We're not very big, maybe about 45-50 people w/o the guard. 60 at most with them.

Hi all! My name's Ryan! I've graduated high school, but while I was in we had a pretty small band. My freshman year we had about 35 (6 colorgaurd...and they were GOOOOOOD), sophomore year maybe 40 (again, 6 colorgaurd), junior year we had 32 (6 CG same), and my senior year (the year I was DRUM MAJOR!!! w00t) we had about 45 (INCLUDING CG). We weren't big, but we always had fun.

We have 32 winds, 6 in the drumline, maybe 10ish in the guard, 7ish in the pit, and two drum majors.
As 1/32 of the band, I have to play at least forte everytime I play, which kind of sucks, but one of our visual instructors had a fun time telling the people he was sitting with that there was only 32 of us. We generally get really high music scores because of our smallness.

Lets see here...My band has about 150 members. 13 guard, about 8 in pit, 3 drum majors, 10 drumline, 1 string player, which leaves about 115 wind players (about 1/3 of that is Flutes X_x).

I was once part of a huge band. The Pasadena City College Tournament of Roses Honor Band, ColordGaurd, and Herald Trumpets. 2003 Rose Parade....it was fun. We had about 20 clarinets, 15 flutes, 30 Trombones, 25 Trumpets, 18 Sousaphones, 20 saxophones, 15 or 20 mellophones and baritones....and then the drum line....6 snares, 6 cymbals, 6 bass drums, 4 quints, and 6 marching pit (xylo. mostly).....and 15 in the colorgaurd. There were also two holding our banner, 6 herald trumpets, 1 heralding snare, one drum major, and a drum majorette. That toal's about what...195 people, give or take a number or twenty...it's been almost 4 years since I marched in the Rose Parade.

Somewhere around 213, including guard. We have about 35 guard, 32 clarinets, 28 flutes, and I don't know the other sections. Our woodwind section alone is the size of most bands, totaling a little over 100. We have about 15 people in pit. -_-"
Class 5A (or I, depending on which competition). We're one of the biggest in our area.

Well...I thought our band was small...but compared to some of yours I guess its pretty big...But I guess everything's big in texas rofl
anyway, I think we have around 140, and this is just our first year with seniors. Considering we don't have many seniors left, we're expected to be a lot bigger next year.

*cires* We have marching band 88... It's our biggest band ever but we're still tiny... We compete in 3A... I think we should be 2A because we're so small... all the other 3A bands have at least 120... But I'm still Proud to be part of the South Tama High school Marching Trojans!
