One wouldn’t think that Hades would be one for Art, but surprisingly he actually sorted of liked it. He thought about the assignment which was to pick three different colors. He ended up going with Orange, Blue, and red Red- in certain cultures Red is associated with life, health and victory. However it also comes with a darker connotation in that red can also stand for heat, destruction and evil. Red was also used as a way to denote status and wealthOrange- Orange in some cultures was the color of transformation. It got its name from saffron which at the time was used to make the finest and most expensive dye. It was also used as a way to show illumination, which for the cultures was the highest state of perfection. However since it’s also the color most easily seen in water or dim light Orange is often used for safety.
Blue- Blue is often used to represent the emotion of sadness. It is also the color that is most likely used to symbolize boys. In some cultures blue is commonly associated with torment, ghosts, and death and if watching a play in that culture if the actor has a painted blue face they are the villain. There all three done. Hmm people really thought about color didn't they?

Art would always be Foras' favorite class, he would never forget his art teacher even after leaving the Academy he was sure he'd remember Deskri and all that he taught him. For the Day's activities he had to pick colors that mean a lot to him; Purple, Red, and Blue!
Purple - To me purple is a color full of mystery. It can represent magic and spirituality. It can also be the color of wisdom and royalty. Purple dyes are hard to make and thus expensive.
Red - The color of passion and sometimes the color associated with anger and rage. You often see sales signs in this color or even bad guys in movies. It's the color of urgency as well.
Blue - I believe blue is most often a color of sadness, but I also see it as a color of renewal and freedom. I've also seen it used as a color to represent intelligence.
Alright, he felt goo about that and turned in hi assignment.

Amethyst thought about colors, she was considering taking business classes, and she wondered if she did open her own business law office if she would need to know about colors. Ame decided to look up calming colors, she popped up her browser on her tablet and started looking. Violet- Ame read that violet represented the future, dreams, imagination and was suppose to be spiritually calming. The color was supposed to heighten spiritual ability. To me I love purple. Ame laughed to herself since she was purple. Pink- Is most associated with charm, politeness, sensitivity, tenderness, sweetness, childhood, femininity, and the romantic. To me I think the color pink is a cute sweet color. Grey- Is considered an emotionless, neutral, moody color. Some consider it a dull, dirty, dingy color. I personally think grey is a soft color that reminds me of rain clouds, which I feel mean rain to come, which is really important.

Colors? Kindle could do that. Her mind wandered, immediately latching onto the colors that meant the most to her; red, purple, and blue.
'Red - Red is often a romantic or passionate color, often relying on the extreme of emotions. A bright red can often indicate danger, or something alarming about to occur, while a deeper red can state lust or even a deep love.
Purple - Purple is often tied to royalty and spirituality. It is closely linked to magic of all kinds.
Blue - Blue can teether between calm and sadness. Deeper or dull blues hint at a loss of joy, while soft and pale blues show a peaceful still in the world surrounding it.'
That was.... good, right?

(( nepsah gave me permission to do this! ))
Unfortunately, the second Deskri said colors Eliza knew she'd be in for a rough time. She was blind, and as a result often didn't pay too close attention when colors or their meanings were mentioned. It was hard to truly understand something you'd never experience. Luckily, Deskri picked up on this and changed her assignment from colors to textures. Ah, she got this.
'Smooth metal - Smooth metal, to me, feels like deep loneliness. The cutting that greets you symbolizes a barrier put up, and the smooth surface echoes a life with little substance to it. There is not much exciting occurring, leaving a feeling that nothing good will come.
Rough (like sandpaper) - Passionate is the first impression I get. I feel warmth when I touch this, as well as a feeling of being on the attack.
Gooey - It feels alive! Alive and ready to embark on something spontaneous and free! It exudes whimsy, and a desire to just do anything one wants or desire. '

Colors! She loved colors! Chi flapped her wings in excitement (knocking several papers over!). Colors were easy!
'Pink, Pink is love and playfulness. Typically, you see it associated with youth! Purity is also associated with pink, but on the flip side it can hint at a more provocative side.
Yellow, Yellow is often associated with joy and happiness. Some harsher yellows yell danger is ahead, but typically yellow is reserved for the more playful side of life.
Green, Green often represents growth and fertility. The ability to grow and change! '

Maria enjoyed tasks like these. This was right up her alley, especially with her new budding interest in auras. This was an excellent exercise of her knowledge.
'Grey, While often observed as moody or dull, the color grey can also mean maturity. The color grey is linked deeply with having lost something, whether in the past or present.
Beige, Beige is a dependable color. While it is not used often and is a far less popular color, it means being flexible and conservative.
Brown, Brown is a warm color that represents health and friendliness. For me personally, I feel a rush of adoration, as brown is a color that relates to something I hold dear. '

Lace was pumped. Art class wasn't always her thing due to not liking the fact she often got messy, but talking about pretty colors? She got this!
'Pink, Pink symbolizes kindness! Romance and charm! Pink often is a light and sugary color, used to show innocence.
Purple, Purple is wealth (which I love), and royalty. Purple is power. It's used to represent the highest of class!
Black, Black is a bold and powerful color. It isn't just for death, but also fear and mystery. A truly frightening color!'

With a sigh, Lazarus tried to calm himself down from the excitement of his previous class. Now it was time for art. Even though he wasn't really great at drawing and such, he still decided to take the class. After all, he supported all the arts, not just music. When it came to picking three colors, Lazarus decided on three in no time. Purple, Purple means Ambition, looking forward to the years to come. It is always associated with the more etiquette ways of life. It can also be paired with creativity!
Blue Blue means Trust and Loyalty, especially with love. Intelligent as well, bringing in lots of wisdom with it. Reminds me of my girlfriend Odessa, who I trust and I am loyal to. She is also the smartest person I know.
Orange Orange means Excitement and Enthusiasm, always seems to be associated with the tropics for some reason. Orange is bright after all, it makes everyone excited just like the tropics do!

Melisara concentrated hard on the answer to the question, trying to ignore her ex-girlfriend two seats in front of her. Let's see...colors...
Red--red represents warmth and family. It represents strength, but a lack of wisdom, and a certain amount of recklessness. Most cultures associate red with blood, with passion, and with anger. I associate red with all of these to a certain extent, but to me it is a positive color.
Brown--brown represents sensibility and calm. It represents a connection to community and openness to new ideas. Brown is often associated with mundanity, but I do not think this is a negative connotation. Brown is a very practical color, and one that connects us with nature, not with technology.
Green--green represents new growth and new ideas. It represents speed--it is a command, go! Green is the color of spring and new beginnings of setting out on your own and making your own path. It is the opposite of red on the color wheel, but somehow its connotations aren't the opposite of red for me.

Jie smiled. She had some good color ideas for this class!
Blue is the color of the mind. It comes in many different shades, each with their own connotations for me:
Regular blue is the color of traditional ideas. It's the color of old-time wisdom, of proverbs, and of conventional wisdom. It represents ideas that have hold true throughout the ages, but it also represents ideas that have been overturned by the ages. Regular blue is also the color of the nation, of solidarity and of neighborhood.
Turquoise blue is the blue of the future. It represents new ideas and new beginnings. It is the color of technology and science, representing forward progress. It is the blue of optimism as well as crazy dreams that will never work. It is a rather unstable color to me, but beautiful nonetheless. It is the blue of the morning sky, representing fresh possibilities.
A deep, purplish blue is the blue of deep thinking and philosophy. It is the blue of long, dark ages, as it takes a very long time to come up with an idea. It's the color of the late evening sky, showing ideas that have been a long time in thought. Dark blue is also a very rich color, representing a great depth of thought and consideration.

It wasn't usual for Syndri to want much of anything to do with an Art class. However, they were studying psychology and sometimes the two branches of studies had some similarities and other times psychologists actually used art in therapy, so they thought it might be a good thing for them to actually explore. When they heard what the assignment was, they thought it was almost fitting since it seemed the teacher had the same idea they did.
Orange- Orange often represents enthusiasm, fascination, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction, success, encouragement, and stimulation.
Green- It is the color of nature. It symbolizes growth, harmony, freshness, and fertility.
Black- It denotes strength and authority; it is considered to be a very formal, elegant, and prestigious color.
He knew some people didn't consider black a color, but they did, which was why they included it. They nodded to themself, actually glad they had decided to attend Art class.

Name: Eidil Final Score: Roleplay Response: Eidil worked all night on her assignment--okay, that wasn't technically accurate, but it was certainly a couple hours. She made her project on bats (hey, she had a theme going on here, okay?), specifically on a proposal to install bat boxes in several city parks. She figured it was a good use of typing and showed some creativity. She wasn't sure what the teacher would think, but she was quite proud of her poster in the end, having picked a font with the nicest kerning she could find.(I played the game twice, once for each of my characters, and they both got the same score. [ Giggles])

Name: Zalir Final Score: Roleplay Response: Zalir's project was a motivational poster. Zey hadn't been sure what to do, and the motivational poster sounded like the most interesting. Zeir motivational poster featured a picture of an aetherjelly (one of Zalir's favorite animals) and an admonition to the reader to go with the flow. Honestly, it was the only jokey phrase that the Litch could come up with at short notice. Blushing at the cliche, zey turned in zeir assignment.
