In the recent attack back during the last week of September, I was gotten by someone buying up stiff with botted gold. My trading pass locked the next day. Now been a week and I am still waiting for my tp to be unlocked.
How far along are you in dealing with those of us still waiting to be attended to?

Real question: Are there any plans to better prevention of this?
I ask because I hear said person is gonna do it again.

Are Kickstarters and Flynn's auctions no longer a plausible thing to expect?

I feel like there's a lot of gold bloat that needs something to at least counter it.... deflation doesn't seem possible but some stability would be nice...

Who should I refer people to when it comes to bidding issues? I've had several players message me in the last couple of months because they've been unable to bid on my items, and I'd like to be able to point them towards someone who can actually help.

Features - Large GC Purchases and Trading Pass Disabling...

Is there any way to put repeat buyers who have an outstanding purchase history with Gaia Online to be placed on a White List of some type? Whenever a user purchases a large enough amount of GC to buy a ticket, their pass is disabled. These sales always occur outside of business hours meaning their passes are disabled all night. This interrupts their vending and other activities on the website and it is NOT for first time buyers. It is every time on a purchase (i believe) above 100USD worth of GC. I have gotten the freeze on a $60 purchase before (but was a larger amount of GC thanks to sales).

In the past Gaia had a system where first time buyers had their GC and items purchased with it frozen to their account for a time. Couldn't we just do that?

I thought that Gaia staff doesn't release ticket items to people who have their trading passes disabled ? That's what I've been told in the past when my other tickets were put on hold when the LK hacker came through in July.
This last week 2 of my customs have come through without me having ANY way to trade them around. Is this now going to be the norm since there's so many people affected by this ?

I'm really starting to feel like Gaia doesn't want me here.

Will this fix include retroactively applying sales to the abps of affected items? surprised

Would it be possible to have a list generated from our inventories telling us how much each item is worth? It's really bothering me that my inventory worth somehow went up 2t and I have no idea which items are causing it. I'd like to be able to have a sortable list showing me the worth of each item without clicking on each individual item which is really time consuming.

Also at some point in the future, can we please get an update to the Detailed History section of our Store Logs? Currently they show the item, the date listed/bought, the buyer and and the price it was bought for. Is it possible to also get the listing price added in, and the bid increment for bid items? I tend to list a lot of bid items, and when I have double items I spread the listings out over several weeks. The problem is, I forget what starting price and increment I put for the first listing, and it bugs me that I may or may not be starting a new listing with different prices to the first one.

When we view our Wishlist on the Marketplace page, can you make it display the current lowest price of an item (versus the average price, which is rarely accurate)?

Looks like the Marketplace has once again lost its ability to track itself. The total revenue graph is indicating zero activity for the past few days, ABPs aren't updating...This is, as far as I know, the third time this has happened in as many months. I hope you've got someone looking into what's causing this so you can try to prevent it happening a fourth time?

We know the cause, the solution will require some server upgrades. XD

Gonna be a bother again, but some people (including myself) have had their trading passes locked due to having received botted gold last September. We are still waiting to have our tps unlocked. How close to this being done are you? (truth please)

Are there any plans to update the old games like jigsaw and word pump ETC and up the rewards? Bigger gold payouts, maybe make rigs an item win like in LK?

So another question about tickets since I've noticed that someone else asked about the prices...

Can /ANYTHING/ be done about the OUTRAGEOUS prices for the tickets being asked for in marketplace and forums? Even as little as baby rainbow ticket are going for 9 trillion and as big as platinum going for 100 trillion.

with the cash sales gone, only the people who hoarded those tickets are able to afford or get more. (Not to mention newcomers to gaia who will be stuck in the newbie state due to prices of anything )

Can we please have more updates to Flynn's Plunder, preferably with more Verge Boxes and common tickets that people are going after? The scarcity of them are driving prices up higher than they should be sweatdrop

Since the inventory arranger has been modified, it got me thinking. One way to organize your invo quickly is to search for items by their tags. There are many items on the site that I could use to make avatars, only I don't know what they are because they lack proper tags (by theme, color, equip poses, etc). Many older items on Gaia only have maybe one or two tags, whereas the newest items have closer to 10. Primarily only items with "color schemes" are easy to find.

Is there any way that these older and more obscure items' tags could be updated? It would be a lot of work but I think it would also be beneficial for many users.

Can you take off the extra step between Wish List item and Marketplace.

Ex. : I click on an item I like in a Wish List,
then I have a screen of information of this item (that is the same one that is in the Marketplace)
and finally I arrive in Marketplace. (Where I can try it, add it to Wish List)

Is it possible to find out how much new gold kindred is generating per day/week

compared to "all other sources"

something nobody wants to discuss: caps.

i hope everyone saw my big post on the thread that was linked in the staff alerts. if you guys bring back a cap, please make it a soft gold cap. and have it reduce the number of trees that spawn while increasing the frequency of seed drops, instead of cutting off tree spawns altogether. the seeds are beneficial because they sometimes give out rare kin.

also, the 5000 game per day cap was to stop scripting. it is impossible for a human to hit. 3 battles per minute over 24 hours comes to a bit over 4000. no human farms that much. a 2500-3000 per day cap will only be hit by someone farming for 16 straight hours without stiopping, or scripting to get battles faster.
those two caps combined can also stop a tree scripter. if they're getting literally nothing but trees after they've hit multiple soft caps, and they always get gold, the game should detect that and alert staff to investigate.

Lake kindred - Games

Wondering if you guys would consider making a sub-forum
to LK forum specifically for selling kindred related items-potions and what-not.

It might make things easier for people to go buying/selling kindred stuff
instead of people clogging up our main LK forum with selling-buying related threads.
This way there is no excuse, since people often say the item exchange is to "slow".

Please consider, this has asked a long while back but while the old
management was around, which to this was ignored so I wanted to ask again.

How do you plan to reduce the hyperinflation if not by nerfing Lake Kindred?

I had a few ideas.

You should cap the price players are allowed to sell items.
You could flat out solve the problem by setting everyone's gold to 0.
Make Lake Kindred harder.

Idk. I'm not an economist, but I would definitely be able to think of some smarter ways than what you guys tried last week.

Inventory

On the sell page of our inventories, we are still getting the negative quantity after listing items. Cannot list another of the same item unless the page is refreshed. Is that little bug still being worked on?
