Odette backed up against the wall, breathing heavily. She placed a hand on her satchel, feeling for the royal maps and materials she had gathered. The guards ran past her alleyway, and she peered out to see if more were coming. She was in the clear. She ran out into the street as fast as her little tired feet could carry her, dodging trolls as if it were a game of Troll Frogger.
Taking a shuttle to one of the inner city areas, Stryke took time away from the base location putting to use his charm and wit to his advantage. Bringing in more support for the Rebel cause could mean the difference between tipping the scales and actually evening things out. More bodies meant more to carry out tasks and preform chores. The yellowblood took his chore seriously; of course he had to be careful. Trying to convert a stern Loyalist could get him in a lot of trouble he was all too painfully aware. For him anyway, it was relaxing taking his mind of his usual intellectual pursuits, but it beat building or damaging his hearing with noisy explosions and blasts. While he didn't exactly have a knack for it, his obsessive tendencies made him convincing. He believed the rebels struggle was worth fighting for, and kept him on his toes. This seemed like a good avenue for his time. As dangerous as the task at hand may have been, Stryke felt good by the time he returned to Old Hemisect to settle in before the dawn.

Apparently everything was damp. Damp and wet and not very flammable. At least, that's what Kursha was telling himself. It could not possibly be that he was doing anything wrong. It definitely did not have anything to do with that one batch of explosives he had made where he had rushed his blasting cap. There was no way that would come back to bite him in the a**.
Kursha pried open the side of the device. He swore.
Today was a little bit better. Just a little. It felt like she was slowly but steadily increasing her abilities, and that was always good, right?? She felt a little more knowledgeable than normal today.
Day one of the fighting and while he'd managed to take the initial town hall he'd lost it soon after. Granted they DID get it back, but still. Venturing around and out, he was getting slightly better, taking to cloaks and covering his color. Undercolor- a few shades lighter to pass as a lower blood. It was gross, but it did let him feel bolder in his venturing. Even if he was now passing as a... pleb.

Skaeys Fallin - Demolitions
If he was going to be useful with all of the building and destruction, he'd better be well prepared. He watched as explosives were planted and then set off and tried his own grasping fronds at the task. He walked away with singed and smarting fronds.
There was something in the atmosphere, Rasali suspected. Maybe there was a thunderstorm on its way. Maybe it was something bigger. Maybe she was just getting fidgety from working at the camp for so long. Regardless, the energy was really contributing to Rasali's recruiting technique. People were actually starting to listen to her with minimal strong-arming on her part!
Maybe they could sense the change in the air, too. ]

Today's Activity— Intelligence
Odette had to be able to scan the whole city of Old Hemisect from above. The rebels had some captured featherbeasts, and she scanned the city from the air. At some empty coordinates, she practiced her parachuting. She tried to be sneaky about it, but even with her wind powers, she fell flat on her face. She picked herself up and spat out the sand. Well, win some, you lose some. She'd go again tomorrow.
Things were down to the wire now. He only returned to the base camp to restock on explosives ingredients and to chat it up with some of the trolls he'd met in construction and intelligence, doing his best to stay on top of things.
With the conflict heating up, Zeffer finally felt like he was doing what he had come for.
The lead construction man (overseer? Foreman?) nodded his approval at Milieu. Beaming, the little troll felt competent to now be an APPRENTICE BUILDER. Yes, in time, she could really be a force to be reckoned with.
The more he went about trying to bother with finding more forces to pad their numbers. He found it was easy trying to persuade people, using his words as a gentle tool to push those brave enough to listen to him. It must have worked, when the teen came back it looked like his knack for thinking on the fly had resulted in a few more for the rebellion. All in all, it wasn't bad for a days training. He'd reached apprenticeship for all his dedication, much to his delight. Stryke still had field work to do of course but honing his skills was beginning to pay off.

Kursha had given up on strategically placing dynamite. Instead he took to simply lighting it and flinging it at buildings. Surprisingly this seemed to work for him. The buildings burst like grapes in a microwave and debris rained down like hail. Scuttlebuggy-sized hail.

Ganyma was finally getting the hang of it. He considered himself a journeytroll at this, at the very least. With a grunt, he picked up a beam and set it firmly into place. This would be the foundation of a beautiful piece of architecture. Ganyma smiled.
Vremea kept at it the next day, a small smile on her face as she felt her skills increase more and more. This time she definitely felt like she was able to do more than before!
After building so many bases, Lunear figured he might as well practice building. I mean. It wasn't like he was embarrassed by his base making skills or anything. Nope. Not at all.
