped damply away from the pool- curiously dry- and made her way forward. [Words: 352]

I CHOOSE CHOICE C ||Takoda|| ||Post 2|| - Choice C ||HP||: 25
Takoda felt his eyelids grow heavy as the heavy fog rolled in, strange...was there a mist before? It felt comforting as it enveloped his body, like a mothers embrace. Sighing he closed his eyes, he felt the surrounding area shift around him and when he opened his eyes he was now sitting in a warm hotspring. He would of been surprised if he didn't feel so relaxed. Instead he felt mildly bemused.
Stretching he looked around the area, forcing his eyes to remain open, it was like a small alarm bell was ringing in his head telling him he better leave or he may regret it. Sighing he forced himself to move, although at a lingering pace staying perhaps a bit too long than he should of. Regardless he pulled himself out of the water his body feeling like a dead weight as his legs refused to help him out. Grunting it took several attempts with his meek upper body strength to help himself out. Once removed he felt his body awakening once more although grumpily.
The shifters head clearing slowly he looked down at the warm inviting water before he forced himself to look away, he knew he was needed somewhere but to where...he wasn't entirely sure.

I CHOOSE CHOICE B Draven Post 2 HP: 20As the surroundings changed and every muscle seemed to relax, it started to not seem all that bad. leaning back for a moment, something snapped within him. He had things to do, his life was just beginning and he had no time for rest. Picking himself up from the hot spring, Draven looked around. He had to leave and find where he actually was.

I CHOOSE CHOICE B Kian - Post 2 - 20 HP He had no time for this foolishness.
Cursing the mage reached out with all his might to try to find some fabric to rend away from this fantasy...normally if he concentrated hard enough he could awaken from the worst nightmares, but this place...it was like a prison. All he could was pace around the clearing. While his expression appeared calm, his gaze was actively searching.
When he saw the faint tendrils of mist thicken, Kian knew that something was going to change. Once more he felt like someone was pushing him down, forcing his eyes to close and allowing the world to shift once more around him. The tension went out of his body as the airs around him coiled and became warmer and wet...
A hot spring? He would have called it a serene place if it weren't for the strange ways he had arrived. It was tempting to just lay back and let the waters take his body, but the male's mind flickered to another. What would she do if he just fell here? His dream of gaining power to never be trapped again would be given up...and he would simply stay caged. "I'll pass thank you very much."
Without pause, Kian shoved himself out of the waters and started to search for another exit. It wouldn't surprise him, however, if there was some new barricade keeping him in this mess. At least if something came for him he would be prepared to fight...
