Now this was what she was talking about!! She grinned and let go of Pothos to do the worm. She was probably breaking ten different Girl Codes by doing this, but screw that! She wanted to have fun! It was a little harder to do this in her dress, but it was still fun.

Himeros chuckled at his partner's inquiry, putting on the most innocent look he could muster. "Why, whatever reason would you have to doubt me, my dear lady?" He glanced around at some of the other couples with a nod towards some of the ones who seemed to be doing better than others. "See? Take a look around. All in the movement of the hips."
Apparently, the judges approved, well enough for them to move on at least.
Then came the announcement of the dance for the next round. Himeros lifted an eyebrow in amusement, stifling a snicker at his mother's curses at the cherubs. Oh, this was rich! Well, it wasn't as if he were easily embarrassed...and this seemed more upsetting to her than it was to him. Mother only said he had to be here, not that he couldn't enjoy it...even if it might be slightly at her expense this time.
Grinning, he turned to Zest. "Ever seen a worm trying to get back underground after a rainstorm?" With that, he dropped to the floor and started 'wiggling' for all he was worth. But not until after taking the demon's hands and attempting to tug her down with him.Wolfs Heart ((So sorry I couldn't keep up with RP while sick. I'm willing to do some back-RP though here and even continue just for fun if you'd like?))

Pothos stared at Applebloom as she proceeded to get down and dirty with it. He was quite sure he just saw ten different things beneath her dress he never really wanted too....

Facepalming, Pothos took in a deep breath and sighed, proceeding to get down on the floor and do the......freakin' worm.

"MoTHER!" Phaenna spun around and looked horrified to Venus. "You can not expect use to flop around on the ground like some sort of primitive mating ritual! There is no grace in that! It isn't even a dance of any kind! I refuse!" Phaenna crossed her arms and simply stood there. There was no way the Grace of GLORY was going to sink that low. Not even for mother.

Minuette blinked. The...Worm? What was...She looked around as pae dropped to the ground and just...Started to flail about? Well this was...Odd. She shrugged to her partner and fell to the floor, starting to flop around wildly. Really, this was really really silly! "Psst...Iordanes..Is this really a dance? It's sorta...Embarrassing." She flushed and hid her face. What WAS she doing?

Naomi blinked, not knowing how she'd managed to not get eliminated that last round. She was almost certain her cha-cha was terrible. Naomi looked around, this dance was the worm? Why would anyone name a dance after something that squiggled around on the ground and got squished so much? The fae shuddered, realizing she was going to have to get her gorgeous dress dirty in order to perform this dance.
She waved to Psyche and Eros, glad it wasn't her that had gotten eliminated. Mostly because she was having fun being out there and not knowing how to dance whatsoever. With a grimace, she looked to her dance partner and began to lower herself to the ground for what was surely a terrible performance.
With much flailing about, Naomi had managed to thoroughly sully her dress and mess her hair to shreds. She was not a happy fae with this dance, but she was most certainly using her wings to their fullest ability to keep her off the floor as much as paely possible. Ugh, she was going to have to toss this thing if she couldn't get all the dirt out of it. Mentally, she was groaning at the thought of it. She liked this dress so very much.

Fine, perhaps she had misunderstood this deity. Zest did not have any real reason to doubt him other then, wow! Now that she was looking around the dance floor she could see that he was correct. Some of the other pae really knew how to move their hips! Zest went back to focusing on her own movements. She did alright but certainly not as good as some of the others and they weren't well loved by the judges. "Dance the wh-at?!" Before Zest even had a chance to soak in what the next dance was she was pulled to the floor and had no choice but to follow lest she lose an arm. She supposed it looked just like the name, and while she didn't spend that much time observing worms during her free time she found herself quite skilled at the proper movements required to move like one. That was embarrassing... she'd rather be good at the graceful moments of the waltz then good at looking like a worm.

Apple Bloom giggled as she caught sight of Pothos doing the worm. "Isn't this fun?" she asked her dance partner and laughed. She was probably flashing half the dance hall but she really didn't care. She was having fun for the first time tonight and she hoped this would make Pothos more relaxed, too. Really, how could you not be relaxed after this!?

Hiroki had never even heard of the worm and as he watched the other contestants he also had no idea whatsoever how he was supposed to lead his dance partner in this. With a look to her he gave a shrug and then a cheesy grin and started attempting the dance, which he had to admit was easier then it had looked.

Terzjian was very aware that he was dancing with a deity, judged by other deities, so he was definitely not about to goof off. He appreciated her compliments and reassurance, however, and thanked her politely. He felt like he was starting to get the hang of himself, a bit of residual wobbliness aside. And after they were finished, he grinned at her. The swell of pride was only reinforced by the joke she made, and that got a laugh. "Looks like it!" Once all of the scores were announced, he waited with renewed excitement for the next dance. Hopefully it would be another fast, energetic dance. The Worm? ...That was an interesting choice. Could that even be danced as a partner dance? That actually made him hesitate as he considered how best to go about this. He wasn't sure he... really... could. That was a set of movements he never really... ever did. At least, not with legs. Well, that was an idea. With a bemused puff of air, he chuckled a bit and slipped off to the side enough to where there were glasses of water lined up. Bringing it back to Kleta, he offered a lopsided grin. "Sorry, but this is about the only way this one's going to work for me." Trying to minimise how much water got on the floor, he poured the glass over his head as he traded his legs for his tail and fins. Sliding the glass out of the way of anyone stepping on or breaking it, he made sure he wasn't in danger of hitting anyone. With a push off with his hands, he set the motion off, rolling the wave along his body from head to tail, then back again. He did his best to keep it from looking too much like, well, a fish flopping around.His arms weren't quite strong enough to provide the required full lift in his comparatively dense lower half, so he didn't get quite the arc he was aiming for, but it was at least recognisable, and Terzjian managed to not slip and land on his face.

Kleta's jaw dropped in astonishment The worm? Was that even a real dance?! Of course it wasn't! She looked up to where the judges were sitting, at mother in particular. Those cheeky little cherub melons. Kleta shot a glare at the first one to pass her by, she would have words for them after the dance. She hardly noticed that her partner had wandered off at first, until right before he came back with the water glass. "Clearly this dance is meant to be a jest... so do as you must." She looked down at her partner strangely at first, he did not look the usual Naiad... he really looked like a worm... sort of. She thought his part was well done, but she wasn't a real expert on the subject. Kleta, on the other hand, refused to lay down on the dance floor and wiggle like a worm, so she stood there in protest and made worm like moves while standing up.
