About: Shizuka is deaf. She struggled with it for many years growing up. Always frustrated that things just working out for her in her favor. Frustrated that people didn't understand her, or seemed to not want to take the time out to understand. As she got older though, she learned to handle the obstacles that being deaf as brought her. She pushes herself to still succeed both academically and socially. When she's not studying, she's teaching others that are interested in signing, so they can better communicate with her, and she has a blast teaching them.
