Eilidh had been eying the pretty flowers from afar for the last few days. Realizing that the booths weren't going to be open much longer, the young tealblood decided to join in on the fun. She'd observed others play the game and was feeling rather confident in playing. Taking the five ping pong balls, she began her first attempt at the game.
Feeling confident at her last try, Eilidh smiled a bit. She did like flowers and the ones they had at this booth were really beautiful! The tealblood looked over to her Papabear, who was lazying about, then looked back to the booth. She looked down to the little ping pong balls then picked them up for a second try. Focusing, she started to throw at her targets.
After making it into the hardest vase twice again, Eilidh perked up a bit. So many pretty flowers she could get! She looked over to troll in charge of the booth with a small smile. "How'd I do?" she questioned, unsure how to quite count up her points.
"Not a botanist?" Dictys asked, raising eir eyebrows at the very floral display. "Then what precisely do you do?" Ey gestured at the pots and seeds and...foliage. "You know, I'm certain the military would be very interested in a troll who knows things about...whatever these are."
It was a blunt hint, perhaps, but it would behoove her to enlist, either way. And she did want to enlist, didn't she? Ey moved to take five balls and toss them haphazardly into pots, smiling in satisfaction as all of them made it home in some fashion. Certainly, none of them found their ways to small pots, but they were still...getting there. Accurately. That was lovely.
Ey grabbed another set of balls, rolling them around in eir palm as ey considered the potential of this. "Or perhaps you have another talent you're hiding?" Dictys fixed eir braid with eir free hand, and then turned back to face the booth's proprietor. Sure, the approach ey was taking with this troll was aggressive, but there weren't a lot of booths that were connected to potentially useful abilities (what could guns or darts do in space? Or - gasp - role playing? But the ability to cultivate a successful spaceborne microbiome was of utmost importance for feeding a crew, something of immense interest to Dictys.)
Trendi found his way back at the flower booth, seduced by the pretty smells that was coming from it. He admitted, he still was intrigued by the spiny one, and it's possible ability to survive his dad. He picked up his first set of ping pong balls, and eyed the various targets. He could do much better than last time. So what if he was shaken from sugar intake. So what if he sucked at aiming. He had this.
He picked up the ping pong balls from his previous throws, and found himself staring at the targets again.
"It's.. so.. so hard to aim at these things, yes. But I try again?"
He silently took aim, and let loose another flurry of random ping pong balls towards their targets. Much to his surprise, he seemed to have done a little better this time. He approached the counter, eyeing the spiny plant longingly. He went to pick it up, only to stick himself repeatedly.
5 + 5 + 5 + 10 + 5 = 30
+ 16
Total = 46
( I think I'm retarded, and could have claimed the cactus a long time ago. >_> ...)
It had been a few days since Hazmas had visited this booth, but since the action had died down a bit, he decided to take a few more tosses. He figured he won the venus flytrap last time he came, but he'd gotten so caught up in the Bloodfest, that he hadn't bothered to claim it.
'Well, there's always this time,' he thought with a shrug. Taking up the tiny balls, the green blood gave the booth troll ad broad smile and tossed them at the jars.
Skill won out. "Custom, eh?" the green blood murmured, slipping his hands into his pockets. "Well, uh, you wouldn't happen to have any Pitcher Plants, would ya?"
Seeing Maihue being distracted by other customers, Pragma was content to continue playing the games instead of waiting for a response. Grabbing his first batch of 5 balls, he began taking aim.
Total: 30
((are quest characters allowed to get plants and such? I thought we weren't allowed to collect on prizes? :o but if we can, I'd love one of your plants as well))
Grabbing the next batch of ping pong balls, Pragma continued taking his shots. Achieving his highest score yet, he smiled proudly and spent some time looking around at the plants that were scattered about the stall.
Total: 30 + 30 = 60
