I actually can't stand Anne Rice. She takes too long to describe everything, and makes all the men gay. I don't care if they are gay, but it seems weird that they are straight as humans, then flamboyantly gay once they are turned. It makes no sense to me.

I totally agree with you. I honestly truly tried to get into Anne Rice because everyone who loved the supernatural as much as I do kept raving about her work. I just could not stay focused with her work so to me LKH is a goddess and Anne Rice is a sham.
I mean, ever since she started writing her Jesus books she has denounced her vampire books.
