[Malach: Agrabah: Bazaar]

The Jumi Knight struggled a little less than Azuria at getting through the crowd. With a weapon on hand, and his perpetual angry expression, a lot of people were more than happy to get out of his way. Though a lot also wanted to get a look at the giant striped stone sticking out of his chest, while he was also carrying a lot of heavy bags.

Still, he made his way after her. Easy to do considering their bond gave him a general sense of her direction when near. Still, he was never fond of her wandering off like this. Not that it hadn't happened before, but he just wish it wouldn't. Still, he 'faithfully followed' after her, like he normally did. Only quietly this time, considering she was already ignoring his calls.

[Kay'la : Agrabah : Bazaar]

Kay'la's eyes twitched from under the scarf she wore to hide her cat-like ears. At the same time she stopped her song. She leaned down to pick up the basket she laid down. She didn't get much fruit for her efforts. Just a small handful of currency, what was it called- mummy?

She let out a sigh and her ears twitched along with her tail from under the skirt she wore. Kay'la was feeling restless having to hide herself like this. However, what more could she do? Though there were strange creatures in this place, none of them smelled miqo'te.

The bard shook her head as she pocketed the money. She picked up her bow that was hidden behind her, wrapped in a large cloth. She put Artemis on her shoulder. Kay'la shrugged on her bundle. In the corner of her eye she spotted a strange man carrying his weapon, openly among the crowd. He seemed to be following someone.

'Someone looks itching for trouble...'

Kay'la shrugged to herself and followed after. Her curiosity peeked. It had been awhile since she could get any entertainment.

{Azuria [Pet: Ted].:. Agrabah .:. Bazaar}

"Excuse me, sir?" Azuria called when she felt she was close enough to her target. The man didn’t turn, but the sound of another Jumi was stronger, and continued to grow the closer she got to him. "Sir? I’d like to ask you a ques—oh, pardon me, ma’am—sir I’d like to ask you a question if you don’t mind?"

Either the person she was following couldn’t hear her, or was purposely ignoring her. Either way, his severe lack of a response only goaded Zuri on further. With a huff, she pushed through the crowd, ducking under and around other people as necessary, and grabbed the man’s elbow when she got close enough.

"Pardon me, I—" First Azuria’s eyes met that of the man she had pursued, and something about them set her aback. They weren’t a Jumi’s eyes, they didn’t sparkle with the flow of mana through his very soul. But that tone—

A chime of warning, and the man backhanded her, sending her tumbling with a yelp. She landed, hard on her butt, and pressed a hand to her bruised cheek. Ted hissed, and slithered to the ground before Azuria, flaring his hood and rattling his tail in warning. He’d tried to bite the man when he struck Azuria, but hadn’t been quick enough.

"How dare you touch me, cretin?" bellowed the other. "Thief! Scoundrel! I’ll have you hanged for this!"

[Malach: Agrabah: Bazaar]

The male Jumi paused, a hand going to his core. He felt the barest echo of a chime, one of warning and yet the touch of familiarity...and was brought out of his pause by the sound of flesh smacking flesh, a yelp of pain, and a hiss from a pissed off snake.

The bags were suddenly dropped, only his spear in hand as he leapt into the air, over all the people in his way, and landing with a cloud of dust and dirt and sand billowing out from his landing next to his sister. His sister, who held her hand to her reddened cheek.

Malach practically radiated rage and power and magic, moving forward quicky, his spear suddenly pointed at the throat of the man that insulted Azuria.

"Are you alright? How is your core?" He asked his sister over his shoulder. before immediately locking eyes with the man that dared touch his Guardian.

"Did you hit her?"

One simple question that was laced with so much venom, it caused a few people of the crowd so grow very quiet as they watched what was unfolding.

[Kay'la : Agrabah : Bazaar]

Kay'la stopped as the sceen unfolded before her. The man she was trailing after, went over to help a young girl who was now being accused of theft. From what she could tell the girl did nothing out of the ordinary. But of course, men like that didn't care about that. They just wanted to prey on the weak.

People like that made Kay'la sick.

"Petty merchants are all the same, she mumbled as she came out of the crowd with her arms crossed and her eyes on the man who slapped the girl, "You look at them funny and they think you are a thief. Do you have any proof that she took anything? Or are you just mad she dirtied your coat?"

{Wing .:. Twilight Town .:. Market Street>>Tram Common}

The Gummi ship touched down on the outskirts of the town, and Wing stepped foot on terra firma for the first time in far too long. As fascinating as outer space was, she much preferred to have ground. Ground she could deal with.

After some time of wandering, Wing managed to find her way to what looked like a market, and after a few moments of trying to get her bearings, she snagged a passer-by.

"Excuse me," she said, "but I’m a little lost. Do you mind telling me where I am?"

"Um… this is Market Street? In Twilight Town? You hit your head, lady?" The person she had snagged pulled his arm out of her grip and gave her an odd look.

"Not recently. Thank you, my friend." The man kept walking, occasionally glancing over his shoulder to see if Wing was going to do anything else strange, but she had turned her attention to other things. She continued down Market Street—literally, as she was walking downhill—and found herself in a more open area just as a tram passed by. She looked around, trying to get a bearing by noting different landmarks, and spotted a map.

With a little more purpose in her step, Wing b-lined straight for that map, hoping it would give her some information on interesting places to visit.

{Azuria [Pet: Ted].:. Agrabah .:. Bazaar}

Several people had stopped to watch, murmuring amongst themselves, making a wide-open space around the rich merchant and Azuria—one that was perfect for her brother to land in. She heard him talking, heard his question, but she ignored him. That cry of warning just before she’d been hit had told her everything she needed to know. Her face scrunched up, lip trembling a little, but with an iron resolve she got back to her feet and calmly walked forward, eyes fixed on a large half-globe of flawless larimar set in a gold plate and chain that hung from the merchants neck.

"Sh-she accosted me, good sir!" the merchant was babbling to Malach, but Azuria barely heard him. "Are you a palace guard? You haven’t the uniform, but I demand you arrest this thieving street rat at once!"

"Please, sir, that blue stone," Azuria said, ignoring every word being said, once again touching her fingers to her core. "I need it. It’s—"

Once again she was back-handed, and sent tumbling to the ground with a cry of pain. Ted hissed, but the sound was cut off as he was squashed by his mistress when she landed right on top of him.

"Thief and beggar! I should—hrrk!"

[Malach: Agrabah: Bazaar]

Azuria was ignoring him. Again. Though this time it was worrisome. Even Zuri had enough sense to not ignore when something was actually hitting her. He was worried enough that the rambling of the merchant was brushed off.

Zuri mentioned something of a stone, and Malach's eyes wandered the merchant. He stared at the stone hanging from the merchant's neck. It...couldn't have been...

Once again, the merchant struck Azuria, barking out words before getting interrupted by Malach grabbing the stone(plate and all), and jerking it, foot lashing out and kicking the merchant in the gut. The combined force of the jerk and the kick snapping the chain(and likely harming the back of the merchant's neck), and Malach gazed at the stone in his hand.

He sent out the call once more...and the stone responded. And Malach's emotions surged. He thrusted his spear into the ground by the merchant's head, eyes cold and filled with killing intent.

"Where did you get this? Tell me now."

[Kaldar: Twilight Town: Woods on Outskirts]

COM had managed to find an isolated clearing just large enough for the ship to land(albeit bringing down some branches, as it was a tight fight. The ship was camoflauged, and Kaldar was wandering the woods, alone. Of course, he had been excited at first, but now he was just kind of bored. It was technically a ways away from the town. And there was a whole lot of nothing going on in the woods.

The male frowned, looking around at all the trees, before deciding to climb one. And then decided to find a sturdier one when he kept snapping branches off of the first tree just with his sheer weight.

Once he found a sturdy one, he climbed to the top, head poking out of the foilage to see if there was even anything around. Thankfully, there was, in the form of the roof of...what he guessed was a large house or mansion or something. Which meant something(Or even someone) was there for him to actually explore.

Climbing down(well, more like jumping down and landing on his feet hard enough to leave a deep set of footprints), Kaldar made his way to the mansion. Maybe the world would be worth it, after all.

{Inira : Traverse Town - First District}

BGM -N/A

A fox, a bloody buggy sly fox. Inira's squirrel eyes narrowed slightly as the group moved closer towards the hoard of heartless. She clamped her mouth down from speaking up about staying away from them, for she does not know if these humans treat foxes differently from where she was from.

Inira hate foxes, one of her sisters got eaten by a group of them as she was lured into one of their horrid traps. In Redwall, foxes are known to be very foul and deceiving, so Inira doesn't trust them as far as she can throw them. Her grip on Suria's shoulder tightened slightly as her tail went static and stiff, ears forward to hear for more sounds.

Whatever the others do, she will assist, but on her own terms, she rather see foxes perish.

Kauze
Location: Traverse Town: 1st district alleyway
Company: Snowstorm, Salvos
HP: 74%
MP: 73%>70%

Kauze observed the effects of his lightning with calm satisfaction; noting the damage dealt as a way of determining the hostile creature's strength, he was gleeful to see how many his lightning destroyed "Easier than hunting crickets!" he boasted; moments later his crowing was interrupted suddenly as another human joined the battle and set to breathing fire over the black creatures before telling them to get to the square,
Kauze took a moment to access the situation as Snow shot by; the creatures seemed to have limitless reinforcements and they seemed not to even notice the destruction of their fellows; instead closing in around Snow,
The Fennec nodded to himself; though he was starting to consider simply leaving them there he decided it was in his best interests to help and to that end he could only see one course of action; He waved his fan in a triangle pattern creating three small green crystals in the air which proceeded to cluster together and float in front of his forehead as he narrowed his eyes and watched the black creatures movements carefully
Just a single moment longer...

[Snowstorm.:.First District Alley.:.Traverse Town.:.]

Snow looked around at the newcomers that she hadn't noticed before. She was glad to see them, especially since the shadows were starting to close in around her. She slipped one sword into its sheathe and picked up the orb, now a bottle, with her now free hand. She didn't know how much longer she was going to last. Her energy was drained. Passing through the portal took much out of her and battling directly after had left her nearly completely drained.
Snow sliced and diced at the black things left and right, panting as she went about it. Her vision got hazy. Everything seemed to move in slow motion now. She considered using her ultimate attack but when she looked towards the other fox, he seemed to be abut ready to preform his own so she thought of a new plan.
The girl had no energy left to transform into her fox form, so quick attack was out of the question. She had to get to the fox at the other side of the mob somehow if she wanted to survive. Then it hit her. She would charge them. Snow closed her eyes and summoned her last bit of energy. Flames surged around her sword and she charged through the mob to the fox. As she got to him, however, she collapsed. With her final thought, she hoped the fox would be able to continue on with the newcomers. With that, everything went black.

[ Thalassa : Aseavan : Wizard's Isle ]

"Of course, I had to swim out of there pretty fast," Thalassa guffawed over the sound of music produced by her thumbnails striking against the kalimba's metal tines. "I lost the way I came in, and who knows where it went to. I managed to find another tunnel, but... Anyway..." She paused as she dug a hand into one of her pockets and retrieved a small ornament which glistened brilliantly, its smooth facets seemingly moving themselves as the fire danced in its pit. The object seemed to be shaped like a stylized sun being held on one side by an enormous bird, but because the other edge was broken off, one couldn't be sure whether it was a mirrored image. "That's where I found this." She tossed the mysterious treasure to the person to her left, a fellow treasure enthusiast from Magenta Mountain named Cyril, who fumbled with it for a moment before throwing it toward the shore, where it bounced on the sand and dropped into the shallow water.

"Well what did you do that for?" Emerald asked with a puzzled look as she reached a hand out to retrieve the ornament.

"Are you insane, Thalassa?" Cyril shouted, incredulous, as he jumped up from the log on which he had been seated. He wiped his hands on his brown tunic, running around the fire pit for a moment while his younger brother, Myles, fell off of his own log laughing at Cyril.

"I should've known," the younger brother shouted, still trying to catch his breath, "not to bring along the only person more superstitious than Lass."

"I could give it to you instead," Thalassa said with a glare at the blond land-dweller. "But it won't go in your hand." This only made the boy's laughter worse, and he stared at the sand to keep his eyes off of the apparently amusing expression on her face, tears of mirth steadily flowing down his own as he shook his head and made an "I'm done" gesture with his arms. Thalassa rolled her eyes and rolled to her side off of the log, landing with a loud THUD on the sand before resuming her playing. "Why do I hang out with you people?" She didn't expect an answer, which was fortunate, because she didn't receive one.

"Thalassa," Cyril sighed once he had calmed down, "You could've killed me. You really need to be more careful with things like that."

"Oh, give me a break, Cyril," the treasure hunter said, ringing a flat note on the kalimba. "If that thing was dangerous, don't you think I would've already turned to ash or something from touching it?"

"No," he shouted in a matter-of-fact tone, "I don't! You're a... you know... wizard." At this, Thalassa gave a loud snort.

"Treasure hunter who happens to know a few spells, remember?" she asked, pointing a finger in the general direction of the locked tower behind her house. "I'm not gonna poof you into oblivion."

"But you could-" he began, only to be shushed by Thalassa as she ceased her aimless string of percussion notes and pointed an index finger skyward, where she could have sworn a star had just been for one second, and the next... gone. It might have been a shooting star, of course, as she had caught the image between blinks, but there was a nagging feeling in her gut that said otherwise.

"Are we supposed to have a star shower any time soon?" she asked to no one in particular. Everyone answered negative, and she creased her brow. "Well, just in case..." She closed her eyes, relaxing her demeanor, and tried to keep the image of the starry sky on the backs of her eyelids, so to speak.

Let's see... I wish...

[Kay'la : Agrabah : Bazaar]

Kay'la hissed as the man slapped the girl again, as well as ignored her question. Though she really didn't need one. This merchant seemed like so many she saw before in Ul'dah.

While the young man confronted the merchant she walked over to the young girl who was knocked down. Kay'la knealed down by the girl with a gentle hand held out to help her up.

"Are you okay, miss?" the miqote asked Azuria.

[ Mickey | Agrabah | Bazaar | Buildings ]

Mickey spent the night exploring the streets of Agrabah. There was still activity when it was dark, but he kept his hood up and people left him alone. At times he felt like he was being followed, but he could duck into an alley, jump onto a building, and he would quickly lose them. He noticed a few monkeys making their way along the tops and sides of buildings, and he decided that was the best way to travel around here, especially when dawn came, and the streets began to bustle with activity.

He had a decent idea of the layout of the city. It was much easier to tell from the rooftops. At one point he had climbed to the top of a tall tower to understand it better. The city was chaos. It didn't appear to have much of a design, other than a few main streets, bazaars, and of course the palace. He hadn't been to the palace yet.

He needed a break. He'd been jumping and running around all night. He sat on a ledge of a building, obscured by shadows, and looked down at the bazaar below him. There was activity of some sort going on... people had parted from a small area. Were they fighting?

{Wing .:. Twilight Town .:. Tram Common >> Forest}

After a while of wandering, getting the lay of the place and locating various places such as shops and restaurants, Wing discovered a small hole in the east wall—well, the south part of the east wall. At least, she thought they were south and east. Assuming directions worked the same on this world.

Curious, she peeked her head through the hole—which was large enough she could fit through—and found on the other side a thick forest. The trees grew so closely together it was nearly impossible to see any sky, and the area was bathed in a green twilight—well, twilight compared to the other, somewhat brighter twilight on the side of the wall she had just come from. It seemed peaceful in this forest, but there weren’t any birds chirping. She couldn’t tell if that was because they just weren’t there to chirp, or if birds didn’t chirp at all in this world, or if something had frightened them into silence. There was a surprising lack of underbrush, so Wing was able to make her way through the trees easily, trying to see if there was a path.

{Azuria [Pet: Ted].:. Agrabah .:. Bazaar}

"I’m okay, thank you," Azuria said to the woman—the only person in the crowd who seemed to have the barest shred of compassion—who had come to help. A split second later, though, her attention was caught when Malach kicked the merchant, and snapped the chain holding the larimar stone. With a gasp, Zuri sprang to her feet, hands outstretched, and gently took the stone from her brother as it responded to his call. An exclamation of both joy and despair—and she clutched the stone to her core, sending out soft, reassuring pulses.

It's okay. I have you. I've got you. I love you...

"Father,"
she whispered, softly kissing the stone. Once again, if she’d had the ability to, she would have cried. Ted slithered up to drape across her shoulders again, hissing softly and butting his head against her hands. She opened them just enough to let him see, exclaiming, "It’s my dad, Ted!"

"I bought it!" the merchant was wheezing, holding his bruised stomach and rubbing at the back of his neck where the chain had bit into it. "Been rightfully mine for more than a decade! You rotten—"

"This is our father!" Azuria snapped angrily, clutching the stone tighter to her core and gesturing to Malach with her free hand. This time, the reassuring pulses were coming from the stone instead of her. Her father was trying to calm her down. "How dare you! People can’t be bought, you can't own us, we're not your jewelry you, you filthy, disgusting—"

[Kaldar: Twilight Town: Forest -> Old Mansion]

The lycanthrope was humming to himself as he moved through the forest. It was a little difficult, considering the lack of a path and how the trees could sometiems be so close together. However, he was used to those kinds of conditions. So this was like a walk in the park, for him.

Of course, as he finally got close, he discovered a wall around the large house. He would even call it a mansion, considering it's size.

He didn't feel like wandering around to the front, so with the help of his strength and a nearby tree, he easily managed to get over the wall(mainly by climbing up a tree and jumping onto the wall before jumping down).

Kal peered into a window, arm wiping away a layer of grime on the outside, and grunted. Too much grime on the inside of the window to see much. He thought he could make out a broken table...but he wasn't sure.

Heading to what he assumed was the front of the house, the male looked around. Broken columns, a gate with a giant lock, and a door were what he mainly spotted. And it was the door that drew him, as he knocked twice, heard nothing, and then opened it.

Dust. That's what he mainly smelled. Seemed like no one had lived here in a while. And so the male happily wandered in, his curiosity getting the best of him.

---------------------------------

[Malach: Agrabah: Bazaar]

The Jumi Knight stared down at the merchant. Did the merchant think so highly of himself that he couldn't grasp the situation he was in? Or maybe he was just stupid. But he was still insulting his sister, and thusly got another kick, this time hard enough to the thigh to definitely leave a gigantic bruise.

"Watch your mouth. Where did you buy it? Something like that, you'd have to remember. Where did you buy that Jumi core?" So much ice and venom in his voice, it belied the fire in his eyes and on his hand. And yes, there was green fire starting to flicker around and blaze from between the fingers of his left hand, which was a tightly closed fist.
