When the girl called out to Claire, she stopped immediately and turned her head over her shoulder. She wanted to repay her? But that wasn't necessary, she only helped her off the ground and gave her wise advice. Unfortunately, the girl wasn't giving her much of a choice. If she declined, it was probable tears would start flowing again. Whether they were genuine or not, it still wouldn't be a good look. "If...you insist. What did you have in mind?" She would let her decide what the favor would be since didn't want to inconvenience the gloomy one. That, and she didn't have anything for her to do. Hopefully it would be reasonable and quick; not to be rude, but she was hungry.

'Shiori''Kawaguchi' Shiori twiddled her thumbs, thinking it over. She wasn't sure that Claire was actually going to take up her offer. Infact, most people just completely ignore her whenever she tried to talk with them. They weren't a fan of those who cried. She nervously dug out a wallet, trying to speak. "I-I... uh... I can p-pay for your lunch. It's around that time..."She awkwardly said, staring at the leather bounding of her money. ___________________________________________

While Claire waited patiently for Shiori to come up with something, she was contemplating on what her constant crying could be a symptom of. Water manipulation maybe? Perhaps a mermaid, though it was hard to tell if she was using magic. But the moment she pulled out her wallet, her eyes widened for a moment. Well...that could've gone better. If anyone was around and saw this, it definitely would've looked like she was shaking the poor girl down. She sighed and put up her hand to stop her. "That's too much..." she told her. If she was going to make suggestions like this, perhaps she should tell her what she wanted. "Instead...come to lunch with me. I'd like to pick your brain, if you don't mind." Yes, that would do just fine. Then she could find out what she was and her curiosity would be sated. Not a bad request she came up with on the fly. Without a word, she'd gesture the girl to follow her before heading to the dining hall at last.

'Shiori''Kawaguchi' Shiori let her wallet lay limp in her hands, disappointed. "Are you sure? B-but..."Already she was being push off. It figures since her personality was so. Well, it appeared that way until her teary eyes perked up, looking in confusion. "Eh? Join you? Pick my brain?"She was merely changing the debt. A slight joy erupted in her heart along with a completely different feeling. She followed behind her, wondering what her intentions could possibly be. Well, it was less than merry.
Since she was covered in many many cactus needles, her movement was stiff and plucking them out herself was taking too much time. Galya felt a little ridiculous for ruining her gifts so badly, she supposed that this was her punishment for destroying a plant which could have possibly lived a healthy, happy life on one of her new friends' windowsill.
"Ow..." The girl whispered silently to herself as she plucked a long cactus needle out of her arm. Gah, enough fooling around! She needed to find the infirmary... Infirmary... Where was it? Galya stood in the middle of the hallway, her brows furrowing. Darn, her tracking skills worked last time, how could it not work now? Perhaps an added punishment for her plant crimes? Through another's eyes, she looked pretty foolish; Galya was covered head to toe in cactus needles, standing with her arms and legs extended as to not rub the needles against her body, looking quite confused as to where to go.

Kyomu slowly meandered down the hall, not exactly lost, but not exactly finding the place he needed to be. His hooves clicked and echoed through the silent corridor. He deeply underestimated the size of this school. ”I wonder 'ow many studen's go 'ere.” He thought as he turned a corner. He came to an abrupt halt, hooves clacking loudly, as he laid eyes upon a most unusual creature. It looked like a human, but it was covered in spines and walked in such an odd manner. The green hair added to Kyomu's mental image of a walking cactus. ’Is it lost frem de sands?’ He wondered as he continued to watch in slight amusement.

Kyomu slowly approached the cactus human. It looked like it was in pain and seemed to be asking for assistance. ”Is ye 'urt?” He asked as clearly as he could while instinctively signing the words with his hands. ’Acciden'. Wha' was de meanin' of tha'?’ He racked his brain, trying to remember the translation. His tail swished as he believed he remembered. 'Lawst! A'course!'"Is 'kay, cac-tus. I 'elp ye wit' problem. We go bach to sands, 'ight?" Kyomu smiled, glad he could help this poor unfortunate creature return home.

It was hard to understand his accent, however she managed to slide by with processing his speech for a few minutes.
"Uhhh..." Galya mumbled, "No sands, I don't live there! I live in the learning building..." She awkwardly made gesture to symbolize the campus, which was a large circling motion. "I made a... Cactus get too big and explode." As an example of her current predicament, she began to pluck out a few of the cactus needles. "I ruined it..." Soon, she sniffled a tad. "I destroyed a precious green life and it's all my faaaulllt..." Geez, what a hippie. Galya held back her tears, which was a sad attempt to appear outwardly stronger. "It doesn't hurt that much, but I don't want needles in my flesh sack forever." She declared, ignoring her most recent outburst.

Kyomu nodded in slight understanding. This wasn't a cactus, but it appeared to have done something to make a catus attack it. 'I think dis is one studen'.' He thought as he looked her up and down. 'Female...I think...an' not cac-tus.'"Ye need doct-or?" He asked and signed, since her arm gestures seemed to suggest she understood that form of communication.

Kyomu smiled and nodded. "Magic 'ealer, yez. T'ere be one 'ere. Somewhere. T'is way." He began walking, his back leg aching slightly from being stationary so long. 'I should get some o' dat 'ealing 'erb mediceen while we t'ere.'Of course, Kyomu had no idea where the infirmary was, but he figured it should be fairly easy to find.

"I am called Kyomu. It is nice to meet ye, Galya." Kyomu signed as he answered. "I am Cen-taur and teach-er. No' 'orse guy-a." He added. He looked around, looking at signs above doors and trying to remember the human symbols for 'infirmary'. His tail swished and he figured it would be custom to also ask questions in a conversation. "Is ye studen'?"
