Luka strolled into the dinning hall. Class hadn't been dismissed yet so it would make sense that barely anyone was there. What was little miss Luka in the mood for today? Probably just coffee for now, it'd be a good idea to try and wake up a bit. After retrieving her beverage and whatever else she decided to put in it, she walked down the isle, Sitting down at the far table closest to the door. She was so out of it she hadn't noticed her new companion was sitting near by. Sitting down on the wooden surface, she pulled out her phone and began fiddling with it. Taking a sip of her sweetened chocolate coffee every so often.

"Hm?"
A very sleepy individual brushed passed him in the process of getting drinks. It was definitely Luka. She had the expression of just waking up after winter hibernation. Well, atleast she wasn't sick. Though, she didn't even notice him. There was a bit of an awkward air as he still wasn't comfortable having to forcefully enter her dorm. Still, there wasn't anyone around and it'd be awkward to take a seat somewhere far from her in an empty room. He took his cup carefully, adjusting the fabric of his scarf before carefully taking a seat infront of the girl.
"Hello. I hope you are feeling better."
His voice quiet with the same tone as always. He only held the cup, waiting for the swirls of steam to diminish before he could remove his scarf to drink it.

Luka looked up from her phone, meeting eyes with the boy from earlier. "O-Oh.." Was that what happened?Did he help her to her room? Oh, that's right he did. Luka smiled awkwardly at him, shrinking into her hoodie once more. "Uh.. Y-Yeah.. I am, thank you.. Ste-Kun..?" She said his new nickname as if questioning herself if that was indeed the correct name she gave him. "I'm really sorry I made you help me, sometimes stuff like that happens and I need to sleep it off." She said softly, returning to her awkwardly shy state.

Her timid nature was never changing and always as expected. He knew sitting down would spook her to some point. She had more life than the frailty of her breaking point from earlier. Now, it was like that was never an occurrence. He was surprised she remembered anything that happened, guessing that the hysteria from her is what caused the unusual interaction. He wasn't one to judge, twisting his fingers in embarrassment to the thought of playing with her hair. Still, he gave a nod to the name, appreciative that she was able to recall.
"You didn't force me to act in anyway. I merely took the right option of a bad situation. It'd be more appropriate if you warned others. You could've been sleeping uncomfortably in a hallway without anyone knowing."
Stefan unraveled his scarf, exposing the half of his face that had been hidden for so long. His voice had more clarity now without it, and it showed more of his light complex and empty, expressive face. He took a sip of his coffee, having an eye on her.

Luka simply nodded at his question. "Mhm.. Luka.." She repeated, only able to stare at his uncovered face for a brief moment. Her face was shaded a deep red, she noticed he was a lot cuter without his scarf cover his face. Quickly her eyes darted to the table, her hands shoved in her lap, it was clear the girl was pretty tense. "S-So.. I was uhe-m.. Wondering." She began, shifting somewhat embarrassed. "D-Do you wanna.. Maybe.. I dunno.. Go to the fall festival with me? B-because you helped me out! It's the least I can do.."

"It's a nice name."
He sipped more of his coffee after the liquid heat finally cooled off enough to drink calmly. His thumb brushed over the cup, eyes wandering around the room. There wasn't much conversation and it was a bit disappointing. He wanted to learn more about this girl. He didn't really know what all she was like. He didn't even bother to ask about her illness. It was hard to just be able to mention something like that. He takes another sip, looking at her oddly move around. Was something bothering her? Was he bothering her? The question was struck quickly, an unexpected notion from her. She may have seemed shy, but she was straight to the point.
"Fall Festival? I don't know what that is, but it sounds fun. I'd be honored."
Stefan took another sip, eyes closed and pondering his thoughts. He honestly had no idea what a festival of any kind was and normal didn't hang out with friends even with the very little he had. It sounded like something new he would enjoy. It was all of platonic thought, though, as Stefan had no collection that a festival could even remotely be related to that of a date.

Luka's heart began to flutter in her chest. He actually agreed to it? She would've expected someone as cool as him to smoothly turn her down! Right? A small smile crept into her lips. She began to relax a tad more than before. Turning to the clock then back at him. The bell would be ringing for lunch soon. "That's great.. I'm.. Pretty sure you already know my dorm number..? If you want we can meet up somewhere else though. A-and its on until December so we have plenty of time to decide when its most convenient to go." Luka was trying a bit too hard. Calm down girly! "B-But anyway.. In class? When you caught that blade? It was super cool.. I could never do that."

"I wouldn't worry too much. It sounds like it would be a fun time. Whenever you want to, I would want to go."
Stefan swirled his drink around lightly in its cup. He never imagined friendships were so tense about things like these. It was only hanging out and payment for being nice. There was something bothering him.
"I apologize for the selfishness but December is a very distant future. I'd prefer to atleast know you somewhat until this festival. Maybe preferably after school today."
He offered with haste. Friends do things to them, and it seemed natural to ask for the two to associate on the spot. Yet, it seemed like she was uncomfortable about this. Not only that, but her face seemed slightly colored as if she still was ill along with her starry eyes glistening at him. Then she brought up the class moment. Cool? Peculiar, it was rare for those to find his abilities and skill impressive and exciting. It was rare. The only occurrences he could were remember were strangers and young children who accidentally spotted his ability.
"It was merely applying action to a given demonstration. There was nothing too exciting about a deflection. If there should be any excitement, it would be on my end to see the potential of a team with a Banshee on it."
Luka's face flushed even redder. Did he say what she thought he just said. "O-Oh.. R-Really..? That's wonderful! It'll give me something to do today since I'll be spending most of it back at my dorm." She smiled at him dumbly, lightly scratching her head. "After this I was going to go out and buy a movie or some sweets and just chill in my room or something.. At least I have something to look forward to now, huh?" Luka laughed nervously. Fiddling with the fingers of her hair she felt a small smile creep upon her face. But she didn't notice it at first. '...Am I flirting?'

"I was sure you would still be feeling inconvenienced after the incident. It would be no trouble to keep you company. I wouldn't recommend classes myself if you are filling so ill."
Her expression completely changed and it was actually pretty pleasant, making him give a light smile himself. He wasn't one to converse or hang out with friends himself. It was pretty nice. He always spent so much time just being alone to himself. It was even easier with someone like this person who seemed caring enough. "Movie. 'Sweets'. I see. I will go shopping for both then. Before the occasion. I don't know how your tastes vary but from the smell of your cup, I'm assuming you like chocolate."
The smile drifted from his face as it wasn't an expression he normally gave off. More as something he just got naturally when he did feel a good amount of genuine happiness.
Nico walked in and stayed against the wall, trying to stay secluded from the rest of the crowd. He walked up to the line and nodded when handed a tray. Like always, he stuck to a secluded corner. Thoughts of death started flickering through his head and he began to feel the pressure of his mental state. "Why did it have to be depression, of all things?" He muttered to himself ad ate silently.

Luka smiled even wider. "I hope its not too much trouble.. But thank you!" Eventually, he had been so nice to her that she didn't questions his actions anymore. It felt wrong to. She gave off another nervous laugh at his assumption. "Mmhmm.. Chocolate and fruit flavored things.. I.. Really anything that tastes sweet." Luka giggled. "Oh.. Are you sure you don't want me to come with you? I kinda feel bad making you go off on your own like that for a stranger--Oh.. Whoops.." The girl realized she had worn her hood up the entire day. Reaching up, the tiny girl pulled her hood from her head, allowing her brown knee length hair to fully drape over her. She had brushed before she left her dorm after her nap so it wasn't nearly as messy as it could have been. "But anyway.. Don't you plan on eating anything else..? I have food back at my room so I was just gonna head back before the bell rang."

He took a bite of the bread and spat it back out. "What the-? It's stale..." Setting the bread back down, he ate the pudding. It was fresh but he couldn't taste it as well. he was feeling gloomy and down. Anya flashed into view for him before blinking out. Nico knew she was worried about him constantly but there wasn't a thing she could do. He stood up with the tray and proceeded to the trash bins. He wore a deep frown on his face. Not paying attention, he tripped. The tray scattered across the floor as pudding splattered over his shirt. he swore under his breath holding his shirt out to look at the pudding. It got on his jacket, too. Nico crawled to the tray and picked it up with a hopeless sigh. "Never fails." He looked around, hoping no one had noticed his blunder.

Luka heard the sound of something drop and items scatter. But she was too preoccupied to have been startled by it. Looking over her shoulder, she excused herself from the table, calmly making her way towards the boy. "Excuse me.." She murmured in her soft usual voice. "Let me help you.." Luka then bent down, picking up the small container and throwing it away, also calmly taking his tray from him and placing it on the counter. She then walked backed to the small pale boy, muttering something under her breath. Her brown eyes gave off a soft shine and before they knew it, the pudding stain on his shirt was gone. Luka smiled warmly at him, patting his head before walking back towards her table, grabbing her coffee. "I'll meet you back at the dorm, then?" She questioned Stefan, before quietly walking away back to her cozy dorm. EXIT

Nico winced as the girl touched his head. He looked to his shirt and was amazed. "That's kinda cool..." Nico looked up but the girl had already left. Nico stood up and frowned. The depression had seemed to ease up a little. He smiled weakly. "I... I can do this... " He checked his pockets for his dorm key to no avail. His head dropped. "And there it goes... Someone must've pickpocketed me... again..." He had only been here a couple of weeks but in that time, he hand been pickpocketed twice, this would make three times. Nico promised himself he wouldn't use his power. He hated them more than he hated being picked on. Twice, he had tried to die but he wasn't able to. Even when he was thrown into the river, he thought it would finally be over but he had somehow managed to recover even from that. Of course, he wore a glove to hide the skeleton that was his still functioning hand but that was something weirder than her could imagine. That morning, it seemed the hand had started to grow back muscle tissue. It was more concerning to him whether or not school would be the same as it had always been, depressing and monotonous. the girl helping him, however, he was not expecting. It brightened his day a little and made him realize that he could get through today, at least.
