Rep seemed like he was in a good mood. Maybe they'd get the chance to kill something. Harrison looked at the hand.
Half a cookie. Half of Rep's saved cookie. Which made it a pretty big deal. Harrison took it with the gravity it deserved.
"Thanks, babe," he said, crunching into it. "Pretty big uh, pretty big turn out, huh? ...They called- everybody in?" He swallowed the cookie. "The mission got a letter attached to it?"

Zascha watched at the growing number of Hunters that had begun to arrive but he didn't see a certain Mist there. Probably trying to get her make up just right.
He whipped out his phone and mumbled to himself for a second.

It seemed like he had gotten back from wheever it was that he had been (some outpost, somewhere... something) only a good five minutes when he got the text message. And honestly, he probably would have dropped everything right then and there to head towards the lighthouse but Milo realized he needed to at least settle back in a bit before he did.
And, well. Shower.
Eventually, though, the brunet made his way there, all clean and stuff with his usual cheerful attitude and all. "Yoooo ~"

"Tęskniłem za tobą, siostra." Mimsy was the only person so far he seemed to actually warm up to considerably. He actually sounded sincere, not jaded and sarcastic as he'd been lately.
"Eh-?" Before Lucky could say or do anything to Maebe, a distraction appeared. By the time he looked up, it was too late. It seemed that Robert was the last person he'd expected to be addressed like that by. Lucky looked genuinely startled as Robert basically shook him around like a ragdoll. "Robert- vhat - are - you - doing--"
"Is not like I vant to be here," he pleaded, shrugging his coat back into position and pulling the lapels into place. He stared pointedly at his shoes. If he knew what Robert was really talking about, he wasn't showing it. "Look, I got the same text message as you. I can't just - ignore it!"
The fact that Lucky had been addressed and assigned work at the last death division meeting (despite not even being in that division in the first place) was pretty good evidence that Caelius had not forgotten. Or forgiven.
Mimsy's attention sent him leaning just a little closer to her, as if to protect himself from whatever completely inexplicable event had possessed Robert to freak out at him like that. He eyed them both during the whispered conversation but said nothing, too short to really be involved anyway. Wound up as he was, Mimsy's next words seemed to actually calm him down a bit.
"Good," he smiled back almost knowingly, squeezing her hand in kind.

Out of the infirmary for barely an hour and America was already getting a ******** mission notice. Part of her just wanted to go back home to her nice little house and comfy bed that would be warm with the morning sunshine. The rest of her didn't want to have deal with what she'd see when she closed her eyes.

on my way over
As she approached the lighthouse, the brand new white of her coat was eye-catching, even if the cut of it was more practical and subdued than her previous trainee coats. It marked her out and made very clear to those who knew her, that America Jones had been promoted to Hunter.
Looking around at those gathered, the girl caught sight of Shiloh and gave him an uncharacteristically awkward wave. He'd never answered back, so maybe she'd been wrong all along and so much for her detective skills.

Robert gaped at Lucky. He gaped hard, and long, and comically at the man. Then he turned, hands upturned in an expression of utter exasperation, to his wife. And there, too, he gaped.
Back, and forth, he went. Small wordless noises were leaving him every so often. But neither of them seemed to think there was a problem here.
Finally, Robert rubbed a hand all the way down his face, and groaned long and loudly. "Fine, fine. You so determined to be here, fine, just.. just do us both a favor, okay? Don't do anything attention grabbing. Lay the ******** low, Lucky." Robert turned away, and scanned the crowd. Under his breath he grumbled hard to hear phrases that sounded like gonna kill us and not like I wanted to survive this trip anyway.
Caelius's texts never gave any pertinent information about missions, such as what they were doing or where they were going, which really didn't help in matters of preparation. All you could really do was bring your usual mission kit, dress for average weather, and hope for the best. Jordan leaned against the lighthouse wall, watching people arrive, and didn't seek out anyone in particular, though his gaze rested longer on his friends as they arrived.

It had taken Noah a while to find his boots, because the last time he'd taken them off he'd left them at the end of the bed, and then they'd gotten shoved underneath and a blanket had halfway covered them, and it had taken some intensive searching to locate them. But he was here now, dressed and ready for a mission, or as ready as he'd ever be. He scanned the area until he located Peyton's blond hair, then made his way through the crowd to join her. "I got called in too," he said by way of greeting.

Jason had turned up in his usual hunter attire, finding a nice spot in the back somewhere to look over the message from Caelius with a frown. It took him two minutes to do this as there was nothing except the barest of details. Meet here and await instructions. And for some reason the usual f words were bleeped out. Since when did Caelius give a dam about censoring himself?
With a sigh he stood around, feeling awkward and nervous and wanting to just go back to bed instead of going on missions and getting eaten by huge Sahara desert monster holes.
Melvin showed up looking rougher than usual. His hair had a few curls going the wrong way, and he was holding a cup of coffee as if it was his only lifeline (and it was). Eyes a bit red around the edges, he gave everyone collected a groggy, slow blink before taking another sip of the beverage.
It was going to be a long morning.

Peyton was staring grimly at her phone when Noah found her, but she flashed him a smile none-the-less, reaching out automatically to take his hand. She was happy to see him, always, but her usual worry over loved ones was doubled from the last week. "Keep close, if you can?" They might not have the option, but she would feel better if he was there where she could jump in to help if the need arose.
At least Taym was staying behind, one less body to fret over, but she wasn't happy about America being roped into this, whatever it\this was. When she spotted the girl she lifted an arm to get her attention. "Come on Moon wifey, your staying with me too."
Sasha slipped into the room, a very satisfied smile on her lips. She did not move to interact with anyone, but wove her way through the room, listening.

Melvin had forgotten that Sasha was even back and nearly had a heart attack when he saw her appear from out of nowhere as she moved through the crowds.
He held his cup of coffee a little closer. There was now two things to worry about during this mission.

It was probably a damn good thing he'd enjoyed the small 'vacation' he and Land had managed to take because if not the text he'd woken up to from Captain a*****e might have made him punch someone.
"Really? Show up and we'll tell you what's going on? You could at least give people so ******** information. How about 'Hey guys, monsters exploded from the sea. come help or we'll give you floor scrubbing duty for the rest of your life'"
< "If he did that you wouldn't get to keep calling him Captain a*****e, now would you?">
But no. Caelius had to continue to be an a*****e with no reguard for anyone else. He had no idea how he became one of the leaders.
< "He probably just walked in and no one wanted to tell him no.">
"Probably"
Shaking his head as he made his way toward the lighthouse he pulled out his phone again. Given Land's behavior lately he probably wasn't out of bed yet.

Cee, after the mission text, had texted the only reliable people she knew to see if they were going, as if this were some party that she was still up in the air about attending.

To: Bix From: Queen C
r u an the missus goin to dis mission? plz protect me lol
---
Bix had answered promptly, honed for this and already walking into the meeting place full prepared. He didn't need to pow wow with a group of friends so instead he slipped by Gale and tugged a strand of hair as he passed.
---
Cee arrived later, fashionably later, fully made up and dressed and ready. She scanned the room and gave little waves to all the familiar faces but truth be told, with recent combat failures and a few nights in the infirmary, she was nervous about living through it. The petite bombshell found the most secure looking group and grinned up at them.
"Hey Ev.." She literally inserted herself between Evan and his friends, gently touching the pair of beefy arms she'd squeezed between (one of Evan's and one of Tucks). "Whose yer friends?"
Arland rubbed at his face as he slid out of bed, eying the text from his friend once more before taking an additional moment to fiddle with his phone. He flipped back through older text messages, locating one from the Powers That Be.
"s**t. <********>." He stumbled out of bed, ramming his toe against the chest at the foot of his bed that contained his gear. He pulled his hair back into an awkward, messy bun before tugging on a pair of pants. "Time to suit up..." He muttered as he reached down to open the chest.
It took him a little bit longer to suit up than it usually did. He took time to make sure that his boots were laced tightly after the cuffs of his pants were tucked into them, muscle shirt tucked in before another shirt was thrown on top of it, and one over that as well. Arland pulled his gloves on last after securing his supply pack, making sure he had Tivadar before picking up his phone to send another round of texts.
