Meriko Re: re-sizing artwork to fit avatars. ...people DO that?! o_O yeah.. I saw someone once who did that and charged like, 1K for one.. they got shut down I think... but what ummmwhy does isn't bad. At least that price is fair 3nodding ninja and this is really offtopic, but I love your imagemap pic in your sig... does is change whenever your mouse goes over it? If so, can you give me the code, please? xd

Shaolin: Ah, well...somehow it seems like cheating to just re-size official artwork and resell it as a cosplay ava edit. ^^; Meh, but they're cheap, too. What I would have a problem with is someone doing that and charging me obscene amounts of gold. If I'm going to pay out the nose for an edit, I want it to be hand drawn. Sekkei: The image itself is just an animated gif that "slideshows" four different images. ^_^ Here is the link to the Gaian thread which tells you how to make a clickable image-map sig picture: http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2469814

~MonOphObiA_kEi~ I went ahead and edited the avatar myself. I added another item (Red Goth Lace Skirt) so that would be another 80g. I owe you 540 in total, and I will be sending the trade soon. I hope it came out alright. This is what I ended up with. does anyone else hate this?? people comming to you and saying "hey..i took your edit and put it together myself, i sent the trade. thanks." stressed i didnt want to do it. but im going to. time to put "sample" across everything again

Noflutter: I thought I was the only one this happened to. ^^; Meh...at least your...thief-customer hybrid?...did decent work. Mine left stray pixels all over the place and didn't even align the clothing properly. It looked like shyite. And then she had the gall to ask me if she could work for me in my avatar edit shop to make gold off of MY designs. I was dumbfounded.
I thought about adding "sample" to my shop stuff, but many of my customers put the finished works into their sig, so all a thief would have to do is browse through my thread to pick up all the finished orders out of people's sigs anyway. ^^;

NoFlutter, I totally understand your pain =( Thieves are bad enough, but sometimes people that don't know that they're doing someting wrong is just as bad. I've been through a few of those situations myself *sigh*
There there Judyfay Sins *pats* Hopefully other people will be able to appreciate the extra effort you've put into your edits and give you the credit you deserve. 3nodding

NoFlutter yeah i was thinking about putting my NBC set in my sig to show them off >< but i have this feeling they will be stolen >< gonk *quotes Agent smith from the Matrix* Its inevitable..Some people know how to find their way around to finished avatar edits. I put sample over my avies, even though I never liked the way it looked. so I decided to put sample on the back with a little of it on the avatar. I feel thats much better sometimes without being too much. Its BLEH.....but much safer knowing you have it on.. sweatdrop
