Elsbeth nodded when Kevin asked to touch her wings. She watched his face as he did so, happy to see him smile. His next question made her heart pick up pace, her hands moving to hold onto him. "I...I want to stay with you. I don't want to sleep alone." It was a good thing they didn't have classes tomorrow. When he said it was okay to be upset she nodded, ready to speak. Then she felt his lips on her's.

Not being able to stop it, Elsbeth's wings perked up a bit, flaring slightly. It was such a shock that Kevin was kissing her, but she liked it. When their lips were no longer together she bit her lip, thinking. "Would you do that again?" Her cheeks were a bit pink, but she didn't care.

Adam shook his head and pulled her a bit closer. "Of course I'm not. You protected so many people today. I'm proud of you. I'm in awe of your power." He was glad to hear she would come to his room tonight. He wanted to make sure she was okay. "Then you can come stay with me."

Hearing her talking about killing people and losing her temper made him sigh. "Willow, you were amazing. Those things you killed weren't people. They were so twisted by evil that they don't deserve a second thought. You did the right thing." Adam looked at her for a moment, thinking. He couldn't wait any longer. Leaning down a bit, he kissed her, hoping this would clear her mind for even a moment.

Elsbeth held onto him a little tighter when he kissed her again. He made her feel like she could drop her walls, and that was exactly what she was doing. She had laughed more lately than she had in a long time. When he pulled back she hugged him, her eyes closed. "Okay. Let's go." She took his hand, walking with him. Then he asked about a shower.

"Yes. I'd like that. I feel like I smell like burnt flesh." Elsbeth frowned and then realized something. "Shouldn't I stop at my room? For clothes." She also wanted to put her sword somewhere she knew was safe. Although, Kevin would keep it safe.

Adam was glad that she wrapped her arms around him, his hands holding onto her hips. When she spoke he opened his eyes, a smile on his face. "Why? Because I like you, Willow. That and you needed something to make you stop being so hard on yourself. I figured that you would stop if I kissed you." He laughed and put his hand on her cheek.

Hearing her ask about going to his place made him nod. "Yeah. Let's get out of here." Adam stood up, picking her up again. When he got to his room he opened it and went inside. "Do you want me to go get you some clothes from your room?"

Elsbeth took her sword, heading inside the room. She put her sword away and then looked at her clothes, wanting to get something that she would look nice in. Once she had her things, she went back out to Kevin and walked to his room with him. If anyone said a thing to her about this not being right she'd snap. After what the two girls did today they deserved to do whatever they wanted.

The girl smiled at Kevin's kiss, putting her hands on his cheeks. "Listen, I know how to handle myself. I've been trained to be a warrior. You don't need to worry." Elsbeth kissed him and then let go, grabbing her things and heading into the bathroom. With the door shut, she got undressed and got in the shower. Once her makeup was all off she got out and put on a pair of shorts that went about mid-thigh and an over-sized t-shirt. She brushed her hair out and then went into his room, her hair curling slightly.

Adam nodded and went to his dresser, looking for something that might work for her. He found a t-shirt and a pair of shorts that were just a little small on him. He had won them at some raffle at the school store. Apparently they were going to come in handy now. "Here. You can wear these. I'll go into the bathroom and change." When she mentioned his room being nice he smiled. "Thanks. It's nice because I'm really the only student that comes down this way." The headmaster had redone an old room that wasn't used any more, wanting him to be a bit away from others.

"I'll be right back." He kissed her forehead and then went into the bathroom, changing into some pants and a shirt. It felt nice to be out of the suit, but he was also a bit disappointed. He wanted to dance with her more, but it had been ruined. He'd make it up to her. Next weekend he'd take her on a date that wouldn't get ruined.

Elsbeth smiled and leaned against him, loving how it felt to have his hands in her hair. "I don't know if you've ever told me that." She looked up at him and listened to him talking about worrying. "Well, next time you can stand by my side and fight...Maybe." He wasn't the only one that worried. The reason she had been so determined to fight earlier was to protect him and the other students. He was number one on her list though.

"You aren't sleeping on the floor. Why should you?" Elsbeth went to her bag, finding her toothbrush and toothpaste. "Can I have a few of those pictures from tonight? I don't want them all. That would be unfair." She went into the bathroom again, taking care of her teeth. When she was done she came back out, sighing quietly. Today had taken more out of her than she was showing.

Adam grabbed the pictures, heading back out to Willow. HE smiled at the sight of her there, the baggy clothes making her look adorable. "Here you are." He sat next to her and ran his hands through her hair, helping it get back to it's natural state. "Do you need anything to eat? I know you didn't get a chance to at the dance." He wanted to make sure she wasn't hungry. That wouldn't help a thing.

"I was thinking...what if we got away next weekend? Went on a date that won't get ruined. I won't let it." Adam was making plans already, hoping they would be to her liking. It was important to make her happy. Especially after today. She had done so much and deserved something amazing.

Elsbeth was getting a bit tired doing all of the grappling moves so she decided to make things interesting. Her father had said he'd probably be late so she wasn't worried about anything. She wrapped her legs around him, pretending like it was news to her that it was a bad move. When he flipped her she smiled, her cheeks warming up at his words. "Why would I ever do that on purpose?" She kissed him back, her legs still holding him. It was easy to feel his hand through her t-shirt and a jagged breath escaped her. Over the last few weeks they had been talking a lot and spending a lot of time together. He was always so careful and didn't try anything. Although he was a terrible flirt.

Her hand went to rest on his, and she was about to press up into his hand. That's when she heard someone clear their throat. Elsbeth broke the kiss and looked up, her eyes going wide. "Dad. I...I thought you were going to be late." "Well, things changed." Her father was a tall man, even taller than Kevin. He had dirty blonde hair that went to the middle of his back, the same shade of blue eyes as his daughter, and a a lot of facial hair. "Now, enlighten me. Are you on top of my daughter and touching her chest?" This was a great first meeting...

Adam always loved spending time with Willow, gladly getting to know her better. He really enjoyed tracing the outline of her birthmark, finding it interesting that it was the same as one that Elsbeth had. Except, that one he probably would never see. That was fine by him. It was on her hip and he never had the intention of seeing that. As parents day got closer he found himself hating it more and more. It was a stupid tradition. He was sitting under the tree reading when he looked up and saw Willow. A smile came to his face before getting up and going to her room. When he got into the room he closed the door and looked at her outfit. "That is a very nice outfit."

He took her hands and pulled her into his arms, moving to kiss her jaw and then down to her neck. "Are you excited to see your parents?" Adam kissed her jaw again, this time slowly moving toward her lips. When he got to the corner he whispered, not sure what had come over him right now. "You know what, let's not talk. I'm sure we won't be able to kiss much while they're here so let's make this time count." He pressed his lips to her's, his hands resting on her hips. He moved his hands down more, moving them so he could pick her up. Once she was up, her legs on either side of him, he pressed her against the wall and kept his hands close to her bottom.

Elsbeth's jaw dropped a bit at Kevin's reply, letting him help her up. "Well...you could have been like 'Oh, it was an accident.' Or 'She had me do it.'" She sighed and watched her father shake Kevin's hand. "I'm Axel." At least he didn't demand Kevin call him sir. It was nice to hear Kevin say they were in a relationship. He had never really said that before. His kiss made her smile, but she wished he didn't need to go. "Okay. I'll be by soon." Her eyes stayed on him as he left, not wanting to look at her father yet. When she did she could see a smirk on his face. "Oh, stop." The man laughed and shook his head. "I'm surprised you didn't throw the boy across the room." "And give you the satisfaction of seeing that? I don't think so." Axel took his daughter's hand and pulled her into a hug, both of them smiling. "I'm glad you're here, dad." "Me, too."

They walked together as Elsbeth explained what happened the night of the dance and her roommate. Axel was interested in meeting her, and she had a feeling that could be good. "So...are you going to tell me who my mom is?" Axel sighed and shook his head. "Honestly? I wish I could. She lied to me. She lied to everyone. I knew her from here, and then we lost touch. When I met back up with her I had been drinking a bit too much. Nine months later you were left at the house for me." "So you don't even know what she is?" "I know she's at least a witch. That girl had a lot of power in her." They stopped at her room so she could shower and change and then headed to the cafeteria. They entered the cafeteria to see a bunch of food everywhere. There was music playing and there was a nice dance floor. Maybe she could get a dance in with Kevin. Speaking of, was he here yet?

Adam squeezed her legs lightly, not wanting to pull away from her. That's when he heard a gasp. He froze and couldn't think what to do, but then Willow said to put her down. He nodded and let her get back on her own two feet, running a hand through his hair. Not the first impression he wanted, but there was nothing he could do now. He turned around and reached out to shake her father's hand. That's when the man said he could be dangerous. He frowned slightly, but only before Willow tickled him. He laughed and gently pushed her hands away, hating that she had found his weakness. Who had ever even heard of that? A ticklish vampire? It was pretty embarrassing. He listened to the little fight and then spoke up. "Sir, I would never hurt your daughter. I couldn't. She's the only one that has ever made me happy, and I can't lose her. I understand your worries, but you don't need to have them."

He looked at Willow and kissed her cheek, speaking quietly. "I'll let you talk to them alone. I'll be in the cafeteria." Adam excused himself and went to the cafeteria, sighing lightly. He noticed Elsbeth and waved, noticing her pull her father toward him. "Dad, this is Adam. He's my roommate's boyfriend. Adam, this is my dad." Adam shook his hand and gave him a little smile. "It's nice to meet you, sit." "Call me Axel. Sir makes me feel so old. Don't tell Kevin that though." A laugh came from the vampire before he held his hand up. "I won't say a word about it." He saw the girl in front of him look around for a moment before he realized what she was doing. "Looking for Willow? She's with her parents. Apparently they don't approve of my relationship with her." Axel frowned and shook his head. "That's not right. You might be a vampire, but that doesn't make you any more dangerous than any other person here." Wow...Elsbeth's father was actually really nice. "Thanks. Oh, and if you're looking for Kevin as well I think I saw him with his parents somewhere in here."

Elsbeth had gotten changed into a dark blue dress that had a sweetheart neckline and went to her knees. It was fitted at the top and then flared out a bit at the waist. She had simply pulled her hair into a ponytail, not wanting to mess with it much. She had just run her hands over her dress when she heard Kevin. Her eyes went to him, a smile appearing on her face. It felt so right to be close to him again. A blush came to her face when his mother complimented her, words not being able to form. Especially when the woman hugged her. She returned the hug for a moment, glad that his mom at least seemed so nice. Once released, she took Kevin's hand again and thanked his mother for the compliment.

When Willow came over Elsbeth listened to her, frowning lightly. "I'm sorry, Willow. Once they get to know Adam they'll see that he's not dangerous." She smiled and then heard a song from back home being played. Her eyes lit up and she looked at her dad who had a big smile on his face. "Kevin, I'm taking my daughter to dance." Elsbeth kissed Kevin's cheek and promised him to be back soon. She went with her dad to the dance floor, excited to dance. "Let's see how long it takes him to come over here." "Dad..." She smiled and shook her head, fighting the urge to smack his arm. He was such a teddy bear but pretended to be tough. They started to dance, both of them smiling and laughing.

Adam greeted Kevin's parents, wondering if they thought he was dangerous. Others of his kind had really given them a bad name. Not that he hadn't done horrible things in his lifetime. When Willow showed up he held onto her, rubbing her back. "It's fine. They're going to worry. They probably see you as their little girl still." He didn't want her being upset with her parents. Maybe he'd talk to them alone, explain the situation. He had gotten much better control over himself ever since he first drank from Willow. He wouldn't tell them that part, but he would let them know that he wasn't some kind of monster. They didn't need to worry about him attacking her and killing her. Even if he did attack her she could easily destroy him.

"You know what? I think after all of the parents leave we should start doing some research. The two of us, Kevin, and Elsbeth. We'll find out who your mom is. I'm sure Elsbeth wants to know, too." There was no doubt in Adam's mind that the two girls were sisters. There were too many similarities. "Maybe getting in contact with your mom would be beneficial for both of you." The woman could help them with their powers. He had also tried figuring out why all the monsters had attacked the school, but so far he had found nothing. Maybe they just wanted to kill a bunch of innocent kids that could end up destroying them.

Elsbeth was ready to go back to Kevin when the song ended, but he cut in. She smiled and started to dance with him, listening to his explanation. "It's okay. I'm just happy you're here now." Since meeting Kevin she had let herself relax here, showing her true self. The girl that loved to laugh and smile, the one that wanted to have people close to her. She had been fighting that, but not any more. Now she was working on keeping this wonderful man in her life.

"Your parents seem really nice." Elsbeth glanced over at them, seeing they were all distracted. "You know, my dad is just giving you a hard time. I'm his only daughter so he feels like he needs to protect me." She looked up at Kevin, speaking quietly. "By the way, I hope you really plan on picking up where we were interrupted earlier." Her cheeks became a little pink, her mind replaying everything that had happened. Minus her father walking in.


"We'll figure it out. Between the four of us we can do it." Adam smiled and rubbed her back, not wanting to tell her that Elsbeth had told him the same thing. Apparently their mother didn't mind leaving her children on doorsteps. Maybe they shouldn't find out who she was. What if she just ignored the girls? Willow's question snapped him out of his thoughts. A smile appeared on his face before taking her hand and leading her outside. "You never need to ask. Just tell me you want to go there."

It was strange to think that this had all started because Willow wanted to help him. That brave and selfless girl had captured his heart. Adam got to the spot with her, pulling her into his arms. "I want to take you out on a real date still." The one they had been planning on having after the dance had gotten messed up. Everyone was told they had to stay on campus until they knew the threat was gone. After that they had a bunch of homework to do. Maybe this time it would work.
