It had taken Sailor Auriga, Senshi of Pestilence a little longer than expected to make it here. For one, she had stopped to rest. Kerberos had really knocked the wind out of her. She felt like something might be bruised. Giving her senshi healing a little cushion to do its thing seemed like a wise choice. When she finally did catch up to the swirling energy of the group, things were in full swing in the worst way.
"Never fear, Auriga's here," she muttered, mostly to herself. Now, where to begin? Last time, Gunn had given her a direction. This time, she would have to make one for herself.
Up ahead, she saw a horned senshi and one of those Dark Mirror ones seemingly working together against a Negaverse general. What? Weren't Dark Mirrors the bad guys? In the short time she stood there, she understood enough: those crystals were bad and they needed to be destroyed. For whatever reason, this Dark Mirror was sort of... helping? Ish? Auriga could question it later.
Astarte had asked for reinforcements. She got Auriga instead?
Well, three was still better than two -- especially versus a general. Employing the same strategy she had used with Kerberos, Auriga sprinted forward and launched herself at Mica's back.

Athene nodded in agreement at Shangri-La's observation, particularly as he noticed that the strongest of the Nega-auras appeared to be remaining by the crystals. Still easy or not he knew that they had to try and put a stop to whatever the Negaverse was planning with those crystals.
It made sense to join up with Ida and after heading in the direction that the arrow had come from it didn't take long for Athene to spot Ida, there was a Knight by her as well as a blonde eternal and after a brief pause Athene remembered the pair as being Valhalla and Ganymede.
As he moved closer to the trio, Athene was momentarily distracted by Ganymede's aura, there was something about the other eternal's aura although it wasn't something that he could put a finger. And it's not something to try putting a finger on either he told himself. Now's just not the time.
Instead he called out to Ida as he reached speaking distance "I'm sorry for taking so long to get here is..." He'd been about ask if she knew of any plan in place as it was something he had the feeling they'd need given what they were going to have to take on to get near those crystals, but his voice tailed off as he picked up on additional energy signatures cropping up, head turning to glance in the direction of the crystals only to spot youma starting to gather round them. "Looks like they've called in youma to help them" he said liking the whole situation less and less and then he frowned as his attention was caught by movement towards one of the crystals.
Two base rank senshi had decided on direct action it seemed and had decided to attack one of the crystals, that one of the two was a Dark Mirror senshi hadn't sunk in, but Athene recognised the General by the crystal "I'm going to head over there and back those two up" he said to those around him as he pointed in their direction. "I recognise that General and given that she has no issues attacking chibi senshi I doubt she'll hold back on those two." It wasn't like Athene to be impulsive nor was he particularly looking forward to facing the trident-like spear wielding Nega-general again but she'd struck him as particularly vicious and he had no intention to leave the two senshi to her untender mercies alone.
As he turned to head towards the two senshi Athene added "I'll try my best to see if I can do something about that crystal too if I get the chance" and then he headed towards the two senshi (Astarte and Canopus) at a run, not noticing that another senshi (Auriga) appeared to have had the same idea and figuring that at the very least he might be able to buy the pair some time to get out of there by using his attack.
Valhalla made sure to follow Ganymede to the power plant or wherever they ended up, keeping up with her as best he could while dragging a Lieutenant (Tsavolite) along with him. It wasn’t that he had any intention of keeping him prisoner, although his past encounter and conversation with Thraen was definitely at the forefront of his mind. If anything, he wanted to make sure the Lieutenant didn’t do something stupid and get himself killed — like in a fire or something.
As for whatever the hell was going on here… Valhalla just stared up at the crystals and the fighting already taking place around them. “You think they’re trying to gather energy?” he wondered out loud, glancing up where Ganymede was indicating, a sudden feeling of dread overtaking him when he recognized both Avalon and Persephone.
“The taller woman and senshi… they’ve been corrupted,” Valhalla breathed, trying to ignore the overwhelming sense of grief rising up in his stomach at the sight of them. “I don’t recognize the other… But Avalon… she’s an Earth knight… and Persephone helped me fight Bishofite and rescue some civilians…” And now… now they were like this.

When the mint-haired senshi (Cybele) had followed Chaos and Order signatures here, the cream-colored guardian cat in her arms had started to more and more convident of the instinct that had been bugging her the whole journey. There was a starseed calling her and said starseed belonged to the senshi carrying her. The starseed wanted more power but it was a bit difficult to respond to it's call when they were moving.
"You're right, this doesn't look good," Cora whispered. She took a look around the environment. "I can stay in shadows," she assured, looking up at Cybele now. "However, before you go.... Could you loan your henshin pen to me for a moment?"

Ganymede shifted her eyes straight to Avalon as soon as Valhalla uttered her name. She'd never seen her, but she'd heard enough about her to feel slightly uneasy by her presence. She could tell by the tone of Valhalla's voice that he was not entirely comfortable to see her there either. For a moment, Ganymede was tempted to confront her, but she held back, certain Valhalla wouldn't agree.
And yet... out of those Negaverse agents Ganymede knew to be there, she thought Avalon deserved to face her attack the most.
Later, perhaps. There were others already engaged with Avalon's group. Certainly she could be of more use elsewhere.
But where?
Everyone seemed to have already split off. Each group of Negaversers had their own opposition to contend with, and Ganymede found it difficult to decide which group had more of a need for her. Not that she ever really felt needed, or thought so highly of herself that she believed she could actually make a difference, but she had to find her place somewhere. Gunn she was certain could handle herself just fine; she'd definitely put on quite a show back at the department store. Meanwhile, the lower level Senshi making their way toward the other General (Mica) seemed sorely outnumbered, at least until Athene moved to offer his assistance.
The corrupted Eternal (Persephone) maybe? But Tsui seemed to have that taken care of already. Another Senshi Ganymede knew to be capable of handling herself.
Which left the distant figure on top of the power plant (Benitoite).
“I'm going for that one,” she told Valhalla, and pointed toward the General in question. She could determine nothing about them from so far away, but as there seemed to be no other agents around them, she assumed them to be at the head of this little operation. Buddingtonite 2.0. “Take out the leader and the rest'll crumble without their orders. You coming with me?”
Ganymede didn't wait for a response. She jumped from her perch and made her way into the plaza. She felt pumped. She was so ready for this. The adrenaline was still coursing through her strongly; she didn't even notice her fatigue. Her Eternal abilities made it fairly easy to dash around bodies and jump over struggling pairs. She was determined and fearless.
Well, not entirely fearless. She wasn't stupid. She knew the inherent danger attached.
But she felt confident in a way she hadn't in a long time. Still high from her victory over Buddingtonite, she was of a mind to instigate a repeat performance.
At least until a snarling youma lunged seemingly out of nowhere and tackled her to the ground mid-jump.

Thetis had noticed Metis before Psyche had but that had more to do with the fact he was closer to being stepped on than Psyche was. He didn't know her like he knew Psyche and Iris but he recognized her name as Metis. He recognized that she was one of the Asteroid senshi that he sworn to protect along side *********. She looked different than he had imagined, honestly, but he was just happy to meet her.
"Metis!"He chirped quickly, although he immediately found himself regretting his decision. "It's... nice... to meet you..." He said as he lowered his head and turned around on his tiny paws. He wanted to make a good impression but he couldn't help himself as fret about how she might respond to him. Maybe she'd hate him just like Psyche? Honestly, it wouldn't be as bad. He was used to how Iris treated him, but it would still sting.
"Yo," Psyche said belatedly to Metis with what seemed to be little interest. It wasn't personal. The senshi's eyes were simply somewhere else as she watched the figure (Galena) who had just passed by in lieu of ignoring all that English fussing that was happening around her. What was more interesting than teammates? Demons. Demons who must be stopped.
Nodding her head in approval to Iris, the senshi quickly followed suit behind her, although she fussed a little as ********* climbed off her shoulders. She was more than willing to give her BFF Rainbowface the aid and support she needed but ********* always seemed to disappear when the going got tough. She wondered why that was but maybe it was best ********* stayed out of the center of the fighting that was about to progress.
On the other hand, Thetis didn't mind that ********* wanted to hang back. No, in fact, Thetis was delighted by the idea that he might be able to show Psyche how successful of a guardian cat he could be all on his own. He could prove that she didn't need to have ********* around all the time, and that he was fit to be her guardian cat more than ********* was! He could feel it in his little, tiny bones. She was his, and he was hers. He would do anything for her, and he just wished he could prove it to her.
He paused, looking back at Metis, before he waved his paw toward her.
"We must embark swiftly Metis... or else we might become forgotten in all the excitement."
So he took his own advice, sort of. He tried to but his legs could only go so far. Above all else though, he tried to look competent. He couldn't help himself from waiting for Metis, his tail wagging with a bit of excitement. He didn't know her very well but he would like to. He could totally keep his eyes on Psyche and get to know Metis, right? He liked to think he could. ********* looked after how many girls before he came along? Surely he could keep track of two.
Ordinarily, Persephone would've preferred a more chatty approach with Tsui - or, really, with any Order senshi. If nothing else, because she still wasn't a particularly combative person. But alas, that obviously wasn't going to happen.
So when Tsui got close, she swept out her leg, an effort to take the other Senshi off her feet. The knee to her gut made her gasp and stumble backwards, but she smirked faintly, trying to project a very different air than she had as tiny frightened baby basic Persephone. After all, she was a confident, brave Eternal of the Negaverse, now!
"December," she said, a little breathlessly. "You asked when. December 18." Because the exact date was critical to her. She would celebrate it as a birthday, if she didn't have people around her who knew her actual one.
But there was something that made her take her eyes off Tsui - incoming ********," she swore quietly, fumbling for her communications crystal. Youma would eat her as surely as they would any other Senshi, and she was not going to try to divide her focus between them and Tsui. She hadn't particularly wanted to have to call in the General leading the operation, but she also really, really didn't want to get overwhelmed, nor did she want her Lieutenants having to try and defend her from youma that thought she was a delicious fruit snack.
"Benitoite!" She called into it. "I could use some help - incoming youma!" Normally she would've been politer, but taking time to chat would be a very, very bad idea.

Hearing an unfamiliar voice crackle to life over his crystal the blond took in her words and nodded his head, even if no one else could see the action. So she had sent people off to deal with the senshi; good. "Good, keep my up to date on what's going on." If only he could split himself into several copies of himself, he'd be with every group and personally there to watch over everything. It seemed however that magic couldn't do that, at least as far as he knew - how sad. "Indeed, senshi can give energy as well, so can knights. Though I do prefer starseeds over energy when it comes to the enemy." Though he would take what he could get, even if he preferred it be their lives. He wasn't one to turn his nose up at energy. Every little bit helped and went to a good cause; the Negaverse.
"Indeed, I've heard they are rather disorganized. Let's h ope that works in our favor. Keep safe, and keep me up to date on things in your area." He said as a way of ending the brief conversation. That team was doing well, even if one member had yet to arrive. He was glad to hear back from one of the teams and such promising words he'd heard.
So the senshi were massing, no surprise, but had yet to do anything. She was likely right in that they were making some plan and debating and whatever else; good. Let them be disorganized while they remained organized, it would be to their advantage.
As time dragged on he could feel it, how could he not? More senshi and knights. Hissing like an angered cat with it's hair up the blond gripped his weapon tighter. He wanted to get in on the fight! But more than that he hoped the teams could stand up to and hold out against the massing swarm of signatures he was feeling. He didn't like this but they had to remain here, strong, for as long as they could in order to gain every bit of energy they could. he would see to it that this plan of Bischofite's concluded positively, for their side at least. Taking a deep breath he let it out through his nose as he looked down on everything. At least no royal senshi had turned up, he could only keep his fingers crossed that no such thing happened. If one were to turn up he would see to it that he engaged them and keep others back, focused on their tasks. He would keep them as busy with him as he could. But he hoped none turned up; that would be a fight he didn't think he could win.
It was from his height above everything going on that he saw the senshi magic go off and he grit his teeth hoping it didn't result in a destroyed crystal. Seeing nothing happen he let out a breath he hadn't even known he'd been holding onto. "Good." Whispered to himself before his communications crystal vanished into subspace. maybe it was time he should be heading down to join the starting fray. It seemed like things might start soon and he might really be needed, if the massing order signatures was anything to go by.
Finally, after what seemed like forever, and perhaps it was, the petite blond summoned his friend from the depths of the Rift where he may have been napping, or chatting with some other intelligent youma. He knew that no matter what Bazzite might have been doing the other would be happy to join the fun. Slate eyes glanced down to the going on's as he summoned his communications crystal and brought it to his lips.
"Does anyone down there require, or wish, for assistance? I'm rather bored up here and if anyone would like some help I'd be more than willing to come down and help."Oh yes, help. Help spill blood and break bones while screams of pain filled the air, it sounded so nice right now. He couldn't help that his mind, his imagination, had gone down a rather dark path. It simply seemed to happen on it's own in situations like this when he was powered up. had someone been heading his way? he'd seen some figure, maybe two figures, headed across the plaza seemingly intent on avoiding all the other fights taking place. Had they been planning on heading for him? How nice! They had wanted to pay him a visit and cure his boredom.
"Bazzite...would you like to play down there with some senshi? I'm sure some of our friends down there could use some assistance in ridding themselves of some pests."
He would have remained above, watching, waiting to see if anyone minded him joining them but then a call! A call for help and one he was quick to answer as he replied back. "Teleporting down now." He might like youma and the one calling him might be on the side of chaos but a youma didn't care what signature she bore, whether it was order or chaos, it only cared that it carried a senshi signature as well. He had a corrupted senshi to protect and that he would do.
With little thought he teleported himself down from his high up perch and down into the fray, right down at the green haired corrupted's side. "Persephone." The word, her name, whispered in a gentle greeting as the communications crystal vanished once again. His weapon, in his other hand, held tight as he glanced to Tsui. "Have you got the senshi handled?" He asked gently while his slate eyes moved from Tsui to the incoming youma and he tilted his head in what might have been a cute and childish fashion, it would have been if he didn't have a weapon on him and didn't reek of chaos as he did. The youma got the childish look from the blond who managed to pull off a distant sort of vacant look, and rather well, for a few moments before lips parted and an order was issued in a voice which left no room to do anything but obey. "Turn around, find another place to be. You are welcome to kill those of order but this one." Motioning with his head to the green haired corrupted senshi. "Is not yours to attack." He would see to her safety and any others who needed it, as was his job in this plot of Bischofite's.
"I've summoned Bazzite...he'll help keep some of the youma back." He'd have to tell Bazzite as much, but he knew the other would help keep the other youma from their corrupted senshi.

"Oh, you can't be serious..." Astarte mumbled, dumbstruck. Had Canopus really thrown herself in front of the Demon as a method of defense? She remembered what happened at the warehouse, didn't she? Smoke clogged your brain, love? The Negaverse has no problem killing you too. Don't throw this mock allies business out there as a lifeline when you might find that rope's not tied to a bloody thing. You're just as likely to get run through as I am.
However, an idea struck her as soon as she recognized Canopus' defensive stance. Arms splayed outward, legs spread at least a shoulder width apart... Yes, she could do something with this. In a quick effort, Astarte dropped to the ground and propelled herself with a push toward the general's ankle - a makeshift power-slide to hopefully take her off balance. Perhaps if the general had a fall, the time for her to recover provided a head start for the pair of base-level senshi. However, Canopus' magic still held firmly on her, and she felt its agonizing slowness with every second spent reaching the trident-wielding agent's position.
She's going to see me a half an hour before I get there... She thought bitterly.
But curiously enough, from her unique vantage point, she spotted a senshi in green who lunged toward her very same target. And if both their attacks connected... Well, Astarte expected her reflexes in leaning back would be put to the test. That placed Canopus in a tricky situation... Take a spear to the chest, or a general to the face. Yet, Astarte possessed no way of offering a heads up without alerting their enemy to the same measure. Hopefully the new senshi's auric energies provided a clue toward her antics...
But that wasn't the only surprise. Though Astarte couldn't see the male senshi approaching toward her back, the overwhelming sense of an eternal's power temporarily singed her perceptions. Oh, it looks like this girl was in for it now...

Falias had been starting to feel very much like an unwanted additional extra in the discussion between the conversation between the Dark Mirror senshi and the dark blue-haired senshi (Astarte) with what looked like horns in her hair, particularly as the latter appeared to be blatantly directing her attention to the Dark Mirror senshi alone. He did however manage to find out the name of his Dark Mirror companion, Canopus. He had smiled slightly at her slight curtsy and said "Nice to meet you Canopus, I'm Falias" but had left it at that that now really wasn't the time for introductions not with the Nega goings about around the crystals.
Despite the blue-haired senshi seemingly solely interested in Canopus, it seemed that she did have something of the makings of a plan, so when the two had started off in the direction of the crystal being guarded by the general with a trident-like spear he had followed after them or at least started to.
Partway there however his attention had been caught by a civilian (Fiona) who seemed, at least to his opinion, a little close to the goings on, in fact he thought her close enough to be almostdangerously too close. A frown flitting on his face What is she doing? This is no place for civilians, not with... More auras caught his attention and he briefly turned back to look at the crystals only to spot that youma appeared to be amassing as if things weren't bad enough with the Negaverse there and doing whatever it was they were with those crystals.
Turning he diverted and headed in the civilian's direction "You to get out of here" he called out to her when he was close enough. "It's not safe here." Particularly since the Negaverse had taken hostages earlier on by that department store and especially since it seemed that youma appeared to have been added to the mix.
Quote:
Anyone is open to target Falias, but please quote me if you do so that I don't miss it
Liryn had been gratified when first one and then both of the auras had paid attention to his mewing, particular as both the blue-clad Uranus knight and the Super senshi had not only dropped down to his level but had offers scritches too.
He knew that he couldn't indulge much given that now really wasn't the time, not with those crystals and now youma? He turned his head slightly and tried to glance at first one and then another crystals but he could sense the auras and those were definitely youma ones.
"Yes it does" he agreed, adding "I will help" there was a slight purr in his voice as he spoke that was a side-effect of his happiness at the offered stroking. "I was going to try and get closer to the crystals and see if I could help that way, but I can sense quite a few senshi and knights here and taking care of those youma might help them take care of those crystals." He wasn't afraid to swipe at a few youma or even bite them if needs must, although he mused that maybe he should stick to just the claws, well and the kitty beam - although the latter would be more of a last resort thing - using the kitty beam was tiring, very tiring. "I am Liryn and I will follow both your leads" he added and by follow their leads he meant lend a paw to help.
Although the Uranus knight and the Super senshi may not have been looking for a feline companion, for better or for worse they had effectively just gained one.

Mica was growing impatient with the Mirror senshi's stance, but there was no time to threaten her again, thanks to Auriga. Because her attention was focused on the two basics ahead of her, she hadn't spotted the senshi in green until she was already upon her, and her attack landed successfully, thrusting the general forward with a desperate stumble to maintain her balance. She would have rewarded the senshi for her actions with a cheeky quip and then a swing from her trident, but Auriga had pushed her directly into Astarte's, and any chance she had to correcting her stance was gone as she went crashing down. And then the final blow came from Canopus herself, ducking her head and sticking her shoulder out and causing Mica to flop up and over her shaking form, right onto her back.
It was a rather embarassing predicament she found herself in and the fall was much more jolting than she thought possible. If she were a creature of pride, she might have felt an additional sting to that trifecta attack, but as far as they were concerned, it seemed just like business. She threw herself back onto her feet, anger beginning to seeth within her though only a fraction of that shone in her eyes. These three senshi were going to pay.
She held her spear up to strike, but the sound of a guttural bellow drew her attention to her left, and she could not hide the momentary confusion from lighting her dark features. She never thought she'd be receiving back up in the form of a youma, and a rather nasty looking one at that. Its eyes glistened with barely contained rage, as the bull scratched at the earth below with sharp, cloven feet, and when it shook, its exposed backbone shook, throwing off excess skin. Certainly a disgusting sight, but the general was hardly afraid. She'd take reinforcements in whatever form she could take.
"Very well. Kill them."
Canopus didn't need to be told that what she did was incredibly stupid, but she was also too afraid to admit to Astarte that she was too afraid to move now. She hadn't seen either Astarte's attack, nor Auriga's brave charge, so when the general suddenly came falling at her, she ducked and braced herself, feeling their bodies collide.
Having closed her eyes, she missed Mica's grand fall, but she did hear the youma's approach. It was a disgusting creature and Canopus could not deny the way her knees shook at the mere sight of it. What was this? The third youma that looked to her with deadly intent in its eyes? She was really starting to hate the Negaverse and wondered what Princess Ares was thinking when they once held an alliance!
At least she definitely wasn't alone this time. Astarte was somewhat safe so long as her magic held, and she looked to her and Auriga, clearly looking for suggestions. She had an idea, but... surely it would be too dangerous to suggest! The Eternal that was on their way to help them may have had a good idea...
Galena and Lellouch reporting in was a double edged sword for Vespa, but the Eternal wasn't going to argue or complain. He may not have wanted whatever grand scheme to succeed but that didn't mean he wanted his fellow officers harmed, so he chose to take some relief. He glanced towards Carnelian to check on him, and that was when he noticed that Mica was now engaging three senshi, AND there was an Eternal on the way.
"Oh, that's not good!"
He didn't want to help Mica and he was certain that she could handle herself, but he could not shirk on his duty. Not now! He hadn't seen the youma that practically emerged from no where, as he rushed to intercept the Eternal senshi. He didn't bother calling forth his energy wasps, knowing now that they were utterly useless unless he hugged onto the other, so instead he was going for something simple, like a punch of a kick. Surely he couldn't flub that up, right?
"You, back off right now!"

Tsui's blow may have connected, but so did Persephone's, and Tsui found herself stumbling for a moment before regaining her balance once more. It was enough to stop her from striking out immediately, giving her a chance to hear Persephone's words, and she didn't like what she heard. Fairly recent, which meant that it could have been prevented. This was a failure on her part, somehow... she could have stopped this!
The Tiger senshi was reeling back her fist for a strike, but Persephone's curse as well as the tickling of chaos aura to her senses alerted her to the approaching youma. She thought little off it- they may have once been human, but they were nothing more than monsters now. What bothered her was that Persephone seemed bothered by their appearance, and she couldn't help but find herself sneering. "What? I thought that they were your pets now? Isn't that suppose to be a perk being part of the dark kingdom?"
Did youma attack corrupted Senshi too? Could Persephone not control them like the generals could? That was certainly interesting news, or would be if it didn't mean she'd have to deal with the youma.
And that wasn't her only problem. Persephone had called Benitoite, and only then was Tsui forced to take a step away from her corrupted comrade. He may have spared her--and Persephone-- from the youma, but that only meant that her death would come at the hands of that spear he carried, so there was no time to even pretend to feel relaxed. She tightened her hands into fists, knowing that she'd likely have both of them to contend with now... what a fine mess she got herself into. One general that wanted nothing more than to see her dead, and one who already gave up her soul and had nothing left to lose.
"So, you think tonight's the night you get your revenge, Beni?" Tsui held up here fists, making it clear that she'd rather go down fighting than flee. Silently she hoped Bazzite wouldn't track her down... she was still coming to terms with her involvement in his transformation, and fighting three at once... that was crazy, even for Tsui. "Or would that distract you from your grand scheme here?"

NEW MECHANIC!
_______Rolling for Youma!
The Negaverse is channeling energy into crystals stolen from the Rift, which is starting to attract youma! Between the juicy, energy-filled crystals and the delicious-looking Order characters over yonder, they're torn between what to devour! In the Rolling for Youma mechanic, a player is randomly selected from a list for each faction. Those two players have the option to roll a 10 sided die. Whoever gets the higher roll means the opposite faction is stuck with youma control for the day! For Drainers: if you're chosen, count your Rolling for Youma score as your energy drain score too!
For example:
_______Aeeth rolls two ten-sided die: 3, 29. Avalon and Psyche are the lucky winners!
_______Avalon rolls a 6. Her player chooses not to reflect her roll ICly (Avalon does nothing to discourage the youma, they just have short attention spans)
_______Psyche rolls a 7. Her player chooses to reflect her roll ICly (Psyche curses out various youma in Greek. They look intimidated. Suddenly those energy orbs that lieutenant is carrying look mighty appetizing)
This mechanic is completely optional. If someone is rolled but does not have time to make a roll post or simply decide against it, it will be calculated the same as having lost. If both people rolled do not have time to make a roll post or simply decide against it, the youma will remain in the same position as before. Since the starting position is staring hungrily at the Negaverse crystals, that would be where they'd remain! Rolls will be daily for the last four days of this Tier (or until the finalized date)!
For example:
_______Empressite rolls a 3.
_______Ganymede decides not to roll this round. That extra-sweet energy signature is looking mighty delicious; the youma attack Order today!
Rolls will begin shortly, following this post! Stay tuned!
