Lily Lily examined Ilea for a moment. "Ilea, I know that you're probably not sure whether to believe him or not," she said. "I need you to trust me on this one. Nalyne isn't here to hurt you. And even if I'm wrong, don't worry about him. If it turns out that he fooled me, I'll deal with him. I'll demonstrate for him what I did to his brother." She hoped to reassure Ilea about the situation, while also giving Nalyne a warning about what might happen if he ever betrayed her.

Gods! Where was Malphas? He'd disappeared on her while she'd been in the kitchen. He'd know what to say in this situation, what to do. Having Nalyne mention her bond didn't help her much. She licked her lips briefly, "What do you mean about the bond?" she asked him softly. It wasn't that she was ignoring Lily, she understood the threat the woman had issued to the man who was effectively her uncle. She knew Lily could take him out easily. She just had no idea how to handle this situation and wished Malphas were here... Nalyne gave a small nod at her question as he raised Lily's free hand to place a light kiss to her hand, taking her threat seriously, "I can make it so that the bond isn't necessary, effectively nullify it and free you from it. There would be side effects, of course. He would no longer be able to sense when you're in danger, the same for you. There would no longer be any memory sharing. You two would go on as a normal couple," he explained to her, and revealed the master/servant bond to Lily. He knew she had no idea of the bond that held Ilea and Malphas together, a bond that would kill Ilea if anything happened to Malphas. Ilea shook her head slightly as she tried to process what he was telling her but pushed it aside until she could really think about it, "What about Esabel?" she asked him, knowing that one question would matter the most to Lily. He gave a small smile, "I see no reason to alter anything involving her. She's amazing on her own. Altering anything about her would change who she fundamentally is and I have no plans to do that to her. I'm actually looking forward to getting to know her better," he finished that with an indulgent smile that spoke of already being fond of the little nutcase. Ilea gave a nod of her head as she looked around the room a bit, "I need to think... I'll... I'll come back when I can answer you intelligently instead of emotionally," she told them both honestly then left the room entirely. Nalyne watched her go with a frown then turned to Lily, "Did I say something wrong?" he asked her, clearly confused by the turn of events.

Lily Lily watched Ilea, sensing her uncertainty. She listened to her speak and gave a simple nod before she left the room. Her attention shifted back to Nalyne when he looked to her and asked if he said something wrong. "No, you didn't say anything wrong, Nalyne," she said. "In fact, you said everything rather perfectly. She's just overwhelmed by it all. I know she'll come around after she thinks about it. Until then, I may have an idea for something we can take care of." She took a deep breath. "How would you feel about meeting my other sister, Nalyne? She's not like Essy or Ilea. She's actually my sister by birth. I want her here, and I think that I should be the one to go get her. And I would be grateful for any help from you."

Malphas had been silently watching the entire time, his dark eyes glaring at Nalyne while he was there, and then they bore a hole in the direction Ileah left in once she exited. Even if his brother's sins was not his own, this wasn't something he was just going to let fly with him. They were cut from the same cloth in his opinion, and that meant that he wasn't going to fork over a shred of trust to the man, or whatever he was, until he had earned it. Malphas was in a fairly sour mood still from having to come here out of the blue, and then having Dancer being snatched out of his hands the one time he didn't want to kill the slave and actually talk to him. Now there was talk of sisters and.... So much had happened in one short day, and what looked like it was going to be the beginning of a nice, quite, simple life was quickly becoming one of the most tangled times instead. Needless to say, he was irritated, and knew that if he was going to say anything right now, it would likely end up being a phrase he didn't want Ileah to hear from him. Even if she was out of the room, it did not mean at all that she would be out of earshot should Malphas let his emotions get the better of him. He went back to glaring at Nalyne. His gaze almost voicing the threat "If you dare touch Illeah and her sisters, I don't care what you are or how strong you think yourself to be, I will have your hide for a new grip on my sword."

Nalyne glanced over at Malphas and gave a simple small nod, having gotten his unspoken message more than clear. He returned his eyes to lily's and gave her a very charming smile, "Anywhere you wish to go and anything you want from me is my pleasure to give to you, Princess," he told her simply and took her hand to help her to her feet as he rose to his. He could take her anywhere she wanted to go all too easily. He slid one hand around her waist and pulled her in close, "You still have a connection to her, however faint. Find it then think of where she is," he told her softly, already weaving his powers around them both to take them there as soon as she had the location in her mind.

Red Gypsy (I'll quote you in my next post with Lucy so you know where to go.) Lily Lily took his hand when he offered it and got to her feet. She sighed happily when he pulled her in close, loving being close to him. She listened to him give her instructions and nodded. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. She focused on finding what little remained of her bond to Lucy. It was surprisingly easy to find, stemming from both the light and darkness inside of her. And then she found the location she needed, allowing Nalyne's power to see it and take them there.

Red Gypsy (Could you change the name of the room to Lily and Nalyne's Rooms?) Lily and Lucy Lucy was surprised by how suddenly she was in the Re base. She had simply touched Nalyne's hand and appeared there. "Well, that's handy," she said. She looked around the room, not surprised to see that Lily was living in such a luxurious place. After all, Ren and Gin had taken her as their daughter. It made sense that she would live in a big, fancy room like this.
Lily appeared with Nalyne after Lucy and Kaida. She gave them a moment to adjust and then grinned. "What do you guys think of my room?" she asked Lucy and Kaida. "Is it fitting for someone in my position?"

Nalyne placed a light kiss to Lily's temple then moved into the kitchen to see about some drinks for them all. He knew Lily would want a moment with her sister at the very least and this was his way of giving her that moment without any awkwardness. At least, that was the plan. Plus, it gave him something to do while he thought about his brother's 'daughters' and what they would mean to him now. He had no idea how to handle this situation and knew he'd have to answer to the rest of the family over his decision. But he'd face the latter when the situation arose. For now, he busied himself with putting together something complicated but would taste simply wonderful.

Lily and Lucy Lucy looked down at Kaida. "What do you think, Kaida?" she asked. She looked back up to Lily. "I just realized something. Ren and Gin are gone. The two of you made that very clear. So what is your position here? Exactly who are you to the Re now?"
Lily laughed a bit when she heard Lucy's question. "Isn't it obvious?" she asked, keeping that wicked grin of hers. "I'm the new leader. We haven't officially announced it yet, but I'm the one in charge of the Re from now on."

Nalyne came in with a tray of drinks that he set on the coffee table and added one just for Kaida that held no alcohol to it. The others were only lightly alcoholic, just enough for taste. He passed one to Lily, one to Lucy, then took one for himself. He flashed that devastating grin of his before taking a sip from his glass, "Yes... She's the new leader here and doing wonderfully so far... Pulling in her family, both adopted and literal... Setting up a new adviser who had some very good points to make... and finding me on her doorstep..." he said softly, unable to resist himself. He took another sip from his glass then turned to Lily, "Should I give you and your sister some time alone, Princess? I could go and check on the other girls..." he asked, doing his best not to kiss her again. If he did that, he'd have to make for the bedroom and he knew she wouldn't appreciate that.

A running guard slid to a rushed stop that had him slamming into the closed door like something out of a cartoon, causing Nalyne to turn to the door with a frown and one hand on the hilt of his sword. He set his glass down and moved to crack the door open and found a guard sitting on his posterior and shaking his head to get his faculties working right again. Nalyne cleared his throat and raised one eyebrow at the man, causing him to get to his feet in a rush and beg to see 'Miss Lily' right away. Nalyne pulled back just enough to allow the guard just inside and held up one finger to silence him then moved over to Lily, "Princess, there's a guard here with some information for you that you might want to listen to. He seems a bit frantic," he said calmly while the guard moved from one foot to the other and his hands kept moving over his uniform in a visible reflection of his urgency.

Lily and Lucy Lucy seemed to be having trouble with accepting the information. Lily was the new leader of the Re? She couldn't believe that sweet, innocent Lily would rule over the faction that was trying to take over everything.
"Finding Nalyne was one of my favorite things I've done," Lily said, smiling happily. "No, don't go. I enjoy having you around far too much to ever ask you to be away from me." She sipped at her drink and then frowned when she heard about the guard who needed to speak to her. Her eyes moved to the guard. "Speak, then. And make it quick."

Nalyne gave her a wink as he left her to speak to the guard on her own, letting her see that he knew she could handle whatever was coming this time. Instead, he concentrated on Lucy, "Your sister needs you... But if you don't want to be by her side, there is another who could fill that place for you," he warned her softly then moved on to asking her and Kaida about the weather in the area of the base they'd come from since the Re had one of their own not far from it that was primarily used for farming. It wasn't much of a warning. But maybe it was enough to get her to open her eyes and see what she was missing out on... As the talk moved on to weather, the guard reported what he'd seen at the swimming area: the bodies of Allistair and Hal, the disappearance of Dev and one other person. The guard had noting to identify the other person but was able to tell that it was someone Hal had been willing to try to protect. He also told her that he'd done nothing with the scene beyond his observations, that he'd come directly here in case she needed to see it before the bodies were removed. But he needed orders, he needed to know what to do... Nalyne knew that Lucy and Kaida could hear the conversation Lily was having with the guard and simply raised an eyebrow at Lucy. Found it hard to believe that Lily was seen as the leader, huh?

Lily and Lucy Lucy sighed as she listened to Nalyne. "Of course I want to be by Lily's side," she said. "It's just a lot to try to deal with. Last time I saw Lily, she was a little girl who was afraid of pretty much everything because of what Ren and Gin did to her years ago. Now she's grown up, and she's in charge of the Re. It's a lot to take in. But that doesn't mean that I won't be here for her. She's my sister."
Lily listened to the guard report the situation and sighed in frustration. "Leave the bodies for now," she said. "I'll go investigate it myself within a few minutes. For now, seal off the area. Do not allow anyone to get into the swimming area until I have taken a look at it. Go now." She turned to move back to the others, knowing the guard would follow her orders immediately. "It would seem that an intruder managed to get in and murder one of my generals. I'm going to go investigate. Would you care to come along, Nalyne?"

Nalyne gave a shrug of one shoulder at Lucy's words, "Then show her that..." he said softly then got to his feet as Lily approached, giving her a tender smile, "Of course I'll come, Princess. Anything you wish of me, you have," he told her simply as the guard gave her a bow then left at a run to do exactly as she'd said. Nalyne gave Lucy and Kaida a polite nod, "I'm sure Lily has no problem with either of you staying here... There are still a couple of rooms available if you want to stay for a little bit longer... We shouldn't be too long looking into this..." he said to both females then tucked Lily's hand in his arm and headed for the door. He'd said what he had to Lucy deliberately. He knew Lily needed to see that her sister wanted to be here with her, she needed to know it without any doubt. But doubts were all Lucy had given to her sister so far... Even he could feel it from his Princess...
