Doafan Hatefully Yours I'd say it's a tie for me, between Ein and Ryu. Its Ein of course... I do really like Ein, he's a powerhouse, the type who would rush in with and kick some major a**.
However, I also very much like Ryu as I have come very attached to him from many an hour of Ninja Gaiden. He's also very good in DOA, although he's more the type to stay back and widdle away at the enemies health until their dead.
So, with Ein I usually end up beating the enemy very fast but taking lots of damage, and with Ryu I usually end up beating the enemy rather slowly but not taking very much damage.
Eh, it's still a dead tie between them for me. With Jann Lee as a close second.

Jann Lee is one of the few Bruce Lee knock-offs who actually isn't (unlike Fei Long or Forrest Law). Also, if you notice, his technique actually gets easier to use by the game (absolute beast in DoA3).
Ein is just awesome. I love his moveset [especially the Maizuru (ub+K)] and his outfits (his Matrix outfit in DoA3 was just so... fitting).
As a team... shear evilness. Not as bad as Jann Lee and Ayane, but still not for sore losers. Jann Lee's combo setups plus Ein's strength equals lot's of pwnage. whee

Jann Lee and Ayane are an awesome team.... my cousins favorite char is Jann Lee and we'll team up since im so good with Ayane and annihilate everyhthing

hmm it's kinda hard for me to choose but I think I like Ryu best, followed closely by Ein/Hayate.

Jann to da Lee!!! ! I always pick the Bruce Lee tribute character as my favorite in any fighting game...except for Mortal Kombat and Soul Calibur whee
