A loud screech fills the air - It's the PA system once more.

Like last time, a squeaking, familiar voice fills the air, but something about this announcement feels a little...pre-recorded.

"GOOD MORNING! Someone has opened the Lobby Doors!" The voice was cheerful, as if it was delighted that it was open. When it spoke next, it was a darker tone, one that hadn't yet been heard from the gas-mask wearing minipet. "-Are you sure you can trust them with your life?"

The voice coming over the PA system completely took him by surprise. Weren't they supposed to congregate and talk about a stategy? Well, then. Apparently Aurel couldn't trust that plans were going to be followed. He frowned and pulled his sledgehammer back up over his shoulder, going up the first floor and then back to the main.

He needed to find that key from that game console. He needed to give it to someone he could trust - whoever that could possibly be - to get out and get help. Remi was the best bet, if he could find the other boil. Right now, the only other person he trusted was Mathias due to him stopping him from doing something really stupid.

Aurel went back into room 201 where the broken game was - having no idea how the hell to play it anyway - but tried to open the adjoining room 201A

Kyribird
open the adjoining room 201A

The door seems to be locked, but you can see a flickering light from under the door, and what sounds like static on the other side.

Goddamn locks.

Aurel sighed, slamming a fist against the door in frustration before making his way to try and open room 208. He was a leshy on a mission - lost things were his forte. Time to find this piece of s**t console thing.

Kyribird
making his way to try and open room 208

Unlike last time, this room opens rather easily.

The room is filled with electronics.
There are piles everywhere, with no distinguishable order at all. There are loose wires attached to small pieces of tin, computer parts, broken eyephones and wall phones, and just...it's a total mess in here. But you feel as though something in here might be important, and so you start to fish through the piles in an attempt to find something of interest.

The OOC

Searching the room!

You swear there is something of interest in here, the key is, what is it?

  • Roll a 1d100 and match your result with the prompts below:
1-9: You search through the wreckage, but you come up with nothing helpful.
10-29: You reach into a pile and - ow! - something sharp cuts your hand. You pull it free, and see a long cut down one of your fingers. Then, out of nowhere, you begin to feel dizzy. You're light headed, the room is spinning, and you feel sick to your stomach. The feeling eventually fades, but your finger will continue to throb. -3HP
30-49: You find a handheld game system, and it's in one piece! You turn it on, and it has just enough battery to flash a surgery simulator across the screen. The battery cuts out and the screen goes black...looks like you can't play it. Too bad.
50-69: More chaos. Very little distinguishable items, and one of them even gives you a shock! How is that even possible?
70-89: You find something else in the piles, and you recognize it instantly. It's yours. What is it doing here, in with the trash? (Note: It doesn't have to be an electronic item, so long as it is not one of the items that you listed in your original PM).
90-100: You dig through the wreckage, and find...a control panel? It has a couple buttons on the top and the word 'MEGA' written across it in still-drying graffiti. You have a feeling that you know what this belongs to, and you decide to hold onto it for now. Please quote The Escaped with your post!
  • The 90-100 roll prompt is the only one time find! Everything else can be found as many times as possible.
  • You may roll as often as you'd like.

Eventually you determine that you will find nothing else here, and simply turn to leave.

Welcome to the (incredibly messy) Storage Room!

This is a self-driven room, meaning that any attempts to search it further will be fruitless and not have any further prompt responses outside of what is written above. You may complete this as a group (rp while you search) or as a solo. It can be broken down into as many posts as you need, so long as you remember to keep the code below at the top of each and every post!

Once the control panel is found, there is nothing else to search here, unless you'd like to roll anyone for flavour's sake.

Please also put the following code at the top of your post while you post this room:

OK, no. Someone needed to organize the s**t out of the room. How could he find anything in here? Puttingon his ddetermined face, Aurel started rummaging through the mess of items only to get shocked. He yelped and brought his hand out to inspect. Luckily, there was no visible damage.

[ ROOM 208 ]

Aurel continued to try and search through the pile, though wasn't having much luck. A sharp pain in his finger shocked him again though this time when he yanked his hand back a small stream of blue blood leaked from the long cut. He felt dizzy and out of focus - which was weird since look didn't make him sick. The Leshy sat down on the floor to catch his balance and as quickly as it came, it passed. Back to searching.

[ ROOM 208 ]
Luckily this time there was no painful surprise. Just a game ssystem he knew nothing about. It didn't look like it belonged to what he was looking for so he simply set it aside. Lord knew he didn't know how to play it.

[ ROOM 208 ]
He was determined....but apparently, things were more determined to hurt him. Once again he was cut and this time he cursed loudly and let the dizziness pass before diving right back into his search, trailing his blue blood.

[ ROOM 208 ]
Now with three bleeding fingers and an upset stomach, Aurel decided it would be a good idea to get some bandaids and maybe a shower...

[ ROOM 208 ]
OUCH. Aurel made a grunting noise as he was shocked again. Why was he still looking? He honestly---Oh, right. Electronics. These were electronics and the game thing was an electronic so the jacking thing had to be there...time to keep looking.

Besides. He was safe - kind of - in this room.

Parker.

...Parker.

Why did you shave trees and leave them in the Electric closet? Good job. Aurel kept finding branches strewn about and he was about ready to start a fire.

Rummage...rummage...SLIIIICE. There went that familiar dizzy sick-to-stomach feeling. Seriously. What was Parker coating whatever was cutting him with? He waited five minutes for it to pass and continued searching
