Athene realised that Navi, who he had spotted on the way over wasn't the only Dark Mirror senshi out and about in the park, unlike Navi however (and like the white-haired corrupt), the two Dark Mirror senshi by the fountain appeared to also be standing against the two Nega-Generals to his surprise.
It wasn't the standing against the Negaverse that was a surprise - Athene had been at that 'little ambush' too and had seen the Negaverse attack on their suppposed allies - no it was the fact that they were involving themselves at all. After all given that technically the White Moon and the Dark Mirror court weren't what he'd call friends either, he would have thought that the Court would be neutral if anything.
There wasn't time to muse on it though, not with the approaching youma heading their way. Maia spoke about using her magic to slow it down and he nodded. "If you do that then I can use mine to try and trap..." he started, voice trailing off as the corrupted eternal (Vespa) that had been standing with Pasiphae heading in their direction, followed by one of the two Dark Mirror senshi - a pink-haired senshi (Amytis) who felt like a Super.
The corrupted senshi might not have remembered him, but Athene remembered the other from the night of the zoo and from the night of the city wide black out both. He'd tried to trap the Nega-General (Mica) with the spear who was attacking Camelot in his attack but had ended up trapping the blond corrupt instead.
And now it seems he's purifying. Or at least trying to. He'd pieced together that much from the white-haired corrupted senshi's (Azurite) comments as from the Nega-General's assertions that he was a traitor. What a twist of fate.
Although instead of trying to help them, he needed to get out of here. Athene opened his mouth intending to say just that, but Maia beat him to it, so instead he nodded at the Dark Mirror senshi and answered her question with a quiet "I'm fine, thank you" before looking at the blond corrupt and adding "Go - we'll stop them from following you" and was relieved when Pasiphae tugged at him.
He turned his attention back to Maia "Let's take care of that thing" he said of the youma that was now even closer, adding in a quieter tone of voice. "I'll save my magic for in case one of them tries to follow after those two." The two in question being Pasiphae and the corrupt. Given the temperamental nature of his magic, Athene reckoned that mayhaps it was something best to keep in reserve for now and besides he was pretty sure that he and Maia could take care of the youma without having to resort to it especially as he could sense a couple more approaching Order auras (Megrez and Halley).

General Bischofite - Paved Walkways towards Grassy Area (West)
Bischofite caught heed of trouble through the communicator long forgotten in his possession - Mica's determined tone rang out tinny from its minute projection, yet forceful in her attempts to garner participation from outside agents. Sailor Vespa... the creature mused. I remember you. I met you but once, you fragile little child, and you broke as easily as glass. You obeyed my orders as a superior, a tawdry chess piece acquiescing to anyone with a mind to move it. So it seems you might've grown a pair after all. Wings or otherwise.
It's time to see for myself.
He stood from his perch, a parapet crowning the hair salon adjacent to a restaurant he used to frequent. The stiff dust of concrete ground beneath his feet, though he paid it little heed - already his attentions drew toward the myriad cluster of auric energies pervading the park and its surroundings. While not terribly far, his vantage point offered no view save for the tree canopies shading such an event from common view. In mobilizing himself, painful as it was, he caught glimpses of the fights through the gaps in branches offered by the trees - a cluster of individuals including Ida engaged with Painite, who he hadn't seen in months; Thraen and Serpentine at each others throats as an echo of the past, and Kairatos locked with an unknown corrupted senshi that he never met previously - all this war meant to stop a single entity from crossing sides.
How marvelous, he thought with a grin.
In approaching Serpentine, his aura likely crawling over the stoic man's senses without care for an ambush, he banked on Serpentine acknowledging him as a kindred spirit - a helping hand in this mess of an attempt to break from rank. "Serpentine," he called, drawing out the last syllable. "I could offer you a hand, since you seem so terribly troubled. Consider it a revision of our last encounter wis' Sraen." A muted gaze shot toward the blonde just briefly before he focused on his fellow general with hands thick with tar. In approaching from behind, he attempted to catch the proud man's face with palm over mouth and nose.
Breathe, and know corruption personified.

Faust - Grassy Area (Northwest) moving toward Center Fountain
Faust initially never noticed the fight erupting just beyond him as he laid in a half-daze, belly facing the stars while he marveled over the glorious dose of catnip offered to him by a stranger. The boy seemed friendly enough, all shaggy brown hair and bright blue eyes, with hands still soft from lack of work. His touch felt gentle enough, though Faust never offered much interest in the petting beyond standing still and allowing the boy to ruffle fingers through his thick fur. The catnip proved a welcome surprise, as was the confession to the feline that he worked at the nearby pet store and was looking for a cat similarly colored to Faust.
Initially his thoughts went to abject panic, sensing that the boy might want to claim the proud Faust for himself, but later confession indicated that he lost a cat of his own. After a sympathetic rub against the boy's leg, catnip rained like gold from the sky and the teen was off, allowing Faust to revel in the spoils,
With drool now covering half his cheek, Faust straightened abruptly, though his back legs still lay pointed at the stars. After realizing this mistake, the Mauvian righted himself before shooting off in a daze toward the cluster of activity forming at the center of the park. The hell's goin on here? He thought in confusion. Two minutes ago this s**t ain't happenin'... Who decided th throw a goddamn battle in the middle of the park? Dammit all... Huffing, Faust ran across the grasses unimpeded.
Strangely enough, a corrupted senshi and an eternal senshi working in tandem against a pair of generals caught his eye quickly enough, and he darted toward the pair in hopes of either a whole lot of a** kicking or a little explanation. Likely he'd find the latter, but the leap he took toward the more boisterous general's head indicated his want for the former. If he could just dig his claws into some eye sockets...

let me know if i need to change his post! Faust attacking Buddingtonite for what it's worth
One of the chibi senshi (Massalia) mentioned going to find a big branch and had disappeared further up the tree and the senshi by him (Pisces) had jumped down in a trail of billowing skirts and gone to help the eternal chibi. The other chibi (Aludra) in the tree, a green-haired senshi with a pretty red hood, was looking out at something but Liryn didn't give it much thought especially as Horatio chose that moment to go help the eternal chibi senshi by the simple act of leaping down from above - a move which was both pretty daring and pretty cool.
Not one to be left out, Liryn had started towards the youma fulling intending to lend a paw to helping - well okay more like a claw - and then had realised when he he'd heard no rustling of branches that the green-haired chibi was still in the tree. Turning around, he padded back towards the tree, noticing when he looked up that she was still in the same position.
"Are you okay?" He asked as he called up to her, as she appeared to be continuing to stare at something. "What are you looking at?"

Navi Didn't know what to do, she was frozen, as Camelot raced off to confront the generals directly. There were other bodies around, others that had flocked to the knight, and they were beckoning to her now. At first she followed, not at all sure it was the best idea, but without a better one.
Then she heard the screaming, a voice high with desperation, and the eternal's head whipped to the side, away from the fight, and off to one side. Fighting was happening all around them, the park erupting with the telltale sounds of battle, but this rang clear across the night and penetrated down to freeze the core.
Without knowing what had happened, or what she was running straight into, the DMC flew into motion, sprinting across the grass until she reached the side of the injured page and the squire that was trying desperately to keep the spear bisecting the page's abdomen from doing more damage than it already had. It was a frightful wound, one that sent the ginger's stomach churning, and she could feel the the color and blood drain from her face as she came to a stop at the Squire's side. She'd been screaming for Camelot, but she'd gotten eternal Navi instead.
"Careful," she urged, hands hovering over the page's shoulders as she stared down at the spear, then up and around, eyes wider, as she recognized the weapon. Painite, that b***h of a woman that had tried to kill Chaonis.
She didn't know any of the senshi or knights around her. Had no clue as to her welcome in this knot of order auras, but she was here to help, somehow, and had to trust the white moon soldiers not to stab her in the back as she straightened and whirled to face the general. "Razor wind Snare!" She yelled it, arms snapping out as a sudden back wash of wind blew her hair around her face and sent clothing fluttering. But it was nothing to the hurricane force blast that was aimed straight for Painite. Enclosing the woman in cage of magical bramble.
The wind was powerful enough to knock back anyone that had been rushing the general, but it was a narrowly aimed attack, the biting currents of air ripping into Painite, but leaving Ida windswept at worst.
It wouldn't last, they had less than a minute before the wind died down and the b***h was free to retaliate. If they were going to save the Page(and God, that wound looked awful!) they were going to have to move quickly. White couldn't teleport, they couldn't mirror walk, they had only their own speed to rely on.
But, Navi could move through mirrors, and she could take people with her.
If she did this, she really would be painting a target on her back, but she couldn't let the other woman die, could she?
Well, a year ago she could have, but so much had changed since then. "I have an idea," she announced, wincing about what she was about to propose. ********. ******** ******** ********. "There's a mirror in the trees, If you can get her to it, I can take you through to one set up by the hospital." It came out in a rush, and Navi could already feel her allies turning against her.
Please please please, let mirror space be empty.
OOC
Razor Wind Snare Navi can form a giant tumbleweed that entraps her opponent. Within the weed wind swirls around at incredible speeds and acts as hundreds of tiny blades, slicing anything they touch, be it clothing, hair, or flesh. This lasts for about a minute and then vanishes.
It traps the opponent completely, but the 'cage' of branches isn't much stronger then a normal bundle of sticks. If they're powerful enough, or have enough magic, that can break free, they would just have to be able to concentrate enough to do so while being slashed at.

Hope Hugbell doesn't mind Pisces coming to help?
Massalia settled on a branch with as many smaller branches as he could carry, simply by merit of moving quickly before moving to return to Aludra, looking to Liryn appreciatively with a small smile. He understood why Aludra was scared, and he honestly wanted to reassure the other Chibi she was okay. They hadn't been seen yet, after all, and he knew that surprise helped. He shifted to position himself better, but was willing to wait for Aludra.]
She shouldn't be alone.
So many CHILDREN. Pisces didn't like seeing senshi younger than she'd so active, mentally scolding the Eternal for not being home, safe, in bed, and huffed a delicate huff of frustration to herself before moving to help bck the chibi up, diving to kick the youma herself rapidly, decorum forgetten for now to lash out in rage.
It wasn't exactly classy, treally, but it did let her help if she ignored proper skirt behavior. Hopefully stilettos accounted for something.
Were people fighting on the walkways now or- well people were stupid and Emily put her cell phone away to sit with a cross expression a moment, rubbing her nose and considering her options. These LARPers were rather quite rude, blocking the pathway, and even if she didn't hear words at her distance, she did know her way was blocked and a rather cross expression came across her face.
OK, Emily, the girl mused to herself in agitation. They don't move in ******** minute, throw the first ******** rock you see.
Goddamn inconsiderate fighting on pathways.

Falias hadn't been expecting to have his friendly warning be met with almost having a book to the face and he had stared startled at the book that had stopped inches from his nose with a startled expression on his face for a moment or two.
Shock had been replaced by irritation, but before Falias could voice the snarky comment dancing on the tip of his tongue and that, combined with the sheepish shrug had had him instead nodding an acceptance of the other's apology.
It had turned out that the Page was as clueless as him as to what was going on, a thoughtful expression crossing his face at the other's query of whether this happened a lot. "I'm not sure" he admitted at last. "I've not been doing this as long as some of the others." It had only been last April when he'd found out that he was a Knight. "The last really big thing that happened was back in May - during that city-wide black out." His voice was serious as he added "The Negaverse was behind it, although I never did get what they were trying to..."
His voice trailed off at sound what sounded like some sort of commotion, the sound coming from further up, along the nearest paved walkway. He could feel carved wood in his hand and when he looked down realised that he'd summoned his weapon - the wand that had replaced the mistletoe on his upgrade to Squire. Not that the wand was brilliant given that those he were up against tended to have actual weapons, but it was certainly more useful than a piece of mistletoe - that had been the most useless 'weapon' ever.
He turned to the Page, "I'm going to go see what the noise up ahead was and see if I can find out what's going on. You're welcome to come too if you want" he left the invitation open ended as he turned and started walking in the direction of the commotion, keeping his pace slow-ish in case the Page decided to follow as he did so as well as his wand to hand - maybe today would be the day that he ended up finding out exactly what his Squire magic did.
"You just might have to drag me there darling, you know where it is anyway. I'm not leaving..." She hissed right back at him. "Report me then. Watch them kill me. Can you really live with my blood on your hands?"
When the blonde Captain took a swing at her with his hammer, Azurite dove to the side, just barely avoiding his swing. "I know damn well who and what I am speaking too. So why don't you go kindly <******** off." With that, Azurite turned her attention back to her water logged General. "I know what the hell I'm doing Buddy." There had to have been someone in his life that he'd do this for. She'd do the same for him if she ever found out he wanted to purify... So why couldn't he believe her now.
And then, of course, that annoying little Dark Mirror had to go and speak up. Not only that but he had used his magic on both Buddingtonite and Mica. "You annoying little pest!" She yelled, her normal cool finally breaking. "Keep it up and I'll put my hand through your chest.

((The youma are free territory! Fight/kill them as you please!))
It was almost too much for Vespa to handle. He wished he could have stayed around to hear Camelot’s speech. He wished he could have spoken more with Amytis, remembering their encounter not too long ago and while she might not have been as instrumental in his decision to purify, she gave him courage and strength when he needed it. Perhaps there’d be time to talk to after all of this chaos was over? He wanted to believe so, so for now, all he could manage to her her was a warm, if not slightly nervous smile, before running with Pasiphae. ”T-thank you… Both of you.”
Mica was right, in a way. He was a coward. He hid behind a wall of people, some he’d either only met once or twice, or haven’t met at all. They were fighting for him. He had moved to help Athene and Maia, not just to quell is aching conscious but because he didn’t want to them hurt because of him, but they were quick to ensure him of their safety. He tried not to take it to heart- perhaps once the Chaos was out of him, he wouldn’t assume the worse in any situation. They were strong, they could handle themselves… he told himself this, deciding it was better to have faith in his (hopefully) soon-to-be comrades, and he continued to run with Pasiphae. They had to find Iris. Before this madness continued…
There was a scream of pain, and Vespa could not stop himself from looking towards the tall trees. There was a General, Painite there with a rather worried bunch, and while there was a familiar Eternal, Ida, though her aura felt much different than the time they had met in the garden, he could not ignore the situation over there. A page (Mimisbrunnr) had taken a spear to the gut, and Vespa found himself wanting to pull Pasiphae to a halt.
”N-no, no, no… she’s hurt!” Vespa stuttered, the horror in his eyes clear to see despite the visor, and despite knowing that he needed to get to Iris, he found himself wanting to move towards them to help. Someone was hurt, because they came to help, or perhaps they came to investigate… or maybe they were just caught in the middle. All around him there was fighting and he was not oblivious to the innocents that were dragged in. ”Pasiphae, all of this… it’s my fault. It’s my fault, isn’t it?! No… this wasn’t suppose to happen… no one was suppose to get hurt!”
The guilt was too much… he wanted to move to help that group, even when Ida was holding off Painite and another (Oneone) assisting with the wound. How could he think to purify when there was blood on his hands like this? What right did he have?

((VESPA AND PASIPHAE ARE MAKING THEIR WAY TOWARDS IRIS))
Had there not been senshi magic at play, Mica could have easily shrugged off Camelot's valiant speech. She would have scoffed, called him a fool and perhaps an enabler. Her faith in the Negaverse was not shaken in the least, nor could mere words from a Royal Knight ever think so have weakened her resolve. And yet, with the shame pulsing through her with the extended contact with the magic bubble, why did she find it so hard to shut those words and their effects out?
"Shut up! There's nothing you can say or do to dissuade me, and he is a fool to be bought by such pathetic lies," Mica said with a growl, feeling her shame compacted now that she couldn't think of anything else to say in the matter. There was no overthinking this, she told herself, and realizing that she'd get no where by striking at the shield, she backed away, just in time for Camelot to bull rush her with his shield. It was not a killing blow, but it did it's job splendidly, pushing her back and sending her stumbling backwards. She tried to drive her hilt into the ground so that she could hold her stance, but there came a shout and something thick and solid smashed against her forehead, the same place that Pasiphae had slammed the mason jar earlier threw her off balance and her spear fell from her hands. Whatever had it her was thick, but breakable, and a quick glance at her hand after she brought it to her face confirmed two things: it was an egg that hit her, and she was now bleeding.
She never got to see who threw the egg. Instead, she saw an apple. An apple, nothing more, and yet, she could not help but find herself drawn to it. 'Damn this senshi MAGIC!'
She tried to resist its pull, but to no avail. Even though she was a general and was still very confident in her strengths, there was no resisting the alluring pull of the apple. She moved towards it, and her foot hit another trap, feeling the force of something slamming against the back of her legs and finally sending General Mica crashing down into the fountain.
She was wet. She was bleeding. She was weaponless. And she was angry.

What the hell is her problem?!
Buddingtonite cared little for the onslaught that was happening to Mica right now, as he trudged his way out of the fountain. He was just as angry and humiliated, but at least he wasn't being barraged with everything under the sun, and he wasn't going to throw himself in harm's way over Mica. He figured this was karma for her, and it was nothing she wouldn't rise up from. For now, all of his anger was split between two beings: Azurite, whom he was going to have to have a few words with later on, and Buyan, who was getting further and further away.
Seriously, talking about the biting the hand that feeds you.
“I know, right? I take a fall for her and this? This is how she repays me?” Buddingtonite grumbled back, stepping onto the side of the fountain and accessing the damage. Yep, Mica was still taking a beating, and Azurite was still running her mouth. What was she even going on about? He could only hear about half of what she was saying thanks to the water in her ears, which reminded him that Buyan had yet to pay for her insolence, and that made him quick to shrug off Azurite’s verbal attack. At least Titan was quick to punish her, and while he should have worried for her safety… she brought this upon herself.
Precisely. Glad we’re all in agreement here.
”Break her legs, Titan! Let that be a message to our little Wasp, once we-”
That was when he noticed two things. Their primary target, Vespa, wasn’t hiding behind the wall of people and, along with the Eternal (Pasiphae), were trying to make a run for it! He was going to grab his crystal to make the announcement, but the second thing he noted was the pure venom in Tantalus’s words, and the shiny apple that suddenly fluttered in front of his view. It was just an apple, and yet, like a cat onto a ball of yarn, he had to have it!
He jumped off of the fountain edge and gave chase, reaching for the apple and completely unaware of the fluffy black cat that had suddenly ascended down upon him like a bat out of hell. Claws missed his eye sockets, but just barely, and the water only added to the pain he felt when the claws dug deep. The apple was still on his mind, of course, but now that was a cat on his face, and the rose-clad general was NOT pleased with this!
”Maggfhasgfh! Gtetregofff! Sereropetnitne! GRA!”
He panicked, and he didn’t care how much energy he wasted this evening. He had already summoned a portal, and that ended horribly. Now, he summoned her personal youma, and Gra, despite his smaller stature, was quick to obey. Appearing from the Rift, he latched himself onto Buddingtonite’s legs and scurried upwards, moving towards the Mauvian that assaulted his master and snapping its pincers rapidly in hopes of chasing it away.
Is a single senshi worth this trouble?

Canopus could have a very one track mind at times, and the safety of friends and innocent lives was definitely a part of that mentality. Her heart pounded in her chest, immediately imagining the worst case scenario in her head and fearing for Mintaka's safety. What was she doing? Was she actually... talking... to the officer? He didn't look like he would strike her, but since when could one trust an officer of the Negaverse, when it was clear that they were so ready to pick apart their own?
Mintaka shouted to her, and though there was still some distance between them, she heard her words loud and clear. 'Don't come over here Canopus. It's dangerous.'
"O-of course it's dangerous! There's an officer near you!" Canopus shouted, stopping in her tracks despite her concern. It was because of this that she noticed a civilian clutching a bag, and the look of agitation and confusion was clear to see on her face. She was torn, but only for a moment. Mintaka might have had her situation handled and she trusted her friend to act to defend herself, but this civilian clearly needed her help. She approached her, slow but in a brisk manner, and she held out her hand. ”Hello, Miss? My name’s Canopus… it’s obviously not safe here. Would you like for me to escort you to safety?”

The blow to Kairatos' midriff might likely do more damage to Kerberos than it did to Kairatos, a thud of bare knuckles against the metal plate of his armor. It evoked a slightly winded grunt from the Knight of Mars, who was far more interested in "flipping off the Negaverse" as Zirconia had put it, than with debating if such an activity were a worthwhile cause.
The magic had a definitely stronger effect, in part because there were plenty of regrets to be found already.
Two of them in particular were still raw wounds.
Two of them named Cove and Degrasse, who he had failed to protect.
He didn't doubt for a second that the grief and regret that made a fresh knot of anguish in his chest and made his eyes sting would be shortly, and vigorously mocked by Zia later, but right now he didn't care.
Right now there was a traitor to the negaverse being hunted by all of these people, and he would not fail again
It also had the secondary effect of helping cause the Mars knight to... well... over reacta bit, lashing out again at Kerberos with his net and a short burst of his magic, a few seconds at best, but enough, he reasoned, to make an impression, apparently figuring for some reason that Kerberos could use some extra incentive to be someplace else.
"You'd BETTER Run, twinkle toes." He snarled, trying to sound intimidating. Which... might have been slightly easier without the 'basket of feels' about the lost Pages.
Not that he was crying or anything.
Nope he just had something in his eye. Both of them. Lot of Dust in this Dust up.
Songstress Kitsune
Quote:
Squire Description: Touch effect from net: Using this net on an enemy causes a psychological effect that makes them start to see Kairatos as being especially intimidating, even beyond his abilities. A particularly strong foe might see him as more challenging than he actually is, and a weak one might even see him as an untouchable, force of battle. The same effect used (unusually) on an ally, would create the same psychological effect, though filtered through the ally’s knowledge that they’re on the same side, would be an encouraging force instead. Aren’t you glad he’s on your side? Aren’t you?
Magic: Almost identical to his Squire magic, but now there is an actual drain on fighting spirit in foes, which is channeled from them, not to Kairatos but to the weakest present ally, to give them the vigor and strength to fight on. If there is no one in the battle other than Kairatos, then the fighting energy is simply dispersed after draining. Personal energy to, say, retreat, remains, but the actual desire to continue to fight fades.
Total Duration: pool of 45 seconds. After the actual magic wears off, the player can choose how they deal with the psychological effects, but the drained energy/spirit will take time to recover, probably depending on how combat minded the individual target is.

Camelot was satisfied when his shield made contact with Mica, and he pulled himself backwards as others launched their own attacks on her. He saw Megrez, the source of the egg that had just slammed into the General, and then there was more magic being launched. Mica was effectively pinned down by the battlers, and Camelot weighed his options. He wanted to make sure that Mica, who seemed to be leading the most violent parts of this assault, was incapacitated. The more Negas they could take out of commission, at least, the better, and if they could do that without killing anyone, then he would do his best.
Perhaps if she fell, the others would lose their will and back off.
Out of the corner of his vision he thought he saw something familiar. Someone, rather. His attention was drawn for a moment, as he turned to see the person retreating. Still, he was sure he had seen her. Zircon. It saddened him to think she was there, supporting the Negaverse side of this fight, but part of him held out hope that she had an interest in the idea of purifying. And perhaps knowing it was happening, she just wanted to see what was going on. He held on to that idea, rather than the alternative, because he could not see her as an enemy any more.
Camelot's attention was further drawn when he heard someone calling for him.
Hvergelmir.
She needed him. The terror in her voice held more of an impact on him than the pleading words themselves, and he found himself turning his head in her direction, searching for her in all the chaos. He felt and saw her away from the main battle, and a flash of red made him think she had been badly wounded. It was not her blood, though, and he saw the victim, Mimisbrunnr on the ground, Hvergelmir hovering over her. Still, someone had been wounded, possibly killed, and he saw the cause. General Painite, doing what she knew how to do best. And from the looks of things, she was damn well enjoying herself.
"I'm coming! Hold on!" Camelot called, turning his attention back to the fight at hand. He lifted his shield to aid the others in their magic, throwing his own at the already battered and infuriated negaverse General. His magic came from a crystal imbedded in the face of his shield. "Terra Viridis Crystal Power!"
A burst of green light tore from the front of his shield, curling through the air before it slammed into Mica. It came with no force, however hard the hit would have been if it had been carrying weight at that speed. Instead, it passed right through her without any mark or sensation of force. All there was, in fact, was pain. Every nerve in its path would react to the beam of light, and respond as if being burned or wounded. The pain would only last a few moments, leaving no real injury behind, but it was meant more as an escape method for Camelot, or a distraction or deterrent. He had not used it in this stage very often, and even he was not fully aware of how powerful it could be now.
He just knew that it could not kill, and that someone he cared about very dearly was screaming for him to come help her. And he needed to go and do just that.
General Painite, meanwhile, head him yelling back but was a bit too busy to really care if yet another White Mooner was going to come and join the fray. Let them all do their worst, or their best, or whatever it was these obnoxious little servants of the 'greater good' liked to call it. She was not going to fall to any of them, and she was certainly not going to be scared by their attacks, their pathetic magic, or their numbers. Painite was on a war path now, and though she knew she had opened a can of worms, she felt she was more than ready for the fall out to follow.
She heard a sweet jingle, and then felt a very heavy blow to her jaw. The first indication that maybe her private boasting and all that bluster was a bit misplaced. She stumbled, spitting blood but laughing as she righted herself, grinning broadly at Ida, noting the Eternal Senshi seemed so upset.
"I am fighting you," she said, prancing a bit as she bounced from one foot to the other, getting really worked up over the whole thing. This was more fun than she'd had in a while, and now that her head was clear and she was no longer feeling like that pathetic mess she had been before, she was really going to enjoy herself. "You just don't like how I'm choosing to fight. There's more than one way to skin a senshi."
A sharp pain in her leg made her look down, and she growled at the little cat, Snowball, that was clawing at her leg. He had managed to break through her pants and her skin, and she was not exactly thrilled at the idea of a cat making her bleed. Even a space cat. She also remembered the last time she had been cat lazored in the face, which was not something she wanted to relive.
"Or to skin a cat! Get out of here, you little furball!" She hauled her leg back from him to get out of range of his claws, then swung it back with as much force as she could muster. She had long ago taught herself not to consider the Senshi cats the same as real animals. While she still had a soft spot for kitties and puppies, she could not be stopped in her goals by cute, fuzzy, but still alien faces. They were not innocent parts in this war. In fact, most of her frustration could be blamed on the Mauvians, since they insisted on continuing to create more and more senshi to cut through.
Cursing to herself, she called her weapon to her hand, distantly hearing it being discussed and not too thrilled about the snapping sound that followed. It vanished, shaft and point, into negaspace and returned to her hand whole, ready to be used again in the battle at hand. Her spear, by large an extension of herself, was not so easily broken. She did assume, though, that Mimisbrunnr would likely be bleeding a bit heavier now, but she had not been paying too close attention to how well the field surgery had been going. She turned to look back at Ida, who she knew would not just be standing idly by while Painite was assaulted by the cat, but before she could even really focus her eyes on her prey a new target entered the battle arena.
This one was supposed to be Chaos oriented, but Painite had never really believed something called a 'senshi' could be truly Chaos. They were all pathetic, the ones that purified, the ones that were corrupted, and the ones that spent their time dancing in mirrors.
The addition of Eternal Navi was a bit problematic. That made two senshi of the same rank focusing their magic and their strength on her, and while she was pretty damn confident almost all of the time, she did know that even she had her limits. Still, those limits had not yet been reached, and if she went down fighting, then so be it. This was what she had been brought into this world to do, after all, and if she could take down at least a handful of these White Moon, or traitorous 'other', scum with her, then she would consider her life a success.
Painite quickly found her nerves tested when a whirlwind of thorny branches encircled her, cutting her and keeping her effectively in place as they sliced through the air in a close circle to her body. She yelled in frustration at Navi's attack, her shoulder and jaw still aching from the blows she had taken from Ida, the shoulder actually feeling rather numb at this point. There was no way, no way, she was going to let senshi magic beat her, and there was no way she was going to let herself be rendered useless because of senshi magic. Her hatred was so strong for their 'kind', it fueled her to the point of madness. Surging forward, drawing her arms around her, she threw herself at the magic tornado of thorns and came crashing through it, feeling herself getting shredded as she did so. She landed and looked around wildly for a target, focusing on Navi first, who was farther away at this point, and throwing her spear at the Eternal with all the might she could muster in so breathless a moment. She then let out a wild howl and turned back to Ida, leaping at the senshi with her fists swinging. blood dripping from the numerous slashes and cuts she had just taken.

"I agree with you. But he also wants to join your side, so I think you can see why he's so stupid about it all. Decision making abilities like that and all..."
Merlinite spoke mostly to himself as he watched Mintaka intercept the oncoming Canopus.
Why were they in the bush in the first place?! If she was just going to leap out of it at the first drop of a hat, then why had she dragged him in here and told him so ardently to keep quiet? Now she was out there, flailing around and drawing attention to herself, and he was stuck hiding because it would look damn weird if he followed her out now and did not attack. He frowned seriously at her from his ruined hiding spot.
"I'd say it's dangerous," Merlinite grunted, giving up his efforts and moving to join Mintaka, moving closer to the duo. "Never know when you're going to be force to commune with nature." He likely did not say it loud enough for Canopus to hear, at this distance, but his stance, hands on hips and an irritated look on his face, likely did more speaking than he needed to.
He watched as the other person got distracted by a civilian, and returned his attention to Mintaka.
"Look, you gotta get out of here before someone notices you and you get sucked into a fight. If someone on my team sees me over here, I'm going to have to keep up appearances, you know? And I don't really want to do that, even if you did probably get a spider in my hair."
Good Good! Canopus WASN'T coming over to her! She was helping out a civilian! Way to go Canopus, you amazing thoughtful you. She rolled off the ground, brushing herself off and smiling.
and then realized where she was and the words that Merlinite were saying. "Oh...Oh duh. Oh gosh, I'm so sorry Merlinite." She gnawed on her lip because how could she help Merlinite out without hurting him now that she had just jumped the bush ship. Fighting was the only obvious answer and for appearance sake, she'd be willing to sacrifice a little pain to make sure the negaverser wasn't questioned later. She could see how vicious they were being with one of the senshi's, imagine what they would do to Merlinite when all cooled down and they were reflecting back on the scene. He was talking to her and trying to get her out of here!
"I'm going!" She squeaked, "But I'm going to make it look like you had no choice but to let me go okay? Please don't be mad okay?" She straightened up, "And get your best super serious face on Merlinite, cause I'm going to hit you.....in the face." Why was she going to hit him in the face? To make it seem like they had been fighting, and she had barely managed to escape. SO. SO if Merlinite was questioned, he could easily say, 'no no she hit me, I pursued, she used her little paper crane snowfall s**t on me, then escaped.'
The plan was foolproof. Hopefully Merlinite didn't mind because Mintaka gave a really...really dainty lady slap across the face. Oh god, she was sorry Merlinite, please forgive her.
"Okay now punch me back." She threw her arms up in defense. "And not with your weapon!" She squeaked a little again, clearly trusting Merlinite. After that, it was her stupid blinding super attack, grab Canopus and the Civilian and get the hell out of here.

((Megrez is still at the fountain!))
Megrez had done a celebratory fist-pump when her egg had hit true, but the victory rush hadn't had the opportunity to last long. She had seen the impressive-looking Knight (Camelot, whose official position as a Royal Knight she did not know) ram Mica with his shield, and then a mysterious force knocked the dark General into the fountain not too far from where Megrez had been hiding (poorly). Unable to hold back a little schadenfreude, she laughed- no, she cackled- when she saw Mica fall. Well, her cover was good as blown now, so Megrez decided to make a daring (and probably foolish) move. Summoning up one of her Super-level ostrich eggs, she approached Mica. "Having fun making a mess?" she quipped, then tried to swing the giant egg down onto Mica's head. If she could leave some lasting impact on the General (literally or figuratively), she would be satisfied.
Eternal Thraen // Paved Walkways towards Grassy Area (West)
At least he had expected that the Lieutenant might become dangerous, her 'loud' imperative not on his list of actions. What Thraen couldn't figure out was if she was attacking him or feeling up his corset even as there was a impact of her hand against his side. She seemed completely off balance, like he should really put out an arm to make sure she didn't end up face-planting with momentum.
The notion fled with the sting of whip across his front- the delicate fabric of white across his chest shore neatly to reveal a rapidly raising red welt, centered with angry white and all diving by increments to bloodvessel purple. The rest of the strike arced down over the front of the cincher, which bore up better. The feel of the welt was plain beneath, but maybe it would stick to red only. The Lietuenant was being swung out of immediate arm-grasp anyway- Zircon. Captain. She ate a soul.
The Eternal of Gardens at least had the wherewithal to lean with the momentum of the General's blow to him, falling back into a skidded crouch so that the Captain's boomerang knocked into the wood-vine gorget instead of face. The portion of it cracked over his clavicle, falling away in tangled green chunks. All close enough.
From his crouch he brought his hands together, in spite the throb of whip, "Thraen Perennial Planting!"
The riot of colour and roiling vines ate the distance of the circle around him even as a voice crawled up his spine familiar enough to not need to look- Alois. Here- the vines...no...it is as much good he be caught in them as free of them. Help comes not deliberate from that corner. Only by chance and amused fancy.
His eyes drew thence regardless, surprised to see that the snake general (Serpentine) was the chosen delectable. As a lieutenant, Bischofite had defended the man. Can't call on Bischofite twice, after all, General...guess you didn't get that lesson.
MAGIC:
Super Sailor Scout Ability: Thraen Perennial Planting How it Works - Thraen folds his hands together like holding a butterfly, the opens hands and they are full of seeds. He blows over them, dispersing the seeds. Hundreds of vined flowers spring up, growing and blooming magically. Their scent causes those who stand near them to fall asleep, while the vines bind them Range - The patch of vines and flowers that grows is a 12 ft radius around Thraen Duration - The flowers bloom in the post he casts them. If allies and enemies do not get at least 10 ft away from the flowers, they fall asleep like Dorothy in Wizard of Oz. The sleep lasts for 15 seconds. The vines, however, last until the flowerpatch vanishes, and they hold a person down, bound among the flowers. The patch lasts for 20 seconds before vanishing. Damage Summary - Someone might get a bruise from falling over. Weaknesses - If someone doesn't stay near them long enough, they don't fall asleep and get tangled. If people hold their breath, wear a breathing mask, or cover their mouth and nose with wet cloth can avoid the scent as well. Once a person has fallen asleep in one flower bed, they cannot be affected by that bed again. Only a separate bed would affect them. This is an AoE (area of Effect) spell that effects allies as well as enemies. Frequency of Usage - Twice a battle.

Cpt. Titanlåvenite // Center Fountain: Main Fight
'Break her legs, Titan! Let that be a message to our little Wasp'
She'd dodged, but it opened up a clearer view of the retreating eternals- Vespa and some other (Pasiphae) beyond the screen. They were getting away and this distracting wall of people was working. Which traitor is the higher priority? I can't tell. One stone against the other would be best?
Green light flashed and there was a splash too big for the fountain's usual play. Mica!
Things were getting far too 'hot' around the two Generals without enough support. Rather than rely on his hammer for a moment, hoping to tumble more birds with one stone (or body), he stooped to try to grab Azurite's leg.
If he got her, she was going to become a human lawn dart right at that apple fellow.

Faust is was on Buddingtonite's Head
For a moment, Faust thought he was winning the war against a General - not only did the man swat ineffectually at the furry lump on his head, but Faust felt purchase on those precious optics nearing his reach. The cat scrambled to adjust his weight while clawing to the best of his ability, but froze temporarily when he felt the darkness pooling just behind his target. And soon enough, a burbling, wretched noise alerted the cat to another adversary at his rear.
While Faust whirled around, he witnessed a monstrous, warped crab climbing up the general's posterior, fully intent on seizing the Mauvian. Instead Faust loosed a loud hiss, ears taut to his skull, while he aimed a few useless swipes at the crab's shell. One of it pincers managed to catch Faust's toes and squeezed to the point of causing the Mauvian to cry out shortly before he managed to free his paw. A few kicks intended to stall the creature just long enough for Faust to jump ship and move onto the next target - another of those corrupt monstrosities sporting white hair far too long to be real.
His stay hadn't lasted long - Faust headed toward the ground as soon as he could to squirt between the legs of a familiar now-captain from a time when he awakened Antiope. Where the hell is she? He wondered during his evasive maneuvers. She'd love this s**t about now. So much goddamn face to punch here and she ain't nowhere in sight.
Far too many Chaotic individuals collected in the epicenter - if he wanted to take them all down, he needed a little help.
Spotting a Mars knight contending with a blue-haired corrupt, Faust dashed off in their direction to hopefully put an end to that struggle and redirect the knight toward the greater menace near the fountain. Before announcing his presence, Faust attempted to scale the corrupted senshi's leg and sink his claws into every inch of soft flesh he could find. "Yo!" He called from a rather uncomfortable vantage point, "******** this kid! There's a helluva lot of generals over there, and I can't jus' go run 'em down on my own! Git'cho a** out there, would ya?"
