(Whoops, sorry, Soulvar xp My family and I went out to eat so I left it on the post screen so I didn't see you're post. Wait i'll go edit mine.)

(Ack...you weren't supposed to say anything about that. eek I don't know if Myythren's character knoew about that, does she? Anyways that wasn't in my story i'm trying to avoid that. My character doesn't know if Myythren knows that.)

"Right," I nodded to Jaden. I continued to look at Myythren to see how her response to my story was going to be.

"I think hes a good kid Myyth." Jaden said watching Silver walk out "I just think he got angry and walked in on something at the wrong time." He turned to Myyth "You need to understand that if anything comes from this I'll deal with it, I feel I have a certain responsibility about it. I've checked, there is no way this will effect the Pack unless the Coven learns about it and does something. I just ask that for once you should trust me about this." he sat down "Also while I'm on my path of atonement I wanted to ask something of you." he looked up at her very seriously "Could you and Dusk give me a position? I'm already naturally strong because of my heiritage but I need to do something. I don't want any political power but I could be a soldier, a hunter, a tracker, a bodyguard, a emissary, just about anything."

"I'll have to talk with Dusk once he's himself,but I'm sure something can be arranged. If the nausea don't some back, I should be okay for another month or so, after which I'll have to scale everything down. Perhaps Dusk's second while I'm out of commsion and we could adapt it more later once you've had a chance to do it for awile."

She grinned, though a bit tiredly. "It'll be good to have someone else around, but for now I think you should stay under the pack radar. We need to know what Fin is going to do, and since I doubt she'll come any where where near myelf or Dusk...."

"As for the Vampires, I'm not particularly worried. If one of them had been killed we might have a problem, but nothing of that sort happened. In any case I'd rather be fighting them than anyone else in the city."

"That would be helpful. Finn is a young female, she's been with us for about 6 months. She feels that we shound't be allying ourselves with teh hunters and should instead stand with the vampires." Myyth shrugged and went on.

"Our conversation got a bit heated and I think we both lost our heads......She said she'd get us a treaty with the vamps to prove that their not the enemy. I told her if she managed that I'd sign it, and Dusk likely would." Taking her now emply water bottle over to the counter Myyth spoke to him over her shoulder.

"So she's off to try that, but if it fails I don't doubt she'll try to find a way to end our alliance with the hunters.... Or organize a few lycans against us. In any case she needs to be watched for our safety and hers."

"After being sloshed silver nitrate I wasn't too fond of the hunters here either. But things don't alway go on the way you'd expect. So far as Finn goes I'm not sure yet. We'll need to get her back, but I don't know how much risk we can afford right now." Looking out the window for a sec she visualized what she knew about the vamps and the current situation .

"It'll have to be a small operation, get in, grab her and get out before they even know we're there.....If we equip everyone with UV lights it might work even better. But until she makes her move and they theirs, all I can do is get some equipment together." Myyth shrugged and turned back to face him as she paced in the other direction across the room.

"What worries me more is if they accept her treaty, and turn on us later. We'll lose people we can't afford, and I'll have to make an example of Fin." Myyth paused and for a moment looked as tired and depressed as she felt, before her cool, rational mask retuned. "I'll have to have her killed, and while there's nothing I want less, I'll give the order and pay for the bounty." Repressing her feelings of self loathing, Myyth shrugged and turned to toward Solvar, with a square Palm pilot like device in her left hand, which she extened out ot him

"I've set this to Dusk's chip, It'll track him all over the city, although it can't tell you if he's below or above ground or how high up he is. It does have a city map loaded into it, so it'll plot his position relative to that. I have one as well, and after I go tell my mate what the hell is going on, I'll go see if he can be brought back to his senses and human form."

Myyth smiled briefly as she pointed out the buttons on it. "The on switch is the red button on the back, after which it come up to your basic map screen." Clicking it on she showed him as she contiuned. "The green buttons zoom you in and out, and the grey arrow buttons move your screen around....., it takes 3 double A batteries, the lithium ones for cameras and electronics work best."

"Thanks Jaden." Myyth waved to him as he left. She needed to talk to Omki badly, but she had stuff to do first. Going into her bedroom, she grabbed her laptop and and laid on her stomach on the bed before flicking it on. Bringing up their database she looked up Fin's file. To herself she said softly. "Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer."
