He didn't really want to move, but he did. Standing up he turned and pounced on Tama, rolling onto his right side so he didn't hurt his leg.
"I'm fine now. Thank you guys. And my leg still hurts a lot, but I can move now. Or at least stand and walk around." He nodded his head and pawed playfully at Tama's ear.
This was how it would be for a little while at least.

Tama flicked his ears playfully from Korou's paw so he couldn't get it he wanted to play but he guessed they where about to move soon anyway.
" I hope we can play soon Korou "
He said happily and waved his tail back and fourth. Then he looked at Zakiya what they should do next? he got up on his legs and streched out his body.

Tama was right in assuming they would be moving soon. She gives them a few moments, indulging in the silence, before she gets nimbly to her paws again. She glances around, checking for danger, as she had been doing frequently since she met the two cubs. Nothing. Good.
"Come on, you two," she says quietly. "We'd best start moving again."
Although she didn't enoy travelling in darkness as much as she did light, it would be benificial for them now. The cover of darkness would help them cross the lands unseen, a bonus when one was travelling with two young cubs.

His eyes sharpened slightly when Zakiya said to move. Rolling back to his belly, he peered around through the dusk. This was his favorite time of night to move, he would do perfectly right now. Springing up he landed on three paws and looked around.
"Where to? Which direction?" He asked brightly. He felt a bit better now that it was getting dark, now that he wouldn't be panting in the hot sunlight. Now that his eyes could focus better.
Well, eye.
Swivling his head and wagging his tail softly, Korou watched Zakiya to see where she wanted to lead them to next.

Hinotama bite Korous ear gently when he waited for Zakiya's answer or sign..what way would she choose? anyway was fine for him because he had no home what he rememberd..
" Yes witch way~~? "
He smiled brightly while he was holding Korou's ear in his mouth..he wagged his tail too and it hit Korou's tail a few times...he looked out in the night everything seemed safe for now but he let Zakiya make sure off that..

She smiled at them both, before turning and heading east, walking to the right of where they were standing. She knew this way better than any other; she'd come from this direction, after all.
"Stick close, both of you," she calls over her shoulder as she begins to stride at a slow pace, allowing Korou to keep up with her. He wouldn't be walking fast for at the very least a few days. But as soon as she found them shelter, it wouldn't matter so much.

Flicking his ear to get Tama off of it, he cast a grin at his foster sibling. He wrapped his tail around his brother's leg and pulled softly on it. He liked to play with him, even if he couldn't play as quickly.
Then Zakiya started to move. He knew that Tama would be able to keep up with her and he turned a soft color of red under his fur. Why wasn't he faster? Even with a hurt leg he should still be faster than this.
Trotting after her, he worked his leg so that he didn't put it on the ground. Sadly he actually moved faster with the hoping gait then he did when he was walking normally. It seemed to work.

Tama waited for Korou to move and when he did it was ok that he didn't move that fast his leg was still hurt..he wrapped his tail around him as support so it would be easier for him to walk...
" So anything special place you wanna take us Zakiya? "
He smiled towards her and wiggled his ears...he was curious off what things they could find on there way.

She shook her head as she glanced back at the two. "No, Tama, no place special. I know for sure of one place where there's shelter, but I'm hoping to find somewhere before then. The sooner we're out of sight, the better."
The only drawback of this plan was that the place she was referring to was a few miles away. A bit too far for Korou to walk, probably. So she was very much hoping to find something closer.

Korou pricked his ears up and looked around him as he walked over the packed earth, his paws working harder thanks to his left front leg being curled up the way it was. He didn't plan on using it at all if he didn't have to.
His tail wrapped around Tama's belly in return, a smile crossing his small face in thanks. He liked his brother, now he just had to get better faster.
The grass moved slowly under his large but small paws, taking him in the directioin that Zakiya was leading. His eye was sharp, to make up for the one that saw nothing any longer. He could see through most things now.
Most.
But his flaw was that his site, while impared a bit, was rather long. He could see all around him for up to a mile, but he didnt' like to use it. Thus the small cheetah had fallen out of practice. So when he tried to do it again with just one eye, his eye blurred and crossed slightly.

He didn't understand what he was trying now? closing eyes..what was he up too?
" Ok Zakiya i aws just woundering if it was a fun place but shelter sounds good "
He continued to help Korou..he peeked down ad his leg now and then what did happen to him how could he have met a lion that would try and eat him? Ok lion's didn't like cheetahs but he couldn't get that part at all...Crazy lions he mutterd..

She said nothing as her paws continued to make silent impressions on the ground as she walked, purple eyes scanning the surrounding area for a dozen things at once. She was probably being over-vigilant, true, but it was better to be safe than sorry, especially now she has cubs with her. She had no experience of looking after any before this moment, and she didn't want anything to happen to them due to a foolish oversight on her behalf. She'd probably be this way until she got into a natural rhythm and routine for caring for them both.
If only she knew these lands better. She hadn't taken the time to find anything remotely like shelter since she'd been here. Her only purpose for actually being in these lands was to find her brother. Around here was the last place she'd seen him, when they'd gone their separate ways. Here seemed as good a place as any to start looking for him in earnest. But that plan seemed to be halted now, due to the arrival of two rather unexpected cubs.

Glancing over at Tama, Korou winked with his sightless eye, it meant the same, had the same effect, but it didn't impare his vision at all. However, he simply kept on trotting, his eye scanning the landscape in front of them and around them.
Well, on one side at least. The right side.
Then something caught his eye, what was that?
"Hey Zakiya? What's that?" he said, trotting up to her as best as he could and pointing with his left paw over to their right side. It looked like a dent in the earth.

Tama tought that both Korou and Zakiya was so silent..was they really so concentrated? Tama tought more like a cub he tought all this walking wasn't so much fun at all and it just happend things sometimes..he sighed a little while he was walking next to Korou..
" Mrrrr...you see anything fun Korou? "
He blowed up his cheeks full off air he looked pretty funny and bored plus unconcentrated...poor Zakiya could a lot to do with rasing this cub..

Korou addressing her snapped Kiya out of her thoughts, and she came to a halt as she looked where he pointed. The femme let out a little laugh at what she saw. Seems she'd been so distracted with getting to this place she knew of that was safe that she'd somehow managed to overlook this.
"It's a cave, Korou. Wait here a moment, both of you..."
She padded away from them on silent paws, moving over to the mouth of the cave and touching her nose to the ground. There were scents of others here, but they were faint, as she'd hoped. This den had been unoccupied for a while now, which meant it was unlikely that the previous owner would turn up sometime soon.
She moved back over to her little companions now, moving behind them and nudging them forward, toward the cave. These two could use a decent night's sleep, and so could she. Now was as good a time as ever to get that much-needed shut-eye.
