GOOD MORNINGOliver couldn't help it, he leaned back slightly as Harley got close, but somehow it was easier to say embarrassing things like that in a whisper. She confirmed, and he nodded. He wanted her to stay. He wished she could have kept her voice to a whisper too, so it would be easier on his pride. "Um... sorry..." He said, a little louder than his question had been, but still in a meek tone.

CHEERS!Oliver took another drink, the last of the flask Finn had brought, and made a face once again. It was a little less vehement than his last expression of distaste, perhaps it had just burned away all his taste buds by that point. "I still think this must be what spray paint tastes like..." He mumbled, handing the empty flask back to Finn. When Ripley pulled out the fresh bottle, Oliver eyed both his companions with suspicion. "Are you guys going to drink all of that?" He asked incredulously, unable to fathom how an entire bottle of alcohol could be downed before the infirmary staff on duty kicked the two of them out. It took a second for another thought to hit him. "You guys can't get drunk in the infirmary!" The bandaged kid whispered. "Or wait... um... can hunters even get drunk?"

Cheers! Finn took pride in the answer that Ripley gave Oliver. Great pride in his ability to wake Ripley up on nearly a nightly basis, for one reason or another. Usually just one reason though. Finn really enjoyed the one reason a lot. At Ripley's killjoy attitude, Finn could only scoff a laugh. "Okay fine. Maybe we should move the celebration to my room later. My new, bigger, better room with no neighbors." A knowing grin was given his not-boyfriends way. As for Oliver. "You heard the man. One more drink. Better make it a good one." Because really, what was the point of fighting Ripley on this? In the end, Finn would get what he wanted, one way or another. He really didn't feel like he could lose. "Well, probably not all of it." Finn admitted. "We'll find something else to occupy our night with I'm sure." And then. "Yes. Yes, fortunately, they can. I'm pretty sure that's one of the only ways some people deal with their existence on this island."

HI HELLO HI! "OLIVER!!!" Came a loud and excited yell as his curtain was slid to the side, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Look what I found in your room!" Lydia held her arms out in front of her, and in her hands was a shiny, spiffy, brand new intermediate jacket. Best not to ask her what she was doing in Oliver's room.

you say goodbye, I say KIA ORA MATE
"Nah," said Arorangi, waving a hand dismissively. "I never really cared for television, anyway, so it was not a big deal. Video games were something I had heard of, but never played myself, but they have been fun to play with now! I have played a bit," he added, smiling brightly.
He gave a nod that made his dreadlocks bounce against his broad shoulders. "I could bring you some, little bird, if you are wanting hot chocolate."

HI HELLO HI! Thankfully it didn't even occur to Oliver to ask. Instead he had a more important question. "What is it?" He asked, in a volume that was much more appropriate for the infirmary. Looking at the item she held out, it was a jacket that looked very much like his own, with tan and gold trim. It wasn't his coat, did someone leave it in his room by mistake? Oliver smiled. "Someone must have thought it was mine, any thoughts on who it might belong to?"

you say goodbye, I say KIA ORA MATE"They are a ton of fun, you should try Monster Hunter!" Oliver offered enthusiastically. "If I ever get a DS, I'll teach you how to play!" Oliver shook his head with a smile. "I-it's okay, I don't really need any hot chocolate. But... I can't keep it all here," he said, gesturing to not only the plush dinosaurs, but the shirt and the mug. He ducked his head slightly. "I-if it's not too much trouble, could you, um, drop some stuff off in my room?"

you say goodbye, I say KIA ORA MATE
Arorangi looked excited at the prospect. "Yes, yes, please do!" he said enthusiastically, and slapped his knee. "I would very much enjoy learning how to play this hunting of monsters game!"
He pushed himself to his feet and reached out for some of the plushies, gathering almost all of them except for one into his arms with an easy sort of grace.
"Is there anything else that you would like?"

you say goodbye, I say KIA ORA MATEOliver grinned, an action that hurt his face, but was a cheering feeling nonetheless. "No, I don't need anything else..." He said, and then added on top, "I promise!" For a second it looked like that were it, but then he continued in a smaller, more timid voice, " Thank you, for visiting..."

The Thought That Counts"Oh..." Molly trailed off in a thoughtful hum, chewing slowly on another bite of her cookie. Her eyes drifted up to the ceiling for a moment before she looked back at Oliver. She gave him an apologetic smile. "I can imagine...! I think they have your best interests at heart though? So if they want you to stay here longer, I...think it's for good reason...?" She trailed off once more. "Would you like me to get you anything?" She was thinking from his room if he needed something to make his stay in the infirmary more comfortable.

The Thought That Counts"I hope so... I suppose they just want me to heal well." Oliver didn't sound too convinced, he had been out of the infirmary while more damaged than this. At least that's what he told himself, everything was sore and bandaged so much sometimes he couldn't tell exactly where his wounds were. He munched his way through yet another cookie. "I think I'm okay," he replied with a smile. "Thank you for visiting, i-it's really nice to have visitors..." The kid trailed off as though having visitors was a new phenomenon to him. All day had been interspersed with friends dropping by, it had been amazing and exhausting.

HI HELLO HI! Lydia laughed. "It's an intermediate jacket, silly!" Of course, she thought that it was quite obvious that this meant that Oliver had been promoted. Until, of course, he said that it must have been put in his room on mistake. Her face fell. "Oh...I just thought....Oh dear hrm. No, no I mean I don't think I've seen anybody with these colors on their jacket before." She frowned, her arms lowering. Oh, wait! "OH! There was an envelope on top of it though!" And she hadn't even opened it up to read it! Be proud of her, Oliver.

GOOD MORNINGUnfortunately for Oliver, Harley's voice didn't often plummet down to whisper ranges. Which was why, when he asked her to stay, she said it as normally as possible, and perhaps even a little louder; after all, now she was excited.
"Of course! I can stay, I'm totally good at that." Grinning away and now grabbing her feet again, Harley scooted a little bit (and very awkwardly) to sit a little closer to the head of the poor kid's bed. "No sorries! We're friends now, right? You can ask me for anything! Did you wanna talk more? I didn't bring cards - I could find cards, if you want. Or maybe a game? Are video games a thing here?"

Cheers!Ripley enjoyed that reason too, even if he was a little less than appreciative of the lack of sleep the following morning.
"I'd like to see you try." Was Ripley's sardonic reply to Oliver's question about the bottle, but he did shoot a glance at Finn. Well, yes, he was sure there would be other ways to occupy time. It was inevitable, since he was up now, he imagined. Still, Finn's knowing grin was met with a small smile - that part would be fun, he supposed. "When you get out of the infirmary." He decided with a small nod; Oliver would be safe to drink crazy amounts, and Finn will get his way with making Oliver piss drunk for his birthday. Everyone won, including Ripley, who always won when Finn was in a good mood.
He pulled a thick plastic cup from his bag - since his glass ones were either dirty or he didn't want to carry them - and poured two fingers of whiskey into it. It was then handed to Oliver, with some wise words:
"Don't think too hard about it, just drink." Once Oliver had his, a second one was given to Finn; Ripley drank none, because he wasn't awake enough for it yet, he figured.

GOOD MORNINGThat was way too many questions for such a short amount of time, the flustered boy was left with his mouth open not sure which one to answer first. Finally he settled for a meek nod. "Cards might be fun... I don't know many games though." Oliver admitted. He had no doubt Harley would happily teach him anything he wanted though. It might be a fun way to pass the time, and truth be told, he didn't care what they did so long as Harley was willing to stay with him.
