The boy blinked in surprise as Mirai swung at him. A slight look of fear came over him before he used his resonance force to power himself forward and away from her, sliding out of the way just in time. SC's eyes narrowed slightly as she watched the two. "Hmmm...but why do that...?" She muttered to herself as she watched the boy. "He could have used his resonance force to spin and catch it...or attack...but he shot forward....why?" She mumbled as she watched. The boy stopped and turned to face her. "Oh clever clever little girl. Why don't you try coming at me head-to-head with that thing? You know? Face-to-face? Chest-to-chest?" He grinned as he began walking towards her again, his resonance force flowing outwards and towards Mirai in waves.

The boy spun around, a slightly grim expression on his face as he tried to follow Mirai but she was too fast. He looked up just in time to see her start to bring down the pipes. His eyes widened and he raised his arms above his head, covering the top of his head in an X shape with them. Both pipes bounced harmlessly off of them. And the boy turned, facing away from Mirai and shooting back out of her range before turning to face her again. "Nice try," he told her, seeming to have regained his calm. SC's ears suddenly shot up and she grinned. "Ah! I got it!" She exclaimed. The boy obviously didn't hear her, too focused on Mirai. "Oh, I so wish to kiss a pair of soft lips right now..." the boy muttered, seeming to be slowly becoming more unhinged as the battle progressed; his true colors showing.

SC looked over at Mirai when she heard her telepathic question. Oh, come on. I can't just tell you! How will you learn anything? Don't worry; now that I know his weakness this guy isn't really any threat at all. He's boring now actually. The cat replied, feigning a bored expression as she looked away. She looked back at the fight after a second, giving Mirai a smile. You can drop the pipes though; you don't need them. Think about it....the way he's attacking. Or rather, the way he's NOT attacking. Or moving. The boy grinned at Mirai. "I wasn't asking permission," he told her in a sing-song voice. "Just hold still and it might even be fun." He exploded towards her again, sending two punches towards her face.

SC gave a smile as Mirai attacked the boy from behind. The boy's eyes widened in what was clearly fear as she appeared behind him. He exploded forward and stopped several yards away, holding his side as he doubled-over. Everything happened so fast it took SC a moment to realize that Mirai hadn't even made physical contact with him; the boy had moved too fast. But the mere passing force of Mirai's kick had literally cracked most of his ribs. SC's smile grew slightly wider as she saw that she was right. The boy was as defenseless as a normal human from any direction but the front. His augmentations had clearly degraded over the time he had been down here. Lucky for them. The boy gripped his sides and looked slowly back at Mirai. "You....b**ch!" He yelled through clenched teeth, his face a mask of rage. "How DARE you!"

We should do God and mankind a favor and kill him anyway, SC thought to Mirai as she watched the battle begin to conclude. The boy slowly turned to face her, a look of rage still on his face. "I'm not telling you anything," he replied, spitting out a mouthful of blood towards her (though he was too far away to actually hit her with any).

Mirai's attack dropped the boy like a rock, killing him instantly. It was an unceremonious end. SC hopped off the small pile of trash she'd been sitting on and walked up to Mirai looking up at her for a second before leaping upwards and back onto her shoulder, taking a moment to balance herself again. "Good riddance," she said aloud now that no one else was around to hear her. "Anyway, we still need to find a way out of here..." she looked over at Mirai to see if she would have any ideas.

"Understandable," SC replied from her perch on Mirai's shoulder. She tilted her head upwards. "You could always just try going straight up and through the roof," she began. "The roof here is thinner than on the other levels. Only problem is that I have no idea where we'll end up. Not sure what's exactly above us. It's the quick way out but it's sure to draw attention." She looked back down, facing forward so she wouldn't talk into Mirai's ear. "Just be careful not to get caught; they like to hold public executions there."

SC nodded as she rose up with Mirai, watching silently as she opened up a panel on the ceiling. "Gotcha," she replied as she went through the opening with Mirai.
