The next plant was overripe and ended up crushing in his claws, much to his disgust. Oh, gross.... He stepped away to go wash off his paws before returning to the group.

Oh for the love of... the next plants he'd been pointed towards weren't ripe at all! He didn't want to risk killing the plant, so he wandered off to search for something else instead...

This day was honestly shaping up to be the worst. He approached the far garden area to see what was growing around there, only to discover that a hive of crocobees was busy attempting to pollinate (more like destroy) the plants over there and were not keen on Neptune coming any closer to them.

Finally, after Corben had spotted him having the worst time of his life, he found a plant to harvest... some harmless strawberries that had no bugs near them at all! Perfect! He managed to gather a nice little basket of them to hand in to the teacher at the end of class.... he likely would not be gardening anytime soon on his own.

You know, maybe Maria had a knack for this. She was surprised how easy it was to harvest a safe plant. Sure, there was a knick here and there, but the eggplant was out and ready to be washed and cooked, and that was all that mattered!

 Honey stifled a laugh when the teacher said the harvesting could be difficult. If anything they'd only chosen this elective because it seemed like it would be an easy pass. They sauntered to the nearest plant and plucked off a fruit - or, at least, that was the intent. Instead they squashed the tip of the thing, causing them to drop it in disgust and shock. "Eurgh..." they moaned, wiping their now-sticky hand on their pants. "You may have won the battle, but not the war!" they said bitterly, shaking their fist at the plant.

Determined not to miserably fail again, Honey toned back their ego and approached the next plant with more tact. "Hey buddy, how's it going?" they asked the plant soothingly, stroking the vine tenderly, as if it encouraging it to be nice. "Gimme some of that sweet, sweet sugar, baby," they murmured, before successfully plucking a fruit off the vine. After that Honey was harvesting like... well, not quite a pro, but they were pretty alright at it.

 Considering her roots, Vitacea was pretty confident in her ability to harvest some plants. With some gentile encouragement, she was able to get a nice, plump cucumber from its vine. She narrowly avoided some of the prickles along its sizes with some thick gloves, but she gathered them up and gave them to the teacher to grade.

 Divone wasn't quite sure how this class was going to end up, especially with some of the other students running into some problems with their harvests. She seriously did not want to find herself toe to toe with some crocobees, so she quickly chose the patch farthest away from them. She ended up finding a few good tomatoes, though one or two were a little bit away from being done. They could sit on the counter for a day and they'd be set though!

 Hades actually really liked plants. So it was a no brainer that he was going to end up taking Herbalism for one of his electives. He did notice that some of the students seemed to be having a bit of a problem with their harvests so Hades went in cautiously when he tended to the plants. Luckily everything went smoothly. Seems like his love of plants hadn’t failed him yet, He leaned down and thanked the plant for their efforts.

 Aleis wanted to get better at plants considering every time they touched one something horrible seemed to happen, from allergic reactions to the plant seemingly died days later. So they figured that herbalism had to help with keeping plants alive right? Nope… Their luck stayed about the same and now they were having a really bad reaction and their hand was covered in really red itchy hives. Oh it kind of hurt… but Aleis was going to keep on trying. No allergic reaction was going to keep them from completing the assignment.

Luckily the next time that Aleis tried the harvesting, even though they had to be really careful with the plant and get a pair of gloves they where able to successfully harvest the plant. Hah take that plant of course it was still Plant: 1 Aleis: 1 Oh well one day they would break the tie.

 Fey were supposed to be good with plants right? Or that was along the lines of what Mai had said when they both signed up for Herbology. Ren stared down at the plant and realized that bugs had gotten to the poor thing. So far his luck didn’t seem to be mirroring Mai’s statement. He wished he could help get rid of the bugs, but for the point of harvesting this planet wouldn’t work.

Luckily the tomato plants didn’t seem to have a bug problem. He unfortunately was allergic to tomatoes in the since that he couldn’t touch them but that was quickly solved when he managed to get a hold of a pair of latex gloves. Moments later he had managed to harvest a good three tomatoes that where ready for picking.

 Mai loved plants and so the second that she could she signed up for Herbalism dragging Ren along with her. While the strawberry plant did have some unripe strawberries on the bush, it did have what she wanted and that was fruit ripe enough to pick. She was able to snag six, although the temptation to rinse one off and eat it was growing really fast.
