Light in the Ocean came back again, determined to catch something for his pride's sake. He leaned over the pond, took a deep breath, and list his balance again! His whole body tumbled and fell into the pond making a ginormous splash! "Oh my, there goes the fish again," he told the host and gave him an oopsy smile. "but don't worry, your fish did not get hurt, they all swam away when they saw me splash.."

"Technically if you just watch the surface really carefully it should be possible to catch one right there," she whispered - to herself or otherwise, who knew? "as this is a pond and the movements of the fishes are restricted to - AHAH!"
It was unconscionable that she was right.

First to Strike swanned in with his minibear in tow. "You're sure Grumble can't have his lunch here?" he asked, for probably the third time.
Well, whatever. He pulled himself toward the pond to see where it might be best to - woah! A bass. He showed it to Hunter, trotted back to the pond, and dropped it right back in. It went to show: his charisma brought everyone to the yard. Including the fish. And probably that orange doe Gecko, too. And, hopefully, Never Misses.

A rock. D. Yuck! Licks spits it back out and licks her teeth awkwardly. "Ow, whoops," she says. "Maybe in a day or two after my teeth feel better!"

15. You shut your eyes and feel around in the water. You feel an eel! Pulling it up, Fair Hunter nods approvingly. You get a token.  Swim to the Moon smiles at the doe, "Good evening, keeping warm I hope?" she greets her.
Shoving her head in the pool she feels movement almost immediately. Snapping up a long, slimy body she pulls her head out, showing the eel off before releasing it.
"Thank you." she collects her prize, feeling maybe a twinge of guilt, after nearly a week of being caught maybe the fish aren't moving so fast anymore. No matter how gently the kin catch them, their sides must be sore.

"So, do you just not eat fish?" Wild Green Stones said to Fair Hunter. It was curious that someone with such sharp teeth practiced such a non-violence policy. Maybe it was just a formality.
Who knew?
He plunged his head and neck right into the pond, so that his snout brushed the bottom. Mud, mmm. Wait - now he was having flashbacks. Ugh.
He pulled his head out, coughing. Fortunately he was allowed to wash the mud off this time (thanks a lot, Deathcap), but he wasn't allowed to try again. Hmph.

Rubythroat had to admit he was mostly interested in this booth because of the acha running it. But, okay, he'd play the game, too.
Unfortunately it became very clear very fast that he wasn't really a fishing sort of guy. The first thing he did while his head was underwater was swallow some of it - and it certainly wasn't the dreamy tourist destination water he gossiped about with the Sunchasers. Nnnnope.

18. As you nose around the pond, something brushes against your face. It has long fins, and that’s good enough for you. You snap at it and catch it- and while it puts up a heck of a fight, the smallish carp is yours. You pull it up and get a token for your troubles.  Mugwort approached the doe, giving her a slight smile before dipping his head into the pond.
After a bit of struggle he finally pulls up a carp, he'd have thought the fish would be bigger given how much fight it put up. Letting the fish go he collects his token, "Thank you." he says on his way out.

Dipping her head in the pond she very quickly feels a fish. She doesn't catch it quick, though, as it keeps swimming just out of reach. Finally she snaps it up by its tail fins, pulling it out to reveal a carp. Releasing it she collects a token and goes on her way.

Light in the Ocean dropped by again and dipped his entire face below water, quickly pulling out what he thought was a fin. When he opened his eyes again, and dropped the 'fish' onto the ground, it turned out that it was just a flat piece of rock. "Oh, I swear I saw a fish when I bit in," he giggled, and left the rock on the ground before walking away to find food.

Licks stares down her nose at the ugliest fish ever, and crosses her eyes and cringes around holding it before placing it back into the water. She hangs her tongue out and takes the token, unsure of whether that really WAS worth a token. She's going to have to rub her tongue along some tree bark for a little while to get the taste out of her mouth. She's pretty sure it tasted just as nasty as its face looked...
