Username: Jun D Dice Roll: 6 Kin name: Shroud Response: It was by sheer coincidence, long after the strange, intoxicating effects of the previously kissed frog had finally worn off (he had found himself in a bush, but it had been a relatively pleasant bush and rather soft, so he hadn't complained), that Shroud ended up right back at, well, the frog kissing booth again. It seemed he might have simply inadvertently retraced his drunken steps – or maybe he'd just been unconsciously beckoned back by the sweet voice of the doe who ran it. Either way.
"It was quite an experience the last time round," he laughed, nodding pleasantly, "I don't suppose I'll be going through that again – oh, where? In this direction? Thank you -"
Fortunately, the world did not again start swimming when he planted his puckered lips on the creature (somewhere) before him. Unfortunately, it didn't go quite right either. He couldn't tell one frog from the other, it was true, but he wasn't quite sure this was a frog at all. The skin was rather dry, for one...and...pebbly. Warty, even, you might say. It was distinctly a toad.
It seemed that the sweet-voice doe wasn't too happy, but he got a token anyway.

Okay, Lily had to admit it: she liked dares. When it'd been intimated that she was too much of a prissy acha to really kiss these frogs like they deserved - well, that'd had her marching right off. "One kiss for me," she told that devious orange doe. "I'll even let you pick the frog this time." Just so she wouldn't be pouting about toads, or whatever.
Then it was Lily's turn to shift side to side nervously. While she waited for a kimeti to pick out a frog for her to kiss. She couldn't believe it'd ever come to this. Fortunately - or perhaps unfortunately? - the kimeti was dallying, looking from frog to frog with an admittedly adorable confused look on her face. "Come on," said Lily, suddenly tired. "I just want to get this over with."
But um - apparently? There was a lost frog, or something? Couldn't Lily just kiss one of the others and be done with it?
Apparently not, but a token was tossed at her regardless. She had to stumble about a bit to pick it up. "Hey, thanks," she said. But she still had the dare to complete. Tomorrow, tomorrow...

Username: -- Piggybuns -- Dice Roll: 9 Kin name: Stinging Itch Response: 150 words of happenings to your kin! Itch wants to give another frog a kiss today but today there are no frogs. Or Gecko. He blinks a couple times, confused, and notices that there is a pile of tokens on the table. She didn’t pack them up with her? He peeks sideways and argues with his concience for a while before deciding to slip one out. No one will notice... right? He takes ones last look around trying to spot any frogs who wanted any smooches, but they all really were gone. Even the one that got him drunk. He sighes and stuffs a token in his mouth hoping that he can hide it well enough and manages to skip off into the swamp. Hopefully no one would notice the odd shape of his cheeks while he wanders to bury it below a tree to come back for it later. She wouldn’t miss it... at least he hoped not.

Username: The Cake Mage of Sheep Dice Roll: 6. You end up kissing... a toad? Gecko is upset. This is not a frog AT ALL. Nonetheless, you earn a token. (+1 token) Kin name: Jumping Frog Response: 150 words of happenings to your kin! Jumping Frog had heard of a booth with frogs, and she couldn't resist coming to see the cuties. What she hadn't heard was kin were being asked to kiss a frog for their token. Not that she minds, frogs are the best in her opinion. In fact, she'd kissed her pet frog a time or two. "I'll give one a smooch." she tells Gecko.
Unfortunately she ended up with a toad somehow, not too bad but still not the smooth frog skin she'd been expecting. The bumps a bit rough against her lips. Still the pretty doe gives her a token, so all is good. "Thank you." Jumping Frog says, "Have a great evening!" adding in as she turns to go.

After the world stopped spinning (for the most part) Nut Smuggler made his way towards some of the less painful looking booths. His head was throbbing too much to return to his own for a while anyways. He needed something quieter for a while. A kiss? Well it was only a frog and an easy way to get a token. It could be worse. He'd already stuck a hoof into that sketchy kin's ponds the other day. It had only been a mossy rock that time but some of those murky depths appeared... occupied if you know what I mean. Nut Smuggler leaned forward and shut his eyes. Just because he didn't care if it was a frog didn't mean he wanted to make eye contact. The pressure that met his lips though was decidedly NOT froglike though and Nut Smugglers eyes shot open in surprise. "Oh!" Before he could formulate a proper reply another doe (one he had not noticed before) was 'escorting' him away with a token and a rather ominous warning. Nut Smuggler snorted. Like it was his fault the pretty doe had stolen a kiss. If Fair Hunter was worried about her mate maybe she should keep a closer eye on her.

4. You give that frog a great big smooch! Gecko is pleased, and gives you a token. (+1 token) “Frogs are the best. One time I met a frog down by the river and there was also a buck there and I think it was his frog and he looked embarrassed because he was talking to it and I said don’t worry about it because frogs are great listeners and then well, he was really nice, so I sat down beside him and we talked to the frog together and then we did other things, oops, I better not tell you about that.” She stopped talking long enough to give the frog a very big, wet kiss. “Thanks Froggy Friend. Hey, if you see that guy and his frog out there, you should send a ‘hello’ message for me. He was really cool. What was his name? Um. I dunno. But he was all gold and pretty. Actually, I’m going to try and find him now. Bye bye. Thanks for the kisses! I’ll try come back tomorrow!” And Splash was away, prancing happily.

Username: Scaramouche Fandango Dice Roll: 6 Kin name: Welcome Home Fair Hunter Response: On the one hand... she'd promised not to eat any of the frogs Gecko had drummed up for this little enterprise. Knowing Gecko, most of them were poisonous anyways.
On the other... well, that was clearly a toad. Its sad eyes and warts belied its true nature. Its dry skin looked so succulent and delicious. It let out a sad little croak and gave a half-hearted hop that moved it nowhere. It was practically begging her to eat it- and Gecko was nowhere in sight. Licking her lips, the acha approached, salivating around her sharp teeth...
When suddenly a flash of orange in her vision signaled Gecko's approach. Dammit! She'd be really upset if she caught Fair Hunter eating one of her charges, so Hunter improvised. Quickly pursing her lips, she smooched the toad. "I kissed one of your stupid amphibians, now where's a token?"

Username:Mindsend Dice Roll: 7. You kiss... Frog. AGAIN?! (+1 token, and you're drunk!) Kin name: I Walk in Dreams Response:Waking up in the bush where she tumbled and remained as the world spun until she passed out to sleep off the toxins of the brightly colored frog named Frog, Dreams carefully picked herself out, shaking her head rapidly to try and snap herself out of the groggy fog. Laughter behind her caught her attention, and she watched the new kin trying to kiss the frogs -- sometimes missing or even accidentally kissing someone else's fish dinner, she sighed as memories flashed back, remembering what happened.. Carefully making sure her existing token was well hidden, she turned to face the booth again, her face stern. Stepping up boldly, she squinted at the brightly colored frog while waiting for one of the other frogs that wasn't causing strange side effects to those kissing it to be available, her lips curling into a slight scowl as the frog turned to face her, as if it was hoping she'd kiss it again, "I know better than to kiss you now, bright one, so don't think I'm going to make a fool of myself by repeating that act." Turning towards a frog someone had flinched away from, unwilling to kiss, she nodded, "lets try this again with a better suited frog..." She dipped her head down, to give it a quick peck on the head, only to feel something bump prematurely on her muzzle, slick and wet and... Sort of numbing? Dreams lowered her head again, looking to see what happened as the world begun to spin again -- was she just allergic to these sort of frogs? But no, the Brightly colored frog named Frog had pushed the frog she had tried to kiss over a little trying to get closer to her attracted to her own bright coloration, both webbed feet on the others head as it leaned up into her, just enough that her muzzle had blocked the sight of it as they neared. Sitting down quite suddenly, she shook her head once more, trying to clear it and only setting the world spinning, her expression flat until her eyes crossed. After a couple attempts to grab her token on her own, she finally just let it be handed to her before the bright cyan and pink octoacha stumbled over to her bush and hid it in it with it, "I... Rrreal.. Really. Need a p-. A p... A pel... Shome leathersh to carry thesh in.. But firsht...." She hiccuped, rubbing the side of a leg against her lips, trying to rub the tingling sensation out, but for slipping, her legs sprawling out in all directions. Since that didnt get the taste out of her mouth, she lifted her head and took a bite out of the leaves of the bushes, eyes closed as she chewed lazily, head wobbling back and forth faintly, the toxins rolling through her like waves created by a crocodile doing a deathroll next to her. Lily had accepted the dare. That meant she was back. And she was going to complete it, even if Gecko didn't end up finding a frog for her to kiss. "Just watch me," she'd told Death in the Afternoon, laughter in her voice. "I'm gonna do it this time."
So she'd walked right up to Gecko's booth, and examined each frog. "One kiss, please," she said, smiling apparently beatifically at the orange doe. "I'll let you choose the target, if you'd like - "
But it didn't really look like there was going to be much choosing here. Lily shrugged, and pecked a toad right on its wart. Ugh. But it'd been disgusting, so maybe it qualified? She shot a grin at Gecko, who slid the token over huffily. "You should really clear this toad out, if you don't want me kissing it," Lily said, shaking her head.
Actually - actually, kissing a frog might have been better than this toad.

He totally had not been hovering around the booth, making sure that, this time, he would not miss his lady-friend. Even if it was a little weird that she was asking kin to kiss frogs - but it wasn't exactly his place to talk - she seemed to be having a great time with it.
(Gecko was a little weird - but he loved her.)
Clearing his throat a little, the red chested boy sidled up to the booth, getting ready to do what he had to do - kiss a frog. Closing his eyes nervously, he leaned forward, expecting something slimy and gross, and just unsavory.
Instead, he felt something fuzzy and warm, and opening one glowing eye, he was face to face with Gecko instead!
"Goodness me!" He piped up, louder than usual. He was happy he was covered in fur, or he'd be blushing like wildfire. He didn't even notice her constant companion staring him down, nope.

A familiar gold and white acha could be seen hesitating near the booth. She was probably going to come back daily until the terms of her dare had been fulfilled - but that was okay, because she knew they would be fulfilled. M-maybe. Probably?
Oh no. They looked so slimy, all lined up in a row. It was like someone had just tried to give them an awkward bath, or something, but had used completely the wrong materials for it. It certainly wasn't appealing to Lily in this dimension, and she was pretty sure it wouldn't appeal to her in any dimension. She looked from frog to frog, leaned in, puckered her lips...ugh. How had she been fine with the toad and its warts but not these? They were actually cute. Or they would be cute, if they weren't wet. Ack, look how wide that mouth was...
Okay, okay, okay. No. She couldn't do this. Maybe she'd go back to her own booth, practice with her sweet, sweet foxbun, and...come back? Then she'd definitely show Bloodsport.

"So! Some of these frogs are... very taken with you, yes? So um. If, by the time the market closes, you've kissed a frog... I think maybe you will have a chance to take one home!"
(OOC: That's right! If your kin has managed to smooch a frog by January 4th, I'll be compiling a list of frog-kissers to raffle TEN FROGS away to! So get to smoochin', folks!)

2. You... miss the frog's mouth. Gecko is extremely disappointed, and sends you on your way. Sorrel turns at the last moment, as the frog had just opened its mouth to snatched up a particularly large fly. No way was she going to kiss bug guts. Instead she gives it a peck on the head, and just the tiniest lick. Just in case this one has special frogslime.

28 December Username: FrostyPeaches Dice Roll: 5. The frog... isn't there? Gecko panics, and runs off to find her friend. Sorry! No kiss for you! Have a token for your trouble. (+1 token) Kin name: Kiss of Death Response: At this rate, Kiss may never be able to kiss a frog at all. Time was running out before the event and its booths will close down for the year. Why did she back out from kissing one yesterday? If she did it she may have finished by now and move on to frequent other booths. Today she walked up to the booth and was all ready to kiss a frog after pepping herself up talking to herself in her mind with encouraging words. She felt like a wuss when she kept on thinking about how she chickened out the day before. When she had chosen her box, she opened it to find...nothing! There was no frog! Kiss of Death looked up in time to see Gecko's freaking out face as she dashed off to find her froggy friend. She wanted to say stop but she was already gone. Shrugging off what just happened, Kiss just walked to the end of the booth and took a token for no effort at all.
