"Those are my favorite gigs," she said cheerfully. "Well those and the ones where Shydyl does her 'terrifying' bob cat routine," she giggled. "We've had a few fun rounds with that. Might have pushed it too far that one time with the berry juice I added for effect," she flashed a wicked grin. "But I've never seen a bunch pick up and run so quickly, left all their good at the camp of course. Easy pickings..."

He chuckled, just imagining that. "Ah bet... Ah'd've love ta see t'at." He shook his head slightly. "Most o' my cons involve 'ustling. But t'en, Ah've not got yer luck wiv partners." He gave a respectful nod to Shydyl.

"Sometimes it seems like forever," the mare said thinking on it. "I don't have a whole lot of memories without her being around. Just lucky like that, I guess." She flashed a grin at the cat who had taken to cleaning herself. unknown to the filly the cat considered herself fortunate as well. Where else would she find such entertainment?

Paelor nodded his agreement, though he wasn't certain if it was luck or an ulterior motive on the cat's part. The two were clearly good friends, which he had heard was a good thing for familiars and their soqs.

"Besides," Viatyl continued cheerfully. "She is a great partner for the type of things we do. Especially if things go bad, although not as bad as they went today....today was a bit past our limit."

She cringed, "Might have to move my work a little closer to land that's in hospitable to their kind in the future. Just as soon as I figure out where that land could be..."
