Sada frowned slightly, reaching a hand up to his chin. A faint scrape was still there, from falling on the cold hard ground in front of a haka in the main street just days before.
"Yes, well... when a haka does marry me, it'll be because some one pressured him, or because he needs a farmer. I see no other reason." He smirked slightly. Sada was a pretty gehaka, more lean than heavily muscled, and was not exactly what some one would call "drop dead" handsome, but handsome. He was humble and calm for the most part, but what else is a farmer suppose to be like? He smiled, and leaned on the tree they were standing under.

Sada laughed, it was exactly as he felt, but at thinking of his mother, the raven haired Gehaka became sober once again.
"I'm here because my mother was lecturing me. For once, I didn't say sorry and shut up, it welled all up in me....and I yelled back..." Sada sighed," as the only son, he hopes to drill into my head something or other, and I've heard him muttering about how much easier life would have been had I been a haka." The blue eyes rolled. That was what had blown him up. The thought of being a haka made his skin crawl. Haka in general did, but that was more than likely because of his mother.

"I thinking of mothers reaction. I don't belive she will take this well." He shrugged. "She is not to happy with me of late. I was surprise, since you have such a sweet temper that you where not ready already." His ears twitched to Hachiro liking his deep warm chuckle. "You have such a warm alluring laugh."
He reached over touching the bracer fitted on Hachiro wrist. The leather was smooth and buttery under his right hand fingers. He would be be pleased with his marriage. Hachiro was handsome and kind.

"Ah, I see..." Hachiro himself had been getting into a few squabbles with his own Mother lately--ones that seemed to end up with him getting hit. The blows didn't hurt at all, but the Gehaka was upset that they were fighting in the first place. Yes, he understood why Shinku might be not looking forward to his mother's reaction. At both compliments, the Gehaka's lips twitched into a surprised yet pleased smile, bowing his head slightly in thanks. He had never really been complimented before, and to be complimented by Shinku...well, it was enjoyable.
"Thank you, Shinku-san." He murmured softly, eyes flicking downward to watch Shinku's fingers tracing over the leather bracer that fit on his wrist. Then slowly, with a tad of hesitance, his fingers rose as well, gently sliding themselves over top of Shinku's soft ones.

Shinku froze slight, tensing, and then relaxed fully. He set his left hand over Hachiro's, the pads of his finger tips callused. It was causing a warm strange feeling to rise in his stomach. It was a pleasing feel. "I best be going home. Mother will begain to worry and I best tell him so he can plan the wedding."
Mother would probably go on about a lack of time plan and then take over everything he could. "Will you be here tomorrow?"

When Shinku tensed, Hachiro made his hand freeeze, ready to pull away if the Haka appeared uncomfortable. After all, he wouldn't chance losing the other's trust--had he been too bold? They had just met, after all...but when Shinku's small, softer, yet delicately calloused fingertips touched the back of his hand, the Gehaka also relaxed. How and why a little touch could make him feel so good, he wasn't quite sure. Hachiro nodded silently to the other's words, knowing that he too, should go home.
"Yes." His voice was firm without a quell of hesitation. When his mother found out that Hachiro was to be married...well, he'd let the Gehaka go out to see his husband--no matter what work needed to be done. His mother had plenty of other Gehaka to boss around, and he would be proud to see his son married off. "I promise."

Shinku smiled slightly. "I'll see you here at noon," he said, planning tomorrow. If he could do so, he would bring Sei to meet Hachiro and have a nice lunchen in the garden. "I'll hold you to your promise Hachiro." He removed his hands. "Good bye, till tomorrow."
Shinku clasped his hand and walked away. The rest of the day was going to be very exciting. Mother learning his decision; Sei was going to want to know all the details. Planning, he couldn't wait for that.

The Gehaka nodded, storing the information in the back of his mind with a single twitch of his long ears. As Shinku removed his hands, Hachiro smiled at him once, dipping his head forward. "I will be here, Shinku-san. Farewell." For a moment he simply watched the Haka's back as he left, letting out a low, almost shaky sigh. Him, of all people...yes, he felt truly blessed.
Shaking himself, the Gehaka quietly moved back through the park, slipping through the entrance that he had come from. His mother would be delighted; he had believed that his only son would never marry.

Reizo nodded his head, filing away that information. He wanted only the best from those who worked with his art, from printers to wood-workers. He was happy with what the current wood-workers did, but if he could find better...
After a moment, he spoke up. "But you will not be there for long, no?" The Haka leaned down, tapping a finger gently and briefly against the bracer on Taini's wrist. He wondered what the Gehaka's husband's profession was, and whether - if Taini suited for the work Reizo needed done - the other Haka would allow his husband to do a bit of his old business.

Shizuka had taken to walking in gardens when he wasn't working hard carving boats for his mother. The few giant, white flowers in the gardens were his favorites... they smelled like heaven and were large enough for him to practically stick his head inside and get lost. It was wonderful forgetting how frail he was and the fact that he was the youngest, and only unmarried, of his six siblings.
Today, though, Shizuka had other ideas. He sat under a large tree so that the sun wouldn't burn his sensitive skin and watched the garden. There were beautifully colored butterflies flitting from flower to flower in the warm sun. He smiled peacefully to himself. Luckily, he hadn't noticed anyone in the garden yet, otherwise his true nature would show more painfully than ever... the outside that everyone saw...

Inui Atsushi had never been outside his house, at least, not alone. His Mother always accompanied him, dragging him around by and arm and hissing sharp orders under his breath. He didn't mind though, since with his Mother speaking to anyone they passed, Atsushi didn't even have to speak a single word. It was better to be taken for a dumb mute than for a chatterbox.
Still, he had tired of being cramped in the house listening to his Mother complain about marriage and social rankings, so he soon found himself in a rather unfamiliar place filled with even worse off things. It was a bit too late to return to the house as it was, considering Atsushi's directions were just as good as his will to speak.
"...Haa."

Shizuka had just let his eyes flutter closed in the peace of the garden when he heard the grass rustling nearby. Without moving, his eyes shot open and stared in terror at the Gehaka walking nearby. He wondered briefly if a Haka would be soon to follow and tensed terribly. The incredibly shy Gehaka said nothing, nor moved, watching Inui walk.
Shi couldn't make out what Inui had mumbled just then, nor could he make sense of it, so he simply remained silent, waiting to see if he'd be noticed. Certainly he'd be more easily noticed than this one... he could most definitely blend with the shadows of nature... Shi envied him...

"....Haa..."
Atsushi repeated the same sound as before, running his fingers through his tawny hair. He looked around a bit, his shoulders slumped and his posture skewed. His apperance rivaled that of a far older Gehaka, his stance positioned so his arms hung down in front and his back bent slightly.
"....Ha.."
It was almost as if there were no other words in his vocabulary, but Atsushi didn't seem to mind it in the least. He had a great vocabulary, that he knew thanks to the continuous strain placed upon him by his Mother, so speaking in single syllables was something of a relief. He turned and looked towards the tree where Shizuka rested in silence, and slowly Atsushi lurched his way over.
"You...over there. Where...am I?"
