To whom it may concern,I wanted to see where Dysarrin gets off to. That's all. Of course, he had to overreact. I don't know what he was so upset over, but at least he seemed to calm down in the end and spent the day with me.
He also seems to have a female friend. I am still not clear on precisely how that happened.

To whom it may concern,Akara insists I've not been spending enough time with her as of late. I'm not entirely sure what she's referring to, seeing as I live with her and we interact all the time, but given that Dysarrin has made a habit of not appearing in our typical location as reliably, I lingered behind today when Akara asked it of me. We swam some and I 'raced' her, though obviously that is just as much of a joke as it sounds like.
Then, Dysarrin arrived. I suppose I should be pleased that, in the end, neither killed or maimed the other. As it is, their contentions with each other are as amusing as they are exasperating.

To whom it may concern,We heard rumors of great, previously unseen beasts roaming Ayr, told to us mostly by our uncles. Father didn't want to go, of course, but uncle Lithian and Casseth are going and eventually, Mother actually convinced Father to say we could.
Never having been off of Eowyn other than to travel to the dovaa plane once, it was fascinating, seeing such a different landscape. Father kept a rigidly close eye on us, but even then, Akara and I managed to enjoy ourselves and explore some. There were so many people there. Pity Father didn't allow us to interact.

To whom it may concern,I've made a habit of spending spare hours in Taliuma's library as early as my parents permitted me to walk there when our trips brought us to the area. It's horribly organized and falling apart in portions, but a haven of mine from which I've learned much, even if the total value of those learnings is impossible to pin down. Today, in the midst of my reading, I was approached by an indescribably strange man. I thought him khehorian at first, given his scaled and hunched appearance, claws and reptilian tail and features, but he was eyeless, like my father, and I had to assume in the end that he, like I, was hybrid.
Interesting as it was to see, I do not know why he approached me, or why he stayed despite my instances that he leave me be. He spoke like an old philosopher in a story, winding on about things that would be and great potential. It sounded like a good lot of insanity to me, but at least he listened fairly well and, despite acting as though he was somehow in tune with knowledge of a 'greater purpose' whatever that means, he did not talk down to me and respected my pursuits.
Kazqueth. That was his name.
[The name is scrawled in several places in neat, efficient script with several experimental spellings applied to it.]
He was very odd, for all his strange appeal. I have not seen him again since. He never even asked my name.

To whom it may concern,My attempt to reanimate crabs is going 'better' in some senses of the word than past efforts, I suppose. The entire process, though, is still so horribly exhausting I struggle to see how warlocks of ages past managed to control anything of actual size with enough precision to make this area of study any actual use. I find myself progressively less enthused with the prospect of the body itself and more so with the energy. Life energy is so much more malleable than an empty husk. More trial and error is needed.
In the meantime, Akara found a boy. I'm not sure why she lead him to our uncles' house; he had no business being around to begin with.

To whom it may concern,My father fought in that wretched place. As did my uncle. I do not understand this world. Or, if I do, the "gods" designed it in a way worthy only of scorn, not worship. They mock us, as does everything else.
