"Well, I know Ven's around here, and so-are-the-other-Michieru's. But you se-" Trip stammered, before a girl moved over with a rough voice, the boy stifling a shriek from surprise. A quick glance stole towards the girl as she more-or-less pushed through him made him visibly pause.
Yeesh....Someone's in a bad mood. he thought, hastily scurrying closer to Sera as the girl moved by to look at the stage.
"M..must be a popular group." he called to Sera, trying his best to avoid provoking the girl. HIs thoughts had shifted from the awkward bits with Koji at this....And hopefully, he could avoid that topic until the others were present.

"Well, at least that is something." The Michierus were a big bunch after all... Good thing they stuck together. Though... there were still a lot of them missing, then. "Alright, so...the Michierus are counted for. Io and you are here as well...and I can only imagine Necromonium is with her. They used to stick together... That makes six or seven. I am not too worried about the twins. Anzu and Mashiro can manage on their own... " Sera thought out loud, tapping her chin lightly. "I can only hope Aeon is with Narue...What about San? And Kuzaku? And oh, Bel...tell me he isn't causing havoc out there. Oh, there are so many of us!" The pinkette frowned a bit, and opened her mouth to ask another question when a voice behind barked at them to move.

"Excuse me! There's a lot of space around. If you'd just step to the side, you'd see the concert perfectly fine. No need to- Hey! Don't go around pushing him like that." The girl seemed to be in a nasty mood, but that didn't mean she could just go pushing others around. "And you Trip! Just don't shrink away like that! She was rude! She should apologize!" Sera grumbled, before her attention shifted to the change in topic the redhead had proportioned to her. "Well, of course! They are Nyx. I am so excited to see them. My..." she lowered her voice, and covered her mouth a little to muffle her words "...my dad is in this band. It's been so long since I've seen him, Trip." Her mood brightened after that tiny slight, her attention returning to the stage. "He isn't here yet, though..."

::Koichi Mori, the Prince of Ruin and Touma Makushima, the Heartbeat of Nyx::
"Two souls whose paths should never have crossed along the echoes of time..."

It wasn't his reunion. That thought remained at the forefront of his mind as he watched Sera talking with her old friends, keeping his commentary to a minimum as they discussed the paths that lead them to this place across worlds and considered where the rest of the children of the future had landed. There was something uncertain and nerve-inducing about the mention of his brother to Trip, however, and a Mori wasn't one to let anything like that, no matter how subtle, go unnoticed. His unwillingness to talk about it meant they would have to find out at a better time, however. And even his own nagging curiosity wasn't enough to make the Prince of Ruin want to interject and ruin was appeared to be a very important moment for his companion. This reunion with friends thought lost, the concert where she would finally see the father that she had missed for more than two years now...even if he was younger and would not know her...and this world that they never thought they would be able to see together...her face was bright and joyous as it had ever been. Their world had been so lost and broken...their lives so long without hope...he had always been sheltered in the capitol but even he knew that look. It was the spark of life roaring back to life inside of each of them. They needed this. They had always needed this, a moment like this, a world like this, to truly be alive. And now, thanks to his father...to Aeon's father, to hers and so many others...they could live. It brought a curl to his lips that he couldn't fight down, even as he stored away his questions about Koji for later.

...And then the stage dimmed and a spotlight fired on, surrounding the drum set with a brilliant light at the conclusion of the second song. Moody and beautiful as the first had been and light and romantic as the second had been, he had a feeling this still wasn't the real sound of 'Nyx', not from what Sera had told him of her father's stories. After all, half the band still wasn't here...but that was a problem soon to change.

"Sera..." the young Prince's hand placed itself over her shoulder and turned her towards the drumset where the light had come on, nodding in that direction casually as his tiny smile grew a little wider, "He's here..."

...

And there he was, bursting out from behind the curtains to the rapturous cries of the girls in the audience who immediately recognized the pink-haired rebel drummer of the nationally famous group. Arms spread wide and his million-watt smirk plastered upon his face, he made his entrance with all of the grandeur that one might expect of a true star attempting to stand out on a stage full of them (and doing mighty well at it). His fingerless gloved hands closed and opened as if to soak in and coax out all of the applause that could be managed as he twirled where he stood and with a twitch of his wrist a pair of drumsticks seemed to appear out of nowhere, his long legs carrying him up to the set and into the spotlight with a swagger that screamed rock and roll. All of the understated confidence and subtlety in Yuuya's performance and the restrained perfection of Gin as a leading man was replaced with bombast and energy in the form of Touma Makushima. His burning, satisfied eyes dismissed the keyboardist's attempts to wave and smile politely at him and turned instead towards the leading man, making sure that his lips were nowhere near the microphone when he called out over the deafening hum of the speakers so that only he would hear.

"I knew you couldn't get out of the game, you b*****d! Little small for a return gig, though," Touma glanced back out at the crowd as he slowly took his seat at the drums and measured his space, finding pedals with his feet and adjusting the microphone in front of him...as a drummer he wouldn't have the chance to bring it closer during the performance, so it had to be near enough now that they could hear his voice when he had the chance to sing, "No half-assing it just cause the place is smaller than we're used to...got it? Good! This time, I'm taking the lead...you guys fall in line. If we're doing the school thing, I know just the song..." He offered a nod towards both this time, before leaning forward to his microphone and glancing out at the crowd...scanning, seeing many faces that were unfamiliar. Green hair, violet hair...was that a girl with pink hair? Huh...she reminded him of someone now that he got a look at her...but this wasn't the time to be distracted by the girls in the front row and he sent the girl a playful wink before returning his eyes to the crowd. No sign of the girl from the club yet...he was confident she'd be here, though. But the time for waiting was over...the time for kicking a** was now!

"Let's Rock!"

He cried out into the microphone to a chorus of cheers...and then without hesitation his drumsticks began to mete out a thunderous beat on his array of percussion. He knew the right song for a school, indeed. And if the staff thought that the material was inappropriate, well, they should never have invited him in the first place. Touma didn't tone down his style for anyone.

And there he was. He was good, Luvia had to accept as she admired the way the pink haired drummer basked in the applause and cheering from the fans after his flashy entrance. The white haired girl couldn't help the smirk at the whole show, shaking her head at him lightly. The rockstar hadn't been wrong when he said she'd have fun in this place...even if she admitted a concert was the last thing she had imagined. She had never seen Nyx live, though... so this was a great opportunity. More so if this was free.

He was enjoying this, Luvia could see...and well, he really was born for this kind of thing. He was in his natural environment...rocking, appealing to the fans and being so very talented with those drums. It wasn't just mere show, either... the whole band was good in what they did without the help of playback or lip-synching, like many embarrassing accidents she'd seen some other musicians go through. For a moment, Luvia wondered if Nyx had ever resorted to such tricks, but imagining Touma's indignant answer was enough to dissuade the girl from the question. Still a smile graced her features as her head bobbed with the music... the atmosphere was contagious. For now, she'd enjoy the good music...and the good eyecandy.

...

And there he was. Sera stared at the stage starstruck, completely unmovable, completely silent. There he was in all his glory, taking in the cheers and cries of fangirls before sitting and start rocking. It was all so bizarre...seeing her father so young, so handsome, so...so... badass! Gosh, was he badass! The stories he had once told her made no justice to this! This was something magical! She thought he might have winked at her, and the pinkette snapped from her trance, a smile brighter than the headlights on the stage growing on her lips. "Koichi! Do you see him? He's so awesome! I think I might cry!" The girl bounced on her place, before giving her boyfriend a tight hug. She was excited, she was happy. It had been so long. Two years since she had seen him last...only to think she wouldn't be able to see him again. Her parents had sacrificed themselves to save her; to save the last of the kids from being overrun by the Corruption. To see this familiar face with no worry in the world... to see him again, even if she knew this person wasn't exactly her father, and he wouldn't have any idea of who she was... It was enough for her.

"Yeah! Nyx!" The pinkette moved with the music, jumping and dancing, only to bump into someone behind her. The pinkette gave the person a quick, mindless apology, before having to turn back and look at the actual head of white hair she had just bumped into. Eyes widened at the sight of a young woman with short white hair, a slight reproachful look in big eyes. "Mom?!- Uuh...mom..ents like these get me super excited!" Yeah, she had nothing..."Aren't they great?! They are just so great! Aha...ha...ha." Without warning, the girl tackled the white haired artist. She saw the opportunity... and she took it.

Luvia arched her eyebrows at the sudden and weird change in the girl's mood, before tensing as she felt the lost of personal space. Luvia patted the girl and stepped back, feeling slightly uncomfortable. There was something about this girl that made her feel...so strange. "Woah there! It's alright...just...Yeah. He is...A-ah! T-They are really...good."

It was impossible to miss the way the white haired girl's gaze strayed back to the drummer again and again, and Sera couldn't help the little knowing smile on her lips.

What were the odds of meeting them both this same night?

Mikoto Hageshii
Member of the band Nyx
Class 2-2

'...and I'd give up forever to touch you, 'cause I know that you feel me somehow.'

Was he late? Nonsense! He'd been here the whole time, even through the weird Yuuya debacle! Okay, it wasn't a debacle...but did he even understand what sort of band they were!? Well, it seemed like they were all having fun, so there was no need to stick to their New Rock style he supposed...but if anyone had missed it, he'd slipped in the moment Gin entered the stage, so Touma couldn't yell at him for being the last one there later! Even if he really wanted to. Though, i-if he did, Mikoto wasn't going to argue back...nothing good ever came from that. "Tch, don't make me remember that party. It was so boring...what about that night at Club Escapade? The time they held a karaoke contest, and Touma got paid the bouncer to let us in? Pffft, I can still see the manager's face when he threatened to replace Touma later, and he just waved him off..." Mikoto snickered at the memory, but there was a more important detail in there; the song that he'd chosen when he got up on stage that night to make the ladies swoon. There was no way they could forget, considering he'd taken a classic pop song and turned it into as gritty and grungy a rendition as he could perform...based off a certain band he still remembered fondly, of course. Mikoto grabbed his mic as a signal, and gave a bit of a fist pump as the others followed his lead. Touma began jamming the drums almost instantaneously, a smooth transition only he could manage on the indelicate instruments.

"Alright boys, this really needs to have that live feel. We need to fool everyone into thinking we're really in the studio together, playing one of our favorite tunes from the 80s." Mikoto said, bringing back memories of that night in Iwatodai...and in turn, quoting Harvey Danger, though it was pretty unlikely anyone knew that part. "She`ll only come out at niiiight~, the lean and hungry tyyype~. Nothing new, you've seen her here before. Watching and waiting, she's sitting with you, but her eyes are on the dooooor~." The tone was as dark as the room itself, but the rasp in Mikoto's normally perkier voice only added to the serious tone of the entire melody, hammering home the instinctual depths of the song harder than any simple karaoke probably could. It was clear that they'd practiced this one a time or two, for whatever reason, and the look in Mikoto's eyes almost seemed to follow suit with the change in Genre, a dead sort of Grunge that mimicked that of the type of music he was best at. Had they thought that Mikoto was the most joyful of the bunch? But at the same time, his singing tended to bring out darker emotions than the others much of the time...perhaps only Touma's love of Death Metal going deeper then Mikoto's own. He was definitely the one with the most experience in different genres, having spent his whole childhood studying the art, after all.
