Oosp, it still didn't connect with each other and time was running short, she still had more places to visit. Putting the pieces back to where they used to be in the toolkit, she waited aside until Maysy was free. "Thank you for the chance for me to try to create something, I guess I don't born with scientist talent, but thank you." She smiled and flushed in happiness, invention was like doing a difficult puzzle, she didn't make it but she enjoyed the process. "I hope you will like this." Time to make another experiment!
Sure, Brenley had the awesome magic experiments, but that didn't mean he couldn't make his own awesome experiments. Ignatius cracked his knuckles, looked at the bits and pieces he had to work with, and let his imagination get to work.
... Unfortunately, his experiment was a complete and utter failure today. Ignatius' shoulders slumped.
Well, at least he still had the prize from yesterday ... maybe he should try that experiment again later! With his own, stronger electrical supplies, of course. Clearly he was just trying to funnel in too much awesome power.

His device--what had it been, again?--hadn't worked too terribly well last time, so Arrakis wanted to give it another go. A sound-amplification device, was it? Well, that's what he was going to try to build now. Not a standard loudspeaker, though, maybe one that also recorded? It was worth a shot! Grabbing the pieces, he got to work.

It seemed to work, he thought? Nervously, but also a bit eagerly, he turned to show it to Maysy. Hopefully she approved! He was quite proud of it if he did say so himself! The recorder shouldn't snag, the sound quality should be good...
And it seemed to be! Or, at least, she seemed to agree well enough?
