It was the final day and Maihue didn't know if she would ever get a delicious tasting cupcake. She walked up to the booth and took a cupcake. As she bit into it, she could taste the hot pepper that she had always tasted. She threw away the cupcake, and with one final nod at the booth owner, she walked off to get what she hoped was her last emergency glass of milk.

Stryke slinks over to maybe get another nummy cupcake since the one he had was so good...hopefully it isn't made of satan's tears.
Nope. It was made of hell-fire and brim stone. Stryke was gone, gone into the night as he fanned his poor tongue translucent yellow tears streaming down his face. He just didn't like spice, no matter how sweet and delicious these cupcakes were. However, he did buy a boxed collection of none spicey ones, pleased at least those were safe...hopefully.
