Leon Proud, X-Universal Automation

"Aye."

He did not catch a break. Indeed, he was starting to regret having tempted fate.
Within the span of moments several more very powerful energy sources had entered the area. And a least two of them didn't seem exactly friendly, which didn't fill the machine with much hope. He scanned the new arrivals, hoping that perhaps the X-Universal Faction's databases could inform him of who he might be dealing with.
The first to arrive was labeled 'WARNING; DRAGON', which brought to his mind the other dragon he saw just a few moments ago. Beside her was a younger man, who was titled 'THREAT?; DRAGON'. "Aye, that's the kind of news I wanted to hear..." he thought to himself while his scanner sought any relevant data on the dragons. ""Don't worry, this one is less likely to maul you!" great news..."
He then turned his focus upon Sedhor, a somewhat more familiar face. "I know a bit about that one, since he was one of the main inspirations for the design of Unit 001... aye, not that it matters much now." thankfully the X-Universal Faction had spotted Sedhor a few times before, so they had at least a decent profile of him. The man who was now floating above the rest read simply as THREAT?', and had no profile in the databank. This would've filled Leon with dread, if he could feel that kind of emotion to any real degree.

He then decided that he should most likely go and introduce himself before something even worse happened, and so he began running... then jumped. He sailed though the air like some strange combination between agile bird and man, before landing on the roof of the building where everyone else was with a loud thud. "Aye, gentlemen and lady. If possible, this one would like to join in the talk of reapers and their sins." he wasn't quite sure of how to really approach, so he hoped that perhaps blunt-forcing his way in would lead to serviceable results.
His creators really should have finished designing his social and planing skills before putting him on ice.

When Kor sheathed his sword and acknowledge Draco's presence, the younger dragon relaxed just a bit, but kept alert to any sudden movements from the saiyan. Then he realized that there was a more powerful entity very close and as he started to turn his attention toward that, his mother gave him a mental message, 'ignore him.' With that, Draco stayed where he was, ready to attack Kor if he should be provoked.

DemonladySesshomaru lowered her blades but kept them unsheathed. “It seems you know nothing more. However, you did converse with the dark dragon god. What did you ask of him? Tread lightly young saiyan. The next thing you say could mean your life if you have asked ill of him. “

As she waited for her answers from Kor, she turned slightly to acknowledge Sedhor's presence. “And you, dear brother, are you planning on just staring at us or do you have some purpose? Mind you, if one of those cards manages to find its way in my or my son's direction, I will have a hard time explaining to the Father how you lost your head.” There was no malice in her voice, just a calm that said she meant every word she said.

Just then, another entitiy joined the foray, not a living creature that she could sense. It was some kind of ... android? She shot a message to Draco who immediately left his position and phased next to Leon. Taking his blade, he held it to the artificial one's throat. “I suggest you tell me your purpose here and what your intentions are toward us. Answer quickly and correctly or it will be your last. What do you know of Reaper and his sins?”

Kor: "Reaper told me how his Saiya-jin Soldiers had killed those within this military compound and well I used the remaining two wishes to undo all the damage caused by them and to replace the memories of those that were slaughtered and those who had witnessed it in some manner with false memories so nobody would know about the atrocity that had occurred here. Anyways seeing as this a military compound I think that we should leave to somewhere more inconspicuous before they send some of the newly resurrected soldiers up here to arrest us for trespassing."

Sedhor tried not to get too angry at the lizard who dared to call him brother. They were far from such formalities, it was disgusting really. However he couldn't help but feel that dagger in his heart as the words left her lips, more venomous to him than he cared to admit. In an attempt to, calm himself, he lowered the sword, and placed it in his sheath, before placing his hand atop his tarot deck. On the top was his own card, and the seal to his full potential, and by tapping into that power he managed a short burst of speed he couldn't otherwise maintain. Within the blink of an eye, he was face to face with 'DemonladySesshomaru', and spoke quietly to her, in that same calm voice she had spoken to him with. "You are not my sister. Remember that, and never again equate the two of us. We are nothing alike." With that, Sedhor returned to his exact prior position, considering the situation.

He held now nothing more than a pair of fours, hardly a fitting hand. He couldn't place a high bet now, best to play it safe. So he chuckled a bit and folded up his hand, placing it in with the deck of playing cards he still held.
"Forcing me to fold as always, hardly fair. I thought the investigator did the interrogations, but you've asked all the relevant questions. Then again, if you just want to do my job for me, I suppose I could just go back home and relax. Would be nice to get a free pass on work. Now then, like the kid said we ought to leave before I have to kill some fools for interrupting the investigation, and I'd rather not have a mountain of paperwork to work on for the next year to explain that to Brother. SO then, does anyone happen to have a nice little pub we can all sit down in like civilized folk for a cup of tea?"

"Aye."

"I know that the reaper has this bad habit of taking souls well before their time, and is often flanked by a force of lesser evils." he didn't mind much the feeling of metal, but he decided that he'd rather keep his head. "Aye, I've been sent here because my superiors are worried that he might become a bigger threat still if he is allowed to do... something." indeed, the sole failing of the X-Universal Faction's elite group of psychics is that while they are able to view the (near-ish) future and past perfectly, they are also unable to give very clear answers about what it was that they saw.
"Aye, I was hoping that one of you had a better idea of why he was here in the first place." he thought for a second, then started mentally re-reading the psychic's report to make sure that he didn't miss any clues they left. "On the topic of leaving this place, I had passed by a small restaurant earlier that seemed cozy enough. Aye, we might even get lucky and find it bare of any soldiers who've heard of us." he had to stop himself from saying "soldiers who recognize me from earlier", as he didn't want to waste time explaining why.

Sedhor's little visit and conversation with DemonLadySesshomaru didn't anger her in the least. In fact it amused her.  "You are not my sister. Remember that, and never again equate the two of us. We are nothing alike."  ”Really now, I think the Father might have something to say about that, but if that's how you feel, okay. Be that way. You are one of the babies in the family, and I really haven't spent any time with you, so of course that is how you would feel.” Then just as quickly as he came, he was back in his original position just watching the festivities. Manipulating his deck of cards was fun for the Dragon Queen. It was her little way of getting back at him for thinking of her as a lizard. Telekinesis does so have its benefits and it was good that he wasn't happy with the hand he saw. But back to more important matters.

"Alright Kor, I see your point about this Reaper personality. I agree that staying in this spot might not be advantageous to either of us. As for arresting us, you might be in danger of that, but not l nor my son. We have ways of disappearing in an instant, or haven't you noticed that yet? Still, since you don't have that singular ability, I will get us to a safer place. I believe my brother, I mean Sedhor, the one over there, (she pointed in his general direction) just mentioned a cafe he passed. I will take us there.” DemonLadySesshomaru looked toward the card-carrying male. " Meet you there. That is if you want any more questions answered."

Draco was half listening to the android and paying closer attention to his mother and the one in red. He didn't like that one at all, but since his mother's mood was light and she didn't kill him outright, he didn't move from his position. Finally he let the words of the automaton sink in. ”We already know there is a more dangerous one here. That's why we came. If you have no useful information then why don't you just leave? You are only going to get in the way, very much like that Kor and the red one over there. We can handle the evil that is here. Mother has dealt with him before, this time he will be destroyed once and for all.”

The Dragon Queen wasn't too thrilled that her son was giving away so much information to a foreign entity, but what was done was done. ”Draco, we leave! was her only order before she, Kor and her son were transported from the site to a cafe on the edge of the city, leaving the automaton behind. It was out of the way and not very busy, just the kind of place where talk could be had and not overheard too easily. Since only she and Draco were completely telepaths, verbal conversation was mandatory and eavesdroppers were not going to be welcome.

When the dragon lady spoke about him not being able to escape arrest, he laughed heartily at the asinine stab she had taken at him. When she offered to teleport everyone away, he let her do just, but he didn't agree with how she rudely left behind the android so he used his Instant Transmission to retrieve him and bring him back to the pub. (FYI since androids don't give off Ki, he did it by locking onto the energy signature of one of the Amestris Central HQ's office clerks located inside of the building they had just been on.)

Kor: "I don't have the ability to teleport. Then what do you call what I just did? Anyways the android here may not have much info to provide, but seeing as he shares a common enemy with us it wouldn't hurt to have him with us to discuss what we know about what is going on."

Kor entered the pub and rented them a private room upstairs so that nobody would be able to eavesdrop on their conversation. Once they had all entered the room and the door was closed behind them, he pulled out a small case of Capsule Corporation Capsules and pulled out the ones labeled 1 & 9. He pushed the buttons on top and threw it out before him. The capsule 9 released it's contents which were some high tech security equipment designed for the purposes of noise-proofing rooms, security monitoring, and a few other things. He used the laptop to set-up the equipment within a matter of seconds both inside and outside the room via remote control.

Kor: "Okay we can continue our discussion without worrying about eavesdroppers or other unwanted guests."

Sedhor growled and again ran across his cards to get to the cafe pub at the edge of town. For much of the journey, every cuss imaginable, and several he made up on the spot, spilled out of his lips like a flood breaking through a dam at long last. Everyone, EVERYONE seemed to have fricken magic to fly or teleport or some such stupid transportation, while he had to do everything the hard way. They ought to have given someone ELSE the job of investigating and fixing problems, someone who could move faster.

AS it was it was rather short of a trip, since he circumvented all traffic on his way, and folded up his cards as he entered the pub. It took him almost no time to find the others and enter the room before any security was placed up. As Kor soundproofed the room, Sedhor took stock of the situation, placing several tarot cards on the table one after another.

The Wheel, of course, upright. Justice, in reverse, for the son, and Strength for the mother. Temperance for the young one. Judgement for the machine. Death, for Scarlet, and the Tower for Reaper. EAch card was drawn one after another, very clearly in the deck for this reason alone. To focus all the voices in Sedhor's mind, thoughts, feelings, actions, desires, to this task of figuring out what to do.
"A strange fortune, this one. Much trouble lies ahead, it would seem. A motley bunch of cards to be sure." Sedhor glanced up from his cards, leaving them out after placing one more face down. Not yet time for that one, but soon enough to be sure.

After glancing to each individual in turn, he smiled a little bit. This was turning out to be an interesting start to the game.
"Now then, I believe the young Kor was telling us what little he knew of the situation at hand. As we've mentioned, he and Reaper appear to be one and the same, though different. With such a valuable card, how exactly are we to play this hand?"

"Aye."

Leon had been left behind. While he most likely could have found Kor again, he wasn't going to enjoy having to search through a city that most likely had an eye out for him. "Aye, so that women had defeated Reaper before? must not have done a very good job of it." he thought to himself while several of his alternate processors were still reading and re-reading the report that the psychics had produced. "But coming back from the dead? aye, that seems somewhat unlikely."
Then Kor reappeared. "... that at least saves me the trouble of finding him." was what he thought to himself. Then the world blurred for just a second, and Leon had found himself inside the room of a pub. "...aye, so that just happened. he sat down, since that was clearly why they were there.

"Pfft, I've died before, it's fine." Fiyah said, waving his hand dismissively. He had the sudden urge to start playing Persona again, but now was not the time. For the time being, it seemed he had found himself embroiled in something new and exciting, possibly the purpose of his trip.

DemonLadySesshomaru smirked as Sedhor played out his little card game. Strength for me? What did you expect Sedhor? I am after all one of.... Oh never mind. I am a Dragon Demon Queen and far older than you. And as for those snide comments android about me not finishing off Kor in his past incarnation, you no nothing of that battle or the way Saiyans resurrect themselves. There must have been a minute particle of him left that I didn't totally destroy. That is the only way he is now here to cause havoc in this universe. So keep your mouth shut and observe. That's all you are good for.” There was no anger in her voice, but a complete tone of authority. That was the way of the dragon goddess. She could have just as easily with one thought obliterated the machine, but that would have served no real purpose except to upset the others in the room. They were mere children playing a game here and she was here for war. There was one target and one target only for her, the one Kor called Reaper. She could easily destroy his entire so-called army with a single thought at this very minute, but why tip her hand.

Draco sat quietly. He could read his mother's every thought. Oh, her voice was calm, if not authoritative. But her mind was as hot as the volcano back home. If everyone in this room didn't watch his step, they would end up back home inside Fuji-san's lava. Though straight-faced, Draco laughed inside. 'Those fools have no idea who they are dealing with. It's a good thing she is on their side in this endeavor, otherwise, they would be toasted by now.' When he saw the card the one his mother called Sedhor turned over for him and it was said to mean justice, in reverse, Draco let out a giggle; very unbecoming a prince and very inappropriate for the occasion. “Justice in reverse? How appropro Sedhor. And just how is that to apply here?”

DemonLadySesshomaru scanned everyone in the room. The android had a mechanical brain, a computer of sorts and was easy to plug into. She could download everything he was programmed to do. “So, they call you Leon, is it? Well, Leon, you will not be much use in the battle, so unless you want to get your well-maintained android body burned to cinders, I suggest to you hidden when all hell breaks loose. Record what you may, but stay the hell out of my way. And any more snide 'thoughts' about how I didn't go a good job of disposing of Reaper as he calls himself now will immediately turn you into a pile of ash. You are not Saiyan, you do not resurrection abilities.” Then she turned to Kor. “And you Kor, the jury, that's ME, is still not 100% sure you can be trusted. You have allies that are not yet present. I know they are not that far away. Although have the ability to travel the multiverses, you DO NOT have the same abilities as I do, so stop thinking you do. That smug thought you had when I told you before you didn't and then you used your devices to get here is NOT the same as how I work. Telepathy and telekinesis you do not have! I have dealt with you and your kind before. So get it straight.”

She wondered if they would ever understand. It is always the same with Kor and his kind. Those Saiyans think they are the masters of the multiverses. Only the Father is the master of the multiverses. He gave each of his children special abilities. Sedhor had his with his cards and magic. The dragon demons had theirs, and she, being his actual daughter was their queen and had the most. Telepathy and telekinesis were two of the greatest. She loved and hated those abilities. She had to make them understand some how. They had served her well in dealing with Kor/Reaper before when he tried to utterly annihilate her entire race throughout the multiverses. It was then she found out just how terrible that power can be, and how wonderful. When four of her clans were settled in different universes, they were attacked by Kor/Reaper and his soldiers. It was a terrible battle. She couldn't be in four places at once and there was only one way to help. She teleported all the dragons at once to a fifth universe and then utterly destroyed the four they came from, pulling Kor/Reaper to a separate one with only her to battle him. She locked them in the universe for a final battle. They fought vigorously, and in the end, she killed him and to be sure he would not return, she incinerated his remains. She thought that would be the end of him. Until now. Now she realizes, she should have destroyed that universe too. He will not escape this time.

She took a deep breath and let it out slowly. “I will say this one time and it will never be spoke to another outside my clan again. I have decided to join you in this endeavor, and that is why I can tell you my reasons for being here. She then gave the abridged version of her battle with Kor/Reaper and how his revival brought her this place. “ He cannot and will not leave here this time. He cannot be allowed to do to any others what he did before. You must all vow to end it here.”

Draco read his mother's thoughts and was shocked. She had never told another being outside the clan what happened. Only those actually involved in the fight those centuries ago actually knew what happened to the multiverses. Only the immediate family knew of her fight with Kor.

Kor laughed inwardly when she said that teleportation was something done with his devices and that telepathy and telekinesis were abilities that he did not possess. He felt like he should do another demonstration of his abilities to prove her wrong once again, but decided that being a smart a** wasn't wise right now so he didn't do it. Instead he heard her out on everything she had to say and learned as much from it that he could about her and his evil A.U. (Alternate Universe) Counterpart as he possibly could. When she was finished speaking the story of her battle with Reaper, he was the first to respond to her.

Kor: "Demon Lady Sesshomaru, I am sorry to be the one to bring you bad news, but after hearing what you've had to say both about what you know of my abilities and your battle with Reaper, I hafta tell you that unfortunately he was holding back when he fought you and I believe he let you think you killed him so that next time you encountered him he could enjoy your reaction to him still being alive. Also he probably held back because he wanted you to show him what you were truly capable of doing, while you yourself wouldn't be aware of what he was truly capable of so that in his next fight with you he'd have the advantage of you underestimating his abilities. I say all of this based off the fact that that might be what I were to do if I was evil like he is and also because some of those things I'd probably do myself anyways. Enjoying a good fight is heavily embedded into our Saiyan genes and well he probably enjoyed the fight he had with you so much that he didn't want to go all out and kill you because then he wouldn't be able to fight you again."

Kor then thought it wise to prove that she didn't know what he and in extension Reaper were truly capable of doing by showing her that she was wrong about him being unable to use telepathy and telekinesis. He did them both at the same time. With his mind he, had the all the unused furniture start to hover midway between the ceiling and floor and at the same time he spoke to her telepathically.

Kor (telepathically with DLS): 'See what I'm Saiyan. You unfortunately were fooled by my evil Alternate Universe Counterpart. I myself don't know what else he knows that he didn't use in that battle, but I am pretty sure that if he was holding back like I know he did that he probably didn't use many of the powers and abilities he has in his arsenal that he knows.'

Kor's little statement of 'fact' was as erroneous as his attempt to impress her son. Draco read his thoughts as he was forming them and as soon as the furniture started to hover, he immediately burned them. Parlor tricks, Kor? I had more respect for you than that. Yes, all Saiyans have some form of telepathy and telekinesis. We all learn that in elementary school. As far as the battle my mother had with your counterpart. You weren't there, so don't presume to know a damned thing about it. When was the last time...” was as far as he got before his mother put up her hand.

“That's enough Draco. A Dragon Prince does not need to defend his Queen for her actions, not educate the peon's on history. But he is correct about one thing Kor, you were not there. If you think for one minute that Kor/Reaper was holding back, you are mistaken. Someone holding back does not destroy several planets in a universe while trying to murder one opponent. You did not see the rage in his eyes when I lopped off his beloved tail in the final minutes of our battle and ate it. Nor when I started chopping him to bits thereafter. You didn't hear his curses or dying threats. There are certain things that Saiyans cannot come back from the dead from. I know their weaknesses. That's why I made sure to incinerate this every last remain. How I missed even a microbe is a mystery, but that is the only way he is here now. DemonLadySesshomaru was no longer being passive. Holding him fast with her telekinesis she lifted him off the ground and asked, ” How about I show you just how l could destroy a saiyan once and for all. This time, though, there would be no coming back from that. A dragon's digestive system does destroy all evidence of a saiyan. That l know from personal experience. That's what l should have done to the original Kor's body.”

She was about to transform and do just that when Draco put his hand on her shoulder. “He is not worth it Mother. Besides, he is this Reaper's enemy also. Let him live at least for now. If he proves unworthy, you can always kill him later.”

Still holding Kor firmly with her mind and blocking him from telepathically communicating with her futher, she said. “You are lucky young saiyan. You have a champion in my son. Be grateful he was here, otherwise, you would not be.” Then just as easily as she had picked him up, she dropped him hard on his a**. “And if you ever telepathically talk to me that way again, I will burn your telepathic nerves out. Beware young one. You are no match for me. I am older, wiser and far more experienced that any you have ever dealt with. I was trained by the Father, you were not. Ask Sedhor, he can tell you. Only the Father bestows these abilities on his children. Sedhor may not like to think of all of the Father's children as his siblings, and that is fine, but he can tell you. Once the Father has trained someone, they are the best of the best.”

If she was expecting Kor to be terrified of her, she was obviously sorely disappointed since Kor enjoyed the spectacle she made of him. He knew someday they might end up fighting one another and he looked forward to that day regardless of whether the fight was a sparring match or one to the death.

Kor: "Your son speaks wisely. Killing me serves no purpose right now, not to mention it wouldn't work for the very same reason you couldn't kill Reaper. It wouldn't matter if you incinerated me, ate me alive, or disintegrated me on a sub-atomic level; I would survive just like Reaper did because ever single Universe I go to I leave behind multiple samples of my cells spread throughout the entire Universe. My Tsuful creators who are the ones you say I have hidden from everyone are the ones who taught me to do that. They afterall are the ones who designed me to be able to regenerate from a singular cell. Seeing as Reaper is my evil counterpart from Universe that I'm assuming is a Shattered Glass variant of my Universe, that would mean the evil Tsufuls that created him obviously taught him the same trick. See to kill either of us you'd hafta be billions of times stronger than you are since to permanently kill one or both of us would require you to destroy every single Universe we've been in and every single Universe that was spawned off from every single one of those Universes. For all intents and purposes killing either or both of us would require you to commit an evil far greater than all the evils that Reaper has ever done put together. You see even if you had the power required to kill one of us permanently, would you really be willing to become something far more evil than what you're trying to kill in the process?"

The Dragon Queen listened intently to Kor's explanation as to how Kor/Reaper could possibly be here now. “So what you are saying is, the evil entity here isn't actually the Kor I fought all those centuries ago, at least not in whole. I did destroy the entirety of what I fought that time. This thing here is just a replicant of that Kor. “ It made perfect sense now. DemonLadySesshomaru was relieved. ” I am glad to know I actually did do it right. So you bastards have spread yourselves like viruses throughout the multiverses. In order to rid ourselves of you all, I will need to do on a large scale what I did to save my dragons all those centuries ago. Remove the innocents to a brand new universe or two and then destroy all the existing universes? Even I would have a very hard time doing that. It took a great deal out of me to move four clans to an already existing universe and destroy four of them at once. “

Then Draco chimed in telepathically to his mother. In dragon-speak, which was something that only dragons could understand, even telepathically, he said, 'There is a way to rid us of them, but we cannot discuss it here. Let us discuss it when we are far from these that can listen in on our thoughts.' He knew his mother wasn't seeing the small picture here, she was concentrating on what Kor was saying, destroying the universes. Draco saw a much simpler way of ridding everyone of Reaper, or any saiyan for that matter, but he would discuss that with his mother somewhere when he knew they would not be overheard, verbally or telepathically.
