Lynora looked at the dish in front of her as Sreda left her alone for a few minutes. Sheep huh? Alright, so just like lamb! Yeah just like lamb, I like lamb! She tried to convince herself that the odd meal would be tasty and hoped she was right. Lynora hesitated a little but eventually took a bite of the meat and found that it didn't taste all that bad. Once she discovered this, Lynora felt no problem in eating the rest of it, though she couldn't finish it all. She was a skinny girl with a small stomach and she was handed a very hearty plate of meat, potatoes, and veggies. The Crazy Tomboy ((Sorry!! The spotty post times will probably continue for the next week or so, the last video game I bought just got in the mail lol))

anime_creator (I see. They must be fun. What games did you get?) Sreda returned quickly with an empty plate. "I see you enjoyed the meal," she wrote when she set the plate down. She saw that there were still some tidbits on Lynora's plate. Perhaps the other girl could not finish. She did look unnaturally thin and must have had a small stomach as well. "Are you satisfied? We shall continue the tour, in that case."

Lynora smiled and nodded. "Yes, sorry. I can't finish the rest. But it was really good!" She said happily, unsure if she should bring the plate back into the kitchen or leave it. "What do I do with my plate?" she asked curiously, she didn't want to be rude and leave dishes behind. The Crazy Tomboy ((Assassin's Creed 2, Reckoning, and the one I'm getting today is Venetica.))

Sreda shrugged. "We usually leave the remains for hungry servants unsatisfied with their shares of food," she wrote once more. "Where would you like to go next? If you decide not to choose, I have a place in mind." She figured Lynora would like to see something ornate. The ballroom, then, should be the a good next choice.

Lynora wasn't very settled with that answer, why would the servants be unsatisfied with the food they ate? Didn't they eat roughly the same thing as everyone else here? Well maybe now wasn't the time to dwell on that. "Wherever you think we should go, I will follow." she said brightly, glad that she could encourage the young girl.

Sreda simply gave a short nod. "We shall go to the ballroom. Are there any ballrooms where you come from?" she wrote as she led Lynora. Of course, she made sure to turn her head back every once in a while so she could see what the other girl had to say. "If I recall correctly, there will be a party tonight. Perhaps you should attend."

Lynora shook her head as she read what Sreda wrote. "No I've never been in a ballroom before. I bet it's pretty." she said softly and as she guessed the ballroom was so beautiful it nearly took her breath away. She was brought back to earth when Sreda showed her the next thing she wrote. "A-a party? I'm not so sure if I should join. I've never been to any parties and I wouldn't know how to act or what to wear!" she said nervously, blushing at the simple thought of her going to a party, especially in this era.

Sreda stopped at the ballroom doors and then gave Lynora an encouraging smile. "I can help you with the essentials. I have been here long enough to have some idea of how a noblewoman acts," she wrote. She then examined the other girl for a moment before she put anything else on her paper. "Perhaps it will not be a problem whether or not you know how to act. You certainly have manners, more than most nobles really do, and you're exceptionally pretty. You will be fine."

Lynora was still nervous, she'd never been invited to any kind of party except birthday parties when she was little. "I don't know...I mean isn't that against some kind of custom here? Aren't the parties with the nobles usually only celebrated with other nobles? I'll stand out!" Lynora shook her head gently. "No, I don't think I'll go to that party. I'll be much happier staying in my room and trying to wrap my brain around all of this."

Sreda frowned. "Stand out?" She was unfamiliar with the phrase. It seemed Lynora implied she would not be well received with the nobles. "Oh, please consider it. You're the prince's guest. I am sure he will appreciate you being there. He doesn't bring just any girl to his palace, after all."

Lynora felt like she was a little cornered, she didn't believe what Sreda said about the prince bringing back any girl. She was sure a man as handsome as him would have many lovers. "Well....I suppose it couldn't hurt to make a brief appearance." She said softly, entering the ballroom and standing at the entrance with her mouth agape. She couldn't believe how big and pretty it was!

Sreda let Lynora take in the appearance of the ballroom. The floor's center contained the a circle depicting a colorful meadow with majestic, snowy mountains in the background. In the meadow, a horse, a lion, and a lamb stood in the meadow, looking toward the viewers. Around the circle, vines containing a variety of flowers, ranging from forget-me-nots to lilies, framed the scenery. The rest of the floor was made of snowflake obsidian, the white patterns scattered throughout the shiny black of volcanic rock. The walls and pillars were of a creamy white marble, standing majestically tall and holding the sky-painted ceiling as if each one was Atlas. A golden chandelier was like a sun in the center, dangling diamonds casting rainbows on various parts of the walls. A marble stage to the left was a place for musicians, and great windows to the right showed the very mountains far beyond the local town and forest.

"I think I might be dreaming now. This is all just so beautiful!" she exclaimed as she tried to take it all in. She couldn't believe one man owned such a beautiful home. "Will the Prince be going to the party too? I don't want to be the only one there without a familiar face to see." she said softly, though she knew that was a somewhat stupid question. Why wouldn't the prince attend a party in his own home?

Sreda giggled. Seeing as there was no one else around, she felt free to speak. "Of course he'll be there. The party is actually for his father's birthday," she replied and then she stepped on the circle. "Do you have anything to wear for the party? If you need a dress, I have a friend who is willing to lend one. She lives a bit far off, but we should be able to get back before the party begins."

Lynora had to sit and think for a second or two. "So...it's his father's birthday. If he's the prince then his father is...." Lynora gasped and covered her mouth with her hands. "The King? It's the King's birthday!? Why didn't you say so to begin with?? I-I can't go to a party where the King is going to be! I'm gonna make a fool of myself and get sent to the torture chamber or whatever you have for a jail in here." she said in a bit of a squeaky voice.
