At last, she found a new sign that said "Everywhere". If the sign was right, then she was exactly where she needed to be! This HAD to have the answer!
"Maybe" She stated as she tried to convince herself, but came up with ever decreasing optimism. "Hopefully." was what she settled on instead.
She gave her answer to the nearby tree nervously.
"Not yet," whispered a voice from a tree! "You are close but not quite there. Why, that would make you not close at all!"
Millie sat down on a nearby log and thought some more. She got farther and was certain this was the answer.
"I'm not too sure what you are trying", says the tree, "but it seems very interesting, I guess."
The tree didn't even understand her answer... what else could it be?
One last guess and she would give up and go to the tavern.
She was rewarded by the familiar chime of her pocket card telling her she had gained another level. Several times. and the tree gave her a hug.
Elated, she skipped off to the tavern.

She was rather terrified now, what if she was caught in some-kind of endless loop? what if she simply kept going UP ANYWHERE forever and everywhere?
She came across another sign for a moment she was almost afraid to look at it. Slowly she peeked through her fingers at it.

She picked up the pace, soon she wasn't just jogging she was flat out running, racing wildly forward her eyes ready to close in terror of seeing another sign. She didn't want to go UP ANYWHERE, she wanted to go SOMEWHERE ANYWHERE!
She ought to have been paying attention however because she ended up slamming into a sign. She fell on her rump and groaned before slowly standing and cringing as she looked at the sign, and then she grinned.

Well now, that was new, and new was nice.
She was startled when a tree reached down and gave her a special hug, ugh she did not like tree hugs...trees had tried to do bad things to her. Still she gave it an awkward hug back and hurried away.

It was amazing this place hadnt yet gotten on her nerves enough for her to just be stubborn enough to take a seat somewhere and wait it out for it to end. Whatever it was. She was starting to think that maybe this place wasnt a dream afterall...

Here. Well, of course he was here- where else was there for him to be? Teddomination sighed a bit to himself, regarding the sign with confusion. Another puzzle? Hopefully nothing so frustrating as the cat and his riddles. But still, a quest was a quest! And he was going to complete just as many as he could! Puffing his chest out, he decidedly stepped forward into the woods ahead. Here might have been vague, but...
The teddy bear had complete and utter faith in his ability to find out where he was going.
At least, he thought that made sense..

'There...' she spoke softly to herself before turning around and looking behind her. Mm... alright? Was there something she had missed?
She humored the sign until she indeed came across another she apparently had missed before. Now reading this sign, she looked up, and blinked. For a moment it crossed her mind that she was thankful she was amazing at climbing... though she did see some roaming around with wings (albeit unaware they didn't function), she felt bad for a moment for those that might be a little less fortunate.

So up she went. The path was actually quite clear so that made things rather nice. Finally as she came upon another sign she blinked.. confused...

Aha! So it was just a long way up! She looked around a bit to see no one else around, and trees... forever... or rather trunks and branches. She lifted up her eyepatch a moment to rub her face before settling next to the new sign.
'Everywhere...'
So far, this was almost fun. She loved climbing, and well... she didnt exactly know what she was headed toward, but she fancied a challenge from time to time.

The trees seemed omnipresent and oppressive to the tiny teddy. Shuddering at the sight of them, Teddomination pressed forward, trying to ignore the chills and worry. Never in his life had trees bothered him so badly, until this place. Nonetheless, he had come this far- he wouldn't be weak and turn back.
Not yet, anyway.
At last there came a clearing, and Teddomination unceremoniously stumbled into it.
There.
...more of this, then. The teddy bear sighed, shaking his head. He really should've known that nothing would be so straightforward as he'd hoped. Still, he would try.
Closing his eyes, he played a quick game of eeny meeny miney mo, and set down the last path he'd pointed to.

The forest path seemed endless to Teddomination. Every tree he passed looked just the same as the last, and he was very certain he had spoken to at least half of them before. When he looked among the branches, however, no voices came out to greet him. He wondered vaguely if his sisters had done this kind of thing, to learn to be scary.
If they had, well! He wasn't backing down! Onward he went to the next sign, braving the brambles once more.
When he found it, Teddomination tilted his head.
Up Anywhere
Well, how was he supposed to go that way?!? The little teddy monster attempted, a few times, to scale the sign before him. Each time he fell with a thud, hitting the ground below.
That clearly wasn't going to work.
"I'll just go another way," he grumbled, finally standing up and heading down the first path he saw.

Shadowstep tried to press onward. Maybe he could get somewhere out of here. It seemed to work. He found himself standing before another sign that pointed upwards. With a tilt of his head, he shrugged and moved on.

After a bit of walking... he still found himself at the very same sign. Shadowstep could have sworn he had been going in a straight line, however. Sighing inwardly, he attempted to go in the general direction the sign pointed.
