Instead of telling Quillan what to paint using various noises, Sludge tried a different tactic; he used his hands to show him visibly what he wanted. It worked even less then telling him with his voice, as all Sludge got were some weird scribbles across his face. He didn't notice the ink on his clothes though, considering they were all black. yylaayl Ticket and minipet please <3 sn: poke mattix

Lusine said in the booth with the face painting ghoul while he painstakingly attempted to render her face into a butterfly. Stepping back from his work, he point to the mirror so she could see. It looked pretty fantastic! She could tell he was very happy with what he had done.

Nova returned to the face painting booth, he gotten to see the swirls of blue and yellow once he's gotten home the night before, he'd been amazed at the wonderfully done abstract version of the sky he'd seen. The blues had swirled and smudged from shade to shade haphazardly, the yellows had been bursts of odd sizes... it had been ever so perfect, maybe the pretty had seen such a sky before. He smiled at Quillan as he took a seat on the empty stool. "I loved your work yesterday!" He announced. "How about I try this one today? I want colorful feathers painted on me, kind of like..." He trails off as he moves his clawed hands to trace around his face to indicate the direction the feathers should point. "...like so." He tries to sit still, really he does. At least he seems to fidget mostly when Quillan's hands aren't touching his face. Though this ends up getting several splotches of ink on Nova's clothing and a perfect hand-print left on one wing. He'd nearly knocked several of the paints over. Quillan feels he has done a sufficient job of depicting Nova's request, actually he had done his best work of the three requests the Incubus had given him. Though he'd made the other a bit of an inky mess otherwise. Quillan hands Nova a Soda Treat Ink. "Daw!" Nova coos at the minipet that is wearing as much ink as the booth owner. At some point Camilla durring a calm period had closed down her booth so she could visit other booths she kinda needed a bit of cheering up after that Kitsune boil got so upset with Dylan
And so here she was wandering around she had dutifully been ghouling her booth and hadn't seen most of the others thats why when she saw the Face Painting booth she smiled cheerfully and bounced over to it excitedly she plopped down on the stool and tried to think what she wanted
It was a glance at her cloths that found her answer "Hi! Id like some simple Jester make up please! Just a white face and two seafoam green circles on my cheeks one on each cheek!" she tells the Ink demon who she recognized as a person who came to her booth AFTER he started painting
It was hard for her holding still when she was so excited but it also gave her a chance to notice why the demon had inkstains on his shirt... why she infact now had inkstains on her white shirt... ah well she had a really good washing machine and some good stain remover
When he finished everything about the face painting was infact perfect least she assumed it was really the only thing wrong was the few inkstains she obtained but that wasn't much of a problem "Thank you!" she says cheerfully then waves and leaves with a smile

She approached the booth curiously - Hollandaise had never met an ink demon before. Surely, they were all good artists. He was a good-looking boil, with pretty gold-ish eyes. Demons were always the most fancy-looking of the student at Amityville, it seemed, and it made Hollandaise feel a little shabby in comparison. Still, she gracefully slid into his seat. "Could I have a flower? Perhaps around my eye?" It was a bit overkill; after all, Holly already had flowers growing on her shoulders and in her hair. But she wasn't feeling particularly creative today. The ink touched her face and her jerked back. A few drops spattered on her clothes. "If it's coming from your hands, shouldn't it be warmer?" Her voice was cool as well, disapproving. She flinched when he touched her face again, feeling the cold ink cool even more on her skin. Giving up, she closed her eyes and let the boil paint her. When he was done, the expression on his face gave it away... Quillina muttered something about objects in mirrors and distortion. Hollandaise doubted it looked anything like a flower. She leaned closely to him, trying to see her own reflection in the shiny buckle on his chest. Her eyes narrowed slightly. "Do you have a mirror?"

The sign is what caught his eye. Face painting? Judas wondered, Hey I haven't done that sicne I was a scareling. It sounded like it might be fun. He wasn't sure why he had some feeling of potential apprehension. After looking around a moment and seeing no examples of what he could have on his face, Judas kinda gave up."Can you do something bloody? Like my wings?"
The roc flapped said appendages he has splattered with red dye himself.

"I would like more flowers please." Trisha gave the boil a big grin. She waited patiently as he painted them on, hands curled up neatly in her lap. He was muttering something again and gave her a ticket. ??? She thought the last flower looked nice. Surly this one was good too. yylaayl ticket! he's shy of trisha it seems.

Emeline was out for another day at the carnival and this time, it was the face painting booth that caught her eye. Well. She had to admit that the idea of something on her face, both secretly delighted and terrified her. Because, honestly, what if it was permanent? That would be...well. Quite terrible, to be honest. Although, maybe it would make her a bit scarier.
But something fun...it would be different, "Hello. Perhaps something...exciting. Like flames or something around my eyes?" It was worth a try.

The flames ended up okay, not as good as she had pictured them being...but hey. It was only paint, after all.

With how many times he'd gotten his face painted, it was a wonder that Lock's face wasn't just a black blob.
But after this next paint job, Quillan had done so badly that his face WAS a black blob. Jackdammit Quillan.
