Ruby
Lysandiel still insisted that he needed to be shown so proof that Zurial resides in Adi's body. Even though Nyru concussion hadn't subsided, he smiled anyway for Laxion's sake. The elemental was not persuaded by Nyru's position attitude, sensing the pain he was witnessing, and urged them to go inside. Nyru had to rest before he got dizzy, even though their support wasn't of much assistance. The faceless hood took a gander at the slumped over warrior and apologized for his hasty transgressions. The angel wished to himself, accusing his brother of being a coward when suddenly, an unfamiliar voice escaped Adi's lush lips. It was low and full of spite as it denied Lysandiel's accusation. At least Zurial has some decency to allow every one to go inside and settle down. This struck Ruby as peculiar since Lysandiel told her that the angel's shun the human race and won't lift a finger to help them. Yet, here seven of them are, risking their lives for the sake of mankind when they could be in the Heavens watching the world burn below. The celestial beings aren't obligated to the humans nor to they need them to survive themselves, so what is the true objective here?
Ruby and Claudia heard the mumbling behind them and both turned coincidentally at the same time like a comedic duo. It felt awkward and unnerving to have these faceless creatures whisper among themselves. The girl's couldn't tell if they were gossiping about the group or debating whether Zurial was their genuine keen. Lysandiel was practically left speechless and hand to double-take by questioning the angel once more. They didn't linger any further due to Laxion nudging them towards the inside of the Black Palace. With the power of wind, he cleared a path to the palace by causally blowing the corpses' away. The smell of blood was nauseating and the sight was simply vulgar to look at. The city once filled with bustling life was shrouded in eerie silence, the symmetrically architecture in ruins, and the roads were now in shambles. Dark clouds remained over the city and Claudia felt a drop of rain hit the tip of her nose. Nothing good would bloom from this dreary evening.
Entering the palace halls, the guards greeted them formally as some went to fetch the nurses for Sir Nyru, as they called him. Her majesty wasn't at her throne so she assumed she was taking care of some diplomatic affairs. It would take a lot of volunteer labor to pull the city out of the state it's in. However, that was the last thing on anyone's mind considering their reactions to the parade that marched in behind them. Dorian especially, but the fiend didn't care as he smirked at the portraits on the walls. The columns were a sight to behold as well, but now wasn't the time to flaunt over the spared interior. Every few minutes, Ruby would look back refraining from making eye contract with the angels; where ever their eyes were that is. She noticed the gypsy was having a difficult time seeing how she stumbled over the smallest obstacles outside.
The blonde archer signaled to her sister that she could handle Nyru by herself, while she went to help Adi. Carefully, Ruby inched away from Nyru and trotted over to the gypsy whom was leaning against a pillar at the moment. "Pace yourself." The albino advised as she offered her hand to the symbolic Disney Princess.

LAXIOȠ Team Elixer ◥ ♞ ◤ When your soul finds the soul it was waiting for When someone walks into your heart through an open door
◢ ♞ ◣ Listen for added epicness When they arrived in the main hall, dead demons luckily outnumbered the Daywalker bodies lying across the floor. The smell, even in this once pristine palace was filled with moist death, the kind that left Laxion trying his best not to throw up this morning's meal. Why had things become so dire all of a sudden? Why now? Once upon a time... before he was part of Team Elixer, when he was but another soldier, he never believed in demons, or angels, he never even thought about a war breaking out. Occulas was in a time of peace, it learned to never war with one another since the Jewel War, but now... demons raged on again. Lysandiel and his angels could be found the last ones who stepped into the hall, each of them giving off a warmth, a light that glowed from the entrance to the hall as everyone else were further in. Adi found herself a column, and Ruby went over to give her some company it would seem. Claudia got some nurses for Nyru, who was now hurried to a wooden stall to sit whilst they went about doing emergency treatment on his wounds, luckily they were hardly severe, it would only take some time for him to be feeling better aside from the aching that would last days. Lysandiel was deep in thought, he couldn't stop thinking about how it could be, how an angel's soul was within the soul of a mortal. Even the Aspect of Redemption was perhaps the most likely to pity the mortals, but he still found it uncomprehending to think about what was being laid out before him. It is impossible he thought to himself. Laxion was steady and wouldn't leave his spot standing beside Nyru, Nyru couldn't see it but the elemental was watching so closely. Looking down at Nyru's damp and slightly bloodied hair from the concussion, his once clear complexion was now harsh and filthy. Lysandiel could not take it any longer and asked "Brother" as he stepped forwards, his golden greaves like fire against the black bloody floor as his step echoed across the room. At first there was an awkward silence as the others stared over, then at Adi, waiting for her mouth to open and let that ominous angels voice come out. Lysandiel went on further and gestured with his arm as he asked "Explain to me, if I really must believe that is you, how has your fate come to this?", he paused, "tell me." And finally, Adi's eyes lit gold and Zurial's voice escaped her lips, "We need not discuss my fate, Lysandiel. Or have we forgotten that you all knew of my plight" Zurial's temper seemed shorter than Lysandiel's, and his tone was almost irate already. "You cannot expect our council to have known where you vanished, or when, Zurial?!" he replied, the tone of his voice less harmonic now, and more like booming orchestra. "I needed answers, i seeked Reason" "Yet our brother did not see you?" Lysandiel replied, astonished, "Mesraphael did not even know your presence in his labyrinth!" and then, that was when Zurial took full control of Adi's body (I hope you don't mind!). In that moment her body stepped forwards, and from her chest came a bright golden glow that emitted the armour of Zurial, it was almost like her body had become the skeleton to his armour. Zurial was tall, even broughter than Lysandiel, with golden layers of armour and similarly a hood made of golden chain mail, Decoration on his armour was hard to decipher, even now his image was far more like a hologram than anything real. Lysandiel almost stepped back for a moment in bewilderment, and that was when Zurial replied "Because I became more lost than even the creator of the maze could find! You need not lecture me on how I could have redeemed myself, Aspect of Redemption, for I was already lost!" "Then what now?!" "I have been found! What you see before you is now lie Lysandiel, In time I will be a part of the Heavens once more" "But what of her?" he then asked, causing Zurial to turn quiet, his hood looked down as if to look within him, through the gleaming transparent armour. Lysandiel then added "Your souls are not seperate... brother... A mortal cannot ever live alongside us. And you may never live alongside them - you said that yourself." "enough of this" Zurial then added, retreating back within the body of Adi as her body was released from his power, but his voice did say "There is a bigger problem at hand-" "Lucifial" Lysandiel finished off before Zurial could. And that was when the storms above them crackled, that was when the voice of Lucifial could be heard threatening all the mortals of the world ((see the plot advancements page for his speech)). Lysandiel looked to Adi in shock just then, "The Heavens?" he asked, "go" he said to his angels suddenly, that turned to a pure white light as they became a ghostly white aur that flashed out of the room and into the skies through the corridors and bck to the Heavens. "Time is against is now, Team Elixer, we have to move to Zakernand as soon as you have all recovered" Lysandiel finished. ((i hope you guys didn't mind this, its mainly a plot advancement post)) ◥ ♞ ◤ When your hand finds the hand it was meant to hold ... Don't let go There's a day when all hearts will be broken, when a shadow will cast out the light, And our eyes cry a million tears: help won’t arrive. I may fall, but not like this: it won't be by your hand!

━━☽Ɍυɼ'Дɖɩқą Дɖɖąɧąɼɼą☾━━
Leaned against the pillar attempting to relax and gain some sort of res-bit, she knew she was going to get very little. Either because of the other milling about or the fact that she was afraid to close her eyes. Staring at the floor, a bare of small infamilair boots entered her line of sight. Glancing up the gypsy found Ruby there; offering her hand and telling Adi to pace herself.
It was sweet which made her smile. Instead of taking the hand though, Adi placed a gentle hand on her pale albino cheek; half hesitant worried whatever dark sin on her hands would pass to Claudia. That was true however though her paranoid tired mind spun its own lies against her.
"Thank you Ruby...but I'm fine; just a little tired is all," she murmured, making sure that her voice never wavered or shook showing just how tired she was. Pushing away form the pillar, she intended to move on...where she wasn't sure but didn't have the chance as the angel's spoke up; specifically Lysandiel, to Zurial.
Facing him she felt this time the words not her own coming out before they left her lips, it was less of a surprise this time around. But her parched throat and vocal cords found Zurial lower harmonic tones difficult on her body and began to hurt. It would hurt more later, as Zurial spoke, Adi found herself swallowed up by the original golden light and flood of power she had when she first wielded the orb. She was floating...drowning in it; it was both at the same time. Adi felt as if she was enveloped in warmth of a cozy soft blanket and all her worries and strife were gone; she forgot all her pain and grief.
That is till her shoulder start to burn and twist with pain that she cringed and curled in on herself it hurt so bad. She didn't know what was said or done on the outside, she was just in that surrounding light all by herself. Something more must of happened as the pain in her shoulder spiked and she whimpered. Then she was leaving the world of golden and white behind, the pain receding as well and when her eyes flickered open she was back int the palace. Words finally leaving her mouth not her own before Adi's weak body finally gave in and crumbled to the floor. Whatever Zurial had done had taken more out of her then she expected as she was left panting and still shivering from the last bits of pain coming from the Prince of Crow's mark.
Laying here exhausted and panting, that was when Lucifial's words range out about them; dark and venomous. Anger and hate surged in her a mix of her own and some of Zurial's toward the even beast taunting them it felt like. It was mostly hers because without his strive for power, she would never have been here...in this place tired and stretched to the limit, cursed and enlightened all at once, dealing with the loss of her companion and her people. Honey amber eyes glared at the ceiling with a boiling hatred that would put Dorian's anger filled glare to shame.
Which the dark figure smirked at upon catching it from beneath his dark hood. But he himself turned to gaze about interested in just how Lucifial was managing to pass this message on without being present.
Then the voice and message was gone, Dorian was indifferent though curious. Adi herself still felt the anger and hate boil beneath her skin and in her gut, but it settled after a time, but she caught Lysandiel looking at her. He ordered them all to Zankernand, and part of her just wanted to cry in defeat; no rest, no stopping, forward on into the fray and fight. But she nodded anyway not trust her voice at that point between her emotionally imbalanced and the fact her throat hurt form Zurial's use.
OOC: I'm find about the control over Adi, it's actually more like two characters in one fighting for some sort of level of control.

Ruby
Pools of blood from the Scarred stained the marvel floor of the once pristine palace. How could the queen live in squallier, but then again, she doesn't have time to worry about her own affairs. Outside there lay countless causalities, burning buildings, and rubble as far as the eye could see. The oncoming storm may wash away the blood and smell, however, the images of the battle grounds has scared the teams. Who knows how long they'll be together considering someone of them may not conjure up the strength to continue. As far as Ruby and Claudia are concerned, Nyru will possibly be bedridden for the next few days. He had lost a significant amount of blood and he didn't look like he could be standing on his own any time soon. Adi small exploration from outside to the corridor of the palace was taking a toll on her weakened body. Lastly, Claudia's emerald eyes were glossed over and dark circles were visible underneath them. She refused to admit that she was at her limit, yet she did a spectacle job of hiding her exhaustion. Anyway, its not like Team Elixer appeared completely flawless either being through a tough battle themselves.
To Claudia, the angels emanated a golden glow that warmed her backside and she felt hopeful that her partner would endure a bit longer. She gently laid him onto a cot in a private stall that was partially open for the outsiders to view the patient's progress. Leaving Nyru to receive medical care, she waited near the stall door watching the nurses sterilize his wound. After all, he was laying face down in the dirt before she came and picked him up. The nurses wiped a streak of green creamy liquid across his abrasion and washed the dry blood clinging to his silk back hair. Once in a while, a nurse would come out and ask Claudia if she needed some remedy to cure her, but she refused. Nyru should be their main focus because although she wasn't physically hurt, mentally she was. That isn't something a bottle of herbs can fix. Laxion remained close beside Nyru, and the blonde he was the best person for him to see when he first opens his eyes. The elemental's deep green eyes transcended back and forth between Nyru's cut and dry lips. She felt like she would be an inconvenience by his side, mostly because the stall was crowded and she wanted the nurses to have as much movable access to him as possible. Claudia smiled and looked to her brave little sister assisting Adi to the best of her abilities until Lysandiel interfered.
Adi appreciated Ruby's kind gesture, but rejected her offer anyway due to her stubborn independence. Her soft lukewarm hand embraced the child's cheek cautionary before jerking back and pushing off the pillar quickly. Ruby couldn't detect the tiredness in her voice, but regardless, she placed her arms out in case Adi fell over or needed some support. When Lysandiel strutted over, his robes reflected brightly against the obsidian floor, he persistently asked Zurial to reveal his true agenda. Ruby scoffed wondering why he could let the gypsy be, obviously noticing the exaggerated condition she was in. Before she could argue, Adi's eyes turned gold and Zurial's voice caught her tongue. The girl was suspended in mid-air while Zurial bluntly declined Lysandiel's request. Lysandiel was so desperate for reason and the now provoked angel wasn't giving him a straight answer probably because there wasn't one. The angel of Redemption, continued shouted nuisance about a brother of theirs named, Mesraphael and a labyrinth. Did Zurial escape from a labyrinth while this Mesraphael was on guard and found his way to Adi to live in her forever as a fugitive? Ruby was only getting bits of a background story that she was trying to comprehend.
at that moment, Ruby stumbled back when a piercing light emerged from Adi's chest and transparent armor in cased her body. The hologram was so taller that Ruby really had to arch her neck back to get a good look at the faceless projection. Figures his armor would be the same as all of the other angels, but what made him slightly unique was that his hood was crafted from golden chain mail. When he moved his head, the lose metal scrapped against his armor making a clinking sound. Ruby gawked at the being wide eyed before realizing her mouth was agape and corrected her posture. Zurial didn't make any sense, at least her childish mind grasp the complexity of an angel and it frustrated her. Furthermore, Zurial claimed that this was he will redeem himself and return the Heaven, but Adi was not welcomed. Lysandiel re-quoted Zurial's ethics back to him and apparently he believed that humans can't resided with angels. Human, after all, are the scum that infects this pure planet and should be removed immediately, yet they want to save them from Lucifial's rein.
Speaking of Lucifial, right after Zurial phased back into Adi's body, a sinister voice electrified the skies. His voice almost felt like he was right inside Ruby's brain applying pressure to her skull. Clasping her hands over her ears and squeezing her eyes shut, she waited until the voice passed. The albino allowed herself to loosen and when she opened her eyes, Dante sat there by her side loyally. She smiled to her slobbery companion before seeing Adi collapsed on her knees and out of breath. Ruby knelt down gripping the female's exposed shoulders gently as she glared at Lysandiel. She hated Luficial too, but for now her anger could only be token out on the angel in front of her for causing Adi to feel this pain. He commanded the other angel's to set off, and in a white flash they launched through the roof without destroying it. Lysandiel also wanted them to travel to Zakernand once they all recover, but time was at the essence and they couldn't wait. Ruby became resilient and glanced at the others for advice, but spoke out of turn anyway. "I though mortals were disgusting, but maybe its the other way around. Do you think we can win, Lysandiel? How much do you care about this world? How much do you care about us?" she didn't expect to get an answer, it was childish of her to even say such things. She couldn't even look him in the face when she said it which was the worse offense. What could he do to her that wasn't worse than death?

LAXIOȠ Team Elixer ◥ ♞ ◤ When your soul finds the soul it was waiting for When someone walks into your heart through an open door
◢ ♞ ◣ ((Hope you guys don't mind, this'll be our chances to calm down a little, ahve some time for our characters to think... be themselves... look back at what's happened as they recover for the night before they go to Zakernand)) Adi fell to the floor as Zurial let her take back her body, he was almost like an invader, it was almost without care that he controlled her body like that - and he felt bad in his soul. But he needed to confront Lysandiel, the Aspect of Redemption needed to be spoken to, he of all must understand what Zurial is going through. He failed to remain vigorous, he fell to taint, to disease, to curse... his world became darkness for some time. Then Ruby spoke out, and it made Lucas flinch almost in shock, she insinuated that maybe it was Angels that were not beautiful and pure, they they were disgusting. "Ruby!" Lucas said under his breath in a hushed tone, and then Alexis stood beside her, and said "No... no she has a point. " shaking her head. Then Ruby went on and said more, he asked how much he cared about this world, them, their home. His hood looked at her for sometime before he said "Mortals... you are the most mysterious and dangerous beings known to Angel and Demon. But at the same time - I believe you're the only beings that can truly redeem themselves." he then turned around as he said "I will care until I'm shown mankind cannot be redeemed... Rest... all of you." and then he burst into white light that flew through the corridors and out into the city. That was when the Queen Declasia entered, and missed the angels, "I thank all of you..." Declasia admitted, "Every demon is dead. I know it is not much... and our palace halls have been butchered... But I can still offer you rooms for the night. Our living quarters were not touched on the higher levels, the less helpful guards and prisoners can clean what they can". Lucas almost bowed to the Queen as he said "t-thank you, Queen Declasia" "Do not feel the guilt of your guild's history, it is not you who abandoned us all those years ago" she replied, noticing the stutter in his speech, and knowing tis was Lucas of whom she was contacting earlier by his robes and composure. "The maids will show you your rooms" Some were murdered... many however survived in the dungeons and in the highest reaches of the palace, and now some walked in holding towels to their mouths to ignore the stench of blood and guts on the floor. Declasia went about commanding the shadows to create barriers that pushed and pulled bodies, others that filled broken windows for the time being. Nyru then stood up, and was already feeling mostly better, but still ached and felt slightly dizzy from the fall earlier. Another song to listen to :3 The group followed the maids up the spiral staircase, and the further up they got the cleaner and fresher it strangely became, until they came to the carpeted corridors of the living quarters. First off, the maids came to several doors and gestured to Alexis, Ruby, and Adi. They had taken the girls to an identical living area that Nyru and Claudia would often share, it was kept closed for just them tonight, "for the girls" the maid said, opening the door and inside revealing an open-plan kitchen, living room, and doors to individual rooms and en suites. Another maid gestured to the men just a few doors up on the other wall, and said "for the boys, the same" with an awkward smirk on her face when she saw Lucas. She then said to Claudia and Nyru "Your quarters are untouched also, and are reserved for the two of you only, tonight... if you so want to use them". There's was the next door after the girl's rooms. "Thank you." Nyru said, taking a look then at Dorian, he only had to glare at him slightly before making a judgement and paid Dorian no more attention. He couldn't be bothered to threaten Dorian any further... not tonight... either way he didn't see Dorian trying to ruin the City any further, he had nothing to get out of it from here, all he wanted was his master back. So breaking the glare he knew that Dorian would get the idea, it was almost like Nyru simply gave up on trying to control him, but in an even worse way... slightly trusted him. He then took some steps forwards and looking back at the others before cringing and cursing under his breath. "Damn it" he gave a short smile, "twisted too fast", he then limped almost as he turned away, Laxion watched with each step he took as Lucas began to walk in behind him, and it was difficult to just say goodnight to Nyru like this, after he hadn't seen him in so long. "Wait-" Laxion managed to blurt out, he then added "I'll help you to your room" and went over to Nyru's side, giving him his back for the knight to use as support, he simply returned a smile. ___ The living area was beautiful, Alexis thought as she stepped in, it was like a dream. Everything was so dark, but cosy... colours of purple or red or blue everywhere. Regal chairs, modern ktichen, curtained windows looking out over the - ruined city. "If the rest of teh city is like this... then i imagine it would be more beautiful than anything in Entei..." Alexis said to Claudia at the doorway, staring at the paintings on the walls, the warm glow of dark purple flames from the lights on the walls and the chandelier above them. When she found her room, it was just the same, a regal bed, king size, just for her. The bathroom was more than useful too... she looked forward to relaxing in a warm bath. Whether Claudia followed or not, Nyru and Laxion slowly made their way into the living area he, Claudia and only the other most respected Royal Guard would normally stay. It was just as luxurious as the other living areas. "woh..." Laxion admitted, Nyru then letting go of Laxion and leaning on the sofa, replying with "not the same as the baracks i presume" trying to be friendly with his tone, almost teasing. "well" Laxion said, "it's far off from what i've been used to at the Summit too... are you... okay now?" he asked, exchanging glances with Nyru. Nyru looked at the door to his room and said "yeah..." "I'll... yeah... see you in the morning?" he asked, beginning to make his way to the door back to the corridor before he heard Nyrucall his name, "...Stay here tonight". At first Laxion didn't know how to react, he just stared at the door, before looking over his shoulder, the tone of Nyru's voice didn't make it sound like an order - but a plea. "Please" Nyru then added, and Laxion stepped away from the door. "I mean.." Nyru then went on, "get my door for me... it gets stuck sometimes". Nodding, Laxion made his way to the door, and found that it opened with ease with just the turn of the silver knob, when he pushed it those few inches he stopped to tell himself its not stuck at all... before opening it properly and stepping i so Nyru could too. When Nyru got in he locked eyes with Laxion as the elemental turned to face him, almost surprised that Nyru was right behind him. Nyru closed the door softly behind him and stared at him, he heart was aching, and he only wanted to say "I missed you" as he stepped closer to him, their chests close enough to feel the warmth of each other nearby, Laxion raised his hand and... placed it on Nyru's chest before he said in a weak tone "I- missed you too. I was so worried when I found out, It was worse when we arrived I just-" and that was when Laxion felt the warmth of Nyru's lips on his own, it sent adrenaline through his body, like warmth, he felt calm. The kiss only lasted seconds, but for Laxion it was hours, and when they parted he felt more alone than ever, never before had he felt so disconnected from someone before as he stared into Nyru's dark blue eyes and begged that he would kiss him one more time. "I- I..." Laxion said, knowing what he wanted to say, but not knowing how to get the words out of his mouth, too many emotions were flowing through him. Nyru stared back into his emerald eyes and felt all the same emotions... all of these weeks, maybe even months, he knew there was something he felt, he knew how much he cared about Laxion. And then these past few weeks have made him want nothing more than to have Laxion's arms around him, to feel wanted, to feel safe, to know there is someone out there worth keeping this world safe for. That was when Nyru replied " 'I' you too" before moving his head in again and let their lips meet once more. It was all so new, not the kissing... just... the emotion that went with it, the time it had been since they had last been with each other made it all almost overwhelming. Soon they were moving to the bed, and time drifted like it never existed as the two of them held each other in their arms until morning. ________________________________ ((I guess my next post will be in the morning, sorry if this was uhm... long o.0 feel free to self RP as much as you like)) ◥ ♞ ◤ When your hand finds the hand it was meant to hold ... Don't let go There's a day when all hearts will be broken, when a shadow will cast out the light, And our eyes cry a million tears: help won’t arrive. I may fall, but not like this: it won't be by your hand!

She could feel how guilty and bad Zurial felt about causing her the amount of discomfort and exhaustion as he did. Adi didn't blame him and understood, didn't help that she was already so exhausted. But she got her feet again and showed no further weakness outwardly as the angels left and the Queen entered offering them rooms and comfort.
Sleep...it sounded wonderful...a bath even more so. Adi looked at her hands noting that more blood was on her hands even if some of it the others couldn't see; she could still see Croix's. The gypsy was covered in it made her want to gag which she pushed that urge aside. Silently though she followed the rest of the group, trailing behind due to tiredness but also she simply wanted to be alone...but alone met more horrible thoughts and sleep promised nightmares.
The ladies parted from the males and Adi simply strode into a room closing the door behind her. Sliding down the panel she crumbled there; her brow praised against her knees and arms hugging her legs close. She wanted to break down, but she couldn't part of her wouldn't allow it; not yet at least.
So Adi took a bath, scrubbing the dirt, grim of the last few days from her skin. Scrubbing till her pale skin was scrubbed raw and fresh pink of new skin and still Adi could see the blood on her hands and she was covered in and all the cries of the dying reminding her how the blood got there. Pushing herself form the waters the gypsy changed into a plain white night gown and threw herself onto her bed. Sleep was a relief and a curse she knew as she closed her eyes and exhaustion swallowed her up whole.
For a time her exhaustion kept the nightmares at pay but as her body recovered and engaged in a regular sleep cycle, the nightmares came. Came at Adi with fangs and narled clawed hands; taring and pulling. She ran and ran but still found herself swallowed by a darkness she couldn't escape. Her moans of distress as she slept heard through her bedroom door as she tossed and turned fighting the darkness in her dreams and in life.
Then she was standing over bodies...bodies of her friends, companions and those she knew or knew of. The five angels were at her feet, wings bloodied and plucked, there lay Nyru over Laxion attempting to protect them him and Claudia doing much the same for Ruby; both of them rent through skin cold and eyes blank of life. There were others even Croix's body lay there.
Hearing a dripping sound, Adi looked down finding her hands...herself covered in blood that her white gown showed easily. In each hand was a weapons, a sword as blood covered as her; the wounds matched the blade.
Adi killed them...killed them all and didn't even remember it. Dropping the weapons as the horror of that fact took hold, the gypsy let out a scream so horrifying it was a near a banch's cry. Waking and still screaming, the shattering sound of windows and mirrors followed as Adi clutched her head.

Ruby
Lucas scolded her adolescent thoughts because he believed in the angels despite what she said. His eyes stared deep into hers and ironically, she was glad that she had provoked him. Once, she attended a random funnel at a cathedral to escape the rain back when she lived on Neutral City's streets. She hid in the back while these two women gossiped about the unfortunate soul that had died. They abhorred this child, calling him a brat and a b*****d among other foul names, not once did they shed a tear of remorse. It looked easier to hate the child than to mourn his loss and let themselves succumb to depression. Ruby dismissed her flashback as Alexis stood at her side agreeing with her inappropriate behavior. The blonde picked her side, but what point did Ruby have other than the fact that she had no one specifically to direct her anger at? The albino stood up and turned her back to the fallen gypsy to give her full attention and respect to the angel she had just insulted. His hood wavered, and when he explained what he thought of the human race, she finally understood. Angels aren't disgusting, nor are they divine, they are simply observers. Yet, deep inside, they wish to be apart of the whole which is nearly impossible to achieve since humans are so...unpredictable. The world is not as black and white as she assumed. Nothing is prefect and nothing can be gained without contemptuous actions, even noble actions aren't without fault. Ruby was powerless to stop Lysandiel from leaving while his ghostly figure soared down the corridor and vanished into the city.
Queen Declasia strolled through the puddles of blood that dulled her porcelain purple skin from the reflective tint. She praised them for slaughtering every last demon and offered them quarters to stay in for the night since Lysandiel advised them to rest. Apparently, the lower ranked guards and volunteer prisoners would rid the palace of the demon corpses along with the blood. Out of nowhere, Lucas rowed and stuttered in his speech which was so unlike him. She always seen him act regal and never unfaltering in his composer, putting his work before anything else, however, it was a privilege to see this side of him. The queen welcomed him personally because he didn't abandon the Land of Crows unlike his predecessors so there was no need for hate. She didn't stay on the subject for long as she gestured to the maids that would be guiding them to their rooms. All of the maids looked identical in their uniforms, although, they proved to have weak stomachs for the smell. The way they held their rags to their noses gave them somewhat of separate personalities. Maybe it was because each rag had a different symbol on them, or she was tried and commenting inwardly on boring details is a way to elude her mind from the real issues. Declasia cleared the way with her Shadowmancy by conjuring walls that pushed the piles of dead demons right out the windows. Most of the demons were discarded with that technique alone, but the ones that remained would have to be removed as soon as possible.
Claudia had been focused on Ruby for the time being until she heard Nyru climb to his feet earlier than expected. Laxion would be there to catch him if he falls and she'll be there to naturally watching from the shadows like the loyal companion she is. She felt a little sad that Nyru wasn't depending on her as much, but she just wanted him to be happy, he'll call on her at some point. She patted her armored leg silently ordering Dante to follow, however, he acted a bit peculiar and trotted over to Dorian of all people. She tried to whistle for him, but he rebelled and lingered around Dorian's side like they were old friends. Ruby didn't want to start another riot so she let the dog be as they were escorted to their rooms.
Claudia scaled the staircase closely behind the boys, and Ruby assisted Adi all the way up by staying close behind until they got to their destination. The maids appointed each of the girl's a separate room while Claudia got the biggest suit along with her partner. The decor in each room is identical though so it was like a level lower than a suit. Hopefully, Laxion wouldn't let Dorian's presence ruin his night since she could sense rising tension between the two. Anyway, Claudia nodded to the maids and veered off, discreetly giggling at Nyru and Laxion antics from afar. Instead, she followed Ruby and stood in the door frame laughing at Alexis and Ruby curious exploration. The dark fuchsia colors and the purple candle lit ambiance were pretty at first but the same old scenery doesn't amuse or pleasure Claudia as it once did. Claudia responded to Alexis with a nod of approval before tapping on Ruby's shoulder. "Hey, would you like me to brush your hair?" They hadn't bonded much as sisters, the same for the past, and she saw many sisters brush each others hair in movies and reminisce over memories. Plus, she knew something was wrong with Ruby, she can't explain it she can only sense it. "My hair? Look in the mirror at yours," she responded smirking before thinking of a grand idea. "I know, Alexis can brush your hair, you can brush mine, and I'll brush Adi's and then we'll switch!" Ruby said.
Claudia didn't want to disappoint Ruby because she just wanted it to be the two of them, although, she never got a chance to opinionated herself due to Ruby's quick actions. "First, I'm going to go apologize to Lucas. I'll be right back." Just like that she disappeared.
She traveled down the hall and stood at Lucas's door hesitating to knock so she would just talk while he listened. "Lucas. You don't have to open the door or anything. I just wanted to say I'm sorry and I shouldn't have said what I did. I misjudged the angels and Lysandiel helped me understand them, or at least how I interpret them. Anyway, what I really want to tell you right is somewhat irrelevant to what I just told you. You may not understand, but truth be told, I'm glad your mad at me. It makes things easier because if your mad you won't miss me as much. In the future, I might say things and do things I'll regret so I'm apologizing for that now sense I believe this is best. So yeah. Goodnight, Lucas." Ruby made her opposition and left without hearing a reply. When she got back to the room and excused herself pretending she was tried which caused Claudia to worry. Once Ruby was out of ear shot, Alexis glanced at Alexis and requested, "You know her better than I do. I'm asking as a concerned relative, if there is something wrong with her will to tell me all about it in the morning. Unfortunately, I don't have the stamina to stay awake any longer so I bid you a good night, Alexis." Claudia excused herself as well and ventured back to her room sadly.
The next morning, Ruby woke up to the older female's encircling a projected phone screen and laughing. The image showed Laxion and Nyru cuddling and Ruby didn't know why it was funny, they were really close friends is all. It looked comforting to cuddle so Ruby got the idea to sneak into they male's rooms and crawl into bed with them. Without delay, she quickly crept into their room and wiggled under their sheets until she squeezed herself in between the two of them. She absorbed the warmth of their skin into her cold skin and fell back into a deep sleep. Sleep escaped her last night, and this closeness was just the type of therapy she craved. Surprising they hadn't woken up yet, but she was sure they wouldn't mind since they were both like her brothers. Ruby didn't hear the scream Adi had put out, but Claudia and Alexis sure did.

◢ ♞ ◣
Lucas heard Ruby outside the door, but only the last half as he was drifting off to sleep. However, he did get up and head to the door until she bidded goodnight... and dropping his hand from the door he allowed her to leave without her even knowing he was actually listening. He knew she'd be okay in the morning, or better atleast. She needn't know he was there, she porbably gathered he was. For now, he ahd to sleep. As for Alexis and her prior chat with Claudia, she blankly stared and didn't know whether to tell the truth or lie, but she only had to say goodnight and worry about it for the morning...
Adi slept in the room beside Alexis, and she had to admit she heard the noises Adi was making in her sleep as she endured what she could only believe to be a nightmare. It wasn't until she heard the scream and the shatter of something like glass come from her room that Alexis shot from her bed and darted for Adi's room. Turning the door knob and quickly and pushing the door open she found Adi clutching her head, the aftermath of breaking glass and mirrors scattered across the floor in her horror. "Adi!" Alexis said, letting her know she was there loudly but in a hushed tone at the same time. She looked over the room one more time and could already feel the chill of the open window, so she waved her hand and ordered the window to reassemble itself, the same for the mirrors as she rushed to the bed and set down on it's edge, "Adi" she repeated "Are you okay? I'm here, I won't leave you" she didn't want to sound like she was talking down to her, but she couldn't help it, she had matured in her extra time and could almost be a mother for half of them now. Alexis wanted nothing more than to make sure Alexis was okay before she left.
In the morning Alexis met with Claudia in the kitchen, and after some early snack they headed back to Claudia's room that she shared with Ruby, and Alexis managed to use her magic trickery with Claudia's room knowledge to spy on the guys, Claudia knew Laxion went with Nyru and the two of them couldn't resist. That was when Ruby awoke and found them too, that was when she hastily left and the girls only guessed she went to the kitchen.
Nyru never slept so well, the weeks he'd been sleeping in either makeshift beds whilst on the run, or in temporary villages by the Therians, he hadn't really had the chance to sleep in a proper bed recently. But what really made it all so much better was having Laxion pressed against his back, and the elemental's arms clasped firmly around his own as they sponed together all night. Laxion never wanted to let go, not afte rlast night, he never wanted Nyru to get hurt, never wanted to be too far to become helpless like he was last night. When morning came the two of them managed to naturally toss and turn so that they weren't so inseperable, and it made Ruby's entrance all that much easier as she sneaked in and managed to squeeze between them without waking the heavy sleepers. Later in the morning, Laxion was the first to wake up. He realised his back was turned to Nyru, and without opening his eyes he turned over and lifted his arm to put it around Nyru... but the figure was distinctively different. That was when he opened his eyes to find Ruby right before him! "Ruby!" he exclaimed, quickly making a gap between them and pressing down on the blanket between them to separate their two bodies, "what are you doing?! When did you get here?!" and that was when Nyru woke up and almost jumped back as he lay there in the surprise to find her there too. "Ruby!?" Nyru exclaimed just as Laxion did, his eyes were wide and stared at Laxion hoping he'd do or say something, Nyru couldn't as he wasn't as close to the girl as Laxion was at all!
Meanwhile, Alexis and Claudia were off their heads, they'd been waiting for this moment and Alexis almost spat out her tea all over the bed when she saw Laxion wake up, "LOOK AT HIS EYES" she exclaimed whilst tapping claudia's shoulder vigorously.

Clutching her head, fingers tangled in her long tossed locks and angled as if she wanted to claw the images and nightmare out of her head. The wings sprouting from her back were pitch black; not a silver of white or light sparkling from them. No there wasn't any light in Adi's rooms rather darkness; the magic crackling like electricity like static at her fingers and around her.
The gypsy didn't notice Alexis enter, didn't really hear her, all she was heard was her own crying sobs of horror at what she had done. Not till the other woman she barely knew touched her shoulder which only caused Adi to cry out again in shock and horror. The clearly distressed young woman leaped away from her.
"Don't touch me!" it was more of cry of desperation then an actual order. Curling her arms and wings around her like a shell of protecting, Adi just curled up in a corner of the room eyes wide and still not fully focused on the reality before her.
Dorian as well had heard the scream of the gypsy rushing into the girls' rooms shirtless since he had only slept in a pair of black trousers. His room had been the closest and what had really woken him was the uncontrolled spike in dark magic. One woman could have done it and hearing her scream he was there shortly after and saw Adi curled up in the corner like a wounded animal in hysterics.
"Well...she finally cracked," he droned not pleased but not all unsurprising. "It's what your little group gets when you bring in a civilian into a war you don't understand. An untrained civilian at that, and expected her to be a powerful front running wielding ancient magic with deadly accuracy." Dorian didn't say it but he would have Adi to have lost it sooner, but things had piled up most recently and it was her breaking point.
Unfortunately they couldn't loose her to nightmares and hysterics...not till this all was done; only then could they take to some mental hospital.
"Ruradika," Dorian snapped at last, the woman's eyes shooting up to him but only her eyes that almost sparkled with a darkness darker then the nearly unlit room. He strode forward and pulled her to her struggling feet she whimpered and pushed at him feebly. Gripping her chin almost painfully and likely to bruise, Dorian lifted her eyes to his and it wasn't long before they flashed red for a moment and then the gypsy crumbled toward the floor. It was only the once apprentice's arm around her waist that kept her from falling to the floor. "I've knocked her out...she still needs rest and those nightmares wont give any relief," he stated before Alexis could ask as he knew she would.
"Go back to bed...I'll stay here and make sure she's alright...and I'll leave the door open and sit over here," Dorian stated and sat himself in a window seat staring out at the night; noting that the window had been masterfully put back together. And that was where Dorian stayed the whole night and portion of the morning as the others milled about being woman; Adi still unconscious to the world not joining in.

Ruby
Claudia jumped out of bed, it was still dark with this happened, and if she had to estimate it would be three hours until sunrise. Alexis arrived in the gypsy's dark sanctuary first and Dorian got there second. The blonde confronted the woman trying not to sound to condescending, and kept a calm motherly tone to her. It was understandable considering how young Laxion and Ruby were compared to herself. Adi pushed Alexis away and balled herself into a corner as her dark lightless wings curled around her pale frame. Dorian stared at her unsympathetically saying how she was broken and the nightmares were practically merging with her conception of reality. Claudia couldn't help but fell protective, so she summoned her bow and a strung arrow aiming it in the back of his head. He ignored her and for some reason Ruby's dog was growling at her. It was defending Dorian and followed him as he stepped into the now tidy room. Adi had shattered all the glass in the room like the windows and mirrors earlier, before Alexis came in and used her arcane magic to clean it up. The shirtless male yelled her name and strolled in to handle her rather roughly. This made Claudia pull the arrow further back as Adi struggled and then fell unconscious.
Claudia wanted to call out for her, but Dorain justified his actions by saying that she needs more sleep. He also recommended that he stay with her until morning, however, the blonde wasn't thrilled with that idea. When she tired to object the mutt stopped her in her tracks and began to bark which could awaken Ruby. She guessed she really didn't have to worry though since her little sister was a pretty heavy sleeper. The blonde made her weapon vanished and signaled Alexis to leave with her. The door to Adi's room would be open so if he pulled a sly move, she wouldn't hesitate to shoot an arrow through his head.
The two blondes joined up in the kitchen for a light breakfast before heading back to Claudia's room for some secret eavesdropping. Alexis used her reflective magic so the two of them could view the boys spooning together in their bed. Ruby jumped out of bed quickly a few seconds afterwards and left to the kitchen, or at least that's where she thought she went. Instead, she appeared in the image crawling into the boys' bed which made Claudia snicker, "This should be good." Watching the boys freak out when they discovered Ruby was the most comedic act in the world. Alexis couldn't contain herself and spit up her tea all over the bed sheets. She gestured over to the male's eyes and Claudia was laughing so hard that she couldn't breathe. She leaned forward holding her stomach wondering what the affectionate couple was going to do next.
Their tossing and turning was so noisy that Ruby couldn't believe how easy it was to infiltrate their room. She was surprised at how close they managed to stay despite her wiggling in between them. Nyru flopped over and reached out to attempt to pull his lover close when he realized the distance. He opened his green eyes and announced Ruby's name in the loudest manner possible. It was way to earlier for his antics. He interrogated her as she lay there lifelessly, yet scooted closer to Nyru for warmth. That was when Nyru awoke and jumped away while Laxion separated all their bodies with a blanket. Finally, Ruby sat up and yawned searching her arms out dramatically before rubbing her eyes going for a cute sympathetic look. She glared at Laxion and said, "You guys were cuddling and I wanted to cuddle too. We're all friends so why should it matter if I'm here or not." her attitude was wavering between jealously and annoyance. Out of nowhere, she became serious and gentle placed her hand on top of Laxion's hand. "I'm cold. I couldn't get warm last night either." her skin felt like icy and she released her legs from under the clovers rubbing her knee joints. "This goes first." she whispered to no one in particular, although Alexis and Laxion should know what she's hinting at.
"Can't I sleep here in a little-" she stopped herself and moved in closely to Laxion's neck noticing the hickeys. Ruby whipped her head around to Nyru ready to scold him to abusing Laxion when she noticed the same markings on his neck. Suddenly, she stood, apprehended a pillow and cocked it like a shot gun. "How dare you two hurt each other!? You will make up right now or pay for your insolence!" she commanded looking down at them and imagining fire blazing behind her.
Claudia kept laughing, but what Ruby said about being cold was really bothering her. Last night she was a freezing and kept mumbling how she didn't want to die in her sleep. "Hey, Alexis...are you sure there's nothing wrong with Ruby?" she asked, waiting for the female's hysterics to pass over.

The arrival of Dorian surprised Alexis, and at first she scowled at him and abrely wanted to let him close. She still hated him, she would never trust him and couldn't understand why he was even with them... but she hoped to trust what Claudia and Nyru were doing, it wasn't her right to go against them. When Dorian's magic worked on Adi Alexis gasped and lit a blue spark in her hand before he explained what he had done. He told her to leave and that he'd look after her. Still, at this point, Alexis was finding it hard to understand the visual scar or pleasure of her biggest enemy... shirtless, or even comprehending leaving Adi with him. Shaking her head she said "Fine" before turning on her heel, but she glared over her shoulder and said "But if anything happens to her during the night, i'll hand you over to the morticians."
As the two girls tried to contain, or rather, release all their pathetic laughter, Ruby was explaining how she wanted to cuddle and Laxion defended "But, Ruby uh-" he didn't quite know how to explain it, did she not know? He knew he never mentioned it but he thought it was obvious to everyone what was going on between Nyru and him. She then placed her hand on his, her skin ice cold against the warmth of his, yet before he could say anything else she was moving the sheets and when she revealed her knees she pulled the blanket down and Nyru gave Laxion a shocked expression as his torso was revealed. Laxion returned the look, yet he was less embarrassed of Ruby seeing him shirtless as it had become normal, Nyru on the other hand rarely undressed in front of anyone, rarely even Claudia if he must. She went on to talk about something going first and Laxion had no idea what she was talking about, but he went on and said "Ruby! You- you don't understand" and then she stopped and glared at him after talking about sleeping some more.
Laxion knew what she found and he quickly went to hide it under his hand in embarrassment, Nyru similarly not knowing how to react. She stood on the bed and almost comically lifted a pillow like a gun, and so Laxion finally said "Ruby we haven't hurt each other! Why'd you think we're sleeping in the same bed all night-" and even then he shocked himself admitting it. Nyru was meanwhile unaware of what to say, but was slowly becoming more surprised at Ruby's innocent child-like manners and naive mind.

Alexis' reaction was underwhelming and certainly not unexpected. Her threat really only making him smirk but Dorian gave her a flurrish of a bow that was both mocking and confirming. He would look after the little gypsy angel...the Fortune Soul he knew so much and so little about. Making himself comfortable in the window seat with the newly repaired glass, Dorian thought and plotted many things; some good some bad. Lost in thought he didn't notice the sky begin to brighten or the dawn coming closer but when it did Dorian did find it a pretty dawn even with the city in partial ruins. Not long but soon enough he heard the other girls raise and bussle about giggling and laughing over something he cared not to know about. It was mid morning if not later that Adi finally began to rouse drawing his attention. Adi's eyes groggily opened where they rested on her pillow, her body heavy and lethargic as if she had slept overly long and far t deeply for her own good; if that was even possible. She tried to remember something because she felt like she had forgotten something important. "You had a nightmare last night and had a fit of sorts...a magical fit," stated Dorian evenly glancing at the bed startling Adi who stared wide eyed at him in surprise and then a bit of a blush seeing as Dorian hadn't cared to put a shirt on. "So frightened your wings turned black as night and screamed so loud you shattered window and mirror alike...refusing to be touched or talked to; unable to be calmed down. So I knocked you out with a spell and made sure there were no nasty after affects or further incidents."Adi stared into her lap and gradually the fog of sleep lifted and she remembered the nightmare the partial incidents in reality with Alexis. Hearing the muffled voices of the girls out there beyond her closed door, the gypsy looked just as tired as she was last night. "I could have hurt someone..." she breathed. Dorian nodded as he rose from his seat. "Yes you could have or would have had I not intervened; dark magic shot through here aimlessly and that's highly dangerous. If you can't control yourself then what use are you gypsy."Adi glared up at him offended but knew he wasn't wrong either even if Dorian has said it very poorly. "What do you suggest then?" she snapped shortly her answer was a smirk from the once apprentice; a smirk that made her shiver but she couldn't back down just yet - - - - - Some time later Adi finally emerged from her part of the room. And though they hadn't dicussed it, Dorian knew Adi didn't want him walking through that bedroom door way and out of the girls' suite. He wasn't one to care though and found enjoyment out of following Adi out of her room, a pleased look on his face and still shirtless. "Morning everyone..." she murmured and then glared at Dorian. "You can leave now..."He shrugged and seemed content to hang around and make the atmosphere awkward and heavy. ◑__________________●__________________◐

Ruby
The gypsy strolled into her quarters with the shirtless apprentice closely behind. Claudia was amazed with Dorian's innocent act, but quiet frankly he had a good body. He wasn't terribly toned, but his pale skin shimmed from the light worming its way though the crevice between the curtains. "Morning Adi. You look ravishing this morning." Claudia insisted as she turned her attention back to the mirror. Alexis hadn't answered her question and maybe it was because she's being a stick in the mud. Why would there be anything wrong with Ruby? The albino appeared to be her cheerful-self, however, it was something about her aura that has changed. Claudia thought she was being paranoid sense Nyru got hurt and not she feels a need to be overprotective. Ruby, although looking frustrate, seemed to be enjoying herself as she antagonized the two boys. It might be time to get her and drag her out of the room so the two could have their alone time. Nah! Their expressions were way to hilarious to allow them to go to waste. Besides, Ruby was giving them the puppy-dog eyes so how could they resist her cuteness?
Laxion tried to explain his position, but became concerned with Nyru's body being exposed. The male was highly self-conscious and even Claudia had seen him bare chested only once. He was bleeding out underneath his armor and Claudia had to remove his garments so she could stop the bleeding. Anyway, Laxion spoke up and told Ruby she didn't understand the circumstances until she saw their love marks. Both men tried to hid the evidence of their affection under their hands, but the girl wouldn't let up. The way she threatened the two almost made Claudia fall off the bed laughing. Again, Laxion defended them and basically hinted at their relationship in his own words. Ruby sunk to her knees and practically squeezed the stuffing out of the pillow. "You slept together all night because you two love each other. Me and Claudia do the same thing. But...but..." Tears came to her eyes as she looked back and forth between the two. "Why can't we do the same, Laxion!? I've only got so long to spend with you and Alexis!? He and Claudia will always be here! I know I sound selfish, but is that so wrong? I don't want you to forget about me while your with your with my replacement!" She threw the pillow at him and ran out of the room.
Claudia stopped laughing to hear Ruby's anguish as she left the boy's room. "What's that all about?" The blonde asked the others confused as to why Ruby was sad. She said that Nyru was her replacement? Where did she get a silly idea like that? And what did she mean that she only has a limited time to be with them? "Alexis, why is she acting like this? You spend more time with her than I do. You must know something." she badgered.

As Adi left from her room Alexis couldn't help but be surprised to see Dorian walk out all shirtless and casual, she knew he was there but it still made a feeling in his chest crush her heart to see him living with them. He was the man to help Zoltan after he killed her father in another time, she will never forgive him for relating himself with such a monster. And if being allies with him right up until that last second means she can get that much closer to him and Zoltan, she will. She would give up anything in the world to see their heads rolling on the floor with the bloodstain of their death forever on her scythe's blade. Alexis barely even took notice of what Claudia said, or what she has asked prior before having her attention pulled back to the boys' room.
At first Nyru and Laxion just stared back at her, finally she was getting it, but then everything took a turn for the worst. "What?" Laxion insisted, and Nyru was becoming more worried, the situation had suddenly become incredibly dark and all he could do was stare at Laxion as the girl ran from the room, leaving behind a waterfall of tears if she could. "What was that?" he asked, and Laxion looked down and admitted "I... It's hard to explain" and then he looked up, and noticed the gadget in the corner of the room and scowled at it before grabbing a pillow and throwing it hard at it to break the connection. He saw that blue glow and who was on the other side.
Suddenly Alexis was between a rock and a hard place, "I... I-" she began, shaking her head, but claudia asked more and finally she couldn't take it anymore. Slipping her legs off the bed and standing up in her gown and finally admitted "She thinks she is dying! That power inside her she thinks its going to destroy herself and she plans to use its final power against Lucifial and sacrifice herself to the Jewel! " she gritted her teeth after the contained frustration was let out, seeing herself in the mirror she was reminded she was no longer a young girl like claudia and Ruby, and swiped her hand over her reflection and made her clothes weave over her body from arcane magic in the flash of an eye. Fully clothed, she looked back at Claudia and sternly added "I don't understand it either and I want to save her but I don't think i can!"

Coming out of the gypsy's room at they were, he expected looks, specially from those that didn't even know he was in there. Dorian expected curious and suspicious glances from the group of woman. It was only Alexis though that really gave him any looks, seeing as they weren't hidden he smirked at her as the once presumed dead magicer stared at him with clear distaste.
"See something you like Alexis," he droned teasingly to get a rise out of her, the once apprentice however was soon backing off and pushing open the suite doors in order to leave. Dorian's black gaze on Adi who had stationed herself before large windows and starred out over the city. "Don't forget gypsy."
"I won't...and you'd come get me if I did," she said plainly never looking at the shirtless man.
He left and only a soft snap of the latch snapping into place as the door latched once more was Adi's note of Dorian's departure. With him gone her thoughts could return to what they had talked about and to the city...yesterday...and her actions...which led to what she had lost; Croix and her people. Adi squeezed her eyes shut as if it took literal physical effort to push those thoughts aside. But she was glad of Alexis bringing up Ruby and her situation as he served as a great distraction for the troubled gypsy.
"She thinks? Was she told this or are is it presumed to be the case?" Adi asked calmly. Thinking and actually probability were two different things. The Jewel was unpredictable, it could keep Ruby alive as likely as it would kill her. "We've already lost enough lives in this war...we don't need our fighters sacrificing themselves."

Nobody hears me, as I suffer the silence I'm holding onto you...I'm holding onto you There's a hate inside of me like some kind of master! I try to save you but I can't find the answer I'm holding onto you, I'll never let go I need with you with me as I enter the shadows
