Niflhel nodded, "They're good facts to know." He had added before he'd gotten too far out of ear shot.
Standing there he smiled when Camelot saw him, "I'm doing well, been keeping up with Polaris and trying to help her keep up with her knights." He shook his head, when he asked if they'd found anything. "Honestly, not sure. I'm use to being pulled away unceremoniously after all this time so I figured I'd just wait and see what happens."
He seemed to tilt his head a little, "Say has you uniformed changed a bit since the last time I saw you?" Though he paused as Camelot seemed to become embarrassed when a younger knightlet seem to cling to him. "If it wasn't important I don't think we would be here."

"Ahem"
Shalott narrowed her eyes just a little when the Venus knight started speaking sugary sweetness to her husband. After extricating the unwelcome page's arms from around his waist, she gently placed herself between Dendera and Camelot. He was already fumbling for words and Shalott was not the most understanding of women. No one made him bumbly but her.
"Is there a reason you're fawning all over my husband?"
There was just a hint of challenge in her tone. This was not amusing?
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ ((Vesuvius is open for interaction))
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ He didn't pull away, that was a good first step. Sherwood kept her arms around him and stayed close. His words made her smile and she finally laughed, a little bit of the tension eased by his joke.
"We can hope."
They were both in the same boat, experiencing this war in a new way.
"I don't like it here. It's too warm."

The response Shalott got was probably not the one she was expecting, since as she carefully extracted Dendera's pink silk clad arms from around Camelot, they were just as rapidly thrown around Shallot's own neck and waist, as he sleepy eyed Venus Page attempted to sweep Shallot into a waltz in the limited space. "Oh you two are married? That's just darling! What a lovely thing to come from such an unlovely war. Are those streaks from Sun or did you get them at a salon?" She added, pausing in her attempts to dance long enough to assumptive twine her dark fingers in Shalott's green hair. "Ooh and the pearls. I hope he buys you pearls because you look very nice in them. There's a string of peach freshwater pearls at that jewelry store, tell him to get them for you when you go home. Wear them for him. Trust me." She purred, her tone dripping honey and bedroom promises. Quote: Anyone who wants to deal with Dendera's happiness and is around Camelot and Shalott is welcome to. wink

He’d already been expecting it. If there was an opportunity to be loud and possibly cause a scene, Babylon was most likely to be there and wanting full attention. And so when he heard the Mercury Knight’s teasing comment about what he’d said to Themiscrya, Valhalla tried very hard not to draw in a deep exasperated breath or roll his eyes. He didn’t quite accomplish it, but at least managed to turn to completely face Themiscrya for just a moment, so his reaction was at least somewhat shielded from the other young man’s view.
For the moment he chose to ignore Babylon, but he was sure the Mercury Knight would find another way to get under his skin.
Another Mercury knight by Babylon spoke up — it was quiet but his comment made Valhalla grin in his direction. “I’d probably say the same about my own planet… it’s just a bunch of rain, really,” he joked, feeling that he would like this young page if he was willing to counter some of Babylon’s potentially insensitive jokes.
“It probably doesn’t seem like it now, but you’re lucky you’re a knight. Or at least in my experience, anyone with these kinds of powers tend to heal faster,” he shared, frowning sympathetically towards Andronicus. “I was there for a short amount of time… I… still don’t really know what the purpose was,” he said with a sigh, wondering if he would be better off just not knowing. It was already distressing to know these incidents happened at all.
Valhalla then turned to peer curiously at the other Mars Knight that appeared, one who obviously knew Themiscrya and could vouch for not recognizing where they were. “Ever since I found my ring, I’ve been keeping paper and a pen with me,” he shared, indicating to one of the pouches on his side, but was soon to let out an awkward laugh and shook his head. “Not for stuff like this, but it’s more convenient when you want to send a note to someone I guess… Valhalla of Jupiter,” he greeted the Mars Knight, Mercury page, and injured Page.
There was another voice that caught his attention, and he lifted a hand to wave hello to a familiar Saturn Knight. “Niflhel, good to see you,” he smiled, before shrugging lightly in regards to their weapons not working. “Maybe… maybe not. Always worth a shot? If anyone has healing magic, I mean… I wish I did.” But soon Niflhel moved on, which was fine because there were plenty of people to greet.
“For being such a jokester, you really take things way too seriously,” Valhalla finally spoke up in Babylon’s direction as the knight went on and on about the geography of Mars. But that was about as much as he could manage for the moment, and turned to Ashur with a large smile. “How’ve you been?” he asked, glad to see yet another friendly face.

Aventine nodded, skimming the room after Falias started sharing some ideas. There were definitely a few knights here—and someone stronger than anyone she'd ever met. "Mars, huh? …Lucky for those Mars knights. Wish it were Venus. But then, I've got no reason why we'd be there, so…"
She breathed a heavy sigh and chewed on the inside of her cheek thoughtfully. "You know, I don't think I've ever met a Mars knight. But I mean—you are looking good!" She grinned, trying to lighten the mood; there was an unsettling feeling in her stomach and she suspected it wasn't just her belly aching about eating so much food at once. "Squire! Moving up! When did that happen?"
-
"I don't like it here for more reasons than the weather," Newgrange admitted to Sherwood; he was comfortable on Earth, so the thoughts and whispers that they were elsewhere? They did little but unnerve him. "I'd rather be back on my patrol, but I suppose there's a reason for us being here."
Hopefully it wasn't mass genocide.
"I don't think I ever realized there were so many knights. That's…all I feel," he admitted after a moment. Knights with all sorts of energy signatures—many of them stronger than him. There was a nagging in the back of his head, that maybe he wasn't doing a good enough job. But these people had gotten stronger, somehow. He eyed a few, though Camelot was the only other one that he recognized—and even then the energy signature the male was giving off was enough to make Newgrange sheepishly pull Sherwood a little closer.
He didn't like being on the bottom rung—not when it made him worry he wasn't pulling his weight.
"Is it—all of us, just knights?" he asked, trying to give himself some credit. He was working his hardest, and he was strong enough to take down what youma he'd seen so far. These people had probably been around for a while and had all the answers. Now, at least, he knew there were people to turn to—people with answers. It was rhetorical, but he asked anyway—"Why?"

Alexandria blinked as Babylon rambled off his facts. Ice sheets? What? Ugh... Maybe he should start paying more attention in class. The teen blanched at the idea of a gladiatorial match. "Ugh, don't even joke like that. My weapons a key. I am toast if that's what this is all about." ...Frozen toast anyway. Alex really hoped that wasn't the case either way. He did not want to die at eighteen. He frowned at the scar, wondering what prompted the scaring to begin with before he realized something. "...Avalon?" The page asked slowly. "Ah, you'll have to forgive me, this is my first real outing in a while since..." Since things had gone to hell, Biela had died and everyone had split ways. "Well, let's just say it's been a few months..." Alexandria muttered, rubbing at his neck awkwardly. "I like the rain." He commented off handily. "It's relaxing... Well for me at least." Alexandria loved the way it sounded. Of the panes of glass in his windows, off the wooden deck on his house. Off anything in general. Everything was different. ...That and sometimes he couldn't resist the urge to just run around in it. "Alexandria." The dark haired page said, offering Valhalla a hand.

Svartalfheim's gaze fell to the hand that Alfheim had suddenly moved from Hara Berezaiti's shoulder. Her eyebrow cocked itself slightly but no comment was made on the subject but she said nothing on the topic. If only she knew how much of a trend this was. Her expression was confused though, and very concerned. Not just was she missing, but all of these people? Most of these knights looked like practically children!
"No one is officially missing until 24 hours! However, I completely disappeared from work," she corrected, her hands swinging a little wildly. He had his hand up defensively for good reason. She was going to be in so much s**t for disappearing like that in the middle of her shift. What was she going to say? What was she going to do? Pieman owned his diner so he could disappear all he wanted, although idiots running his diner might really be just as bad. However, no one was going to fire his a**.
"Unless... you don't think we'll be gone more than 24 hours, do you? We have to find a way back. I have no way to explain this!"
Ryuthulhu Mention. Svartalfheim is totally staring. How old is she?!

"Hwebablehgle..." The sound Ys made as he shuddered, all his bells ringing, was not so much a word as a vocalization of his disgust in the idea of Luxor as his boyfriend...
"Jesus, Megiddo, don't call him that. You give me the willies when you do that..." He groaned. The tall man eyed the Pluto knight as she mentioned his abs, running a hand absently down his own. Yeah, so... maybe Luxor was more bulky than he was... but in his profession, bulk only got in the way.
Sighing, the Saturn knight turned his thoughts to the place around them, unfazed by the grumpy look Luxor had given him. He seemed entirely unaware of how close he was to getting punched, but then again... he liked to think Luxor enjoyed being grumpy, so he had made it something of his mission to give him something to be grumpy about. Such was their relationship.
"I have no idea what's going on. I was hoping you did, since you've been doing this longer than I have. Where the hell are we, anyway? It looks like Rome in the middle of the desert or something." He said, more focused on studying the knights around them as he stretched his arms up over his head and arched his back.

"Well unless someone wants to try and 'jump' back, we won't know if we're stuck, but we won't know why we were summoned either. Last time... last time it was the difference between there being Space Whales crashing through the skyline and... not." Hara pointed out, twining a strand of glacier blue hair around her finger. " She stood a little firmer now, though there was the ghost of an anxious tremor in her fingers, though she was trying clearly to stay strong, apparently taking some grounding from the presence of the other knights, much as, at the same time, the presence of so many made her anxious as well. Appeal <3 Since she and Bifrost are all near Alfheim as part of the "Check out Noah's butt" brigade I hope it's ok to have her speak up. Also Hara is 20-21ish.

"We're on another planet," Luxor offered tersely. "Not Pluto."
At least he could say that with certainty. Couldn't he? He had been to two Wonders there, and neither were like this. His was sandy and hot, true, but not red and not... well. A coliseum. The red dirt made him think of Mars, but he supposed he had no way to confirm that. Wonders were weird anyway, and nothing was what it seemed to be. And he had never been to Mars, anyway, so what did he know? He was not about to jump to any conclusions.
He was not the sort that jumped anywhere.
"I can't make myself go home."
And he'd been trying. All the tricks he had been taught. Finding peace, or trying to, calling back to his home on Earth, trying to undo the travel that had brought him out here by sheer force of will. But he supposed since he did not call himself out to this place, he wouldn't be able to send himself home It would be too easy that way.
Nothing, he had learned, was easy in this new world he'd been thrown into.
He looked at Megiddo expectantly. Because clearly she would know more about this whole thing than Ys, who was very good at proving that he knew almost nothing about anything. Or he just kept it to himself just to be frustrating. Either way, Luxor was hoping this new face would be a little more helpful than his friend had proven so far.

So they weren't that kind of partners, thought Megiddo, tucking the information away - although Fancy Casino Whatever still seemed like a good nickname and she was going to use it as soon as she got the opportunity. "Thanks, Captain obvious," she said, rolling her eyes at Luxor. "I'm pretty sure it's already been established that we're on Mars." Megiddo had gotten here a few minutes ahead of either of them, after all. She'd had time to get the lay of the land. She did not like the way he was looking at her, because it was a very expectant sort of look. It was the look that people gave you when they thought you had something to contribute, like a correct answer in class. And while Megiddo was familiar with having the correct answers, right about now, she was just as clueless as anyone else. Holding her hands up in a woah there sort of gesture, she said, "Slow down, King Tut. I've got no idea what's going on, so don't look at me like you think I know. This isn't even my planet." She thought she was wearing enough Saturn sigils for that to be obvious.

When Luxor mentioned not being able to teleport home, Ys frowned and tried it himself. Just like his partner, nothing he tried worked... Thrusting out his long-fingered hand, he stared at the palm with a scowl, looking more and more panicked as time went on.
"I can't summon my weapon!" He barked, his voice rising as he cast a glance from Luxor to Megiddo. "What happens if we get attacked, huh? We can't leave, we can summon weapons... and who knows what even brought us here in the first place. Is it going to happen again any time soon, in reverse?"
The young man fidgeted, jingling, in place as his hand flexed in and out of a fist, as though actually missing the feel of his mask's stick in his palm. Go figure, when it wouldn't come was when he'd actually want it. Scenerios ran through his head, from being stranded here and dying of thirst to being attacked by the sand worms Meg had mentioned earlier. This day just could not get any better.
"Is there a reason we're all just sitting around here, rather than finding a way home?"

The reaction was not what she was expecting and for a moment the emerald haired knight had no idea what to do. She did not let herself be swept into a waltz but she also found she couldn't hold onto her annoyance, either. The Venus knight seemed irrepressible and it was nice to see someone in good spirits despite the dubious nature of their visit to the red planet.
"I happen to think our marriage is rather a good thing." She smiled. "One of the best to come out of this war."
When she mentioned pearls she shook her head. Shalott didn't need pearls or extravagant gestures of romance. She knew he loved her with all that he was and she was exactly the same. Just being in his arms was enough for her most nights. Besides, he made his affection known often enough for her to feel satisfied. Besides, their sex life seemed healthy enough if their nearly year old daughter was any indication.
"It's natural, actually. It's always looked like that."
To this day she had no idea where her hair color came from considering how her parents looked nothing like her. Her mother had brown hair and her father's was silver by the time she was born, relatively early in life.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ ((Vesuvius is open for interaction))
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Sherwood was an Earth knight. She'd always feel more comfortable there than anywhere else. Sherwood was overwhelmed by the feeling of all of the different energies in the room, especially the overwhelming feeling coming from Camelot. He was of Earth like she was and so was the green haired woman next to him, someone he apparently knew.
"It looks like some of the knights know eachother."
She pointed to that couple specifically and didn't resist when he pulled her closer. Truth to tell, it was comforting. She didn't have his fears of inadequacy; she just wanted to know what was going on. She kept close to him and laid her head on his shoulder again, thinking and frowning.
"He feels stronger than anyone else here. Do you think he's our leader?"
The gathering of all of these knights made her feel a bit more normal actually. It was nice to know she was not alone and to that time had felt very alone. Newgrange was the only other knight she'd met. The only anyone she'd met, for that matter, besides a civilian she'd saved when she awakened in the first place.

"Pearls." Dendera noted, sagely, flashing a sphinx like smile to Camelot. Freshwater pearls, with their irregular shapes and textures, were charming and offbeat, and she thought they might help remind this charming, but very possessive young woman to let go of a little symmetry. And look pretty besides. Such a nice woman, but her insecurity was almost palpable. She was so desperately afraid of loosing her man that seeing him touched by another person rocked her to her foundations and had brought her sweeping over. She hadn't missed the anger or challenge at all, but it wasn't in her nature to be rocked by such a gust. Were the fears founded or unfounded? She hoped they were able to work it out, in either case. Love was wonderful, but without trust, it couldn't thrive. There was damaged trust there, and it made her a little sad. "How sweet. Your hair stylist must be a bit green themselves, with envy." She chirped, releasing Shalott from the waltz. "Love blooms like a flower through the cracks in pavement." She sighed, doing a little spin in place before glancing around at the others. "Though it would be nice if a few answers would pop up with it. No one knows why we're here?" Quote: Dendera is open for conversation, waltzes, hugs... etc.

She'd caught it when Valhalla mentioned he'd been at the same warehouse as Andronicus, and the Martian's eyes skimmed over his form to see if she could pick up any signs of injury on him. "You didn't get the same treatment as her, did you?" Red flicked up to peer at gold, and her brow furrowed a tad. She might have been a little bit sour over the idea of someone screwing over the senior knight like that, but kept her huffing to a minimum. "What was it even about? Fight Club, powered-style?" It was a lame attempt at a joke, but she needed something to shove the scowl away with a smile.
Themiscyra laughed outright to Babylon's commentary after she'd pointed out the name to the volcano. "I did my research on the planet." She paused and smirk, giving an almost sheepish shrug. "Helps that I get a kick out of zooming in on pictures Curiosity's taking to see if I can spot any wonders. Not that that's likely but.." Her voice trailed off as a hand flicked through the air. Yeah, magic and all that. Didn't change the fact she was curious herself to see what'd happen if she ever ran across the robot.
Her gaze turned to Kairatos with a snort, hands coming to rest on her hips. "Mount Olympus, home of the gods. Though I guess Olympus Mons is... the exact same name." She shrugged, not sure if that mattered. People weren't always too creative when it came to names. His request to visit the city however drew a grin from her. "I'd be up for that. Trade one wonder tour for another?" Her head cocked to the side, brows raised in hopeful fashion. She knew nothing about the source of Kairatos' name. This was something that had to be fixed. When he began to speak again to the Mercury Knight, Themiscyra shifted the weight on her feet, looking around the arena. Anywhere but back at them. Talk of "memories" made her skin crawl. It was kind of cool that he mentioned having a horse before but... Ugh. Her shoulders rolled to try and wave away the shivers running down her spine. Nope. No thank you.
Instead she looked to Ashur, shoving a grin to her face. "Speaking of wonders. I want to see your place. Haven't seen another planet yet." Uranus sounded interested, and not too dissimilar to Mars. Did their architecture have anything in common? What was Ashur's wonder, anyways? She thought he'd told her at one point, but the memory slipped in favor of the simple desire to want to see it.
"Ugh, no way. Not this out of the blue," she clipped to Babylon's request they all go to Mercury. She gave a critical eye to all the layers he had, and the fur. "I don't appreciate getting frostbite. Least you can strip to cool down. Unless the powers that be gave me a nice full length jacket on this magical trip..." She gagged, loathing the idea of being anywhere cold. Her and lower temperatures didn't mix. She'd migrate or sleep away winter if she could.
